A great quick stop for Korean food. Affordable, delicious, good portions. The kimbap is made on the spot: fresh, warm, tasty. The donkatsu is usually what I get here, for it comes with nice little sides and the donkatsu is well made and the sauce is delicious. The tuna and spicy tuna rice balls are pretty good. My family really enjoys them both, especially my 2 year old son (not the spicy one, of course). The Korean stews and broths are average, but you should expect that. After all, Rolly Kimbap specializes in kimbap and other rice dishes. I order from Rolly Kimbap at least 1-2 times a month.
My go to spot for Kimbap in Queens. I usually order the spicy fish cake Kimbap. They have a variety for food. Tried their bento boxes before and it was good as well.
Rolly Kimbab always good. I love their spicy tuna rice balls. They’re so fresh and always in point ! Ask for the yellow spicy radish you’ll thank me later
The food is really good, the tuna is amazing.
The katsu definitely hits the spot! Spicy rice cake was a giant portion compared to other places and cost less.
Awesome place. I love their rice cups and all the different options you can put in it. They make it quick, its filling and cost around $5.
This is my kids favorite restaurant. They would eat here every night of the week if they could. The food is excellent. You might have to wait a bit for a table if you come at dinner time, though.
Stop sleeping on Mail Garden. People hype up Mapo Galbi which is on the opposite corner from MG but this is by far my favorite KBBQ spot in NY. I've been to Mapo, Jong-ro, Kang Ho Dong Baekjong, Sansoogapsan, Biwon, Galbi Maeul, etc etc. They're all reasonably good, but Mail Garden is by far my favorite. Any Picnic Garden fans, just stop reading here. May God have mercy on your soul. 1. They have a parking lot. Let me reiterate-THEY HAVE A PARKING LOT and it is quite large as well. If you've never been to this area then you have no idea. This restaurant is located in the heart of Mukja golmok, which is a dense cluster of Korean restaurants near the Murray Hill LIRR station. Parking during dinner rush is a nightmare. Parking during the lunch rush is a nightmare. Parking between those times is somewhere between headache and nightmare levels. And no I'm not going to trust the valets at other restaurants that will gun the engine down the narrow Flushing streets and then street park it somewhere. 2. I'm not giving 5 stars for the parking, obviously. The meat here is amazing and the quantity doesn't disappoint, either. I usually get the $100 sirloin combo which comes with an assortment of meats. That will comfortably feed 3 people although that might be 2-4 depending on your party members. You'll get a complimentary jjigae which is quite good. The banchan side dishes aren't out of this world but just solid. The highlight is the warm soybean paste used for dipping peppers/cucumbers/carrots along with your meat. Most places will serve it cold. I'm not big on naengmyun but both my daughter and mother-in-law are very picky and this is one of the few places they will get naengmyun from (the other being the dedicated naengmyun spot down the block). 3. Real wood charcoal. Most other spots use gas, and there's a huge difference. If you come here you better be planning to go home afterwards because you WILL stink. But then again that goes for all Korean restaurants anyway. So don't half-ass it, cook your meat over a real fire with real wood.
To make it short, service deserves 5 stars, along with the quality of the food. Rolly Kimbab really provides a great variety of things to try such as Kimbab, rice cake, rice balls, etc. Due to the current pandemic, although you can't indoor-dine, you can still experience the great cuisine at home, because yes, they deliver. Overall, great place to go to in Springfield, Queens.
One of my favorite kimbap places in the US. The large variety of options (including vegetarian) is very fun, as well as the availability of many other banchan and Korean street food dishes. Something for everyone.
Amazing korean food! You must try the tuna rice ball (large one) it's practically a whole meal. I ordered though uber eats. If you order the sets you can easily save food for the next day as lunch, there's so much food. The tuna kimbap is good but I think there's always something new or added with it like ham or egg or some other vegetable. Speaking of different, I get different banchan (side dishes) each time I order a set. It's not a complaint, changes things up I guess. Pork katsu tastes great too! If they ever add bubble tea then I might as well live there.
Their place is super nice inside and their food is equally as good. It’s a cheap price too. Their rice balls and ramen are really good if u want suggestions and their service is great. I like how they have bells That u can ring if u want something unlike other restaurants where u have to wait really long.
The kimbap here is fresh and delicious. I like that the menu is so diverse and there are so many types of kimbap. I ordered the cheese pork cutlet and the eel kimbap. Spicy squid, spicy tuna, and pork cutlet kimbap are all very delicious and flavorful.
Fast and delicious. The spicy tuna kimbap is the best here!
I ordered the family set and it had a good portion of each menu item. Food was good and tasty. I'll definitely come back to the Rolly Kimbab. I was very satisfied.
The kimbab are made fresh and they also have plenty of sides to choose from.
Simply the best kimbap in town, so freshly made. Must try spicy squid kimbap and crab salad kimbap
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! This is my second time here and i have to say it’s one of my favorite places to get good and fast korean food. The prices are all super affordable especially for the portions that they give you. I always have leftovers. The kimbap here is the best (my favorite is the rolly kimbap). Today i got the single set and it was more than enough food for me. My sister got the bibimbap and it was loaded. Highly recommend coming here!
All the food is very clean and delicious. The price is very reasonable for the quality of the food, and the delivery and packaging are done quickly, so it is very easy to call ahead and pick it up when traveling.I love Rolly Kimbab*-*
It’s very rare that I come across a Korean restaurant that i actually want to applaud. It’s the quality, generous amount of key ingredients, best value for the money, and service you would occasionally find at a stellar start up establishments. While dining in their only tiny table inside, i thought to myself, ‘ wow, they really made effort to dish out the best food they can’. I don’t do restaurant reviews, but this is the only reason why I wanted to leave a review. I’ve lived in LA Ktown for many years and also visited 5 other pricier Korean restaurants during my short trip to NY, but never have I been more impressed by the effort and commitment to excellence I witnessed here. Even their take out plastic spoon is quality that I’ve never seen before.
Great selection of Korean street food. It's usually busy during lunch and after school hours. My only gripe is that when busy, the staff really should create one line of customers to place orders. Because they have a front and back door where customers are coming in from, it gets confusing, and some people just order right off the bat anyway once they get to the register without confirming if they are next, which isn't cool.
Take out only as there's no indoor seating, which is perfect for a quick grab & go meal. Great selection of Korean foods that are modestly priced for the generous portion size. Depending on your order, you'll have to wait about 5-10 mins for it to be prepared; there's hardly any pre-made foods here. Highly recommend.
I’ve been looking for a Korean restaurant that delivered to my house and this one popped up for the first time. The food and packaging was excellent. I had gotten the spicy tuna kimbap, tteoboki, and kimchi rice ball. Everything tasted fresh and had a lot of flavor. Will definitely be ordering from here again.
Great meals for a cheap price. Never a disappointment. Plenty of parking in the rear. Seating is available if you wish to eat in. Handicapped accessible for those in need. A great atmosphere. Restrooms were cleaned and sanitized. The staff are very professional and polite.
I come here every weekend, their rolls are fresh and huge in potion. I also had their hot noodle soup and I had to share it with my boyfriend, too much to finish alone. I'm going to try their morning sandwich, last time my boyfriend said it was gooooood.
The kimbab box was incredibly delicious and definitely worth the price! You can also substitute the kimbab with a different kimbab for about 3 extra dollars. The various side items in the box was all so refreshing and yummy, ranging from tangy, to salty, to creamy and sweet! It was incredibly filling and definitely one of the more reasonably priced item on its menu! Would definitely order it again! The service was fast and friendly, so you can go in and out in a matter of minutes! Highly recommend to get your Korean fix (: Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:
They were very organized and service was very prompt. They have many different kinds of kimbap, portion size was very good. This appears to be takeout only, not sure about delivery. I definitely will order from there the next time i am in the neighborhood.
Good spot, I like that you can come in from the back and just pick up and pay (if you ordered in advance) this is especially helpful when it's in the afternoon, when highschoolers and the like are rushing to this place after-school. Great spot and a great representation of good Korean food. I'd recommend this place to a friend any day.
Been going here since high school, same quality. Filling without being complicated, good bang for your buck. Be sure to ask for soup if you want it, it’s no longer automatically included (free of charge soup).
solid spot to grab lunch box that will last you throughout the day. location wise very convenience and lots of parking in rear. ordered rolly set for $20 came with pork cutlet, rolly kimbap and plenty of appetizers. portion is HUGEEEE can eat for 2-3x very good value for money. perfectly balanced meal with everything including carbs, protein, veggies. ordered couple set too, they came in with tteokbokki, taste homemade and so good. they open very early too at 6am. there is no seating available, it’s just a grab and go places. they also sell variety of korean appetizer in the fridge.
I absolutely love Rolly Kimbab for all my Korean cuisine cravings, especially their exceptional kimbab. This place is a true gem, specializing in an array of Korean staples, with a focus on their fantastic kimbab varieties. Each visit is a delightful experience, thanks to their extensive kimbab selection that never fails to impress. Whether you're a kimbab aficionado or new to this delicious Korean dish, Rolly Kimbab is the go-to spot. Their expertise in crafting these rolls is evident in every bite – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The ambiance is welcoming, and the staff always greets you with a smile, making each visit feel special. For anyone in search of authentic and delicious Korean kimbab, I can't recommend Rolly Kimbab highly enough. It's my top choice for satisfying my kimbab cravings and exploring the wonderful world of Korean cuisine.
I love how they always open so early and have lots of varieties. I also stop by before going on a hike and pick up some kimbap or rice balls and bring them with me on the hike. The prices here are extremely cheap for the portion. I usually get the kimbap box and it’ll cost me less than $15 and feeds me two meals. I love all the side dishes they include and very generous with their rice ball and kimbap fillings. Everything on the menu is pretty good and I love the udon noodles and spicy rice cakes. Pics shown are single set (not including udon) and the kimbap box
Really delicious. I came here late at night 30 mins before they're closing, they didn't want to take it since it's close to their closing/cleaning time. Anyhow, they took it. I got it for the next morning hiking. I put it in the fridge from 10pm-6am. When I took it out, it didn't get hardened, delicious like it was just bought. The food was delicious. Perfect ratio. Not too much rice . Very delicious
It’s one of the best in town. The owner is so kind, the workers are really kind. The food is great too. I must say that if you didn’t try anything of the menu, don’t hesitate to place your order. It’s worth it. I am a college student, so if I skip meal, I come here and eat. This is my go to place. P.S. This meal was $5 only.
It was my 1st time trying out a place like this & Food is delicious! There was a combination of so many different flavors... all in one plate. I can't wait to go back. I had this veggie bento box but it came with this shrimp tempura & a tuna rice ball so it's not totally vegetarian. I'm sure they can work something out if you asked for it to be completely vegetarian. Overall. My experience was great, the cashier was helpful & food is definitely worth a try.
It's always a great experience whenever I visit this place. This restaurant is a great Korean spot. They serve a variety of food, and it's very yummy. Though the restaurant is small the customer service is fantastic. The servers are very polite and accommodating. Last but not least, the food is very very affordable. I love the place. __________ Transportation. •The Q30 takes you from jamaica Ave, Queens to Rolly kimbab. •The the q27 takes you from Cambria hights, Queens to Rolly kimbab.
The food here is yummy and not pricey at all. I like coming here on weekends. However, it can get very crowded...especially during lunch and your order might take a while if you have a bunch of people ahead of you. The food is still very good, it just seems too be very crowded every time I go.
Go to place for quick bites and takeout. Food is decent especially their rolls but some are a miss such as chicken teriyaki rice which has big chunks of chicken that looks a bit bland. Recommended for simple and convenient food!
They didn't put too much spice but Kimbab tasted good as home made. Real good!
Came here with friends. Got the rice balls and the two family dishes. There was a ton of food and it was delicious. Definitely recommend coming here to try some of their korean style foods.
The place is a nice to go if you want something to munch on for a decent price. Especially if you are a teenager, this is where all the kids go out to eat. Service could be a bit better, but still, a good place to go for typical Korean food. ( nothing fancy)
They take a really long time to make the food you order. You can dine in but it's self service or you can take it to go. There's two entrances, one in the parking lot which is the back and one is the front entrance on the street. My favorite one that I keep going back for is the spicy tuna kimbab. The other ones are okay...but that doesn't turn me off from coming here at least once a week. I also like the one with fried egg wrapped around the original kimbab. The price is very cheap and you get a huge roll. It's filling! I tried the k-dog once and it was alright, I don't like sweet foods but if you're into it, go for it. Warning, the k-dog is a huge portion!
You gotta order the Pork Cutlet with rice. Even as a take out, the pork cutlet is still crunchy when I get home, best to eat at the restaurant. It also come with salad, and some sides. The sauce is sweet, and tangy. If it were a little less cook, it woulda be juicy, and perfect.
Easy to see right off of Springfield Boulevard and the East bound side of the Long Island Expressway. Parking on the Street is available but it fills up fast especially at night and on the weekends. Parking lot in the back. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.
Its a small korean spot and the bento boxes they offer come at a really good price and they’re extremely fulfilling. The one I had was the kimbab bento box with tuna rice and some sides. The food is so simple yet so good. Service is extremely quick.
Last time I came here was 7 months ago, and I specifically gave them 1 star because of their terrible customer service and wait time (even though there were no dine in customers) for my food. However I decided to give this place another chance and wow I’m blown away. The place was jam packed so I was expecting to wait at least 10 minutes for my food, however I got my to go order of kimbab and iced coffee in less than 2 minutes. I noticed they have a different cashier, so maybe they switched some employees up a bit.
Korean resteraunt with good atmosphere and food. Has a variety of foods like noodles, sushi, kimbab, rice balls, etc. isn't too expensive, most foods are within $6 - $16 range. The music is great, they play korean songs. Only knocked out one star cause service isn't that great. Staff wouldn't come around to check up on you or see if everything is okay. Other than that, good place
Called to order for takeout for a group of friends. I ordered eight kimbaps it was ready within 15-20 mins. All of them were solid my favorite is the spicy tuna and the crab salad. Not usually a fan of only veggies but that one was not bad.
Can't believe I haven't tried this place before. I wanted Korean for eats and happened to be walking by Rolly Kimbab and decided to give it a shot. Take-out location only, with a bench and a couple of chairs to sit and wait as your food is prepared. They also have pre-packaged Korean food in refrigerated sections for you to choose from. Their menu is expansive, and lists prices if you pay cash and card; there is an additional fee for purchases made with a card. For my first visit, I went with spicy tuna kimbap and a spicy bulgogi rice ball. It came to just over $15 paying by card. The customer service could be better. I wasn't initially attended to and noticed Asian folks who came in after me were being greeted immediately. After several minutes, they acknowledged my presence. After I ordered, I was told about a 5 minute wait. Almost 20 minutes later, people who ordered after me got their food right away, and I was still waiting. I asked about my order, and it was sitting at the counter the entire time. Hence why I could not give 5 stars. The food though, definitely deserves these 4 stars. The kimbap was fresh, delicious and right amount of spice. It was my first time trying a bulgogi rice ball. Just the right size and packed with flavor and spice. So good! Am I going to return? Of course, I am looking forward to trying more food options and hoping for better customer service.
I come here about once a month because I like the food here. My favorite is the Bulgogi Rice Sandwiche and the Boiled Beef Rib Soup. I just wish they didn't increase the prices so frequently..... Also they used to have some seats for dine in and a restroom opened for customer. All gone since the pandemic. There is also surcharge if you pay with credit card. So please make sure you bring enough cash if you want to save the 3%+ extra cost :)
Got the crab onigiri, spicy tuna onigiri, bulgogi onigiri and spam kimbap. Crab onigiri is the only thing that really struck me but damn I would go back for it!! Love the spicy sesame seeds. Def want to try more items! $25 cash for lots of food.
Great place for authentic Korean food but the small cozy place has never been the same since Covid as u can not sit and eat inside anymore.
We’ve been to Rolly Kimbab in Bayside so many times, and we always end up getting their combo boxes. The combos are pretty reliable — nothing fancy, nothing “wow,” but definitely not bad. It’s just good, simple food that fills you up. If you’re hungry and want something quick and solid, this place does the job. Just don’t expect anything high-end — it’s more like a tasty “eat till you’re full” kind of spot.
Ordered online on Uber eats, the couple set that had tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) + a bento box. I enjoyed the tteokbokki and the pork cutlet. It would have been nice if there was an option to add cheese into the spicy rice cakes. I wasn’t a huge fan of the kimbap, if there were more meat I think I would enjoy it more.
Machine rolls kimbap don't like it big different then by hand rolling. Rice is packed too tight so it feels like chewing rice cake.
The quality at this place has gone down the last few years as its popularity has gone up. The wait is so much longer even if you order ahead by phone. The tables are always full and there's really no good place to wait. Even if you're by the benches, people practically have to walk over you to pick up or pay for their food. I think there are only two people doing the rolling, so the pace is super slow.
Their kimbaps are very hearty and tasty. 1 roll can fill you up., definitely recommend. But I would give this place more stars if they actually closed at the time they advertised and not any earlier. Their "open" sign stays on till 10, but they stop serving walk-ins after 9 and only do takeouts between 9 and 10. I've walked in twice after 9, and the first time I was basically kicked out. The second time (today) I walked in at 9:10PM and they very reluctantly served me a takeout order. They really should just say they close at 9, or say only takeouts after 9. I'm sure I'm not the only one caught by that and was disappointed.
The food is pretty good for the price, the cutlets(chicken & pork) are both pretty dry, but the kimbaps are good the sandwiches too
Please make pick-ups easier. There is no way to know if the food I'm picking up is out or not. I was on the line waiting for the food that was out on the table (without any labels) for 20 minutes. Why am I trying to air fry a soggy cheese tonkatsu now?
Tuna kimbap was delicious, as always. The rolly ramen, however, was very disappointing. $9 for korean ramen is fairly expensive, considering you can buy a 5-pack at the market for $6-8. Not to mention how extremely bland and watery the soup was. Would only recommend their kimbaps. :)
Recently gave Rolly Kimbap a try during lunch and my initial experience involved trying their featured menu item: the Rolly Kimbap ($5.74). At first glance, it seemed like a reasonable option in terms of value and it tasted decent for the price. Intrigued by the potential, I decided to return later to grab some dinner. When I made my second visit, I ordered 3 different types of kimbap: the Variety, BBQ Chicken and Spicy Tuna, but none of them left a lasting impression. These were all $7.50 each. If you order kimbap, you can request miso soup as well. In addition to the kimbap, I also ordered a single set that came with udon soup and several side dishes for $15. The side dishes were nice and the pork cutlet in the single set was the highlight of the meal. However, everything else in the single set was lackluster. The same can be said for the Seafood Soft Tofu Stew ($13.50). Both times when I visited, the staff was extremely pleasant. It's interesting to note that they also sell separate side dishes in boxes for purchase in the front too. Additionally, this place is not a sit-down and eat restaurant and more geared towards takeout. As most establishments in this area, there is a 3% credit card charge. With all that has been said, I was left quite unimpressed by the food here and it's unlikely I will return.
I have never written a bad review but to receive spoiled food is wrong. This is my first time here so I am assuming it was by mistake. On a positive note: - The bulgogi bibimbap had a nice spicy dipping sauce (spoiled dish) - The vegetable ingredients in the kimbap were fresh - The portions are generous for the price
Mediocre food and bad service. I went there with my family today and my food didn't come out even when everyone else finished eating. Turns out they didn't write down the order correctly. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my family is a semi-regular. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Food is pretty bad overall. Their kimbab does not taste good, doesn’t matter the kind. I ordered spicy tuna kimbab today and it had more ham and egg than tuna. I also ordered spicy rice cake and it had more cabbage than rice cakes. Why is there even cabbage in this stuff? I don’t get it. Disappointment every time.
Super disappointed with the food. Their kimbap was stale; their entrees were okay but not worth the price. Overall, we paid 33$ for food that we were pretty disappointed with. The Korean food mart around the corner had better packaged kimbap.
I stumbled here when I wanted to feel full but not cheat on my diet. Thank God there was. Young Korean kid that explained the menu to me. He suggested the “ Bulgogi “ so I blindly asked for it. Food was good but was served to go . I wanted to dine in. Overall, food was good. They didn’t serve me water like other people dining and there was a fly in the room that gravitated to the table by the window.
Used to be my go-to Kimbap spot. Not the best in town but the most convenient. Can't really say the food is terrible or amazing. But one thing that is very upsetting is, as much as I understand inflation but there's no reason for something that used to cost 5$ two years ago now cost $10 for one roll. And on that you start charging for a single spicy mayo. Shake my head I'm not coming here anymore I'd rather take the drive out to Bayside or flushing
I love this place as I go there all the time, for the past 10 years. However, there’s been more than one instance, on separate occasions, that their seaweed kimchi has been tasting like dish detergent. Probably it’s from not rinsing the detergent well before food preparation but that’s awful and unacceptable because that’s directly linked to customers health issues. Quite disappointed.
The bulgogi fried rice had a weird smell to it. We ended up not touching it at all. When I went to pick up our order, we noticed it didn't include any soup. So I went back to the register and asked the male worker if they give soup with the kimbap. He points to a sign and says in such a rude tone, "You have to ask for it". How about when we place an order by phone, you preface saying it doesn't automatically come with soup and ASK if we'd like it to be included...
The staffs should know first how to behave with the customers. Service is there actually no service. Food is very ok type. I might say affordability is the only positive side of this restaurant. I would rather stop eating kimbab if I would have to go there again.
I ordered 3 spicy tuna kimbabs and it took 20 minutes to get my food. It wasn't fair since the people who ordered there after me who also got kimbabs got their food way faster than me.
Very disappointed about the clumsiness and the order that you are not exactly wanted.I ordered 2 chicken avocados rolls, however, they forgot to put avocados which they charged additional money for it! Just want to remind everyone, you better double check with your orders before you leave the store!!!
Horrible business practice I ordered a spicy seafood ramen. I was sent the wrong order. I asked for a refund of the difference in money, which was $6 the owner said i will only get a dollar back because the fees are different in the store. When I asked for a my actual order to be sent to me he said I will have to pay for the new order, even though they sent it wrong. Horrible horrible i will get food from this restaurant again. The container was also open n the soup was spilling out when I received it. Disgusted !
This place advertises that they close at 10pm. Tonight we got in at 9:25pm. Before we even placed our order at the counter the guy said they were closing and appeared to not want to take our order. Only after I complained that we drove 20 minutes to get there he said we could only order kimbab; which was fine because that’s what we wanted anyway. But why the hell would you assume we were ordering hot food and you say you’re closing without even hearing our order first? After a long 10 minute wait (we only ordered 2 rolls) we got our food and began eating. Not even 5 minutes later, the same guy comes over and says that they’re closing. It was 9:42pm. Who the hell does that?!! Not only is that completely rude and unprofessional, but anyone who works in the service industry knows that you don’t come up to a customer over 15 min before closing time and ask them to leave. That is so messed up. We were both honestly shocked. Rolly kimbab is a place that I’ve been to over 10 times now, and while the food is good, tonight’s dining experience left such a bad taste in my mouth that neither my girlfriend nor I will ever come back. We’re just going to get our kimbab fix elsewhere.
Grab dinner from this place pretty often, called them at 7:15 and ordered arrived at 7:30 to which the person in front told me it should be 2-3 mins. At 7:40 I asked is it ready, she went to the back came back and said it’s literally going to be right out. Another minute passes and ofcourse the food isn’t ready. I inform her that I had called ahead of time to pick it up as I am on my lunch break, so now it’s 7:43 she goes to the back and comes back and says they’re literally making it right now, sorry. I had no time to be upset or even say anything, I politely requested a refund so I can go across the street and get some pizza. This was a horrible experience and I would never go back again even though I’ve been going to this place for some time. They lack simple awareness, and when I did let them know what time I had called, their response was “sorry we get a lot of fried orders. I’ve even gone ahead and catered and still no bad experience but this is something that delayed my lunch break and I had no time to grab something. Super inconvenient. Horrible service
Haven't ordered here in a long time. Ordered a bunch of items recently and I don't know if the owner is different but the food was trash. The spicy rice cakes were dry and flavorless and you can tell the pork cutlet was old and sitting out. They gave me the wrong order so I had to drive all the way back there to pick up the correct order. Won't be ordering here again. The rolly in flushing is 1000times better and service is 1000 times better. They used to be good but seems that owners changed.
Unfortunately I have to edit my review. I had previously given this location 5/5 on everything. But for the past couple of months they have really lost their customer service. I was just put on a 10minute hold and when I make it to the store, (while still on hold) the male cashier didnt even care to apologize for the lack of service. There was no one in the store just me and one other customer. He was able to approach me immediately to take my order, so why not answer the phones ? He consistently gives me the feeling that he doesnt want me ordering here (maybe because I am hispanic?) I've been coming to this location for almost 10 years. And not until he started working here have I dealt with this. Not cool 👎
We ordered two pork cutlet platters, tuna rice ball, three spam triangle kimbap. Pork cutlet had very little sauce and it was too dry. Tuna rice ball had very little tuna in it. I felt like I was eating plain rice. Same goes for the spam triangle kimbap. They really skimp out on their ingredients. Their potato salad that came as a side dish was spoiled. It hasn't been hot out, so I wonder how old the salad was... I don't think I can return here again. Rolly Kimbab in Flushing location is way better. We never had an issue with the freshness of their food nor their portion.
Ordered thru Uber Eats last night, the restaurant contacted me that one of my items were sold out so I replaced it with a cheaper item. Upon checking out I asked the cashier how much was charged and she simply said they could not adjust the amount due because it was an Uber order. Excuse me? You did not say a word until I asked and simply told me to figure it out by myself? At least they should threw some compliment items to make up the balance. It turned out they did not even bother to put spoons, folks or even napkins in my order so I guess those are luxury items for this restaurant.
!!! WARNING !!! Get your order from ""Flushing"" location! The name is the same, but their kimbap is completely ""different"" — and they don’t even give you soup. I must have soup when I eat kimbap. I’m honestly getting irritated while eating it. Total waste of money. I’m never ordering from this place again. If I could go back in time, I’d stop myself from ordering this an hour ago.
Had the seafood ramen which was pretty alright. The tuna rice cake was pretty good too. The only complaint I have is that I have restrictions towards eating pork and I had told the guy in the front about it enough times to get it through his head but he ended up giving me pasta with ham. Unfortunately, I had tasted it without knowing about it, but since it tasted odd, I asked him whether it had ham in it, and he said yes. He said, "Oh, I should've told you about it." There was no apology.
