I like it. Tastes very delicious. I got the dry beef brisket noodles. I was expecting the brisket to be a bit different but I ended up liking the different textures of what I was served. Lots of tables during Monday dinner.
Everything is absolutely perfect-the food, the server and the decoration. It would be nice to have something like a traditional Asian diner has with a little greenery or water feature.
Had a fantastic experience here. Everyone was so nice and helpful and the food was delicious! The staff was really sweet and really seem to care about their customers experience. Another plus for those dining in is that there is a ton of space in the restaurant, the tables are spaced enough so that you won’t feel crowded. This is a huge plus for me. For an appetizer we got the Taiwanese Fried Chicken which we really loved. It really reminded me of the popcorn chicken you can get at night markets in Taiwan. Very crispy with a nice peppery flavor. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen and I really loved it. The pork has a really delicious grilled Smokey flavor and the soup base had notes of seaweed which I really loved. My wife ordered Mala beef slices rice noodles which was also fantastic and has a really authentic Chinese flavor. It was a somewhat spicy with a Sichuan peppercorn flavor. We also got the lemon green tea and it was so refreshing. Really great taste and has some jelly in it that added some flavor and texture. I loved this drink so much I almost went back later that night after doing some shopping at cross gates. My wife and I will definitely be coming back. If you want authentic Chinese flavor and great service I would definitely recommend it!
Amazing food! Fast accurate service! The decorating didn’t lose its culture to Americanized anime craving audiences, they celebrate the history and procedure put into making original ramen. Great place!
Amazing Asian cuisine and impeccable hospitality at Ji Bei Chuan! The menu offers a delightful array of authentic dishes, and the staff’s warmth and attentiveness make dining here a truly memorable experience. A must-visit for foodies 😊
New place, our first time there (BFF and myself). We were greeted immediately and seated. The girls who were working that night are sisters, and both were so sweet. We started with boba milk tea, seaweed salad, and edamame, and went on to rice-noodle seafood ramen bowls. Both of us were quite happy with our meals and we will definitely be back!
Mala Fish Slices Rice Noodles: Very generous portions with the perfect amount of spiciness, lots of vegetables & noodles and the soft fish fillets paired perfectly with the broth. The Taiwanese fried chicken was also a 10/10! They somehow fried the chicken flawlessly with the appropriate amount of crunchiness and seasoning. It tasted good alone and with the sauce (I think it was sweet chili?) provided as well. I wish I had a photo of it, but I stomach got to it before my camera.
Amazing food and service! We ordered the chicken rice noodle soup and the veggie tomato noodle soup, both are delicious! I feel like I was back in china. The young lady serving us is very kind and nice. High quality restaurant, deserves to come back!

Not sure what’s the better the food or the service! Husband and I stopped in for dinner and were amazed at how fresh and amazing our food was. Very reasonably priced as well! Will definitely be back!
I come here on a weekly basis with my kids. They always accommodate our dietary restrictions. I am allergic to MSG and they do not use MSG in their soups, which is why we like them so much. Their scallion pancakes are delicious, because they’re always made fresh to order. One time, I came with two kindergartners (my son and his friend). After we received our stir fried noodles, I asked if there was MSG in the noodles (I wanted to sneak a bite of their food). Then the chef saw that it was kids eating the food, and he recommended that the kids should not have MSG. So he made another round without MSG, and they didn’t charge us. I love this place.
Their noodle is very delicious the soup is tasty and authentic. Plus their customer service , my uber driver sending me the wrong order but then I call them and they deliver it directly to me.

The tomato mushroom soup is so good! So flavorful and balanced at the same time. Noodles are chewy and nicely cooked, portion size is big, and the owner is very friendly. Definitely will be back🙂↕️
A small, quaint restaurant serving very authentic ramen and noodle bowls. We came here because we received a coupon in the mail and we are so glad we visited! The portions are generous for the price. We were very surprised that the chicken curry ramen was paired with a whole chicken breast on the side! The broths are incredible and have a great flavor. The spicy short rib ramen is actually spicy and only comes with a few pieces of rib. The staff is very nice and attentive. I would recommend comming here again!
Really great service, I came here for an event where the whole restaurant was booked and the staff were very nice. I'm vegan and it was really nice to see they have a vegan option for almost everything, the udon I ordered was called vegetable udon but was more of a plain udon with green onions, delicious but could have been more vegetables I think. I would come here again to try their soups though!
Recently dined at the JiBeiChuan in Orange, CT and was blown away by the food so when I discovered that there was a location closer I had to check it out. The food was outstanding, we had the signature fish maw & chicken rice noodle soup, beef stir fry udon, and Taiwanese fried chicken. The soup broth was rich and comforting, noodles perfectly cooked, chicken so tender (fall off the bone, if there were any bone lol), but there were only 2 pieces of fish maw? I'm not familiar with this dish so not sure if this is normal or if it's served mostly for the broth but regardless there was no fishy/seafood flavor. I can see this spot being super popular in the winter - it was a hot 90 degree summer day we visited and there wasn't much air flow so be prepared to sweat lol!

Food was pretty good! The main issue we had is that they were running a holiday deal online and got pretty upset when we mentioned it, though the advertisement was from them and included the restaurant name and address. I can see that maybe whoever set it up didn’t inform everyone, but it’s hard to say “We’ll do it but that is for a different restaurant” when the ad clearly says otherwise.
I wonder why this place has such a high rating, we are frankly disappointed. Apparently the owner's friends wrote reviews 😆 In the photo there are shimai with shrimps, you just have to look hard for them there, and it's tasteless. The salad with seaweed is only 50% seaweed on top, and at the bottom, under the seaweed, there is hidden Chinese cabbage, this is not indicated in the menu. Noodles were overcooked and also for an amateur. I do not recommend it at all

A terrible experience. It seems like the owner has changed-the food tastes different, and the prices have become very expensive. A bowl of fried Udon noodles costs $18, and they even forgot to add the egg. The server had a very poor attitude. I told the server that I had a prepaid account with the restaurant, but he said my account was missing. It was only after I insisted that he finally told me I could still use my balance. Anyway,I don’t think I will go back
Really disappointed. I found a fly in my fruit tea, and only noticed after I’d already had a good amount. The drink was only opened indoors, so it definitely didn’t come from outside. When I reached out, they were rude and even asked, “Are you that desperate for money?” Totally unprofessional. I’ve reported it to the Albany County Health Department, and they said they’ll be inspecting. Just sharing so others can be aware.

Hands down the worst ramen I’ve ever had in my life. Got food poisoning afterwards but I should have known it was coming after looking at the disgusting food I was served. I don’t know how old the ramen and protein was but definitely had to be expired. Didn’t even finish half of it. If you want to get sick instantly and get a few days off from work or school I highly recommend going here. Overall just a terrible place that I will never be going near again 😭😭
I had high expectations, but I was quite disappointed. The restaurant wasn’t very clean, and the food tasted bland and arrived cold. The staff also didn’t seem very friendly. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. Hope the shop can improve both food quality and service.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. The service was shockingly bad from the moment I walked in. The staff showed zero professionalism or basic courtesy — instead of welcoming customers or doing their job, the server spent most of the time glued to their phone, completely ignoring guests. It felt like customers were an inconvenience rather than the reason the restaurant exists. As for the food, it was even worse. The noodles were poorly prepared and lacked any real flavor, but the most unacceptable part was the meat. Some of it tasted sour and clearly not fresh, which is not only disgusting but also raises serious concerns about food safety. Serving food in that condition is completely unacceptable.
