We came here for a cider tasting and were pleasantly surprised by the range of options available. There were three non-alcoholic ciders alongside several alcoholic varieties, giving everyone in our group something to enjoy. Some of the ciders really stood out for their flavor and balance — so much so that we ended up buying a bottle to take home, a sure sign of how much we liked them. On top of the drinks, we decided to order a pizza, which turned out to be a great choice. It was freshly made, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the ciders. The food menu may not be extensive, but what they do offer is well-prepared and satisfying. The overall experience at Nine Pin Cider Works was excellent. The staff was friendly, the vibe was relaxed, and the quality of both the drinks and food made it a place we’d gladly visit again. Whether you’re a cider fan or just looking for a cozy spot to hang out, this place delivers.

Great cider and probably the nicest employees ever. The owner is a great guy who seems to care about his coworkers. I love their initiatives to celebrate Dry January and people on their sobriety journeys. This place is a staple in the Capital Region, and you should check it out yourself! They have so many interesting events and initiatives throughout every season!

Nine pin makes a great signature cider and has many good varietal ciders as well. The local beer on tap selection is usually good as well. The food is always great and they are extremely accommodating of gluten allergies. A great spot to hangout after work or visit on the weekend. The staff are always friendly and the patio is great in the summer.

This place is in a perfect spot for a peaceful fun or calm vibe. The host Courtney was very polite and helpful. I ordered the mini charcuterie board and a buffalo chicken and Mac and cheese empanada. For my drink I had 2 cosmos. (Hard cider) they were delicious, refreshing and they have a little kick if you know what I mean. lol. Very modern and lovely aesthetic. The art work in the restaurant is amazing. I love it definitely will be back!!

I have always loved cider. Maybe it's the upstate girl in me, I don't know, but hard cider just makes any day better. Conveniently, Nine Pin is down the street from my job - where I have a lot of rough days during the summer. But even if it was the other side of the state, I'd make a point to come here! The drinks? Fabulous. Not sure what you want? Get a flight! I did this last night and Lauren set me up with a great set of drinks - she really knows her stuff and is incredibly friendly and fun. The Apple Pie-Secco was easily the favorite of what she gave me this time, though the original will always hold a place in my heart. The atmosphere here is also amazing. Want to sit inside? The main room you walk into is so cozy, and the view of the cider taps is something you just have to see for yourself. Want to sit outside? No problem! Want to sit outside but it's raining? Still no problem! I honestly love sitting in the covered patio area with friends. I always have a great experience here!!

As a satisfied customer who has just visited Nine Pin Cider for the first time, I can say that my experience was exceptional. The first thing I noticed was the wide variety of ciders available. From classic dry cider to bolder options with flavors like tropical fruits, ginger, and vanilla, there was something for everyone's taste. I was also impressed by the attention to detail in each of the cider presentations, which were served in appropriate glasses and at the perfect temperature. The staff's treatment was exceptional; from the moment I arrived, they greeted me with a smile and took the time to explain the different types of cider and help me choose the best option for my personal taste. Additionally, throughout my stay, the staff was very attentive and helpful, answering any questions I had and making sure I was enjoying my experience at their establishment. In summary, if you're looking for a place with a wide variety of ciders, friendly service, and a good selection of local food, Nine Pin Cider is an excellent option. Came here on a whim on a Sunday around 1pm and we were not disappointed! We've had their ciders before (purchased at Trader Joes), and loved them so much we knew we wanted to try their other options! We were not disappointed at all! We ordered a flight of 9 ciders presented cleverly on a sturdy rack shaped like an apple. Each one was excellent--some dry, some sweet, and some aromatic. All were well-balanced and there wasn't a bad one in the bunch! Our favorite was the Earl Grey! The aromatic bergamot paired well with the cider. My second favorite was the chai cider, and then the cranberry, and ginger. They were all delicious and each flight pour was a large portion! They offer a good selection of food--We initially wanted the local cheese plate but they were out of 2 of the selections. We took it in stride, and took the suggestion of the staff and ordered 3 empanadas that were from Lidia's empanadas. Warm and flaky and filled with yummy goodness, they were a great compliment to the cider. Our favorite was the spinach/mozzarella/ricotta empanada. They also have a full selection of quality apparel and swag. We bought a mustard colored beanie that had a classy Nine Pin patch on the front. They also sell cans and bottles of select varieties of their cider. We bought some for home of course! We had plenty of seating when we arrived, but it picked up quickly after about an hour there--around early to mid afternoon. They have tables for small and large groups. It's clear they are a popular and well-loved staple in the Albany capital district community! This is now my new favorite cidery! Their cider is worth the trip!

The food, beer, and cider were so good! I loved the Nutella Bearpaw and the black bean and plantain empanada best. Lots of different ciders and beers to choose from, including beers from other brewers. The staff was friendly too.

The cool crisp taste Nine pin cider is just perfect on a hot day especially at Nine pin cider works. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a chill vibe and great music. Get the flight and try as many as you can, this is a great date spot or perfect for catching up with friends!

Some of the best ciders I've ever had. My only complaint is that they don't produce their Earl Grey cider yearly. Great location in downtown Albany in an area that is really becoming the place to be on Friday/Saturday nights. Love getting a flight and trying their new on tap variations. If cider isn't your thing, they do have a rotating selection of local craft brews as well.
