I was staying at the Hilton in Albany which has the recovery sports Grill attached to it. I went in and was graciously greeted by a manager who gave me his opinion on what I should order. I ordered the salmon and it was excellent! Thanks , 5 stars

Went to this restaurant twice as I was staying in the hotel it’s attached to. Both experiences were great. Nachos were impeccable. Steak cooked great. Great service and fast.

What a great surprise this place was! Connected to our hotel so we didn't even have to go outside to get there. The service was personable, friendly, and fast. They were doing a trivia night when we were there which was a blast. I had the Greek wrap which was light but filling. The side salad was fresh and crisp. Plus, it was all reasonably priced. The seasonal drink concoctions were really good and hit the spot on a cold, wintery day. I'll be back next time I'm in Albany!

I was staying at the hotel upstairs and was initially hesitant about popping in because of some of the negative reviews so I wanted to leave a quick account of my recent experience. I came in on a Tuesday evening and was able to sit down immediately. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a buffalo chicken salad and an appetizer and it all came out in less than 10 minutes. The food was good and service was fast. No complaints!

We were able to get a party of 5 to watch the game in last minute. Particularly we got the football game we wanted to watch when we asked. While there was abit of time inbetween the food, it was delicious along with the manager and server being courteous. Would stop by again

Ordered through DoorDash. Called the restaurant in advance because something I wanted didn’t show on the menu and then I really needed plain Mac and cheese. I spoke with a woman named Taz I believe. SHE WAS AMAZING!! She refreshed the menu on DD and made sure when my order got through that I received my plain Mac and cheese! That right there is AMAZING customer service! From being polite, kind, understanding, respectful, she was helpful and seemed like a very happy employee! I plan on dining in soon to see her in action! I will definitely be requesting her 😉

We ordered take out and the food was absolutely amazing. The chicken blt was scrumptious, the chicken breast was cooked thoroughly and still very juicy! My husband enjoyed his bacon cheeseburger immensely and my son really enjoyed his buffalo chicken sandwich as well. Staff was friendly and quick to respond to me walking in. Kudos!

Good place, good food. Alex is the most awesome waitress! She is legit down to earth and will be honest about the dishes on the menu. Ask her for a recommendation based on your taste, and she'll deliver. Her attitude alone made my fiancee and I want to come back here. Recommend!

I order a burger and it so good. Taste fresh and the fries also is very good. I am very recommend this place if you just wanna hang out have some beer and good food with your friends.

After spending the day visiting my mother in Albany Medical Hospital (she was there for over a week), so it was the perfect place to eat many times. Great atmosphere to relieve stress. Awesome selection of food, everything I ordered there was delicious. Great Wait staff. Prices were Great.

At first I avoided the place because of the name and I thought it would just be bad pub food. But I'm glad I went. The food was good and they had a nice variety of mixed drinks. I would compare their menu and atmosphere to Applebee's but with more variety. I would recommend it to anyone.

My first time here and impressed by the beautiful ambiance, great and friendly staff, and selection of foods on the menu. Food choices and menu are good and staff are very courteous and helpful in choosing things You crave and accommodating slight changes in food options and preparations. Food was great and great prices which allows good experiences enjoying without breaking your pocket. Was more docused on our time there and the visual stunning of the place I didn't take pics but will next time. It's a sports bar so expect to see many TV showing various content. Honestly, I've never seen a sports bar with this many TVs and it's mindblowing how many their are and how many different sports You are able to see at a time. It's across the street from Albany Medical Center and a good location with access to public transportation. Thank You to the management and staff for a great space and experience. Will be back for sure and next time will take pics to add to review.

Bathrooms aren't labeled but clean. The prices are a little high but the TV and sports keep the kids occupied. The wait staff is very friendly. Nice alternative to the hospital cafeteria. Plus the seating is comfortable even fir bigger people.

Food was great although due to the corona nonsense they are running a limited menu. Service was fast and friendly but you can't tell if your server is smiling or not due to the mask. Great place to get a burger when you're in the area!

Service started off slow but the manager tonight was awesome. He saw we hadn’t been served so he came over took our drink order, poured the beers himself and had them delivered complimentary. The rest of the service went well after that.

They messed up my order but when they fixed it, the food was amazing. Nice atmosphere and right across from a major hospital. (HENCE THE NAME LOL) Chicken wings are some of the best in the area.

Great place to eat. Tons of good food. Some classic favorites, also very family friendly. If you don't mind 28+ plus televisions this is a great place to eat. Heavy sports related theme, with a friendly staff that won't break your budget. We got a nice meal for 3 adults and one child for under $35.00. Everyone was full.

Decent place. There are lots of screens, many of which are large, and there are some games to keep kids busy. The food is decent (average-above average for pub food). The only major knock is that service here always seems to be slow. No big deal for a relaxing meal, but more so if you're in a hurry (i.e. have a kid with you that you want to get home for bedtime).

Met my ex-coworker for .50¢ wing night and to pick up my delicious Girl scout cookies!! 🍪😁 Our waitress was nice however they seem to new ones every time I go there! The wings are typically great! The last time I was here my wings were under cooked and the manager came out to look at them and took them back. On this visit my wings were over cooked. You know when you chew and chew the meat is over cooked. I also ordered the Nachos salad for the first time....I have never ordered a nacho salad where they placed the topping on the side of the nachos and not on top,...and the toppings were a lil spar's. Thankful for the good and attentive service!

They have a great atmosphere for sports. TVs on every wall brighten up dining room and their variety of food range from sandwiches to wings to gourmet waffle fries. I come here often for Monday night wing night where they have 15+ flavors to choose from. Service is usually good but it often seems like they are understaffed and I've had to wait for my drink for 15 min a couple times now. But overall good experience.

If you're looking for a great spot that serve good drinks a long with providing an eclectic bar menu. Then look no further. Been here few times and the service is always excellent, a long with the food. They also offer vegetarian/vegan options. Only reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars is because of parking. Street parking around this area can be frustrating.

This place is a hit or miss. I ordered the baked haddock with broccoli and rice. Hands down the display and taste was delicious. Unfortunately I tried my luck with them a few days later and ordered the Chicken Alfredo with bowtie noodles. The dish should be reevaluated.

I may be a little biased here, as this location has some sentimental value, but I absolutely love the food here! The sauces are all very unique and delicious, and their other entree options are very good as well! Great wait staff. The drinks have been consistently below average. I love this place and return time and again, and will continue to do so!

Dined yesterday on 9/18/19. Good food, and good service! The place was filled with fruit flies...super annoying as we were trying to enjoy our drinks and food, one flew into my wine.

Got the fish and chips, but way too much breading on the fish, tasty, but over breaded. Decent fries, ample ground pepper and salt, small slaw. Partner got a very filling burgerwith monstrous onion rings. Attentive service, umpteen tvs with numerous sports shows. The tomato basil soup was good. Clean, well lighted environment with sizeable bar.

The food and presentation was good. The taste of the food was average .. the ambience is a sports bar so there are plenty of TV's .. Me and my son went there because he was craving a hamburger. Overall a decent experience.

Its your standard sports bar - but with a bit *more* of a menu. It's consistent. Is it great? No. Is it good? Yeah, its good. I used to come here for weekly trivia - it was a lot of fun. Maybe I should start up again..

I come here for lunch with my co-workers not infrequently. The lunch specials are a great deal, and they have a very good Reuben. I would not at all recommend the soups however, as I have tried several of them and they were, without exception, overcooked, over salted, and otherwise under seasoned. The service is rather slow even when the restaurant is not busy, but the staff are very friendly.

Good sports bar attached to the hotel so very convenient for travelers.

We had a big group and did have reservations. Service was great, food took over an hour, but portions were generous. Our server accommodated us ridiculously splitting the bill a million ways with credit cards. Over all there was something for everyone on the menu and once food did arrive, it was pretty good. Not my favorite place, but was was good for our groupn and convenient since it was directly across from Albany Med.

Sports bar in the first floor of a building that has a hotel. A Starbucks and is across the street from the regional medical center. I can smell the burgers every time I walk by. Lots of TVs for sports and cozy booths for get-togethers with friends

Not busy at all but ended up having to seat ourselves and after being ignored by 2 waitresses we got our own menus. Probably would have walked out but only restaurant that was near hotel. Asked for medium rare burger and arrived more well done. Brioche bun grilled but soggy from too much butter added. Subbed French fries for mashed potatoes and they were left too long under heat lamp and had a film over them. Fish and chips scored better. Fries crispy and two pieces of fish were small but crispy as well. Waitress kept disappearing so refill on drinks not an option or would have been there all night. I would understand if the place was packed with customers but it wasn’t.

I was expecting a little more from their wings. I was told the peanut butter & ghost jelly wings were the wings to get! I ordered 5 peanut butter & ghost jelly along with 5 thai chili wings. I thought the wings were on the dry side but the sauces made up for it.... kind of. The peanut butter & ghost jelly wings were ok, and i thought id get more of a peanut butter flavor but I didn't. The ghost jam was a notch over pepper as far as spiciness goes. The thai chili sauce was spicier than the ghost jam and i ended up dipping my pb wings in the thai chili sauce. The overall atmosphere was pretty good.

Garlic parmesan wings needed more seasoning. Severely over cooked our stake and burgers. Asked for another drink never received it but they still tried to charge me for it. Over all I'd say the kitchen needs some work and so does the service. I was not impressed.

Might have just visited on an off day. Service was very slow so it's possible the server was the only one working? We left after not even being asked what we wanted to drink and waiting for a while. Previous visits, we quite liked it. Your mileage may vary.

First off the staff has no idea whays. On the menu then second if your menu says fish and chips i dont expect to pay extra for the chips or potatoes the fish was good but the headache of getting my order right and it never happened and i was charged for the best they could do was frustrating to say the least. But it was good!

Good was good waitress was awesome! BUT went with my two kiddos and husband for my birthday dinner and it was so cold in there I sat on freezing seats my kids were shivering as was I. The fact that they are NOT allowed to sing happy birthday to anyone is very upsetting. So I won’t go back just for that fact! I have been there before and it wasn’t a wow pleasing factor either always so cold!

I order a burger and fries, asked to have my onions sautéed. Walked in, place not crowded, very nice young lady greeted me. I told her I'm here for a pick up, got my food. Tell why my onions were raw, fries salty and there is no way that was fresh beef. You mean to tell me, you could not sauté that small amount of onions. This was LAZY at it finest, if it was crowded and if people were on phones taking orders, I really could understand. That was not the case- SMH! Wait and is the cheese I paid extra for????

The food was good but unfortunately the service needs to be better. Yesterday was my second time going and it will be my last. The bartender was rude and had a foul attitude. The food took a long time to be made and after 45 mins of waiting we had to wait longer because they didn't have what we wanted. Long story short it was unorganized, the staff was rude (the bartender) and unorganized and the service was really bad. Especially for a light night

Loved the bartender, Alicia, but it was unnerving sitting and eating with one of the cooks looking directly at me the whole time. Literally every time I looked up, he was staring. Other than that, the food was okay. The cheese was great.

Placed our order on line. 4 meals and only 1 was correct.We had 2 orders of salmon which was supposed to come with mash potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The salmon came with nothing else. The burger was supposed to come with waffle fries. No waffle fries came with the burger. It was accompanied by kids Craft Mac and cheese. Which wasn’t available as a choice. The chicken sandwich and fries was the only meal that was correct. I tried to call and address these problems and no one answered the phone. I made 3 attempts to call and nothing.

To start I am sitting at the bar, which isn’t even close to max capacity. I waited about 10 minutes to even be noticed and then another 5 before I got a drink menu. After I got the drink menu and ordered my drink it took about 10 minutes to get my drink because the “bartender” was cleaning up and getting ready to leave. I got the Strawberry Mint Lemonade; this was not muddled and all fruit for drinks she made that had muddled fruit in it she muddled all in a separate glass and added to the already prepared drink and not shaken. The mint in my drink was virtually undetectable. She was a nice girl, but man she was slow. She has none of the drinks memorized and is reading everything out of a binder so be prepared to wait. I ordered the firecracker shrimp and the Asian bowl with salmon, the shrimp were good but tasted a bit like flour. When I got my entree the first thing I noticed is the odd combination of extremely cold carrots and tomatoes, and hot broccoli and wantons. The salmon was also petrified; it was very over done. I am glad that this came with the dressing on the side. All in all it wasn’t terrible, but it would NOT be my first choice when deciding where to go for dinner.

Not what it started out as. I remember when they launched the local chains it was the go to sports bar. The food tasted like it was prepared in my home kitchen and the staff wasn't engaging at all with the customer. I also had to listen to a kitchen staff member complain about others and often swearing as she talked about others work performance. They have definitely lost their family friendly atmosphere.

There was a group of us here for a conference and have stayed ate here many times. We had made reservations and ordered weeks ahead of time so the restaraunt staff knew the size of the group they had coming. The waitresses and bar staff were not pleasant. We were not loud and was giving large tips with the drink orders. At 10pm we were told the bar was closing even though there were 20 people still in there buying drinks and as soon as she said that one girl started vacuuming right where we were standing and hitting the back of our legs while doing so. It wasn't the fact that they wanted to close the bar early it was the fact that they were so rude about it.

I ate here once while staying at the Hilton. The wings were good, the service from the young lady at the bar wasn't. Not pleasant at all if you don't tip for your To Go Order☹️

Food for thought Our waitress, the gal with two broken middle fingers was very sweet. The hostess, a braun looking fellow was very serious and appeared on edge for whatever reason. The seating was very comfortable with lots of good seating arrangements. The burgers tasted good (I ordered medium rare and got medium well). The wings were well below average, flavors were average with a soggy texture when I requested extra crispy. The french fries tasted good and were actually seasoned. The fried shrimp appetizer was average. The cocktails were good. That being said, I know my body and the stomach upset hours after eating the food which led to dramatic and ongoing gurgling and then explosive diarrhea 8 hrs after consumption (lasting 40min!!) This leads me to suspect the meat we were sold was not good to eat or was not cooked in a sanitary environment.

Meh... the blue crab shrimp dip was a bit “fishy”, which means the seafood wasn’t fresh. 2.5 - the service wasn’t WOW and the food was just “OK”, conveniently attached to the HGI where I’m staying 🤷🏾‍♂️. On a positive note, the drinks were strong!

(All visits were at the East Greenbush location next to the movie theater) Went opening day and had terrible service with tables around us coming and going. Went two more times and it was decent. Just left there tonight, wings were good. The main course was terrible. My girlfriend got the wrong veggies (never told till we mentioned it that they ran out), and both of our smashed potatos were ice cold. We were looking forward to this night out and a big desert for teacher appreciation day. Guess what we didn't have. Off to Stewarts for desert. With 2/4 experiences within 1 year I don't think we'll be coming back.

The food is grade A, but the service was absolutely horrible and the manager needs to retrain his or her staff immediately. The staff was extremely rude and blatantly insulted me in front of half a dozen of my colleagues because of HER own mistake. I have never seen or experienced anything like this before and that will be the first and last time I ever visit. Please for the love of god make sure your staff are properly trained.

I don't understand how our order was separate from the rest of the party. Everyone's food was cold by the time it made it to the table, some orders weren't correct. We were told it would be 10 minutes and half an hour later still no food. Very disappointed. Highly do not recommend. 2 hours later no food or anything correct

As I write this i’m sitting in the restaurant in East Greenbush about to have dinner. First we had to ask for napkins to wipe our seat off because there was crumbs of food left on the seat. The place is filthy, there is trash under every empty table and staff are just standing around. I wish I could post the pictures. We have been here 25mins and there are only 6 tables occupied so not busy at all. Really disappointed .

After we waited over an hour to receive our food, my friends and I dug in hoping for a decent Sunday meal. We were hit with food that tasted like it was made in an easy bake oven. We ate as much as we could stomach before the onset of food poisoning came into effect...the waitress was nice though.

Website says they open at 1130am on Fridays. Were across the street at the hospital since 10am and waited for them to open. We confirmed with the staff who order here regularly that they are in fact open. I called 3 times over 15 minute span, no answer. I went online to order, built our cart, and try to checkout. The website crashes and the order is lost and im unsure if ive been charged. I call a 4th time, its now 1150. No answer. This must be why all of the other recovery rooms in the area are closing for good. We used to frequent this place years ago and the food was good. Now its impossible to get, so hard to say how it would have been, but no food might as well be bad food. We will never consider them an option going forward.

Recover room lives up to it's name as my friends and I felt the need to head to one after our experience. We arrived on Sunday after 1:00 to a place that looked closed that was dreadfully understaffed with a malcontent waitress and an excruciating wait for our meals. Our meals were a simple order that felt incredibly rushed through. As I write we still haven't received our half nacho appetizer now that we are done with our main courses. The wings seemed like they were left over from a Superbowl party, taking our of the fridge and microwaved, perfectly tough and dry. A good portion of our food went unfinished. We'll have to see what happens with the nachos and what sort of debacle the bill will likely be.

Called to place an order was place on hold for 10 minutes, nobody return to the phone to say anything. Stayed holding and then they hung the phone up (disconnected). Call back no answer, called back again the machine came on. Saying no one can take my call, call back. That's all it take for me.... Never again!!!!!

Ordered a salmon salad and a cheeseburger takeout today. Service was painfully slow, and the burger was one of the worst I have had in years. Burned on the outside, dry and tasteless inside. Will not be visiting again. Wasted $30,00 and 45 minutes.

The service is terrible. My boyfriend and I have been here about two hours, our waiter has stopped to ask about our meal once. Has not refilled our drinks at all. I asked the hostess where I could get a dessert menu and she dismissed me, briefly telling me I could ask my server, who is nowhere to be found. She then proceeded to walk away while I was mid sentence. The food was subpar. I will not return to this location.

Ordered a well done Home Run burger...got a pink on one side and almost raw on the other side burger served to me. I asked waitress to refund me a couple dollars on the meal. She said the manger told her that I ate too much that I wouldn't get a refund. I wasn't asking for a full refund!! Also one person at our table got a menu with food stuck inside of it....really gross!!

Extremely dissappointed in the service and food. Was brought out to dinner by my loved ones after the birth of my son. My drink was never filled not once unless I begged for it and still waited and after waiting an hour for our food (and drinks, just a soda and water mind you) our food was cold, my burger was undercooked, french fries were cold from sittong out for god knows how long, my sister In law's chicken strips were freezing and dlooked like someone had bitten into it and my husband's chicken wings were undercooked. The manager did waive our meal because of all the problems but we didnt touch our meals and went across the street and ate at the Choices Cafe inside Albany Med which was delicious.

Awful service unless you are a regular. Had to ask for a fork for my salad 3 times after it was delivered. Waitress is so busy being impressed with her football accessories that serving customers is just an interruption. Food is ok if, like me, you are here bc your father is in surgery, but far from tasty.

Went in for a quick lunch Saturday, one cook called out, which happens. After 1.5 hours we got our food. The food was awful, the bar tender was awful and unprofessional. Saying she had a whopping 8 customers at the bar, that’s why she was trying her best. As someone who was a bartender/waitress for many years, it was a very poor show. After 1.5 hours we were missing a meal that never got delivered, when I walked to the bar tender I got straight attitude rude and told to go sit down. The manager comped part of our bill and was very nice. The only waiter in the place was very young, but very good and did his best. Don’t know that I would go back… disappointing!

I picked up takeout from this restaurant and was very disappointed. I paid $15 for chicken tacos which is fine given I expected to have at least 3-4 tacos with the meal. I only received 2 tacos paying $7.50 for each taco that we’re not filled up at all (Taco Bell puts more in my tacos). I called and told them that I only got 2 tacos expecting that it was a mistake from the kitchen and they told me that was how it is… I also got chicken nachos and it was not a huge portion for 17 dollar nachos. Very disappointed for the very steep prices and not great portions. So if you are very hungry definitely do not come here.

Wow - what an epic disaster. We met some friends who were staying at the attached hotel for dinner. There was a total of 8 of us, 4 adults and 4 kids. We waited about an hour for our food, which for those of you with kids know, is an eternity at a restaurant. When the food finally did come out, it came in 3 batches, separated by about 15 minutes. Unfortunately it wasn't even all the kids meals that came out first. During that hour long wait, even after a complaint to the host about the wait, the waitress avoided eye contact and barely stopped in. The adults were never offered additional drinks, even though our glasses were empty about halfway through. 3 of the 4 kids were given very large (~20 ounce) glasses without lids for their drinks, which, yes of course was spilled. One of the adult meals didn't come with the expected sides, but it wasn't worth the trouble since we were just trying to get the kids fed and out the door. I eat here sometimes. Not the most urban friendly location. The food was really good 3 out of four times but was extremely expensive. I just came back from eating here 2 nights ago and this was my fouth time obv! The nachos had so little meat on them and no veggies no guacamole no sour cream no salsa just chips and they sprinkled a bit of pulled pork and a couple lettuce stripes on top...when I asked for more toppings the bartender brought out the smallest amount of pico cut up MICROSCOPICALLY! I mean I had to put my glasses on to see the damn tomatoes! They were MICROSCOPIC! I was like got damnnnn these are unprecedented times we livin in!...I eat at home alot but I have an eating disorder Im battling almost everyday...and really is such a fight for me to eat sometimes! So really I was seeking a bit of relief from that daily fight. I was very sad to come here and spend 16 dollars on tortilla chips...I went home really disturbed by it. But happy to put something in my stomach...and youre right I could've gone to McDonald's or panera...but I really dint know they would basically just give me a plate of chips

Used to love coming here but the last few times have been a miss. Was served hair in our food before, service isn’t always the greatest. Last night I was served raw chicken, service was a little better than usual but still not amazing considering what I was served. Still charged for the rest of our drinks and the chef didn’t even bother to come out. The waitress apologized which I appreciated but the kitchen staff just stared as us from the back. Definitely won’t be visiting this location again.

Always love Caribbean Nachos, Burger, and a couple beers when in area. One of the best places I have found in upstate NY. Always make it a point to go there when passing through area or if I have to go to Albany.***edit***since reopening since Covid* not impressed. Seems like a new place now and not as good. Burger tasted like something frozen from freezer section with just 2 slices of bacon and my side of potatoes was maybe 5 bites. For the money charged should be better. Oh well...R.I.P. to a once great place. I try not to be angry with reviews unless outright disrespected. I will say staff was polite and helpful. When you have been in hospital with a family member and place across street named "recovery room" seems like an oasis in sad times, it really sucks to leave hungry and let down on food quality. I miss the pre-covid place.
