A very filling rice platter for $12. Compared to other halal places like Albany Halal grill, the plate didn’t feel as “clean” but the flavors definitely make up for its short comings. The green sauce is fantastic so get extra over the chicken lamb combo.

I ordered the wings with fries and the chicken was undercooked and 90% fat. The fries were good, I guess, but very disappointed overall. DO BETTER!

Not sure why this location employs staff like this. We had a Buy One Get One Uber order but were charged full price. When we asked in person, the employees were rude, careless, and completely dismissive, repeatedly telling us they “don’t care” and to talk to Uber. Other locations are great, but this store consistently has issues with unprofessional staff. Very disappointing.

The worst, tasteless and stale mix over rice Shah’s I’ve ever eaten is definitely far from the taste of Long Island New York. Those who want to throw their money away can go directly to this address…

Shah’s Halal has been my go to for chicken over rice, but I had such a disappointing experience at this location. The chicken was not only extremely dry but also not fully cooked through, which made it unpleasant and concerning to eat. On top of that, the beans were straight from the can and not even strained properly, leaving them watery and unappetizing. For the price they charged ($13 a platter!!!), the food quality just wasn’t there. Definitely not worth it and I wouldn’t go back here.
