I have been to 2 locations and both times, I have ordered the hibachi steak dinner and it is fabulous. On my next visit, I will order the seafood combo to see if it is just as good.

Large portions, with a choice of flavors (garlic, Old Bay, lemon pepper, etc.) and level of heat. Service was slow, but they were understaffed that night. We will return for another meal.

Really delicious! I got seafood delivered and it was still super hot and fresh tasting. This might seem like a minor thing, but I was especially impressed that the corn tasted almost like fresh summer corn in January. Clearly they are using quality ingredients, and the prices seemed very fair.

Cool ambience, all the meats from our 4 hibachi meals were a little overcooked but I really enjoyed the shrimp and the zucchini in the vegetable medley. For the price I'm surprised that the we only got little plastic spoons and forks. However each hibachi meal can feed 2 people. The fruit teas were good. The same 4 songs play over and over so get ready for that. Staff doesn't bug you much while you eat and they even have some alcoholic drinks.

Love their food!!! My whole family loves their food! We mainly order takeout but we've dined in as well. My favorite is the fried shrimp with their special sauce and the cajun fried rice with chicken and shrimp but I order without the chicken because I'm a pescatarian. My husband and stepson love that as well but they especially love the seafood bag!!! Definitely our favorite seafood spot!

I ordered the 1 pound snow crab legs meal, and I was stunned at how delicious it was! That's the best meal I've had anywhere in years! The crab legs come in a steamy delicious broth with corn on the cob, potatoes, and hard boiled egg all soaking up the amazing broth. Amazing! You have a customer forever! Thank you!

I went there today for lunch and ordered the Crawfish....Unbelievably delicious!!!!! An amazing amount of food and the Lemon Pepper Crawfish were out of this world!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVED. I also ordered a Thai boba tea I like that they had a good selection of teas and different style boba's. I gave four stars due to the fact that the seafood was a little overcooked the lobster tail due to being overcooked with super tough. Along with the clams and shrimp as well.

The Troy location has a better selection of rice styles. Other than that 4star quality with their seafood frying.

Absolutely delicious Cajun fried rice. Man I ate that up!!! Love it. The butterfly shrimp was amazing as well. Crispy, light, and delicious. Everything was packaged well and they gave me all the sauces I asked for. The bag was nice too. I didn't really like the lemon pepper wings. They were tough and hard. I think they were old. I'll be ordering again.

Mediocre in flavor, experience and ambiance. If you're a fan of The Boil Shack (like I am), this place will feel second class in comparison. Which would explain why the price is significantly lower.

So I had to check it out since I was not impressed with the Schenectady location and it's the same for the Albany location. Troy location sauce is pretty good. the shrimp was cooked perfectly. the corn on the cobb was horrible I could tell that it was frozen corn on the cobb.

Probably my fault for ordering everything but seafood from a seafood place, but the foods pretty average. Would have given it 4 stars but they're attempt at passing off fried chicken as "bonton chicken" is offensive. If you have ever had Bonton chicken or korean fried chicken, this ain't it.

Was pretty good. Make sure you make your order correct. Only ordered 1 lobster tail....waiter misunderstood and gave us 2 in a build your own....was charged and would do anything about it. But we kept it the way it was and it was good. Don't recommend the bubble tea thai flavor. Didn't taste very good.

I am a fan of Union. I live near Troy so have always went to their location. Today I figured to try Albany's location. I am extremely unimpressed and disappointed. Troy takes it home in every aspect. Albany really needs to mirror Troy in products and measurements. The biggest difference is the flavor. Albany tastes like oil where Troy is burning your tongue (in a great way). Albany's clams are ginormous, rubbery, slimy, tasteless. I am afraid to try anything else from Albany.

(Also why have plastic cups and not plastic straws?) The food: I ordered the “Get your hands dirty” snow crabs, with extra corn and sausage with garlic butter sauce. Personally I felt the snow crab portion was skimpy. The potatoes/sausages were sufficient. The corn was a nice size- they’re bigger than the nibblets-mini corn. The garlic sauce was ok. Not as flavorful as I would have expected. They should add more seasoning. The service: It wasn’t too busy for a Friday night but they did have a few people online for takeout. During my visit here.. my waitress stopped serving my table half way through my dinner… after 20 minutes another waitress came and asked if we were ok. Thankfully because I was thirsty from that bland garlic sauce. When it’s time to go my waitress then tells me to go pay upfront she’s busy. After which the manager who just finished arguing with my waitress asked another employee to cash us out. Even though she’s standing there and just finished having an entire conversation with another customer. The service here is poor. The food is meh. Personally I think it’s the same as going to boil shack. Not worth my money at all.

We ate here last week and complained to our server that the egg fried rice was not good and inedible , because it was, they argued with us and said no one ever complained about the rice before???? Like ok??? They refused to take the rice off our bill and after arguing with us for 15 minutes they finally agreed to give us a food item of the same cost. It’s very pathetic on managements end to argue with customers and any business that cannot afford to take a $10 charge off of someone’s bill isn’t somewhere I’d trust eating sea food from. I would have been happy to get over the rice being disgusting, corn is clearly frozen and sauce is way too salty, but unprofessional management arguing with (surprise surprise) black customers over 10 dollars is just sad

NEVER EAT HERE!!! Disastrous service!!! Placed food order through the websites online ordering funnel and received an order confirmation number along with pick up time of food, once my girlfriend and I arrived to pick up at given time we were told by woman server who also deemed herself as “the manager/Co-Owner of the establishment” that she was unable to find our order. After multiple cues of ignoring our presences were told that they have no information of our order or our was not ready and to continue to wait after already waiting a half an hour after the scheduled pick up time so after being completely frustrated we continued to do just that… WAIT. My girlfriend asks the “continuously rude” server one last time “is there idea how much longer until our food is ready?” because now it’s been 40mins since we arrived not to mention we had our 1 year old daughter with us and it now almost 8pm and the server becomes even more rude and now irate with us stating that we could leave and that we didn’t have to order anything with them but unfortunately we did and paid now wishing that we hadn’t because of this service. We eventually leave without the additional waited for items and half our order due to the unprofessionalism of the server who now seemed like she wanted to assault my girlfriend for asking simple questions. We support local businesses all the time but after this treatment WE WILL NEVER ORDER nor REFER ANYONE to this establishment again.

While waiting for my to go order I was ignored then shouted at for trying to use the restroom (which could have been done at home had I not been there 20 minutes) I will not waste my time or money with them again. First visit: don't make the mistake I made and Google Union Seafood near me, you might get the Union Seafood in Schenectady. I ordered the Thursday special, but the Albany Union Seafood location has completely different specials.I was expecting snow crab and shrimp, but this location has green mussels and shrimp for the Thursday special. I ordered some snow crab after the confusion, so this review is based on what I ate, I am not docking any points due to my mistake. There was only 1 server, and this poor girl was running around trying to take orders, make drinks, etc. I ordered a long island, and a lychee tea with boba. Lychee tea was good, not overly sweet. The long island was awful though, WAY too much carbonation, and tiny. Not a 1 oz serving of 5 liquors splash of cola and sour mix. A drop of liquors with lots of soda, avoid this. The food was ok. Crab legs were thin and missing legs from the clusters. Mussels were very bearded, sucking them from the shell is like kissing a lumberjack. Not my thing, but maybe your into that. Shrimp were well cleaned, shell on, good flavor (and I find shrimp boring, so that's why this rating is so high). Corn was surprisingly good, potatoes were hard as rocks. The overall boil flavors were good. Place had Halloween specials up in February, hand written food options all over except the menu. Old booths with cracked seats. It's ok, would come again if craving shrimp.

Let me first say, I have come to this restaurant several times and have never had an issue with the food or service until yesterday 1/9/24. I placed an online order for pick up. I ordered the Hibachi Salmon and Beef. The salmon was over cooked, and had a very fishy taste to it ( I know that sounds strange the fish taste fishy but the salmon just tasted bad) I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with who I assumed to be a manager. he apologized for the mishap with the salmon and guaranteed me that I could come in the next day to get a replacement salmon since I was at work and unable to get back to the restaurant that day. when I called the restaurant today (1/10/24), I asked them if I could order something of equal or lessor value as replacement for the salmon since I didn't care for it. I asked for 6 chicken wings lunch combo ( $11.00 value) I would pay the difference for the fries. I was told no we can give you a 10% discount. umm that's only $2 dollars. I paid $20 for my meal yesterday. I was then asked to bring in the salmon from yesterday. I had already tossed it out in the garbage yesterday. Had I known they wanted to CSI the salmon I would have kept it. he then accused me of possibly eating the salmon. LOL! I have much better things to do than try to con you out of a piece of salmon. It just didn't seem fair to me. 3 separate people got on the phone and I ended the call but not before letting them know how displeased I am with todays service and I will not return to the restaurant. I had no intentions of trying to get over on anyone, I just wanted to replace my food with something else from the menu. offering me $2.00 off salmon that probably has a value of at least $6-$8 is insane to me. also, I am not sure of the value of the salmon because when I asked 3 times, I didn't get a clear answer. Its unfortunate.

please DO NOT come here if you want good customer service. i had came here with friends and two of us ordered a seafood boil and one a fried rice. one, the quality of the seafood boils were trash. a majority of the crab legs had no meat in it at all. second the fried rice was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, it literally tasted like it was drowned in dirty oil. literally only took two bites and left it there because it was so nasty. our “server” also never came around to check how we were doing or to check how the food was, she literally just came and dropped off our checks. we told her we didn’t want to pay for the fried rice because we didn’t like it nor did we eat it and she went to go get the manager. the manager approaches us with an attitude and tells us off the bat that we have to pay for it, didnt even try to compensate or offer a solution. we ourselves are servers and know what good customer service is and how to cater to customers, which is what they DIDNT DO. we literally were going back and forth with the manager because she refused to take it off our bill. then the server has the AUDACITY to lie and say that she came and checked on us and gave the LAME excuse that we were talking so THATS why she didn’t come ask us. she didn’t come up to our table once. after arguing with the manager and telling her we’re not paying for it point blank period she gave us more of an attitude and told us that we cannot come back ever, which is hilarious because we weren’t planning to ever again. and it’s also hilarious because they’re mad at the customers for their own doing. if you don’t know how to deal with customers, don’t have a business. don’t recommend ever coming here. if i could give this place 0 stars i would

THE LADY TOLD ME THAT WAS MY PROBLEM AND DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY. This place was horrible! The didn't have king crab legs so I got nothing. I actually walked to Popeye's and brought it back there and ate it 🤣My daughter threw up everything within 15 minutes of leaving. We were the only customers there and still couldn't get decent service. The waitress was too busy mingling with family members in the back. The quality of the food wasn't even worth the one star I gave it. My mother felt like she wasted her money. Do not go here. Go visit The Mighty Crab in Latham. Thank me later!

please DO NOT come here if you want good customer service. i had came here with friends and two of us ordered a seafood boil and one a fried rice. one, the quality of the seafood boils were trash. a majority of the crab legs had no meat in it at all. second the fried rice was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, it literally tasted like it was drowned in dirty oil. literally only took two bites and left it there because it was so nasty. our “server” also never came around to check how we were doing or to check how the food was, she literally just came and dropped off our checks. we told her we didn’t want to pay for the fried rice because we didn’t like it nor did we eat it and she went to go get the manager. the manager approaches us with an attitude and tells us off the bat that we have to pay for it, didnt even try to compensate or offer a solution. we ourselves are servers and know what good customer service is and how to cater to customers, which is what they DIDNT DO. we literally were going back and forth with the manager because she refused to take it off our bill. then the server has the AUDACITY to lie and say that she came and checked on us and gave the LAME excuse that we were talking so THATS why she didn’t come ask us. she didn’t come up to our table once. after arguing with the manager and telling her we’re not paying for it point blank period she gave us more of an attitude and told us that we cannot come back ever, which is hilarious because we weren’t planning to ever again. and it’s also hilarious because they’re mad at the customers for their own doing. if you don’t know how to deal with customers, don’t have a business. don’t recommend ever coming here. if i could give this place 0 stars i would
