Woah, what a cozy hole in wall!!! The staff were very nice and the food was awesome. Very nice atmosphere! If you're in Cohoes definitely worth a stop. They're also on grub hub and deliver.

Reviews look pretty good so I figured I would give it a shot. Everything that my expectations if you really enjoy Sushi you need to check this place out and is very clean and the food they prepare you as fresh made-to-order you can't judge a book by it's cover they crank out some good food out of that kitchen stop in and hang out for a few minutes or you can get it to go nice atmosphere and vibe

I really enjoy them, they make really yummy, fresh sushi. It's best to do the lunch special, it's a great deal. My only gripe is I wish they delivered 😂

Yuan is always a solid choice for a quick meal or takeout. Delivery has always been speedy! The hibachi choices are a family favorite.

Seated immediately upon entering and asked what we were drinking. There was no one else seated in the place which I found odd being that it’s a Thursday evening at 6pm. Got our drinks within mins and then the waitress was off giggling on her cell phone. Eventually she took our order. A container of fried noodles was placed on the table with duck sauce which is complimentary. I’ve had fried noodles before so I know what they “should” taste like. These were stale as if they sat around for a few days in an open container. Not good. Pushed them aside. I didn’t want to say anything to the waitress regarding the noodles being stale until our food was in front of us. Our order is eventually taken and the food was done and on our table within 10 mins of ordering. We ordered 2 chef specials and 1 À la carte. Upon trying the chicken with mixed vegetables, there was no taste/bland and the little bit of veggies I did receive were more mushy than Al Dante. The white rice that came with the meal was actually good. The 2nd order was sesame chicken. I immediately can tell that’s it is way overcooked/hard just by looking at it. I tried it and yep hard as can be. This also had a very sweet taste. I found this to be unusual because sesame chicken is not sweet. General Tso is sweet to taste. Rice with this meal was good. We ordered a side of house lo mein which was actually the hit of the meals. Served pipping hot and good tasting with beef, shrimp, chicken and some veggies. Maybe there was two different chefs cooking the meals tonight? How can two meals be cooked badly and one be very good. I don’t know if the service we received this evening was a fluke because prior visits were pleasing. I do hope for their survival, they straighten out whatever the issue was tonight as this was once a very good place to eat at. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Yuans.

I really have nothing negative to say about this place. Our sushi was decent and the service was good. There was just no wow factor here. Three of us shared the Love boat ,pictured.

I came here because of recommendations. While most recommendations are for the sushi part of it...I don't do sushi personally. I wanted a delicious "normal" chinese meal. I ordered the general tsaos. It was TERRIBLE and im really disappointed bc this establishment has high reviews. Flavor was good, spice perfect, but the smaller chicken pieces were dried and chewey and were, basically, just breading with no meat at all. Bigger pieces, thankfully, had some meat (but beware bc there's barely any "bigger" pieces in there). Do NOT waste your time going here. I threw it all away, it simply was not worth eating

I ordered 2 steak hibachi dinners (approx 22$each) and a dragon roll. The eel sauce on the dragon roll seemed watered down and was flavorless. Roll was alright. The steak hibachi dinners were unacceptable (see photo). The "steak" was more like a thin slice of beef they reheated in the microwave. It was flavorless and definitely wasn't cooked on a hibachi grill. The vegetables under it were steamed, again no flavor and they definitely were not cooked on a hibachi grill. There were no dipping sauces you typically get with hibachi and the rice wasn't even fried along with the portion size being laughable for a dinner order. For 22$ I felt I was ripped off. Don't order hibachi from here, you'll be disappointed.

I ordered the salmon roll for takeout from here on 12/26 both me and my fiance got food poisoning after. There is nothing else we could have eaten that could cause the symptoms and I went to the doctor to confirm I had it.
