Very very nice place with super fresh food ! This location in Williamsburg is super good if you want an affordable sushi experience ! The chef and staff are super kind and friendly ! I definitely recommend it for lunch or dinner Thanks for the warm welcome, I’ll be back
What an amazing experience! Their happy hour menu is so robust. The lobster hand roll is a healthy portion and so delicious, the hot & spicy crab is a must try! Thank you chefs, you’re both so hospitable and friendly. I noticed you take your time explaining items on the menu to other guests and that’s the kind of service that makes a person become a local. Can’t wait to be back with friends!
I ordered online and picked up to go. The packing was so neat and cute! I had a big order for lunch and the nice gentleman at the Togo counter let me know about their rewards program!!! I earned enough points to get a drink. The cold green tea was perfect with my meal. I had a really positive experience! Would recommend ☺️
This place is the bomb! It’s so worth the price because they really stuff your rolls and the quality is high! The sushi chef is so sweet and talkative! You can tell he loves his job. Juan the manager is such a great time too. Love a restart with staff who love what they do. Recommend eating here and grabbing the lunch special but it’s dine in only. Yellowtail nigiri is just chefs kiss!
Experience an unforgettable culinary journey at Bondi Sushi. Their robust menu, punctuated by fantastic specials, offers a wide array of delicious options. The talented chefs add a special touch when you sit at the bar. The restaurant's stunning interior enhances the dining experience, and their drink selection is just as delightful as the food. The attentive staff excel in providing personalized recommendations. Don't miss out, it's truly spectacular!
LUNCH SPOT: 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Really enjoyed this spot, mostly unexpected for a quick lunch trip. Waiter and Sushi chef were top of the line and supported us through the menu. We ended up getting Saki on tap (fantastic) whole will with large lunch special and 2 carafe of Saki (less than 110 total 2 people) we did the 2x 40 lunch special unsure how much the saki was but we had A LOOOT! Over all 5 stars was super cute. Delicious and communal atmosphere Deff great for couples, singles and small parties. Deff run to this location and give it a try!!!
I love everything about this place. Delicious food prepared skillfully in front of you, lovely sake on tap, our server David made us feel very welcome. The whole bar-like layout of the place is very inviting. You’ll be comfy to come by yourself or with someone.
First time at this location, but I am an avid lover of Bondi Flatiron. It's always surprising to see they're not packed to the brim but I'm thankful for it. Walked in at 7 and was seated immediately. The chef was attentive, the hostess was very welcoming, and the experience was delightful. The omakase was delicious as always. We will definitely return!
Really fresh, clean sushi, expertly made. We did a few of the nigiris, the king salmon and the scallop were fantastic. Spicy edamame was also very good. Decent sake menu. Large sushi counter.
Amazing food, even better service. Loved having dinner at Bondi, the chef and waiter were so nice and ensured I was enjoying it at all times. They also offered me complimentary drinks & dessert. I will be back!
one of my favorite handroll / omakase places i’ve visited so far. the service at the williamsburg location is amazing - each time i feel so welcomed and everyone who works there is so nice. plus the music is always great. the sushi is outstanding.
Quiet, clean and ultimately welcoming! I was very pleased when I first stepped in greeted with a calming navy blue interior. Very minimalist design informs and compliments the type of experience one could expect from this sushi bar. Cocktails were simple and well executed with an emphasis on Japanese ingredients and citrus to complement their fresh hand rolls. Food was spectacular small bites. I left feeling both satisfied and with the thoughts of when I wanted to come back and try out more of the menu. Would highly recommend if you want a light dinner and a cool hang! EDIT: They also brought birthday cake! Dessert was as great as the sushi

Always have the best time when we come here! Quick service, extremely welcoming and kind staff (our server was so kind and took time to chat with us throughout the night) and love literally everything on the menu

Really good quality and sophisticated ingredients, the crispy rice was spot on and all seafood was super fresh and delicious. The dessert, a yuzu crème brûlée (which the owner so kindly offered to us) was literally to die for and the server was kind and friendly. The restaurant is also cute, I really like eating at the counter while watching the chefs prepping food. I give 4 stars because the service was ultimately a bit slow even though there weren’t many people and the nigiri rice was not assembled correctly, it kept falling off every time we lift it with our chopsticks. All in all, a very pleasant experience and quite tasty meal.
juan was so good to us with the menu, we like how fresh everything was!
Closer to 4.5 stars. Stopped by for takeout, which is around the back of the restaurant. Got the unagi bowl and the $5 lobster maki roll special. The quality is really good, loved the pickles in the bowl. The portion is not too big and it's a bit on the pricier side when you compare to other takeout places but the quality is definitely there. The restaurant had good vibes and looked really cute. I also liked the packaging of the takeout. I'll be returning to try their omakase!
It’s good sushi. Overpriced for what you get but it is delicious. I got the crispy rice with truffles & avo - really good flavor. The texture was off like the crispy rice was not crispy which makes me think it wasn’t fresh perhaps. It’s also really small. It’s cute but for $12 for literally 4 lil baby crispy rices. I also got the blue crab roll. Again, delicious but literally just blue crab in there. Worth a try but I can’t say I’d choose this over some more fresh options in the neighborhood.

The food is good, service is good but it isn't as great of a deal as made out to be. The rolls are really small, the variety is very limited and we ended up leaving a bit hungry. We sat outside and the food did take a while to get. seems like they dont really service the outdoor area much. They could really change that up, music even faint low music would be nice there too.

I recently visited a newly opened restaurant in Williamsburg. The main area of the restaurant serves as an omakase bar, while the back entrance is designated for takeout, offering a larger menu with cut rolls and more. The interior has a modern and high-end ambiance. Despite the restaurant's aim to provide a "lower cost" omakase experience, I found it quite disappointing. I opted for the lunch menu, which started at $26 and included one appetizer, two pieces of nigiri, and one hand roll. However, considering the portion sizes, it felt like a kids' meal rather than a practical lunch option, totaling $32 for a miso soup, two nigiri pieces, and three bites of a hand roll. Other lunch options were priced at $45 and above, offering slightly more variety. Comparatively, it's possible to find top-notch omakase experiences priced at $30, which include 7-9 pieces of fish, or even 10+ pieces for $40. Thus, I found the lunch menu to be excessively expensive for a normal-sized meal, even with the additional salmon appetizer I ordered due to hunger. Regarding the food itself, the miso soup ($6) was disappointingly watery and lacked flavor. For its price, I expected a more robust taste and perhaps the addition of flavorful tofu or seaweed. On the positive side, the nigiri I had was fresh and above average, and I appreciated being able to try different varieties. Unfortunately, the tuna hand roll was served extremely cold, almost frozen, which detracted from the freshness and overall enjoyment. The bar feel allows for watching the chef make the sushi but I don’t see the appeal of unwrapping fish from small plastic sacks. Lastly, during the payment process, I encountered an unexpected situation. As I tapped my card on the mobile Toast device and the tip screen appeared, I reached to hold the device so that I could conveniently select and sign. For the first time, my attempt was met with force from the waitress attempting to take control of the device, scrutinizing my tip selection. I felt pressured and uncomfortable, as the staff seemed overly focused on the tip percentage rather than the overall dining experience. This interaction soured my overall mild experience.

Twice I ordered in the same week, and twice my order arrived incomplete. This is simply unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding ordering from them — they are not professional at all, and on top of that they offer no solution when there is a problem. For the price they charge, it’s honestly a scandal.
The food is good, and the service is mostly good as well. The sushi chefs are very friendly, and the waiters are generally nice, except for one person. I believe his name is Manny. He was rude and inattentive. I’m not sure if it was just me, but it felt like he was treating me poorly. And I have no idea why since there was no interaction except he came over to take my order. He almost forgot my drink order also. Then, he brought me the check without me asking for it. The restaurant was nearly empty in the late afternoon, with only one other customer, so there was no reason to rush me out. I spent almost $100 just for myself, I think it’s reasonable to expect a little time to finish my drink in peace. It was a bad dinning experience. Will not go back there if he’s still working there.
