Amazing speciality coffee bar. I would highly recommend the coffee here if you are in the area.
This is my favourite coffee shop in the entire world. I don’t even drink coffee anymore (health reasons) but I always give in when I’m in town and pass by this store. Their cold brew with oat milk is legendary. If you’re a coffee at home kind of person you must try the Bedford blend.
The staff were friendly and super nice. A little crowded but not a complaint! I wasn't expecting the place to be so packed. But it has a lovely cozy atmosphere, the coffee is great and the people are wonderful. I'll definitely be returning when I need coffee!
Amazing cup of coffee here! They also sell great beans.
Possibly one of the best Vanilla Chai Lattes I’ve ever had. great little spice to it and they make their cookies fresh every morning! Also really great. I mean, it was so good I had to write a review so that should say a lot!!
The coffee here was delicious. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and a great outdoor setup out front of the store right in the heart of Williamsburg. I bought some coffee beans to take home and they smell great😁. It was also a superb touch that most of the space in the store is actually a great little shop to browse— mugs, t-shirts, hats, decorative items, coffee makers etc... Loved the vibe here.
This coffee shop was really cool! Great hot chocolate and great decor. There’s a lot of seating indoors and outdoors. It was pretty crowded and a bit loud on the Sunday morning I was there, but the outdoor area is covered so that was the perfect spot. Everyone was very friendly and helpful!
Simultaneously the most and least pretentious place I’ve ever been. Would love to see them represent Brooklyn in a cage match against Coava in Portland. Staff was superb. I have a broken hand and the barista seemed to be emitting genuine sincerity in offering to carry my cortado to my chair.
My favorite coffee shop in Williamsburg. They have amazing pour over options and nice food. Tons of space, comfy couches, and great staff.
The sweet potato toast with avocado and mozzarella, topped with a salsa verde, served on a multigrain bread and with a side of arugula, is absolutely divine! And at $7.95 great value for money. Everything I’ve eaten here has been delicious, and the coffee is outstanding. One of my favorite coffee shops in New York City.
My go-to coffee shop, hands down the best in North Williamsburg. The coffee itself is the key ingedient for this success, along with the lively vibe and style of the space. The toasts/sandwiches are suprisingly delicious - try the avocado toast or the smoked salmon sandwich. No wifi on the weekends and lack of plugs might be a bummer for some, but on the other hand, it allows for customer turnover - in an already busy place. If you want to sit, come early. Staff is fine, not overly friendly, nor rude, but given I get coffee 4 times a week there, I expected a better connection. Give it a shot, it’s definitely worth it.
Came with friends for coffee while it was raining. The place was packed, but despite this it still felt cozy and service was reasonably fast. They roast their beans in the back, which is cool to see as you're ordering. The coffee is great, and the baked goods were quite good as well. I'd ordered an Ethiopian pour over, and they did it right there. The coffee hit all the right notes, with a distinct body and berry undertones.
Love this place! I have tried a lot of coffee places and this one is in the top of my list, due the quality of their products, the different options (classics, old brew, nitro...) and the place itself that result beautiful for me. You can see how they process the grains, the coffee lab and the area ti seat is big and confortable. Also, if you prefer to enjoy a nice weather, you can have a seat outside in the window of the place and meet people. More places/restaurants recommended: instagram @cuisinediaries
The atmosphere it's really modern and has it style. The color palette it's wood and white. It's a great place to chill on a hot day after walking around the neighborhood. The coffee was awesome. They roast the coffee beans on site and make their own brand. I would recommend it to coffee lovers.
We’ve been frequenting Tobys for quite some time and they never disappoint. They have a number of locations in NYC but our favorite is the Brooklyn location. Presentation is always on point, but the most important part is the coffee and Tobys does a great job with their in-house roasting. Third Wave all the way from the notes to the vibe and the knowledgeable but also friendly Baristas. This last visit the pour over presentation was so well done with a tasting note card... very well done.
The staff were really friendly despite it being really hectic and busy! Yes sometimes there’s old dishes on the tables but so many people are coming through- they’re doing their best! The coffee was amazing and the breakfast sandwich as well (I was sad they’d sold out of most pastries but that was my fault for coming late). Totally will be back :)
Really nice roaster. I got a pour over of the Ethiopian Suke Quto and it was really tasty. They always have something good going.
The vegan peanut butter cookie here is secretly one of the best cookies in Williamsburg by far. (I should know.) Great dirty chai latte. Great breakfast burrito. Lovely espresso. Staff is chill, yet attentive. Atmosphere little crowded but i don’t blame people for wanting to be here. At least it’s a nice asuma crowd. And their volume doesn’t impair the service level at all. Super solid. And consistent.
I never been to the actual physical location. This review is for their packaged coffee brand. I don't know anything about coffee and for years just been having either black coffee or a latte/cappucinno once awhile. Recently started using an Italian Moka pot "Bialetti" to make my coffee and came across this packaged coffee by Partners Coffee. Decided to give it a try. Long story short, best coffee I ever tasted. But most importantly, I felt great. Right off the bat I am more alert, productive, and optimistic. My mood is good amidst the chaotic running around in Manhattan. Soo good that I decided to check out their website to order more. Sadly the one I had "Brazil Frutado - dark chocolate, cherry and almond" is a seasonal coffee release. I will try others.
My go to coffee shop in Williamsburg! Hip and cool, lots of seating inside and outside. The coffee is excellent, roasted in-store, the food menu could be a little more creative but overall top-quality place. Can get crowded when yoga, pilates, crossfit classes end close by. Love the option of ordering online and collecting coffee when ready.
Stopped by Partners Coffee — Cafe & Roastery for the first time and had a great experience! The original shop’s ambiance is welcoming and stylish. I ordered a drip coffee and an iced latte. The drip coffee was rich and full-bodied, and the iced latte was smooth and refreshing. A fantastic place for quality coffee in a cozy setting. Definitely worth a visit!
Very nice place to have coffee and breakfast and maybe even do some work. The setting is very beautiful, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. We tried the eggs and avocado sandwich and the granola and both of them were delicious. Also the coffee was really good! A lot of people go with their laptops and work there.
Def a great cafe to chit chat and catch up with a friend. Not a spot that I would recommend if you're doing any real work on your laptop since the music is pretty loud.

I've the coffee and the ambiance of this coffee shop -- can't wait to go back to NY to try again
This is strictly for the online ordering. I've tried many different coffees and coffee websites and this is far and away the best. I cannot wait to try the Guatemala single origin.

Amazing coffee & iced tea! I just wish they would bring back the chicken wraps from the kitchen. I use to stop every sat & sun for one
This place is great, the atmosphere is really nice and welcoming. There enough places inside and outside, when sunny it’s nice to sit on the long bench outside. The coffee was well prepared, the taste of the coffee bean there self wasn’t for me (probably mix of arabica and robusta, dark roasted), but it’s only mattered of taste.
Came to look for the flagship café of Toby’s Estate Coffee. Found out it’s now called “Partners Coffee”! But still plenty of seating and sunlight for this famous Williamsburg Cafe... and an unique brew school inside the store. What a pleasant sunny afternoon in the fall with a sip of its espresso Bedford Blend (comprising Colombian and Ethiopian beans)
Upon my visit to Partners, I decided to indulge in a red eye with almond milk, complemented by the enticing addition of French vanilla flavoring. Regrettably, the promised infusion of French vanilla failed to materialize in the beverage, leaving me somewhat disappointed. Despite the rich and robust nature of the red eye, characterized by its bold bitterness, the absence of the anticipated sweetness from the French vanilla was rather perplexing. One would expect a harmonious balance between the intense coffee flavors and the subtle sweetness of the vanilla, yet this was not the case. Nevertheless, it's worth noting that the red eye itself offered a commendable coffee experience, boasting a strong and robust profile that appealed to aficionados of bold brews. However, the absence of the desired sweetness in such a bitter concoction left me feeling somewhat unsatisfied. Overall, while the beverage fell short of expectations due to the missing French vanilla essence, it still managed to provide a decent coffee indulgence.
Really like this place They open early, even on Sunday, and that adds a star. The inside is very cool. A huge couch and plenty of tables for chilling. They also sell a nice selection of coffee gear, mugs, French presses etc. Coffee is good (they roast in house). Nice on a sunny day too..
This is my first review, and excited to give my unwanted, careless and honest judgments (the good and bad) ! Toby’s Estate has a very comfortable vibe the second you walk in, the old school hip spot in town to swing by and do work as you sip on coffee and hear the roasting machine in the back! Avocado Toast is amazing with a splash of Tahini sauce on top (5 star for sure). Make sure you charge your Phone, Tablet, Laptop oh and your electric prosthetic leg if you have one, there is NO outlets at this stop, JUST SAYIN!
Difficult time getting seats for 2 of us. The staff remade a hot chocolate free of charge due not being hot enough.

They do not have outlets to charge your computer if you're looking for a place to work. But I got the egg and spinach on a pretzel bun and it was so good!
The ambiance in here is amazing. Lots of open space and light. I enjoyed my coffee and breakfast sandwich, but they're a little pricey for what you get.

Loud music, comfy couches, lots of seating space, and tables to study. Ordered the breakfast burrito (4/5!) that comes with a few pieces of strawberries too. Spent a few hours working

I did not understand the hype around this place. It was jam packed with people inside and out and there wasn't really a good place to wait for your drink without being in the way. I also personally found the coffee weak and sour. Again personal taste but when I ordered a large Americano (16oz) and it came in an 8oz cup with only a single shot and mostly water I was very disappointed. Again maybe it was a matter of personal taste but the brew was weak for an Americano. I couldn't even ask a question after as the staff were "done" with me once my drink was on the bar. So I left disappointed having spent $6 on something I didn't even end up drinking.
The coffee is good but spoiled by the unfriendly inattentive staff - especially the British sounding girl at the register (hence 3 stars). She was having conversations with everyone else, and was unable to answer simple questions about the food. Nice atmosphere with locals working at communal tables. Beautiful decor
Open, modern and airy space which invites you in and which lead us in for a bit of a break whilst walking around and discovering the area. The atmosphere was vibrant with many different types of people enjoying their coffee and cakes but mostly on their laptops. It appeared to attract many digital nomads and it was interesting to see how they operate as it’s not very common in my area of London. The experience was quite spoilt by the person behind the counter who clearly didn’t enjoy being there and was oozing negative energy which unfortunately spread onto us and others around us. He got our orders wrong and didn’t offer any apologies or empathy when we asked where the rest of our order was. We did our best to make the best of our time there as we didn’t want it to spoil the rest of our afternoon. Well made coffees and delicious cakes though.
Walking into Partners coffee in Williamsburg you are thrown aback by all the commotion and seeming chaos in the standing/ordering line. I think the space would be a bit more comfortable if there was proper signs stating which line is for what and where. Having ordered a pour over, it took a long time to set up and wait for it to start, but once started the prep/brewing of the coffee seemed very haphazard and very little attention was paid to the process. The resulting coffee was sour, flat, and essentially the reminder of the color beige. If the color beige was a pour over coffee it would be a partners pour over coffee. Just thin, bland and a waste of money.
My friend and I got cold brew and espresso shots. The espresso was good, a bit bitter but had a kick aftertaste very strong! The cold brew tasted horrible even with a lot of milk & sugar, just very watery. The place gets packed easily so make sure you go early for a table. I wish the staff was a bit more friendly but overall it’s a calm vibe.
Been here a few times just to make sure bc others seem to like it. Their regular coffee is just terrible and cost almost $5. They do cute latte art tho. All items are overpriced and the space is typically packed. Would not return. Too many great coffee shops around with better coffee.
I was really excited to try Partners and the coffee was fine, but honestly the music is so loud that you can barely hear the person sitting next to you :(
Their eggs are premade - never heard of such a thing. It takes a second to cook eggs, so not a nice place to grab a bite. Cute interior if you to just for coffee / cowork
Beautiful space. Nice coffee. Good food. No outlets. Insanely loud music.
Came here a few weeks ago. Nice big open space, staff seemed whatever certainly nothing special. The reason I write this review…. I had one of the most disgusting espressos I’ve ever had in my life here. It tasted of corn/maize, maybe that is some sort of special espresso they serve here but it was terrible. I wonder if the staff or management knows they are serving such a a disgusting and offensive tasting espresso. Big fancy coffee shop that can’t make a good espresso? What’s the point?
The staff member I talked to behind the counter was pretty rude. Clearly, she/he was over it. I only asked when the next roast date would be so I could try and get the freshest batch and she/he sighed and looked at me like I was the biggest pain in the butt. I won’t be going back there. There’s too many other options around town.
I would not recommend coming here, the coffee is very watery and weak. 75% of the seats are laptop free — of course I can understand designating a few tables as such, but 8 tables being laptop free zones is very unwelcoming and overkill. Instead, they can enforce a time limit on tables, maybe for 2-3 hours at a time. Or maybe a 50/50 split of the zones. But what really gets me is the fact that there are ZERO straws. They have a straw free policy for what? The environment, when they’re using single-use plastic cups and lids? People have disabilities and medical conditions, not having straws available to be inclusive of all customers is unacceptable. The bathroom was also dirty and smelly. That being said, the interior is very open and spacious with a decent amount of seating. There’s a lot of potential for this to be an amazing spot, but they need to improve accessibility.
By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. For better or worse, it is up to both the customer and the business owner to stop plastic waste at the source. Upon visiting this coffee shop, and looking around the room, it’s clear that most people have no idea to even ask for reusable mugs, which you do indeed offer. While I am relieved you offer a choice to reduce trash, I do wish that you would communicate it more clearly and more regularly to your customer base, so that we can reset this awful, wasteful, cultural norm that has become muscle over the past few decades. Perhaps that means the barista asking customer specifically if they will be enjoying their drink for here. Perhaps that also means offering a minimal discount to people who bring in their own mugs, and communicating that discount. Perhaps it could mean having a sign out that reminds people that they have a choice to be better to the planet, and that mugs are available at the shop. I know having more mugs to wash could be a strain on a dishwasher or on the person doing dishes, but you clearly have some infrastructure to do so, since you do offer some meals in reusables. In a neighborhood as progressive as this one, that also borders the waterfront, it seems absurd to me that this much trash gets created in one sitting, at one coffee shop. I hope you take my words as a kind suggestion, not as ridicule. To current or potential customers reading this, know that you can ask for your coffee in a reusable mug, but you have to be explicit. And to the folks running the store, I hope you can do more to communicate this option to customers. We are our only hope when it comes to mitigating both the plastics crisis and the overarching climate crisis. Thanks for your consideration!
I don't understand why people go here when there's so many better coffee shops in Williamsburg . I went for the first time today and the service was poor and the coffee taste good at all.

I tried your cold brew as a lightweight caffeine drinker in the blue can it was great but had to Much caffeine for me. I didn’t want to waste the other 3 so I gave it to my hardcore caffeine drinker friend and her husband. It was sour completely spoiled and the expiration date is in march 2023. Very disappointing and she threw up.
This review is for the abysmal service of Partners online coffee. No idea what their food or atmosphere is like but based on their customer service it's most likely dire as well. Ordered coffee online, week later still hasn't shipped. Reason I was given was because of a "federal holiday" that was a WEEK after I placed my order. Kudos to Partners for training their clown staff in top level gaslighting. their policy of "making things right" is a joke. Avoid would be my recommendation.
Absolutely the worst espresso, worst flat white and worst customer service at any coffee shop I have been to. Walked in hoping for a great coffee-was met by a rude staff member who didn’t smile or converse. Took my order and dismissed me-there wasn’t anyone in line behind me-so it wasn’t as the person was busy trying to take orders and keep a line going. She was just rude and without customer service skills. Ordered a flat white and immediately threw it away. Gross! Stale! Yuck.
Charged 50 cents extra for ice even though I’m pretty sure I never was on my previous visits and there’s no such charge listed on the menu … in response to their response : put the charge on the price list. 50 cents is not a small amount especially when I saw employees handing out cups of ice to people who ordered sodas and without “up charging” them
