There is really nothing better than having fresh made pasta!! I had the lasagna and it was amazing!! My wife and I had stepped I to two different restaurants and walked out out of both of those immediately!! Luckily we came across Casa Bella and it did not disappoint. Food, service and atmosphere was on point. Very satisfied with the entire dinner experience we had.
Beautiful place, the very cozy atmosphere, the food is delicious, the lasagna highly recommended, the agust stake is of another level, very tasty, maybe the service a little disconnected from the customer, they rarely approached to ask and someone was called and no one approached until it was the waiter who took our order, but the rest very nice and the portions are incredible, if I recommend Casabella.
Had wonderful time at Casa Bella this afternoon. We are from South Africa and it was lovely to experience the local hospitality, speak to the locals and just an all round wonderful experience. Highly recommend!!!! Andy & Sonja, Knysna, South Africa
I really love the food in this place, the pasta it’s sooo gooddd. All the people in there are so nice
We had an amazing dining experience at Casa Bella! We came in as a large group — 15 of us total, including 10 kids and 5 adults — and the staff handled everything with such grace, patience, and professionalism. It’s not easy to manage a group of that size, especially with so many kids, but the service was seamless and welcoming from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and authentically Italian. Everyone found something they loved, from the pasta and pizza to the desserts. The atmosphere was cozy and lively, perfect for families and large groups. We left full, happy, and impressed. Thank you, Casa Bella, for making our night so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!
Service is exceptional and I truly enjoyed some delicious and fresh Italian food.
Regardless of rush hour, stuff did their best to be very attentive. Enjoyed the dinner here.
Went here with a few of my friends and guy on the street got us to go in. The food was absolutely delicious and the service from our waiter was amazing. Definitely would go back.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Food was delicious and stuff was attentive.
5 stars for the ambience and service in Little Italy. Such a fun place to visit during NYC christmas. Food was pretty good, my friend and I split the spaghetti and meatballs (like grandma’s!) and it hit hard. the meatballs were massive and delicious. The waiter even had the kitchen split our dish into two plates for us, it made things super easy for us! Totally recommend it for a fun pasta meal in little italy.
I have been here twice now and was very impressed with the owner outside letting us know he had tables open, and I had the same server with the same great service both times. There's something about having familiarity in such a large city that is unexpectedly needed. That being said, I had spaghetti bolognese and asked for it to be spicy. I had a delightfully spicy dish (no need for the pepper flakes). Of course I had to have a cannoli, and it did not disappoint either! Very nice last night in NYC! See you guys again soon!
Dinner here was wonderful! Although there was a bit of a wait, we had some fun appetizers until we were ready to order dinner, and my lasagna was delicious enough that I ate every last bite! The wine selections were good, and we probably could have had less, but we had a wonderful time despite not having reservations and a somewhat big party.
Absolutely loved the hospitality and the food at Casa Bella. The ambiance both inside and outside is enticing, the staff is friendly. We also got drinks, which were very good. Would return if in the area. I would say one of the best penne vodka pastas I’ve ever tried! Casa Bella gives you a taste of Italy without having to leave NYC… Graziee!
Definitely a place I’d come back to. If you’re looking for legit Italian food in NYC, this one’s worth it. 🍝
I visited Casa Bella on 11/8/19 and it was amazing! The first impression we got from the promoter set the tone for the rest of our dining experience. He was very friendly and had an amazing sense of humor. All of the staff were very helpful. I ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs. The food came relatively quick and it was amazing! It was so flavorful and filling. I HIGHLY recommend coming here.
Very nice restaurant the ambiance was great and the food tasted amazing especially the vodka pasta i got!
We had a fantastic night. Food was excellent a 10, an opera singer sung in italian, we couldn’t ask for more. We’ll be back.
Great food and service! Came here with my family while visiting Little Italy and had a wonderful experience.
Lots of outdoor seating, good food and short wait. Me and my party ordered a salad, pizza and two pastas. Everything came out much faster than I anticipated which was great! Servers were effective and nice music and candle light to get you through dinner. A plus is being at a great intersection for people watching too.
Very good food and excellent service. Very pleasant staff and perfect environment for a date night or night out with friends.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing, we had a fantastic time with my friends, highly recommended 😋🤩
I highly recommend this place is really clean. And delicious food. Nice and comfortable place to stay w family and friends
I recently visited Casa Bella, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The moment I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly gentleman standing outside named Tommy THe bear he had a welcoming smile, & referred me to the restaurant. His enthusiasm and professionalism immediately made me feel like I was about to walk into a top-notch spot, and he wasn’t wrong! Let me start with the salmon spaghetti it was flavorful, and expertly prepared. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. From the welcoming host to the attentive staff, everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Big shoutout to the gentleman outside for pointing me in the right direction—his recommendation alone was worth the visit & also shoutout to our server Carlos! I’ll definitely be back next time with my family and can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in little Italy, Manhattan don’t miss out!
No, I’m used to Italian food, but this place truly surprised me. The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and there are countless thoughtful details that invite anyone who visits to come back with others and enjoy a magnificent restaurant while indulging in the very best of Italian cuisine.
Amazing amazing amazing!!! Worth a train ride from The Bronx!! The service is great the staff are super friendly they help you pair your wine to your meal. The food was delicious everything they recommended came out perfectly. They are wheelchair accessible and let me say that they made sure we felt great. They made sure we had a great corner table access to the inside dinning.
Waiters were amazing super kind, food was also amazing. The environment was really pretty too. Overall great place to go with friends and family.
If you’re walking past and the staff try and entice you to sit down, let them. You won’t regret it. Mojitos were great, table bread was warm and fresh, bruschetta was tasty and pasta was to die for. The maitre d can also sing really well and his understudy was visually entertaining 😉. Great atmosphere sitting outside.
Beautiful authentic restaurant! The ambiance is a 10 but the food is astonishing and the service was even better. Thank you so much, we’ll be back!!!
This restaurant is so amazing and BEAUTIFUL! Those foods are also amazing and so delicious.✨ The waiter and waitress’ job are so much more satisfying and good listening to what we wants or needs, so amazing!
Honestly, you can't go wrong with any restaurant on Mulberry Street ... but this time we ate at Casa Bella. It was great! As we approached the restaurant a tiny woman enthusiastically wooed us over to the menu board and told us about the Lunch Specials. I joked with her about being the same size as my tiny wife (who is also Italian). We would have eaten outside but it was SO HUMID — we sat at a table inside, near the window — but in the air conditioning. Ahhh, it felt so good and it's a very nice environment. The restaurant was busy but not CROWDED, which was perfect. All of the servers were terrific and very attentive. We all got glasses of water and of course bread for the table. We also all picked something from the Lunch Specials menu. For $18.95 you could choose Bruschetta or a Salad AND an entree of Rigatoni al Pomodoro, Lasagna, Spaghetti Bolognese or Mozzarella Salad. We all enjoyed our meals and to be honest... no one could finish theirs, except me! Big portions and a great deal if you order one of the lunch specials. Delizioso!
Absolutely loved this place! Everything from the presentation to the service was excellent, and you can tell they really care about quality. Highly recommend!
Excellent service, great location, and great value on our meals. The night we decided to go to Casa Bella there was a special on an “appetizer and entree”. We came for chicken parm anyways, so this was a no brainer. I got the caprese salad which was fantastic. Fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil. Delicious! The chicken parmesan was also worth remembering! Sauce was just right - not too spicy or sweet - and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Our server was also fantastic and very friendly. When in the city again, we’ll be back!
Went for a late Evening Bite that I will personally say was excellent. The staff was very polite as well as respectable . My personal server was a complete gentleman and the food was impeccable as well as the espresso at the end of the meal. Would highly Recommend Casa Bella 💚🤍❤️Ty Paulie D
Excellent food and service!! It’s not our first time coming here, and this restaurant does not disappoint! Came with the family here for Labor Day weekend, and the wife and kids loved the pasta and fried calamari! If you happen to come by Little Italy, I would definitely recommend stopping by this place! Affordable prices for high quality dishes and service…that’s how you earn a hefty tip! Two thumbs up for Casa Bella🙌
I've been here a couple of times and it's always a good experience. The food is constantly delicious, especially the pasta dishes and desserts. Everything tastes fresh and well prepared. The staff is welcoming and makes you feel taken care of. It's a great spot for a relaxed dinner.
I had such a great experience at Casa Bella! The location right on Mulberry Street gives it that classic Little Italy charm, especially if you sit outside and people-watch. I went with a friend on a Saturday night and the atmosphere was lively but still cozy.
Casa Bella is Little Italy at its absolute best. A third-generation family restaurant on Mulberry Street , the love and tradition shows in every dish. The handmade pasta is incredible, the service is warm, and the outdoor patio is pure magic on a nice evening. An unmissable New York gem!
The pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce tasted homemade, and you can tell they use really fresh ingredients. We also ordered dessert and it was the perfect ending - not too heavy, just delicious 😍
Honestly one of my favorite places I’ve visited in a long time. Service is great, the food is top tier & the vibe of the place is very inviting. If you’re looking for a great date night spot this is it!
Wonderful experience! The food was fresh and full of flavor, especially the pasta. The staff was friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was warm and authentic. We will definitely be coming back!
Portions were solid, prices were fair for the city, and the service was professional and attentive without being over the top. The atmosphere had a relaxed, classic Italian vibe - good for a date or just a nice night out.
The best atmosphere in Little Italy. The restaurant just went through a renovation and is gorgeous! Always can count on Casa Bella for great service and a delicious meal.
I came here for dinner with a friend and we both really enjoyed it. The pasta was fresh and flavorful, and the sause tasted homemade. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, not too lond, which l appreciated. Our server was kind and attentive the whole tim. I would definitely come back.
I went in with my family and when i went inside it was really beautiful in the inside. It’s really detailed, clean and organized. The food my family got was delicious everything was delicious the service was on point and always checked up on us. overall everything was perfect and well served if you are thinking on coming to eat or celebrate definitely come in and try it out, you won’t regret it.
Randomly stumbled upon this joint while out on a stroll but boy color me impressed. The pasta was on point, portions were solid, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. If you’ve never been to Italy I guarantee that Casa Bella is about to give you a real first hand experience. The place has a cozy, chill vibe and the staff was really friendly. Definitely a great spot to hit if you’re in the area and want to spend your money on some actual good food that’ll leave you wanting seconds.
I had a great experience at Casa Bella. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a date night or dinner with family. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared — you can really taste the quality in every dish. Service was attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy yet elegant setting, Casa Bella is definitely worth visiting.
Fantastic and highly recommend this restaurant. From the minute we walked in, I knew this was a special place. We were greeted immediately as we got out of our car and escorted to our table. The service was the best I’ve received in a very long time. Everyone was so nice and personable. The food was beyond delicious, the best Italian I’ve had in years!!! I got the Lobster Ravioli, hubby the Shrimp Alfredo, son the Chicken Alfredo and daughter the Spaghetti and Meatballs. They were all incredible, you truly can’t go wrong with anything you order here. Most of the staff have been working at the restaurant for years and the chefs for 20+ years. The ambience and overall atmosphere were perfect. We all felt comfortable and right at home. Truly the best dinner experience I have had in as long as I can remember!! My family all loved it as well❤️
The restaurant was easily located in Little Italy. Staff was friendly yet professional, service was perfect and food amazing. The pasta carbonara was excellent! We were too full to try dessert but the dessert menu had many choices.
The food and service here was amazing! They were very attentive and kind. We enjoyed all the food we ordered but the Fresh Burrata, Bolognese, and Tiramisu were our favorite dishes. The presentation was a 10/10. The pictures we took here were beautiful because the atmosphere of the restaurant is perfect for pictures during dinner time. Love the lighting.
We got the lunch special. $21 for appetizer, entree, and dessert. In my opinion the most value for your money in little Italy. The food was amazing and so was lunch. Which was Caesar salad, bolognese, and eggplant rolatine. Shout out to our server Luis, great attitude and swift service. Beautiful restaurant inside and available outdoor seating. Of the many restaurants in little Italy it is one of the more economical without sacrifice quality or taste. Clean bathrooms.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service, amazing location and amazing owner. Kind, caring and genuine person. Don't miss this place
Excellent food ambience service sometimes even music. Great to sit outside when the weather is good and enjoy a martini or a glass of wine.
Amazing! wait service so great. Please go. Food is everything you can expect. We ate outside and loved it. Get the pitcher of Sangria.
Delicious food! Huge portions! Excellent customer service! Can't wait to go back when I'm in New York again! Try this place!

Nice environment but a bit loud like most places in Little Italy. Excellent bread, shrimp app and bruschetta apps,. Had pollo vodka. Was very good but only came with a potato croquette; was expecting some pasta with it. Fellow guests had pizza (very good), gnocchi (very good), and excellent cheesecake for dessert. Will return.
Food was great. Had lasagna during lunch special. Came with salad, main course, bread and a dessert. Service was lacking, waiter could care less! Helpers were pleasant. Might be back?
Great Italian restaurant that serves great food and okay pizza (not brick oven IMO). They served us toasted bread before our meals arrived. I had the seafood medley pasta that had four clams, four mussels, two shrimps, and fish. I was happy with the quality and the taste (see pics). My wife had the Chicken Caesar salad (plenty of chicken) and was happy that it was fresh and not out of a bag.
Was walking on the other side of the street and the maître d’ invited us over to the restaurant. The maître d’ is the one that intrigue us to stop in. We tried the Rustico pizza. The pizza had pepperoni, sausage, mozzarella and tomato sauce. We sat outside along the sidewalk and enjoying the ambience of Little Italy. Next time we will have to try one of their pasta dishes.
This place had a really nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. The servers were very polite and went above and beyond. I loved the outdoor space and the lighting. The guy outside was pretty cool and made us laugh. As much as I loved this place and wanted to give it a 5 star rating, I had to give it 4. The food was good but that’s about it. We had the Pasta Verde and Ravioli. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either.
Located in the heart of Little Italy in NYC this place was really impressive. Cozy ambience, clean and tidy place, very kind and polite staff with good recommendation. Food, no doubt is amazing. We ordered 6 mains and 5 of them were amazing and the last one was so-so. Definitely recommend to visit if you are looking for an Italian meal. Toilets are bit run down and hence one less star otherwise the place deserves 5.
Tried casa bella for lunch, the restaurant is located on the heart of little Italy. The food was good, the service was not the best, prices are pricey but is new york( $18 for an ok glass of sangria 😑) and the restaurant is nice inside and well located. The have a lunch special but very limited and the dessert that was included was a joke.
Casa Bella has undergone a new renovation. Venue looks spectacular! 🥇🥇 Love sitting here on the corner of Mulberry & Hester st. Taking in the sights and beauty all around. 👍👍 House wine for $9 accompanied by calamari for extra. Great great vibes. The staff are fantastic and easy going. Good spot for a date or just a drink at the bar. In front is Johnny the Nose
I love that this ristorante was right in the middle of Mulberry Street in Little Italy. The guy who sat us to our table was very kind and friendly and he happily obliged to make a vegetarian pizza for us upon requesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, delicious drinks and the whole awesome vibe...

We ordered lunch of the day for $19 per person. I didn't have time to eat 1/3 of the salad when the waiter brought the main course and started to forcefully stuff it on the table. After asking if I was satisfied, I replied that the dishes were served too quickly. Despite this comment, before I had eaten the dessert, he again forcibly brought me the bill. He added the standard 15%. The food was great, very tasty. The waitress service still has a lot to learn not to rush customers during the meal.
Atmosphere was phenomenal. Service was exceptional as well. Host was one of the few nice New Yorkers I met. Rainy night in little Italy, sitting outside you can escape for a while. Now the food.. I had ricotta stuffed ravioli and I hate to say this I’m even almost embarrassed to say this but I’ve had better at Olive Garden. Wife had the house special seafood pasta. It was the same. Also gratuity was automatically added. And that’s why I had to give them 3 stars. Unless I missed that on the menu it wasn’t posted. But when u see this pic I posted u are going to go eat there.
We ordered the broccoli rabe, bruschetta, pollo alla vodka, and the chicken parmigiana. Honestly the food was fine; I’ve had better Italian food. For $20+ for a meal, the food was not worth the price (and no free refills). The service was slow and rude at times. There are better restaurants to go to in Little Italy.
Beautiful ambiance, attentive and friendly wait staff, disappointing food, good cocktsils. Terrible, floppy bread with no crust and no bite. Caesar salad overloaded with a bland dressing. The veal saltimboca should have been more tender and was over a TON of spinach that I'm pretty sure was frozen. Sad representation of Italian cuisine.
We stopped for the $19 lunch menu. It came with an appetizer, meal, and dessert. They automatically charged gratuity and we had one lemonade. The total was $31. They also charge a processing fee for cards. We weren't a fan of the food. However, the atmosphere boosted the score. Its right in the middle of little Italy.

Great location and a choice of 3 10$ happy hour cocktails...however wine by the glass eas 18.50 and mediocre...and don't be surprised when you get the bill as there might be some $$$ extra fees?? I'm giving it 1 star because I can't give it 0. The store manager is rude to the staff. The worst thing was that at the end when they bring you your bill they charge you a service charge of 10.50 without informing you. Also, the price changes depending on whether you want to pay with cash or card, which is unacceptable. You end up paying about +15 dollars without any information. When I asked him about the extra money I had to pay, he replied that I should have asked what I would pay for the service. I would not recommend it to anyone!
I had a really bad experience at this restaurant because of a rude and unprofessional waiter. He acted like he didn’t even want to take our order, which made us feel unwelcome. Honestly, I just wanted to finish my food quickly and leave. We ended up getting dessert next door at Da Gennaro, where the staff was respectful, friendly, and kind—a completely different atmosphere. My suggestion to the manager: please train your waitstaff to treat customers with kindness and professionalism. Good service makes all the difference.
It’s soo sad I’m making a bad review about this restaurant because I used to go to this restaurant all the time and the food was incredible ! The restaurant recently renovated and as it looked beautiful on the inside the food was not only not presented as beautifully but wasn’t at all good in flavor. My friend ordered the Lobster Ravioli and it had no lobster in it and it tasted extremely bland just as the rest the table’s dishes. We also had no choice but to drink water the whole night because their soda was extremely flat. The service was also terrible, our server was extremely sarcastic, his sarcasm come off as rude and my patience ran thin with him from the very beginning. I had to apologize to my friends for recommending the restaurant in the first place, I had to keep repeating to them that the restaurant used to be amazing and they simply couldn’t believe me. At the end they gave us a written bill. Such a disappointment!
Stopped by late on a Saturday night to grab a quick drink from the bar. Drinks were fine, nothing spectacular and overall service and atmosphere felt so chaotic. The woman tending to us was rude and disorganized. Upon receiving the bill, they automatically added gratuity which was not indicated anywhere on the menu. When we asked to see the merchant copy she was being suspicious and refused. We thought she had forged the tip until we read other reviews and saw this was a common occurrence. Extremely poor practice of a business to not be transparent about additional fees.
The food was very disappointing. We ordered the gnocchi with red sauce and the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The gnocchi arrived cold with hardly any red sauce, and what was there was so watery that it ran to the side of the plate. The fettuccine noodles did not taste fresh and the chicken tasted old. The sauce did not resemble a true cream sauce at all. It tasted more like it was made with half and half and just a hint of cheese. They seated us right next to another couple with barely six inches of space. Every time someone walked by, they bumped into us, which made the entire meal uncomfortable. For what we paid, the experience and the food felt extremely lacking. The service was also poor. No one offered to refill our water and I had to ask multiple times just to get the check. To make matters worse, they added an extra fee for using a credit card, which was never disclosed until the bill arrived. Overall, the experience was very underwhelming. Being of Italian descent, I can confidently say the food was not good at all. Honestly, I would have been more satisfied at Olive Garden.
We were treated perfectly, service is excellent. But food just enough okay to eat. They should create a new and improve menu or change the chef! I won’t come back for their food. Outside, even fast food more tastier than this. Pasta not cooked, just a dough 😖. I hope management of this place will see this review.
If you are in NYC entering Mulberry Street/Little Italy from the south where most people come in you will be enticed by the extended outdoor seating and presentation of the restaurant but the food in no way measures up. The Rigatoni Bolognaise was bland and tasteless and the Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti was less appetizing than fast food. Bread was grocery store quality and the Chocolate Mousse was more like pudding from the grocery store that was thrown into a cup. Service was good and the staff was polite. I don't leave bad reviews but being from NY I expected a lot better and others should deserve the same.
The manager/owner cursed & said a racial slur to a patron - I cannot repeat what was said but it was hateful & extremely disappointing. In fact it was absolutely disgusting, disrespectful, and degrading. I would never support this mediocre establishment. Imagine how he treats his staff & workers.
The pasta wasn't homemade, it was made with a $1 box of pasta. We ordered their special dinner (entree, main dish and dessert) making chicken parm with spaghetti and fusilli al pesto our choices. The fusilli were horrible, "al dente" but since it wasn't homemade they were just hard. The chicken parm with spaghetti was a regular chicken parm, nothing special. The price at least was ok, we paid $25 each for the dinner special but again, the oasta was horrible, I prefer paying $40 for a good dish than $25 for a horrible experience. Be aware that they include tips by themselves (in our case $10). Something that bothered us was the fact that in the menu says "3% more if you pay with CREDIT card". For that reason we paid with DEBIT card and anyways they charged us the 3% more. We asked why and one of the waitresses told us in a VERY rude way that debit and credit is the same and next time we shouldn't assume, we should ask.... WHY WOULD I ASK SOMETHING THAT IS SPECIFICALLY WRITTEN ????? Then he kept saying that 3% is not a big difference in money. We weren't concerned about the money itself, we were angry because of the way he spoke to us when we asked. I wouldn't come here if I were you, horrible food, not nice service. Don't spend $25 dollars for a $3 dollar pasta you can make at home
