My friends and I enjoyed the food here. since we visited this restaurant on Halloween, the Friday team members were wearing costumes, which was really cute and fun!! food, atmosphere all great!
Good Thai food place in SOHO. Had some starters and mains to share. All of it really good and the pork belly dish was my favorite.
Very wonderful experience at Lan Larb Chiang Mai! We loved all of the food; it came out fresh, quick and was hot and flavorful. I'd definitely come back!
Went here on a Tuesday night and it was popping!? Fortunately we were able to snag a seat without a reservation. The vibes were it, and the service was quick too. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were given we’re in NY. The drinks and food were delicious, and they came out so quickly!
This place is absolutely delicious. I think a Thai place is really good when they have much better stuff compared to just a pad Thai. My friends and I had a fish dish, spicy beef, and chicken pad Thai. They are actually genuine when it comes to their spice meters. I liked the fish the best. We didn’t need a reservation and the price is fair for the quality of food.
First time trying Thai food! My friend and I ordered a mango thai iced tea, moo ping, khao na ped (over rice), and pad prik sod moo (over rice). The mango thai iced tea wasn’t my favorite but everyone has different taste buds, I did finish all of it and I think a lot of people would like it! I got the moo ping after wanting to try for a while and it is truly one of my favorite things. It’s been a few hours but I want to come back for more. Khao na ped wasn’t bad, not our favorite but definitely enjoyable for others! The pad prik sod moo was pretty good but if you have a weak spice tolerance I recommend getting something non-spicy at a thai restaurant. I enjoyed the egg that came with it, it was perfectly runny and tasted great mixed with the rice. Since we ordered the lunch special we also got 2 spring rolls and crab rangoon. The spring roll was crispy and hot, came with a good tasting sauce. The crab rangoon is definitely out of this world though!!! We also got the calamari (not pictured) which was also a 10/10. We were too full to eat anything else but I definitely want to come back and try the mango sticky rice.
Instagram recommended place! Was completely surprised by the place. The greet at the gate was extremely warm. Quick seating. Thai has always been one of my favorite cuisine and I’m always skeptical about how the food will be. I simply order led the safest dish, Green Curry with Beef and side of brown rice with sparkling water even though the menu was exhaustive. Green curry and red curry are staple and if any place can ace this it means the food is top notch! And oh boy! It was delicious and delicious and delicious! Portion size was exceptionally good. Cute place with equally happy and friendly team running the restaurant. Oh yes I just wished they had the Mango Sticky Rice dessert.
This was a small restaurant. Service was great and food was amazing. We came during lunch on a week day. Would come back again. Everything was flavorful. We ordered tofu, spicy sausage, veg spring rolls, and tom yom soup with noodles. We tried ordering mango sticky rice but they didn't have any left.
I came in on Monday night after a recommendation by someone who works at a clothing store near here. I was so happy to see a full vegan menu, and I ordered the Vegan Khao Soi Chiangmai. It was amazing!!! Full of flavour and tasty mock chicken. Service was so fast and attentive, I felt well looked after here. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others!! 😊
Very good value tasty Thai food, huge variety of authentic Thai food, it's not just pad Thai and curry, so much more, I want to try so many things on their menu. I came here with my little daughter, and the servers are very thoughtful of the little one's need, very nice of them. Thank you to the team this Friday!!
Not hungry but we decided to get some food for dinner. Ordered three dishes, including a "appetizer sized" duck salad, according to the waitress. What a big mistake! It was definitely not of appetizer size but we had to try our best to eat them all, because everything tasted so good! It's 5 hours later now and and I'm still feeling belly full of food.
Everything was good. The Tom yum soup is good but the it might be too sweet for asians as it was sweet and sour but not spicy. Being an Asian myself, I prefer it spicy but there was nothing wrong with it, it was just my own preference. The stir-fried vegs was also rllyyyyy good. The waitress, Honey, was rly kind and friendly and even engaged in a mini chat with me! Highly recommended
My hometown is Chiang Mai, and eating here makes me feel just like I’m back home. If you want to try authentic Chiang Mai food, I highly recommend this restaurant. Today is Tuesday, and the staff were wonderful—friendly, cheerful, and very helpful. I’ll definitely come back again!
Lan Larb Soho is a fantastic Thai find! From the moment we walked in, we had an amazing time. I absolutely loved my order of Kra Pao Moo Grob; it was rich, savory, and bursting with aromatic basil. This dish is a definite highlight! Don't skip the Moo Ping skewers either—they were ridiculously juicy and full of flavor. I ordered the Lychee Thai Tea and found it a bit unusual without the traditional milk, but that's a minor detail compared to the excellent food. Service was top-notch; a special thank you to our server, Tonya, and the whole Sunday team who kept things running smoothly. Highly recommend giving this place a visit!
We tried three dishes: Kaw Soi Kai, Kor Moo Yang, and Sai Aua with Nam Prik Noom. The Kaw Soi Kai was outstanding — the soup was rich and intense in flavor, while the chicken was incredibly tender, as if it had been slow-cooked multiple times to perfection. The Kor Moo Yang was our favorite overall: beautifully marbled pork, grilled to perfection, with a texture and flavor that made it unforgettable. The Nam Prik Noom tasted wonderfully authentic while the Sai Aua was flavorful but a bit too spicy for us. Service here was just as memorable as the food. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. A special mention goes to Gig, our lovely waitress, who not only made excellent menu recommendations but also shared tips for local attractions.
Great quality Thai in the city. Flavorful with good sized portions for a solid price.

I am surprised this place has such a good rating, were there for the first time, ordered Tom Yum and was so disappointed because it was very very salty, i am not a picky eater but i couldn’t eat it, also ordered a mocktail and it was even worse, don’t remember the name of it but something with guava -literally a salty water and that is it, it had no other taste, i felt like i sipped some ocean water. Got noodles with seafood and had few crushed pieces of shells🐚 in it which was dangerous because they were sharp. Very disappointed ☹️ appetizers were not bad, that is the only thing.
