This Cantonese restaurant is truly exceptional, offering an authentic taste of the region's culinary artistry. Every dish is meticulously prepared, with fresh ingredients that bring out the natural flavors, and the balance of seasoning is perfect. Had an amazing lunch here with friends and the food/service exceeded all our expectations. We had a big group and were seated in the back, ideal for a larger party. Large variety of dimsum, but the main dishes stole the show, super flavorful and fresh! PS. my favorite was the fried milk and fried tofu. Both are crunchy on the outside and extremely soft on the inside 🤤🤤

I'm thrilled to enjoy dim sum in a calm setting in Brooklyn. The dim sum was 100% authentic and everything I had tasted juicy and good! I had: - Shumai (4pc) - Panfried chive shrimp dumplings (4pc) - Pork soup dumplings (4pc) - Roast pork rice roll (3 cut into 6) All 4 were great with my ultimate favorite being the roast pork rice roll - so silky thin and couldn't get enough. Its a small place so reservations are recommended, and it looks like there is a nice backroom for a party of 10. Waiters were friendly and attentive. IG: Jubes111 YouTube: Jujubi Fam

Amazing dim sum experience! The food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic, with a great variety of classic dishes. The salt and pepper tofu was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The shumai was juicy, flavorful, and steamed to perfection. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Definitely one of the best dim sum spots I’ve been to—highly recommend!

Fantastic food and wonderful service! And I have BAD news for people who *hate* happy hour cause this place is doing it round the clock - 30% off - deal of the century. Can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been hesitant to try new restaurants. However, I am so glad that we came to Ming Mun, and we really had a great time. Although they just newly opened, their service was very friendly, professional, and their food is authentically delicious! We tried the stir fried beef hofun, salt and pepper tofu, general tso’s chicken, and other dim sums, they were all very yummy and we really enjoyed them. It’s not easy to find authentic Chinese food without going to the Chinese neighborhood. So glad that Ming Mun joined the community and we will definitely come back again!

Happy to see this place open up in this part of Brooklyn! We have become semi regulars here when we are craving authentic Cantonese dishes! Highly recommend the dishes that the "wok chef" is dishing out! Personal favorite is the Crispy Garlic Chicken which is only dine-in. Definitely worth dining in to really enjoy "wok hay."

Food is authentic and pretty fresh. Servers are really nice too. Very authentic place! My favorite is the pork buns and the fried XO sauce radish cake. The Singapore fried mifun was really well cooked. I didn't love the Xiao long bao, thought was a bit pricy for just three, otherwise everything is tasty and I can get my dim sum filling anytime!!

I am so happy that Ming Moon opened up in this part of Brooklyn! It is hidden gem of truly authentic Cantonese cuisine! The menu doesn't obviously say it but the restaurant serves some truly killer dishes like the Crispy Garlic Chicken and Beef Chow Fun to name a few! The service was great and very attentive and even suggested some seasonal off menu items! I am definitely coming back and bringing my Cantonese friends to enjoy this place! Keep up the great work and food!

New restaurant in the neighborhood. Hard to find an all-day dimsum HK style place in the area. Glad this one opened up. Food is good and made fresh to order. I went there in the evening on a weeknight and everything on the menu was available. Good service too.

Very good dim sum, and friendly service. Everything I tried was tasty. The food took a while to come out, but it could be that I was the first customer that day.

Excellent addition to the neighborhood. We are lacking an authentic Cantonese restaurant in the neighborhood, and this fills in all the blanks. From dim sum, to roast duck and all the different types of noodles we grew up eating.

Cute and tasty local dim sum spot. Great for lunch and casual dinner. The kids ate so fast, I could hardly get photos!

We thought it would be impossible to find a place to that could accommodate a last minute reservation for 8, but Ming Mun saved the day! They seated us in the back room which was so nice and the perfect place to sit and chat! We ordered tons of food and the prices were very reasonable! Everything was delicious, thank you so much for accommodating us! Perfect place for delicious dim-sum!

Truly remarkable dining experience. Staff: superb. Diligent and accomplished. I'm gradually experiencing their entire culinary range. Every meal satisfies, every interaction assists, and every check makes sense. The visit left a great impression.

I love your general tso's chicken but the previous was much better. After you guys closed and reopened this week, the recipe for your general tso's chicken changed. I order it several times a week and am a bit disappointed. Did the chef change? Is it possible to go back to the old recipe? Old recipe: 9.5/10 New recipe: 7/10 Please go back!

The food was alright albeit pricy. Also they only give 3 sesame balls when the picture on the menu has 5.

Ordered delivery through Grubbub. All the dishes are 30% ~40% more expensive than Chinatown places but do not even meet the basics. 20 dollars for the wonton noodles, the wontons tasted mushy with a strong starch flavor, and barely had any shrimp in them. I thought it was undercooked when I had it after microwaving for 1 min still the same texture. The small portion of a 1/4 roast duck is so dry also cost 20 dollars? The classic thousand egg and pork congee have tiny pieces of minced pork that is so dry. The thousand year old egg has lots of egg yolk give the congee really unpleasant texture. Overall very disappointing.

The host was super nice and accommodative. And I liked the menu selection, selection of vegetables and portion size. I had high hopes for a new Chinese restaurant that isn’t crazy or expensive or a dump - titles that apply to other Chinese restaurants in the area. I see potential and understand new restaurants have growing pains. This one has work to do. First, you walk in to no ambience - the overhead daylight lightbulbs are way too bright. And there is no music in the front so you just hear the sound of the ugly refrigerator. The restaurant that was here before understood how to create ambience better. The chairs need to be upgraded. They drag the vibe down too. The back of the restaurant is still cute but most people are going to judge long before they get there unless they dim the lights and turn the music so you can hear it. I ordered garlic chicken. It looked very appetizing so I was initially excited. They put my favorite vegetables in - broccoli and wood ear mushrooms so I thought I’d be back for takeout. I would not order the garlic chicken. The chicken was so chewy that it made me wonder if it was even chicken. Perhaps they substituted because of high chicken prices. The thought made me cringe. I’m hoping it was probably just low quality chicken. I tried eating a number of chicken pieces before giving up and picking the vegetables out instead. The garlic sauce tasted more like a fish sauce than garlic sauce. It wasn’t un-edible but it wasn’t good either. I really want to have a good Chinese restaurant in the area so I hope they will take my comments as constructive criticism. Maybe there are multiple chefs and the one that makes the dim sum had already gone home because my 4 pm Sunday experience did not match the other raving reviews. Advice - fix the lights, add music to the front, turn the music up, get nicer chairs, buy higher quality chicken, work on your sauce recipes and make sure they are mixed properly. The owner should dine at some of the Thai restaurants for example in the area. They are a similar price point and mostly do a bit better on atmosphere. We need more good Chinese so I hope this one can step up.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I ordered from here when they first opened and it was terrible. So I thought it was growing pains. Several months later I tried it again and it hasn’t improved. All these five star reviews must be fake. Read the other poor reviews to get the real story. The restaurant that previously occupied this space was called Dimmer Summer and it had very high quality food. It’s a real shame it didn’t survive. There is a reason this place is usually empty. $15 for 9 pieces of the toughest char siu I’ve ever had. $18 for 1/4 duck which was mostly bones. Lukewarm sticky rice that was clearly undercooked with soggy rice and a stale fishy smell. The list goes on. It’s not even remotely close to being “average”. The pictures don’t lie, save your money and ride the subway a few stops to Chinatown and eat at Dim Sum Palace in FiDi. There are so many other Chinese restaurants in this area of Brooklyn that are heads and shoulders above - Shan, East Wind Snack Shop, Xi’an Famous Foods, Nan Xiang Express and those within Dekalb market - Han Dynasty, Thank You Come Again, 100% Mr. Lin, Hana Noodle Station and more. You have been warned.
