Lovely vibe, great people working, Alex behind the bar is a gem. Great burger, great caulilini, nice chicken, intriguing grilled cheese. And every cocktail I've tried here is wonderful, especially the specials, don't be turned off by the beer syrups! Calm relaxing and vibey music. It's a great spot!
Love this place! Their cocktails are on point. Must try caulifini. It’s the best! The chicken thigh skewers were good too. I liked the cucumber cocktail, it had the right amount of saltiness. Staff is friendly. They do check for vaccination upon entry.
The service is here is great, very attentive staff. Loved the overall vibes, very busy but still welcoming and fun.
My friend and I went here for a drink after a concert and had a great time. The drinks are reasonably priced and the vibes inside are excellent.
I go here after work for Happy Hour. The prices, food and drinks are really good. I really like the Cheeseburger and the Pesto sandwich. I always get both when I go lol I will definitely be returning.
The Rockwell Place is my favorite and go to neighborhood cocktail bar. It’s chic, lively, and has a great menu and staff. On multiple occasions I’ve asked for special accommodations and time and time again they’ve helped out. Truly a great place with great people and I’ll be a patron for as long as I’m living in Brooklyn.
Great new bar in the neighborhood. Awesome bar staff. Super friendly and welcoming. The place is beautiful. Decor has an industrial vibe with vintage BAM posters on the wall. There's an awesome skylight and window that looks out onto the mural on the building next door. Small wine and appetizer menu and there's a full bar. I didn't have anything to eat but the wine was very good. I had the Banshee red. $14.00 a glass but worth it. We went there around 530pm, there didn't seem to be a happy hour menu. Totally recommend this place for meeting up with friends or stopping in by yourself after work. Welcome to the neighborhood Rockwell Place. I look forward to stopping in again.
The dinks was very good, also chicken skewers was delicious, I recommend this place, the bartender made very good drinks! Place is modern and cool.
Absolutely love Rockwell — vibes are immaculate, drinks are fantastic and there may even be a very attractive journalist/writer/Floridian there occasionally. Warning: the martini with olives and pickled onions may taste like a salad
Super cute, low key bar that’s tucked away in a quiet corner. Reminds me of the Book Club in the LES. Will definitely be coming back again and again.
When I am looking for a bar it is usually chill vibes and this delivered, it was relaxed, good funky music, the staff was very friendly, even their menu had a cool design.
We had a great experience at The Rockwell Place. Friendly staff who go the extra mile to understand your preferences. Really nice cocktails and a fun selection of different martinis. Reasonably priced as well.
Feels off the beaten path and has a down to earth vibe but it's definitely upscale. Upscale cocktails and perfect light food ( I didn't have dinner yet). Prices match the neighborhood, aways a nice time. Staff are wonderful, friendly and sharp
Great find - well built drinks, good efficient service and nice crowd. The ‘sour from the tap’ is excellent with tequila blanco and the dirty blue cheese martini went down well. Well balanced, well made and delicious. Sparkling water on tap for all patrons. Will visit again.

Best bar in the area. Food is amazing (the farro is my favorite) and the staff and owner could not be more gracious. Will be back... again and again!
Really nice, laid-back atmosphere with unique cocktails
Creative and tasty original cocktails, cool atmosphere and friendly staff.
Alex over at Rockwell Place hooked us up with a reservation for a big group. Really cool place, great vibe, amazing team over there!
Every single cocktail here is delicious. Ask for Jess she is fantastic. A+
Great style bar, great ambiance with great tasting cocktails.
Nice spot. Cocktails are on the more expensive side but the staff know what they are doing
Fantastic drinks, great atmosphere, and all around comfortable space to hang out in.
Amazing drinks, amazing burger (get the double), and lovely people
Great place to wine and dine... nice relaxed cozy setting, excellent food, love the calamari !!!
Super cute vibe. Love the decoration. Drinks are great too!
Great bar, not too expensive, super chill atmosphere
Lively and bustling with excellent drinks. Their sound system is great!
Fully stocked cocktail bar with friendly staff and a great vibe.
Very good cocktails, good space, and food. Nothing more to ask for.
Looking for a quiet outdoor space for your beer, wine or craft cocktail - look no further.
Very nice trendy vibe, and good cocktails too!
Andrew has been my favorite bartender in NYC
Great cocktails and bar staff
The drinks are strong and the food is flavorful.
Place has the coolest vibe in the neighborhood, amazing cocktails and delicious bites. Fair prices. Very friendly, cool bartenders that make it inviting but not intrusive to sit and enjoy at the bar. Favorite neighborhood spot for cocktails.
My boyfriend and I needed to kill an hour so we stopped in here for a drink and were pleasantly surprised at the cocktail quality and delicious food. I highly recommend the chicken skewers and cauliflower!
Hip little bar tucked away in Downtown Brooklyn. Crowd on Saturday night was a mix and full of fun people. Bartenders are experts at mixing drinks and we talked during the evening on the best way to make white negronis and highballs. They really pay attention to their craft and are students of their passion. Drinks are reasonably priced and delicious. My favorite by far is the Spaghetti Incident 2.0. However, the lambrusco cocktail was also excellent.
Nice atmosphere. Fair prices. Very good mixologist. Don't hesitate to ask for cocktails not of the menu, bartender knows his stuff and has a great selection of alcohol to tap into. I highly recommend for a date
I popped into this cocktail bar alone while waiting for friends before a show at BAM. I stumbled across this gem by accident and was drawn in by chill and cool atmosphere. The bartenders seem knowledgeable and were able to help guide me to a drink that fit my taste. The music was enjoyable and not too loud. I can’t wait to be in the neighborhood again so I can return.
Go to cocktail spot in the neighborhood. So glad they're open again! I love the atmosphere here, great place to bring a date or an old friend and make new memories. The barkeeps are always friendly and are truly skilled in their craft. Try a cosmopolitan!
It's been a long time since every single cocktail I ordered at a bar was a hit. We ordered 4 and literally couldn't get enough. All distinct and expertly crafted. Thank you for a wonderful experience
Incredible vibes - I love how they pay homage to the neighborhood. It feels like having drinks backstage at BAM. The staff are friendly, the drinks are all unique at a reasonable price.
Incredible bar!! The bartenders are all highly knowledgeable, and make the basics to perfection (and a lot of great custom cocktails). A bit of a hidden gem, though more and more people seem to be discovering it. Associated with the Long Island Bar, which is another gem. Truly one of the best bars in Brooklyn and all of NYC.
Love the vibe of this place and the cocktails are fuegooo. Shout to the bartender Victoria for making my crew amazing drinks. Stop by if you’re in the area.
This bar is exactly what you need it to be. It has great drinks and food, and it is cozy but not cramped. I would love to see them expand their zeroproof drink selection so I can come by more frequently!
Thank you so much bartender, my wife ordered a complicated drink and didn't like it, they were so nice and offered to make something different no charge. Really great service! 😍🫵
We came for a drink late evening. The staff were friendly and attentive. Cocktails expertly mixed and poured. The environment is modern, simple, and well done.
Very cool space in an area that desperately needs cool spaces. Staff is friendly and the noise level is comfortable for conversations. The cocktails are also excellent and creative
The food and drink are both made from quality ingredients and respectfully priced. Immediate, prompt service and bartenders with immense knowledge of proper classic cocktails. Recommend to all!
Gin Gin Mule !!! I truly enjoyed my short visit to the Rockwell s Place ... The smoothe taste, healthy ginger natural taste, helps with post covid..!! Thank you.. As Brooklyn, the world comes alive.. I recommend a soft drink after a long day, mixed emotions of the what, where, why, and are we okay? Check it out, cozy and pleasant atmosphere ..
Great NA drinks too!
One of the best places in the entire city. Cocktails/drink selection - 5/5 (get the adult dr. Pepper or aperol spritz of the day du jour) Food - 5/5 (get the spaghetti or the grilled cheese) Service - 5/5 Witty menu and funky vibes 5/5 (they call a vodka soda “it’s ok”) 10/10 recommend ☺️
Perfectly crafted drinks, great bartenders, great tucked-away spot if you're going to or coming from BAM, Brooklyn Paramount, or are just in the area.
Come here if you want a well made drink.
Imagine the quintessential neighborhood bar but with elevated vibes and excellent cocktails. Excited to come back again and again
This place has such a cool atmosphere!! Stumbled upon it on our walk home and so glad we stopped in. Friendly staff, cute menu, great vibe/decor
great bar, excellent cocktails, excellent vibes, excellent staff. worth poking your head around the corner for!
Didn’t try the food, but the vibe was great, the cocktail was delicious, and the bartender was super friendly and helpful. Great addition to the neighborhood.
Excellent drinks and ambiance. Great bartenders. Had the smoked salmon toast which was delicious, as well.
Great local hidden gem. Make sure to try a Spaghetti Incident in the Jungle. It’s one of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried 🤩
Really lovely outdoor seating and very friendly folks! Good cocktails, good vibes:)
Great spot! Rock bar vibes and top notch cocktails.
Hands down my favorite bar in the area. They have so many spirits and a very large gin selection. The staff is so nice, professional, and the drinks are super smooth. Also the music is usually pretty great too. Be sure to ask for their separate martini menu or monthly specials.
Excellent martini! Creative cocktail menu. Definitely worth a visit
Veronica took amazing care of us last night! The drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced, the French Onion dip was a perfect snack, and the conversation was lovely. Highly recommend!
This place was an awesome spot to grab some drinks! The cosmo was delicious, and the pressed suit was very strong. Vibes are great inside the establishment as well!
Love the vibe. Real cocktails, not watered down drinks. Staff is great, especially the general manager who runs the place very well and makes everyone feel welcome and respected. Menu is great and the musical decor are a nice touch. I love the shrimp toast, try it!
Listen, we are in an era where even meh cocktails will run you $15 in NYC, so may as well come here and pay $16 for really good, unique cocktails. We went 4/4 on our picks. The space is very cool / industrial chic, and the music is great - perfect second date spot.
Awesome neighborhood bar. Great bartenders. Feels like the kind of place where they could make you anything you want.
Totally stumbled into this place and absolutely loved it. The happy hour drinks were amazing, we ordered the spritz they had (which was one of the better apertif spritzes I've ever had) and the coconut sazerac which was a delicious take on an old fashion. Staff was all very friendly and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Most patrons we saw appeared to be enjoying some post-work drinks but this would also be a great spot for a date or just to enjoy delicious drinks with friends. I will definitely be back here soon!
Stopped in for a drink before a show at the Brooklyn Paramount. Found the perfect spot for a great cocktail and good vibe.

Small spot with a great vibe and nice bartenders. Cute cocktails to fit the mood of the times.

One of the best bars in the city. Cocktails are not watered. Fast & friendly service
An unexpected spot in downtown Brooklyn. Service was good and the cocktails decent.
Cool vibes, wish they had a larger cocktail menu though
Love the atmosphere there, perfect for a date night!
We love this little place, mostly for the staff and the cocktails. Each time we have been there we've had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is unique, it feels off the beaten path, and really fits into the edge neighborhood of Fort Greene/Downtown Brooklyn. The staff is super friendly, they make us laugh each time we are there. The drinks are stellar... this review would be a five star if their food were just a bit better. But please do not let that dissuade you, this place is soooo worth it, and we will keep coming back.
Great bar in the heart of downtown Brooklyn great bartenders good service food is not really a good place to eat mainly for drinking and having a good time
Good music and decent drinks, but the bartenders’ attitude is terrible. I’ve been there twice and both times had bad experiences. I asked for a simple lime or lemon, and they said they didn’t have any. Seriously? A bar without the basics?

Interesting cocktail menu and beautiful bar, but we sat inside at a table and the service was very slow. Ordered a second drink and it never came, waitstaff was hard to flag down too. After waiting 30 min, we decide to just get the check and leave. Experience may be better sitting at the bar so maybe we'll be back for a second try
Don’t know really. Is it a bar? All the seats were reserved when we walked in. A whole big empty section on Saturday night. A vibe? Sure. Lots of people staring into the phones. Some folks having fun. A bar? Meh. Let me sit and have a drink. Then you’re a bar.
This used to be such a great little neighborhood cocktail bar. The cocktails were inventive, the vibe was chill but fun. It seems to have gone downhill in the last year, the bartender is surly, the drinks are ok at best. With other good cocktail bars in the neighborhood won’t be back anytime soon
Bartender rude . Took ages to get the check. Love cocktails bars but this was not it
great space indoors. attractive cocktail menu. too bad they’re basically water with coloring.
TLDR - Order mixup led to a very negative staff interaction on first visit, won't be going back. I came in with a group of seven and ordered many mixed drinks, beers, and shots throughout the night. We also decided to splurge on a bottle. The sparkling white section had three listings*: the second bottle was a "Such and Such... Brut," for $56, and the third was listed as simply "Champagne" for about $100. We joked about ordering the expensive bottle, but ultimately decided to get two of the $50 bottles instead. My boyfriend pointed to the second listing and said to the waitress "Can we get two bottles of the Brut?" She may have responded, "sure, two of the brut champagne!" maybe she didn't, but either way she came back with two, already corked and bucketed bottles. She did not show the labels, did not ask any of us to sample, did not repeat the name and vintage, or confirm the order in any other way. Like I said, we were a big group and had been ordering a lot; we were having a good time so we dug in straight away and of course polished them both off. When the check came, we saw we'd been served two of the $100 bottles, not two $50 bottles. Upon bringing this up with the waitress, her first response was to say that we were mistaken, and this was what we'd asked for. I was certain I'd heard my boyfriend say "Can we get the Brut," to which she responded, "Well, there are two Bruts on this menu." This was confusing, so we looked back at the menu. As it turns out, the fine print under the "Champagne" listing describes that bottle as a brut, among other characteristics. The waitress then educated us, not kindly, on the difference between champagne and other sparkling whites, informing us "if you ask for champagne, I'm gonna serve you champagne." Now, I know not everybody is aware of this wine factoid, but we were, and knowing what champagne is was not the principle issue. We now see what happened, we said, but there's been a miscommunication. She says she'll get the manager. I want to stop here and say that I don't totally blame the waitress. Part of me is so appalled by what happened next that I'm tempted to say this was a fix; that we made an ambiguous order, and she interpreted it in the most profitable way, thinking that we were a big group and we'd go along. But honestly, I think it was a genuine misunderstanding. She could've been a lot nicer about it; the "champagne region" lecture felt very condescending, and I am left wondering, if it's so easy to mix up these "two bruts on the menu," why not clarify with us before assuming we meant the one that was double the price of the other? Besides than that though, she was a totally fine server and I would like to just give her the benefit of the doubt and move on. The manager's response, however, was totally inappropriate. First he says since it's our word against hers, he's got to side with the waitress. OK, that's fair enough. But while we tried to figure this out, every word he said to us was condescending, exasperated, and straight up rude. I maintain that the best thing to do would be to comp us one of the bottles, but we understood that might not be possible so we tried to compromise. Yet, it all came back to the champagne region. I finally said "Look, let's try to meet in the middle. If you can't comp the bottle, is there anything else you can do to help us out? Maybe cut us a break on something else?" He stares at us, rolls his eyes, and says "I'll comp the two Sapporos," then STORMS OFF without another word! Those two beers were the cheapest items we'd ordered all night, totaling around $10. Our check, even without the extra $100 champagne, would've been nearly $300. Honest misunderstandings happen at restaurants, but I have never, EVER seen a manager act this way. So no, I can't recommend this place. *Looking at the website now, it seems like the list has already been updated.
For some reason the bartender stirred my drink about six times, let it sit there for 5 minutes and came back and did that two more times. It tasted like water.
Bad service, the manager has a bad attitude. Wouldn’t recommend if you wanna have a fun night
I had a really bizarre experience at this place. I ordered a dirty martini, and when it arrived without olives, I politely asked for some. The server told me they had olives but only for platters, not for drinks—meaning I could have them, but only if I paid extra for a separate order. So…you have olives, but you’re just choosing not to serve them in a classic cocktail that traditionally comes with them? Make it make sense. What made it worse was the attitude. Instead of acknowledging how weird this policy is, the server acted like I was crazy for even questioning it. Can we normalize calling out nonsensical policies instead of pretending they’re totally reasonable? This is a cocktail bar—not including olives in a dirty martini (when you clearly have them) is just ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy paying extra for common sense.
Do not go here if you are a person of color ! The bartender gives weird vibes , he always up charged me for a $12 snack that I paid $15 yesterday and today an extra $3 and change has been added. I went with a group of coworkers about 20 . Never going back . And another coworker got charged $50 for 1 drink. $23 yesterday and $30 today .
Went to this bar on a Saturday night with three of my Asian girlfriends — all of us well over 30 — and honestly had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in NYC. We had almost finished our first round of drinks when the manager suddenly came over and asked all four of us to show our IDs. Not at the door, not when we ordered — after we were nearly done drinking. And later we noticed — he didn’t ask anyone else for ID, just us. That already felt discriminatory. Then it got even weirder. I was holding a vape — not using it, not even bringing it into the restroom or anywhere discreet. We were sitting right in the middle of the main hall. Still, the same manager came up and told me to “put it somewhere he couldn’t see it.” I told him I wasn’t using it, and he said, “I know, but still — put it in your bag.” I was honestly trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but there was just no excuse for that kind of behavior. We felt so uncomfortable that we just paid and left. I’ve lived in NYC for years and have never experienced anything like this. If you’re a person of color — especially Asian — or if you have a vape, think twice before going.
