McDonald's

I have had a taste lately for McDonald's french fries and the 2 cheese burgers. I believe that meal is number 7. Which is also my lucky number. Not all McDonald's in my opinion deserve 5 stars. But this particular one does. Maybe its the atmosphere in which these employees work or maybe they just know how to treat the customers. Either way it goes I always have a great experience when coming here. Ive never over paid, never given the wrong items, never had items not received, never had cold food and never had microwaved food either. Everytime Ive come here my burgers are hot and the french fries are hot and fresh. For all the money we pay for fast food you want it to taste good and fresh. Not rubbery, cold and microwaved. I've never experienced that here. And everyone is very friendly and glad you stopped by their McDonald's. I absolutely love this one.

This McDonald's has consistently been the BEST location I have been to ever since I first when there when I lived in Alden about a decade ago. To this day, their food is always perfectly cooked, fresh, expertly assembled, their soda is always flavorful and carbonated, as well! Not to mention it's always clean when I've been in there.

I LOVE it here. Could never ever compare to the Depew one. The staff is so unbelievably talented and friendly #needaraise. Each staff member is so happy and loving. When I don’t feel like cooking my kids WILL be getting McDonald. When we need to dine in it’s ALWAYS clean. This McDonald will always be dear in my heart. I LOVE this mcdonald’s. Its atmosphere is extremely phenomenal!! The food is always super crispy, fresh, and over all delicious!! The fries are always so salty and just thinking about them makes my mouth water. This mcdonald’s is most definitely better than the one in depew with the annoying workers. The staff was very professional and patient as we had a large order. They made sure we got all our food and a timely fashion, and as we open our food, the food looked just like it does on the menu way to go one of the best McDonald’s I’ve been to.

Pleased with the last three visits. I feel that the servings I got with the big breakfast were equal to to price I paid. I hope they don't reduce this like before.

I had work to do that involved uploading 60mb files. I was pleasantly surprised by the good WIFI despite warnings it wasn't that good. Beyond that. It's McDond's. Perhaps you've heard of them before.

Drive thru, food was nice & hot.

The food was good and the service was fast for the amount of food I ordered, I probably waited 5 minutes total.

Breakfast bagel was cold. Iced coffee was not mixed. So all of the flavor, sugar and cream was on the bottom. Restroom was clean and stocked though.

Food was fresh and quick. People were friendly and polite. But all the tables were dirty and I had to clean one myself.

This is McDonald's which is just synonymous with adequate food and adequate service and adequate atmosphere. With that said, I enjoyed the service a lot at this Alden McDonald's I didn't have to wait long for the food I ordered and the food was cooked to order and it was hot. I did not receive anything that was cold, nor the wrong product. The bathrooms are clean the floors were clean and nobody there was miserable.

Usually slow service. Tables not clesned regularly - sides are sticky and gross. Food is made wrong most of the time with "special requests" but if you take it as it comes it is ok.

It's a McDonalds... Messed my order up. Good was still ok Eeven tho I didn't get what I bought.

Worst orange juice ever. Tasted like 1 oz of juice in a cup of water.

I really hate the McDonald's. Corporation.and am not much into their food! But had a late day hangover and where I live there aren't many options! I ordered a big mac combo (large) and a filet of fish sandwich, which totaled to around $18. Normally. I could order a large pizza for $22 which living by myself would feed me for 2days. The food was great because I grew up with it, but very overpriced for something I know to be pretty much poison to my system!

Although you take order numbers for your table, no one alerted us or called a number to tell us our order was done. Fish sandwich was not good..both the roll and the fish werent good.

It's a hit or miss on the service and food. Some workers are nice, and others have a serious attitude. Food is sometimes fresh, and other times, it's old like it's been sitting around all day long.

We had to return the fries do to the fact that they were a little soggy they must have been sitting for a little while so they gave us Freshly cooked fries. Also we order quarter pounders and the bacon was overcooked.

It's a McDonald's. Service was okay, food was okay, but they had no condiments or fountain drink machine for use. Had to ask them every time I wanted ice or more ketchup. Overall, okay experience. What can I say.

Your average fast food restaurant. Prices are getting slightly high compared to other brand name fast food restaurants. Burgers and chicken nuggets are very flavorful and moist.

Food came out pretty quickly. Mcdoubles were made inconsistently...1 had 2 slices of cheese and didnt melt, the other had a burger that was in pieces but still thrown on there, but seemed to taste ok.

Ordered quarter pounder without cheese and when I got it you could see that they had just pulled off the cheese from the sandwich which left cheese residue on it. Burger was also beat up and crumbly.

McDonald's is like everywhere else thats fast food.. Overrated the drive thru takes forever because the kids that work there are constantly on their phones. At 5 out of 10 times they will mess up your order. The only thing guaranteed here is that youll over pay

Told me they have a line full of people in side. Waiting 10 mins. Still needs to know people are outside too and can’t forget about them. I get everywhere is short staff. But you need to take turns inside and out

I don't like their hamburgers. I prefer Burger King over McDonald's. The hamburgers have a better flavor. Plus they also have onion rings.

I don't know why I keep giving this location money. It used to be a hit or miss but there is almost always something wrong with either my order or my food is burned. Do people not care about the food they cook and serve to people? If you wouldn't eat it burned why serve it? McDonald's used to be my favorite fast food restaurant. Now it's my least favorite place.

I'm sorry, but why is the unsweetened iced tea this cloudy? I was afraid to drink it. Please clean your machine. Otherwise this location is fine.

Well at least it's the same where ever you go but I'm not a fan, never was. Burgers seem salty. Food in a pinch or on the major highways. My kids like it so once in a while I stop. Service is consistent but again not my cup of tea.

We just got home from McDonald's in alden. My chicken sandwich was overcooked and the roll was burnt. My husband's big Mac was also way overcooked as were the fries. Second time we tried this place this month. Won't go back!

I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. I have never seen such a thin piece of chicken. It looks like a nugget rolled out to cover some of the roll. I've had this in other McDonalds and never this small.

I got the number 2 and it tasted like chemicals. Not sure if the grill was rinsed off from the Cleaning. Ever thing was hot so I give them that.

Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich was overcooked and cold couldn't even melt the cheese, fries were undercooked and cold my Large beverage was filled completely with ice hardly any Dr Pepper in it, it took 15+ minutes to get my order so I didn't bother to say anything because I didn't have the time to wait to get new items, goes without saying not going back here and they probably don't care.

Just exactly what it is …. fast food … tines you go it’s fresh, other times it’s not even warm enough to melt the cheese. Love how they push up the bottom of the fry box to short change customers on portion. I alway open bag pop the bottom back down and ask them to properly fill the container.

The food here just really just isn't good. Everything always tastes like its been sitting out for hours. Could use better management to keep items fresh. But hey, at least it keeps me from ordering mcdonald's unless I'm really hungry and have no groceries at home. Another plus is rarely ever any line, probably due to no one wanting to eat here because the foods never fresh.

Food quality over last 5 visits has just gone from bad to worse. Clean and staff is friendly but the food always seems dried out, overcooked and assembled in a manner that screams I don't care about what I am serving you.

They owe me 1.50 for coffee that they had me wait outside of drive thru and when I went inside they told me that all of their coffee makers where broke. I asked for my money back and the manager walked away from me. This place is a freaking joke. I'm calling the main head quarters they don't need to be paid freaking 15.00 a hour more like 2.50 and that is too much.

Ordered 2 Steak Egg and cheese bagels on 12/1/2014 1 of 2 had a lang black hair I figured stuff happens, I went again today 12/2/2014 around 7:15 A.M. ordered 2 Steak Egg and Cheese Bagels with extra grilled onions... My first one had a black hair roughly 3" long in it again... these were made fresh, the girl at the window even had me pull forward and wait. I thought to myself, sweet fresh Steak Egg and Cheese Bagels.. Excited to eat I took a bite, I then pulled a hair out of my food.. I called and explained my issue from both yesterday and today. I was offered 2 free bagels or a refund on the 2 that had hair. No additional compensation offered, all 4 should have been refunded. I won't go back for the free bagels, no telling what I'll get at this point. I will no longer eat at the McDonalds of 12755 Broadway, Alden NY Tim Horton's offers breakfast sandwiches cheaper and I have never had a hair in my food from Tim Hortons

Went there for a sprite, got a side of what appears to be mouse feces in my drink. Beware you may come in contact with biohazard materials when you come there.

Asked for 1/4 pounder with cheese meal. Asked if I could sub soda for a mcflurry or just get one because I had drinks at home. Anyway the dumb kid said yes then charged me for the 1/4 pounder the fries and mcflurry seperately... I refuse to go back there is an amazing Chinese place nearby tops and subway...

This place is disgusting. Today december 19 we get there my son had a big mac and and bread was hard as a rock. The drink had HAIR too!! Awful!! Im sorry but never again!

Lobby open until 10pm per sign on door. Get there at 9:20pm, already closed.

Asked for a kids cheeseburger plain, went on to describe how plain - girl taking order rudely says "I know what plain is." Get order, burger not plain. Get your job right. It's not that hard.

My husband and I stopped by for some dinner, took a while to be waited on, only to find out the restaurant was being ran by all young kids, not one adult on site, the dining room was dirty, all the tables needed to be cleaned, garbage needed to be taken out.. no one in sight.. At one point looked like there was no one in the kitchen.. Wish I had better news for this location but I don’t.. 😩

Slowest McDonald's in WNY. I used to go in in the morning for coffee, but the manager is so busy talking to customers she has to ask you 4 or 5 times what your order is and then she feels the need to fill every food order for every other customer prior to getting your coffee. I'm not sure how you hear 3 cream and 2 sugar when the customer asked for 2 cream. More listen, less talking. If they were busy, I'd understand, but they have very few morning customers. I'm thinking because people are trying to get to work and not have a long conversation with the manager.

Probably some of the most entitled and rudest workers that i've encountered. If the app does not give you the order number, but you are charged, they grill and are rude to you. To the point where you don't want to eat the food that they make you, because they will probably do something to. I'm especially talking to the people that work the evening shift. All I had to do was give them the name of the order...but they have to scold you on how I was wrong when the app was glitching.

Not only is the quality of their food dropping dramatically within the last few years, but service is also seriously lacking. I remember when a hamburger patty was as wide in diameter to fit the bun. They once had the best fries in the industry! Back then the chicken nuggets were not dried out husks of leather either. It's amazingly sad what this company has become... Mark my words well, I will never order from this corporation again in my life. Likewise, I would not advise you to order anything from here again either.

As I waited for my food to be handed to me, I read the prices on the menu. I noticed that the cost of each value meal was about $1.50 more than the cost if you added the items in the meal together individually. (I wish I thought to take a photo of the menu itself.) When I pointed this out to the woman behind the counter, she didn't have a good explanation. Make sure you check the prices before paying the additional cost!

Some of the most unpersonable snots I've come across in awhile. High prices and slopped together to boot! Bare minimal effort at best! $3.20 plus tax for a Little darn Fake Cream Sundae!? I Would have rather went and spent my money at the little Pink family owned Ice cream shack down the road!

Our food is always messed up and they dont even seem to care. I wont be returning after my son was supposed to get a cheeseburger happy meal it had no meat in it. Another time the chicken nugget box was filled with tarter sauce not chicken nuggets.

App and google claim that they are open and you can order for the 3rd time the ignorant employees claim it “always” closes at 11.

One of the worst McDonalds around. The employees don't even stop their conversations with other workers when you want to place and order. Often the order is wrong and almost always I get cold fries and a tough beef-like patty. Always barely clean and pretty drab inside. Almost all the employees define the term surly. Ugh!

My experience at this McDonald's was probably the worst I have ever had in my entire life and I'm 52 years old. My biscuit was hard I had to spit it out that's how hard it was for the first bite, my hash brown was cold and hard I had to ask for a freshly deep-fried one, my burrito was burning up but my English muffin was cold and hard. So my suggestion to you, don't eat at this location.

Almost $40 and I get 2 large very old cold dried fries, 50 dried out cold nuggets, Big Mac with meat patty burnt and cold, very thin, double quarter pounder with burn patties and dried. Do better

Ordered sausage burritos To go. Burritos had two little tiny pieces of sausage and rest was ONLY cheese. Complained to manager wanted something different and wouldn't exchange because I had left store with it. Never will I stop at a McDonald's again. BATHROOM WAS CLEAN. ONE STAR FOR IT.

Well for 21.00. .my chicken sandwich had no lettuce or tomatoes. No mayo. And the fries were over cooked and hard. Never will I eat at a McDonald's again . Waste of money It SUCKED

I literally waited for 27 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers and a med coke. They tried giving me a small fry for the wait. I gave it back... so disappointed in the service. This is definitely not fast food

Really lousy and expensive lived in Alden 20years never had hot food finally finished with this place almost 13 dollars for a Big Mac combo this is a good value? Save your money grab something at Tops you will be a lot happier

tried new bacon bbq cheeseburger. it was just ok. bun was very dark from toasting and we paid close to $18 for a single and a double of these burgers. what a rip off. we never git food from here again.

I live by this McDonald’s, everytime we come here the sweet tea is cloudy and gross. They mess up our order all the time and never change the fryer oil. Even the pickles aren’t the same at this McDonald’s. I’m not one to complain but it’s awful for how much McDonald’s cost. We’ve lived in the area for a little over a year.

Update - they do not know how to make a burger correctly and have messed up my last 12 orders in a row. Very unprofessional. They close early consistently without updating it on the website so you waste your time coming to the location just to see it closed 30 minutes early.

some girl with a long braid and brown hair was extremely rude. I ordered a diet coke along with my families order and explained to her i just needed the diet coke first because my daughter was waiting in the parking lot in her own car for her diet coke before work and she was going to be late. she said nothing in response and nodded her head. she proceeded to walk away from the window where the drinks were for multiple minutes and we were forced to knock on the window to literally get one drink. she then gives us our food and EVERY OTHER drink in our order besides the diet coke and very clearly took her time getting the diet coke to us. not to mention this mcdonald’s almost every time i go here messes up my order some how. definitely not fast food. rude immature employees.

Worse .meal I have ever had. Only ordered 2 meals. 2 deluxe chicken sandwich meals. Chicken must have gone BACK in frier it was so over cooked. Employees tried to take old product and make me believe it was hot and fresh. Instead it was overcooked and dried out. The fries I received where the worse I ever had. They where so bad I dog would not eat them. .so I am out 23.00 for 2 meals and they don't care . Could have gone to a restaurant and got waited on for less money and better quality.

Worst McDonalds in the area. The fries area always dry and cold. For $4.19 for fries they could at least be edible. Nothing is fresh made... The Depew McDonalds is way better. Try somewhere else.

I very seldom go to McDonald’s. Today I went through the Alden drive through. I ordered a double quaterpounder cheeseburger value meal, medium size with a Sprite, light ice. What I received was a double quarter pounder burger with the bun hanging half out the box, ketchup and mustard dripping down the side of the package and all over my pants when I pulled it out. The burgers were over cooked, black, burnt and tasted as such. The medium fry container was barely half full. Less than a small fry in a medium container. The medium Sprite with light ice that I ordered, turned out to be a small water with extra ice. Complete incompetence from the staff that was paying no attention to their work, and rather laughing amongst themselves. Horrible food, horrible service and my order wasn’t even half right. I will never go there again and I don’t recommend you do either.

Terrible, ignorant workers 9:28 pm pulled up to the drive thru... the male said YA WHAT DO WANT? I said 1 second... he said,SO WHAT DO YA WANT? I chuckled, and said really,is that how you take orders?he said YEP.. THATS HOW IT STARTS! I pulled outta line without saying anything else! I called the store right away, the male who picked up the phone said.. Ya what's up!!! Lol. Let me trust you with my food ! Ignorant I will not go there again! My first visit to the state of New York, my husband ordered a caramel sundae and the cashier took another customer that just walked in ahead of us that wasn't in line before us and was rude when taking his order as well as giving him his receipt by placing it on the counter. We were very dissatisfied and disheartened by her actions because we usually get great service. Sad to say but this particular McDonalds establishment will NOT be visited by us ever again.😞

This is the Mushroom and Swiss burger they gave me. I stopped going to them for over a year and only stopped recently because it was the only fast food place out there. For now on I'll drive 20 minutes out of my way and go to Burger King.

Mobile ordered for myself and my family and everything was messed up. No salt on the fries, all the burgers were missing ingredients, no ice in any of the drinks, one of the drinks was half full, old toys (that's whatever but I figured I'd mention), and missing 3 chocolate milks. One or two mistakes is one thing but 6 in one order that they had time to prepare before I even left the house!? Absolutely not. Do better.

I never leave reviews so believe me, this was BAD. Got food poisoning at this location in December (drive-thru 12/23/2025 at 2:23pm). A family member just went to the same location two days ago (1/26/26) and had food poisoning. Already reached out to customer service to let them know but I am definitely NOT going back to this location.

I went to this location with my little son, who would be going there 1st time in his life, and was excited to get happy meal and a toy! I looked on google maps and checked on McDonalds app, that’s it’s open today on 12-25-25, I made an order, payed for it 20$ and was sure we are good to go and pick it up. The doors were locked, my son had a meltdown for an hour, there was no one. I cannot get a refund in app and my bank charged me for that order. I have no idea how to get my money back, and that is a horrible customer service experience for me and even more for my son who cried for so long. If an app didn’t take orders or at least didn’t charge me for it, or had an option for refund that would be better….

I went through the drive thru on Sunday around 10am. The speaker wasn't working very well, but I heard the girl confirm that I ordered a number 1 (egg mcmuffin meal). I got to the window and she told me I owed $4 and change. I said that couldn't be my order as I had ordered a meal. She looked at the screen confused and said she didn't have my order. She was very blase about it and said she just didn't put it in. She did say it would be out shortly. I said okay, thank you. I don't know what happened, but when I went to open up my bag and eat my meal, the sandwich had just been thrown in the bag- no wrapper or anything. The different parts of the sandwich were strewn around the bottom of the bag and all parts of the sandwich were cold. The english muffin hadn't even been toasted. It was horrible and a complete waste of money.

Made a mobile order through app at 11pm when google and the app both said it closed at 12. drove 20 minutes from my location to find the inside mcdonald’s dim, but 5-6 cars in the driveway, so I pulled in to see a group of 8-9 people sitting, in the dark eating away, and was then told that they close at 11. Embarrassing.

hey so little issue, i saw a girl in a blue shirt chomping down on song tasty fries. her bare, grubby, stinky, mits. we told her to stop repeatedly, but she did not listen. i happen to work at a separate location and me, nor my colleagues would ever even dream of for taking in this sinful act. the only reason this has 1 star, is because that’s the lowest i could give, they have brought great dishonor to the micdonalds family. be warned…

Horrible I watched them take care of 10 drive thru orders while waiting for my order that was preordered probably 15 minutes prior to leaving the house now I’m gonna be late to my doctors appointment after I pre-ordered like I was supposed to so that I didn’t have to wait only to be told that it’s coming not and I’m sorry or anything completely pathetic and unacceptable. I will not be returning to this McDonald’s.

Very disorganized, asked for no mustard on my sandwich and still out it on . I also redeemed a large fry with my points and they gave me a medium. Also our food order took bit longer when we got basic items. Two people ordered ahead us and got their food before us. This isn't the first we try to go there and they mess up our order. This location def needs improvement.

Every time I go there I wonder why I've gone back. Most of the time my order is wrong but every single time the fries are cold. I live so close I can walk. So when my husband gets me some fries, on his way home (in the car) they should be hot. Not even a little warm!! I called and they answer "yeah, what's up?" I get the manager, tell him my experience, and he says, "so why you calling then?" Fast food is not hard. I worked in food service for 10 years. That job is specifically for kids but the kids in Alden clearly don't care. I'm hoping to get a hold of the store owner or day manager so they know how rude and careless the night staff is. I will NEVER go back to that place again!
