Great experience - amazing food, super attentive service and a nice cozy atmosphere in the restaurant (loved the mandarin decor on the tables). It’s our second time here, we always stop for dinner in this restaurant when we drive through Alessandria, definitely a must try if you’re around! The meal starts with a cream of cauliflower on the house, which is a very nice touch, delicious. For the main - highly recommend the ravioli with truffle and fondue! The fig cheesecake and the chocolate fondant was a favorite of ours for dessert. Can’t wait to come again as soon as we’re in the region ☺️

We love visiting this small but welcoming restaurant in the heart of Alessandria for any occasion, whether as a couple or with friends. Fish dishes, including raw fish upon request, and meat dishes are carefully prepared. The wine list is extensive. Friendly staff. In the summer, you can dine outside on the square overlooking the city's cathedral.

Sono stata in questo ristorante pensando di assaggiare la cucina tipica alessandrina e invece...ho trovato una cucina fusion. Superato lo sconcerto iniziale ho avuto modo di deliziarmi con le pietanz…

Ogni singolo piatto Ottimo, cottura perfetta del riso. Unica pecca, eravamo in 4 a tavola, il mio antipasto è arrivato almeno 5 minuti dopo gli altri, successivamente il risotto che lo abbiamo preso in 2 è arrivato con un ritardo tale che gli altri due a tavola avevano già finito i loro primi. Certamente sono venuti per dire che il riso aveva un leggero ritardo, ma se il tavolo è formato da 4 persone bisogna cercare di servire tutti insieme e non attendere così tanto. In ogni caso personale molto gentile e cortese.

Trovare un tavolo al Porfido è veramente una fortuna. Carino accogliente intimo piatti curati tutto davvero apprezzabile.Da ritornare sicuramente sperando di trovare il tavolo! Bravi ragazzi!

Preso coupon con groupon esperienza meravigliosa! Piatti buonissimi a base di pesce. Menù straordinario completo e veramente ben fatto! Complimenti allo chef ma anche al servizio! Diciamo che l offerta scontata ha pagato tantissimo l esperienza... senza sconto..da provare comunque! Bravi!

The restaurant is very well-maintained and unique. Weather permitting, you can dine outside while enjoying the view of Piazza del Duomo. They also have an impressive wine selection. The menu is always varied and seasonal. Reservations are required.

A restaurant with excellent value for money We ate well, and upon our arrival, the house served us a welcome appetizer. The menu was a welcome change from what we're used to finding on the menu in an Alexandrian restaurant. The fish was high-quality and the ingredients were treated with respect. The only downside was the lack of a wine list, which prevents guests from consulting their friends or girlfriend about the price and the wine to choose. Otherwise, it was a pleasant dinner. I'll definitely be back.

Spaghetti Cacio e Peppe is the most requested dish, and for good reason! It's excellent. The service is slow, but it's rewarded with tasty, balanced dishes. The menu offers a wide range of red and white meats and fish. It's a great place to be.

The wait was incredibly long, 1 hour and 30 minutes from when we came in for the appetizers... We asked for an explanation, and the waiter replied, "It's not our fault if people are late, everything will be out soon, don't worry." After 10 minutes (after the complaint), the food arrived! The appetizers and first courses were delicious!!!! No!

Consiglio di prenotare perché nel weekend è sempre pieno. Mix di piatti di pesce e di terra con anche delle proposte del giorno. Io ho preso come antipasto un insalata di mare con avocado. Molto buon…

La carta dei vini non esiste e viene quindi elencata a voce, per cui per sapere i prezzi devi chiedere, il che risulta fastidioso e poco trasparente; il ricarico sui vini è abbastanza alto.
