Hago un llamamiento a todos los caballas que nunca saben donde comer cerca del puerto cuando vienen/van a coger el ferry. Este es vuestro sitio. Calidad altísima. Raciones abundantes. En la misma playa del Rinconcillo; a 5 minutos del puerto. Buenísimo el arroz

He ido ya varias veces. Es un sitio peculiar, no ves extranjeros, solo gente local. Te reciben con un plato de boquerones fritos obsequio de la casa. La carta es cantada, amplia, de los precios te enteras cuando pides la cuenta, pero siempre está lleno. Puedes salir por 50€/persona incluyendo algún marisco, pescado, vino y postre. El servicio es rápido y agradable. Ya digo, he repetido varias veces, he llevado amigos que han salido encantados y lo recomiendo.

Very close to the beach, parking next by at cheap price (0.6€ unlimited time). The restaurant was very busy so we had to wait quite some time for clean table. No menu only waiter recommendations. Quick service. Very good food. Reasonable prices.

I went here for an evening meal. I hadn’t booked, but they found me a table. This was one of the best meals I’ve had for a long time. The service was very good. The atmosphere was great fun and the food was absolutely delicious. I had a tuna salad to start with followed by a white fish with a very delicate source. It was cooked perfectly.

Absolutely fantastic place, we came there two days in a row! The whole experience was extraordinary: from the very entrance, the design of the restaurant, the smiles on the faces of the staff, the speed of delivery of the dishes and the friendliness of the people. The food was brilliant, I haven't had such fresh seafood before. On top of that, at reasonable prices. You can read in the reviews that the restaurant does not have a menu, but there is a good reason for that. The seafood is always fresh and offered depending on what is purchased from the fishing boat that day. For this reason, not everything is always available, for example, on Mondays there is less choice. Perhaps at least a menu with photos of the dishes would be useful, so that it is clear what the dish is called?

Had lunch there on Saturday and it was amazing! We had clams, white prawns, chipirones and white chocolate pistachio cake . Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh fish and lovely presented. Fantastic staff, excellent service- super attentive. Will sure be back when in the area!!

This is one of the best fish restaurants I ever visited. Food is an art to them! The way they present the food is fantastic. It's not only the presentation, the preparation is also fantastic, very tasty food. This restaurant is family run for nearly 40 years and mostly it's the family members who serve you. The staff is very helpful. I had no difficulty in communicating with them in English. Well, don't expect the same level of English speaking as in the UK or USA. There is no menu. But they will come and describe you what's available that day. They change the menu based on the availability of fish. You will never regret going there for a dinner. Obviously quality comes with a cost, but not too high. It's open 7 days a week, during noon and night. Very clean and uniformed staff. The beach is very close, but you cannot see from the restaurant. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys food.

A spot you definitely shouldn't miss if you're around these parts! Like, actually delicious food and we didn't wait much either. All of the staff was super sweet and even though the seafood is absolutely fantastic I would say the dessert was life changing, really really recommend it, leave an empty spot in your belly for it.

No hay carta. Se come lo que ha entrado de pesca en el día. El inconveniente es que no sabes lo que te va a costar. Todo lo que pedimos estaba superior, los calamares a la plancha, el gallo de S. Pedro, la borriquita al horno, los filetitos de corvina e incluso los garbanzos de vigilia y el paté que te ponen de aperitivo estaban de rechupete. Salimos a unos 40 € por cabeza con tres postres, un café 3 cervezas, agua,acuarios, doble de pan..en fin para volver.

Fui recomendado por unos amigos. Vivo fuera de Algeciras y aproveché una salida para conocerlo. No tuve problema reservando una hora y media antes. Fue un viernes mediodía en la terraza. Nos sorprendió el precio y calidad de las gambas rojas, pedimos tambien mero y almejas. El postre de frutos rojos con crema de payoyo espectacular. El servicio rápido y atento. Hay mucho personal trabajando y se nota. Muy recomendable. Hay cerca un parking al aire libre.

Muy caro, la comida no estaba mal, aunque el arroz meloso de carabineros poco sabor a carabineros y mucho sabor a tomate, además 25 € me parece excesivo cuando era arroz para una persona, las zamburiñas muy buenas, el tartar no estaba mal pero no sé si era el aliño, pero mataba el sabor del atún, los calamares a la plancha muy buenos pero excesivamente caro. También lento para las comidas y demasiado rápido para la bebida, cuando te veían con el vaso vacío, sin preguntar, ya te traían otra, cuando a lo mejor querías cambiar de bebida.

Comida excelente, servicio atento e impecable. Por poner un pero, no tienen carta alegando que trabajan el producto fresco diario (cierto) pero pides sin saber el precio de cada cosa a no ser que preguntes producto por producto

Se come muy bien El servicio es agradable y bastante profesional. La verdad es que no lo había probado nunca y me ha gustado mucho sin embargo el día no era el más adecuado porque había muchos comensales por las fiestas. Lo único que no me ha gustado es qué no te den una carta donde poder elegir tranquilamente y sobre todo conocer los precios de los artículos que te van servir o que te ofrecen, para no llevarte ninguna sorpresa. Me ha parecido un poco alto de precio para la cantidad que hemos comido aunque el camarero insistió en que no pidiera más. Los postres si, muy buenos todos, caseros y enormes. Finalmente recomendable.

The tuna tartare appetizer was fantastic, the best. The baked fish was fresh. The service and atmosphere were great. The reason we rated this restaurant with a 4: we were looking to have something like lobsters, maybe. The soup and bread were served before we were informed of our dinner options. Agree with some of the other comments, if the options of the day were on the wall or a piece of paper, we could make a decision before sitting down. Other than that, the experience was great. Nice spot, but watch your wallet Cute little place near the beach with a chill vibe and super friendly service. Unfortunately, they don’t offer a menu or show prices — which felt off. We ordered a simple local dish and were shocked when the bill came. It was easily 50% more than what you’d pay at similar spots nearby. Great staff, but the lack of transparency left a bad taste. Go for the atmosphere, but ask prices up front.

So sorry to leave this review but it really wasn't that good and as for the comments of being cheap it most definitely was not. So the service started good and we were welcomed and seated as expected... Although I gave the waiter free will yo order for us I was left underwhelmed by the meal... Prawns, squid and fried fish - plus a bottle of wine = €115... This is not cheap for Algeciras, for context we have just eaten at one of the top restaurants in Cadiz for almost the same price... Way more options and service... The difference is I left a €30 tip instead of €5...i won't be back, sorry.

A pesar de haber reservado tuvimos que esperar que se quedase una mesa libre. Había muchísima gente en la puerta esperando. Mucho ruido. Utilizaban nuestra mesa para apoyar los platos de otras mesas. Nos sentamos antes que dos mesas y empezaron a comer ellos antes que nosotros. La comida esta riquísima pero ha perdido el encanto al querer abarcar más clientes de lo que pueden.

Reservamos una mesa en la terraza por qué íbamos con 2 perritos y se agradece mucho que te dejen pasar a la terraza cubierta con ellos. Para empezar nos sentamos antes de tiempo y ya comienzan las prisas y las contestaciones fuera de lugar, si no quieres que me siente por qué tienes un turno antes, no me importa quedarme tomando algo, pero no me metas prisa por pedir. Pedimos las tostas de tartar y un rape a la plancha, las primeras están muy buenas y el rape, de muy buena calidad, más que a la plancha parecía cocido, quizás por ponerlo sobre la plancha fría. Lo poco que duró nuestra comida parecía que tenían prisa por llevarse los platos, constantemente preguntando si podían retirar y provocandonos la sensación de apuro. No disfrutamos nada la comida y mucho menos para el precio que tiene.

I gave one star because there’s no other choice ! First as an American visiting Spain , there’s no menu to choose from. their answer is they don’t always get the same fish which is nonsense !!! ! The waiter literally gives you 10 options lowest is about $20 after they put some old bread on the table without you asking for it so that they push you to get the food . Then they rush you while you’re eating they come take plates piece of bread over your head . Now let’s get into the food , you get the fish plain nothing extra with it , no veggies , no salad and no sauce . Calamari was so oily ! For $50 you can definitely enjoy better places . Save yourself your time and your money because it’s not worth it ! I hope most of you reads this review . Don’t let them fool you they charge $2 a head which means whether you like it or not you give them tips without you agreeing to it ! I don’t recommend !!! It’s a shame
