I am from Utah. First time to Long Beach. 54-years old and one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. Great bun, amazingly seasoned and cooked burger. "FTW" (Winger Burger just Meat, Cheese and Bun). Fries were great. Employees were friendly and helpful. Great Music. Sat outside and enjoyed the nice bay area breeze. I look forward to going back. Great Value.

This was a great find right on the beach. The burgers are over the top yet well executed. Be ready to bring your appetite. Be ready to find parking. Better to park on the main streets and walk a couple of smallish blocks or ride your motorcycle.

This place isn’t just a restaurant it’s a sacred temple of heavy metal and meat, and me and my husband are fully devoted disciples. Let me talk about the Long Beach Dirtbag Burger, because this beast deserves its own song. I always get it double style because anything less would be a betrayal. Chipotle ketchup, chili cheese, garlic aioli, melty American cheese, and DEEP. FRIED. BACON. Yes, you read that right. This burger doesn’t whisper flavor it kicks down the door with a flaming guitar solo and screams it in your face. It’s pure carnivorous chaos in the BEST way. But just when I thought life couldn’t get better… they dropped the Long Beach Dirtbag Fries basically everything but the patties, and EVERYTHING my chili cheese fry dreams were missing. These fries didn’t just hit they rearranged my soul. I took one bite and literally said, “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?” My husband locked eyes with me like we just fell in love all over again. These fries changed our lives. And speaking of my husband he recently got to sink his teeth into the Cowboy from Hell, and it was everything he hoped for. BBQ grilled chicken, jalapeño bacon, red onion, lettuce, garlic aioli, and that fierce Mosh Pit BBQ sauce brought it all together. It’s not his all time favorite (that honor goes to the mythical Joey Belladonna Burger which better make a comeback or we riot), but the Cowboy is definitely up there. He said it tasted better than ever, and honestly, I’ve never seen him so excited to eat a burger! Grill ‘Em All is where burgers are forged in the fires of Mount Metal. It’s loud. It’s wild. It’s greasy, cheesy glory wrapped in buns and baptized in sauce. If you’ve ever wanted to eat a burger that makes you question the meaning of life in the best possible way this is the place. This isn’t just food it’s a lifestyle. A thunderous, flavor blasted, headbanging reminder that metal and meat were always meant to be together. Really nice location (Horny Corner for the locals) that has a nice beach landscape leading you to fun in the sun and then able to have a beer and burger afterwards. The burger was tender and not greasy, and the fries were light, airy and crisp. Known for their novelty metal themed layout and burgers , I would definitely come back and make this a regular local come to on my rotating menu of things I'd love to eat. Awesome rotating beer selections as well.

Believe the hype! These guys have among the best burgers in the greater Los Angeles area. Located on the water, there's a great view, great atmosphere, and if you're a metal head, great music. But if you're not a metal head, it's not obnoxiously loud either. The Behemoth burger sounds like a gimmick - the top and bottom "bun" are grilled cheese sandwiches. THAT IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION. The middle is actually delectable burger that frankly should be a mess to eat.... but it's not. That's the other thing with this place. The burgers are huge, but they're not messy. I made the "mistake" of getting the dirt bag fries. They were amazing. I put mistake in quotes because frankly it was just too much food for two people. If you like beer, these guys have an impressive selection. If you don't like beer, the only area they lack is non-alcoholic drink selection. It's water, unsweetened iced tea, and coke products. So nothing to deduct a star for. My wife ordered the bulldozer, which was the featured burger of the month - pretty much a caprese salad with a burger. She loved it. Burgers are cooked to order, and they do a great job with that. Because everything is fresh, expect to wait a bit for your food. But you'll be on the beach, so you couldn't possibly care less. Loved this spot and will be back.

I cannot express how much I enjoyed my lunch here. It’s located on a small street with limited parking so I’d recommend arriving early or in between lunch and dinner. After you find parking it’s a nice little stroll to this little shack like building. It has some seating inside but most seating is outside and some on the second level. You get a nice view of the beach and people out in the water while you enjoy your meal. The staff was super friendly and were very courteous after I had mentioned it was my first time. They recommended the Ozzy Osbourne burger and High on Fries which were both quite the experience that I highly recommend to anyone. The Ozzy Osbourne was succulent and rich with flavor, to make things better it came on a black bun. The High on Fries were absolutely delicious, the fries were cooked to perfection, the buffalo shredded chicken was hot and drenched in buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing and I couldn’t stop eating them. Overall I spent $29.50 for a burger, loaded fries and a soft drink and it was well worth it(the burger and fries can easily be split for two people). I sat on the second level of the building and it was such a nice vibe to just sit in the sun, eat a good meal while watching people enjoy the beach. The food was spectacular and I will definitely be back with friends to try some more options.

This place was a little off the wall, next to the basketball courts and beach rental shop. BUT, the food was freggin' great, and customer service was awesome. The view of the bay is nice and probably even better on a Summer day. Very special kind of menu and not the normal for sure, but seems to work well together. I ordered the High on Fries side with the Jump in the Fryer sandwich. If you're in to Chicken N Waffles, I highly suggest it.

Huge portions, great, great food and reasonable prices. My wife had the Napalm death Burger which was excellent, and the fries were probably the best I've ever tasted. I had the high on fire salad, and there must have been at least 4 or 5 oz of blue cheese crumbles on top of the salad. Top all of that with a great view of Alamitos Bay and the beach, and it's pretty hard to beat this place.

Walking in I was surrounded by metal music memorabilia and 1997 monday night raw playing on the TV so I knew this place was amazing already. Staff was super friendly and the food was amazing. Hands down the best burger i have ever had and will always be my MUST have every time I visit LA. Also, The view on the beach is to die for.

New location is absolutely great. Right on the beach. I had the Napalm Death and my Wife had the Behemoth. These burgers are giant! Just enough heat on the Napalm and you can basically break the Behemoth into two grilled cheese sandwiches and a burger. The fries are super tasty as well. Can't wait to make our way back down. Congrats on the new location...🤘

Very solid, and nice to have a good local "shack style" burger place nearby. It was a little bit pricey and could've been hotter when served - they deserve a 4.5 if we're splitting hairs, but I'm rounding up due to the unique menu, quality food, good service, and the vibe. I got a "Behemoth" which is a patty, bacon, onions, sauce, and pickles sitting between two entire grilled cheese sandwiches, acting as the buns - the name does it justice, I could only finish half due to the enormity, and I saved the other half due to the quality. The primate fries with thousand island, onions, and cheese were also good. I'll be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grill 'Em All in Long Beach, California, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I ordered the Behemoth burger, animal style fries, a fresh salad, and two beers, and every item was a culinary delight. The Behemoth burger was a masterful creation—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The combination of toppings and the quality of the meat made each bite a heavenly experience. The animal style fries were the perfect accompaniment, loaded with a generous amount of toppings that made them irresistible. Even the salad was a standout, fresh and crisp, providing a nice balance to the indulgent burger and fries. Adding to the experience was the music selection; with Immortal playing on the speakers, it set an epic and energetic mood that made the meal even more enjoyable. The ambiance was perfect for anyone who appreciates a great atmosphere along with their food. Parking was convenient, with plenty of spaces available right across the street. It made the entire visit hassle-free. The views of the water from the restaurant were stunning and added a serene backdrop to the hearty meal. Overall, Grill 'Em All in Long Beach offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, great music, and a perfect setting. I can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal.

I’ve been wanting to come to this location, I have to say that I was not disappointed. I’ve been told to order the Samoa Joe burger, and wow, very delicious. Every bite was flavorful, this burger has pineapples, and was shocked to learn how great It taste. A huge plus for this location is the huge amount of beers they have, while mostly in can, they also have beers on tap. The fries were crunchy but not burnt. Overall a great experience, I will definitely come back to try other burgers. Location is pretty small, but plenty of seating. The food takes a little while to get to the table, but worth the wait. Plenty of parking behind the theater, friendly staff and great food.

Decent nachos and the service kinda sucked even tho I was one of the only ppl at the bar lol.

Came here on a Tuesday night, we got the nachos appetizer, ribeye and Cajun chicken pasta. There was more chicken than pasta and it was well seasoned. The ribeye was decent and the nachos had good taco seasoning layered. We got to watch the dodger game. For price, quality and service I would come back here.

Quite Loud🤬 Reason Being Sports Game Night Fans Cheering Screaming Yelling🙉🙊🙈 My sister and I were there dining. It wasn't quiet as usually it is. Don't ever go on a game sports night cuz you won't be able to hear one another talk or have any conversation. Other than that it was relatively good restaurant to eat. The sports bar is right next to the dining room. It's not even separated so you don't have really have much of a choice!!

The atmosphere is this place is awesome. The seating is also pretty cool as you can eat upstairs where you can overlook at the water. The service was great too! The food was a solid as well. I got the winger which is like their classic burger and the waste em all. The winger was a decent burger and I would say the bun steals the show as it is perfectly toasted. The waste em all was a decent burger but the green chilis overtake the flavor of the burger. Overall, this place was great and I would definitely come back for the vibes and to try different burgers.

Food is decent, beers are good for what they are and the view is really nice from the roof. Sunny day, slight breeze and a beer makes for a good Sunday afternoon

A great place for buns and brews by the beach! They have a great selection of beers, burgers and fries. We ordered the Waste 'em All and the Behemoth, a beer and fries. All of which were tasty but …

We ordered all you can eat bundle for ribs, wings, shrimp, fountain. Friday night is a busy night, so they miss you order sometimes. I wait my ribs for 30 mins. More employees are required in busy hour, otherwise customer will lost patience.

Servers and hostess were great. Appetizers were good, drinks were good, but the food is not the same anymore. Every time I order pasta with chicken it's under cooked, I started getting ribs and they are always burnt I get extra BBQ to see if it helps with the burnt flavor but no. I don't know what's been going on lately but it's not what it used to be.

Context: Store closes at midnight and I came with my 9months pregnant wife right around 11pm. We just wanted to get one of the desserts. They gave us the option to sit down at the bar so I asked them if we could sit on the padded seat booths instead of high rise chairs since my wife was pregnant and also the fact that the couple right in front of us was seated at the booths and there were other people sitting there as well as seen in the pictures. Anyways, we ended up sitting at the bar area and ordered the dessert which was good. But the customer service made me give this rating.

First time at a Applebee's with Wife and kids. We were greeted by a lady asking how many. I said five. She put us down and looked at the restaurant for five seconds and told us "Give us about ten minutes.". We sat down and I looked into the restaurant. I observed many waitresses walking around. They have a bar island in the middle of the restaurant. It was a Sunday so it was busy. We got called and were sat at our table with menus ready. We waited for 12 minutes before a server acknowledge us, to let us know they would be with us, yet many servers were talking near the entrance. (Hmm...it was Sunday and busy...) When our server came she asked us for our drink orders and when we did she asked if we needed more time to order. (Uh really?!?) "We're actually ready!" We placed our order. Kids got their dish. Wife and I were not impressed. I had really small portions and my wife's meal tasted like a frozen meal heated on a skillet(or microwave). Maybe because it was Sunday, and it was busy we hardly got any attention (yet the servers and waitresses hanged out in the front talking). Maybe I was expecting to much. We probably could have done better at Wendy's then here. Coming back? No thanks. Tried it, disappointed. I had to try it. I did. They did not leave a good impression. Thanks but no thanks.

The servers are always the best but the chefs (probably) are always messing up my stuff, I ordered medium well and they gave me well done, which is okay but the steak was so burnt I chipped my tooth, it was a small chip but it still sucks 😭. My husband ordered well done but got a bloody steak instead, the server said they would try to remove one of the items from the bill for the inconvenience but left it the same. I understand it was Valentine’s Day and it was super busy but it kind of ruined our dinner.

The food was expect when coming to any Applebees but they had mentioned that the food was cook homemade at the restaurant. Not only that I had flagged the manger "Ellie" the closing manger about the food not tasting right and wasn't good and said what should I do with ? And continues to say we get it frozen , package and put in a fryer, Looked at me in confusion and not trying to understand the issue. Like you guys don't know how to use a fryer or what ? , So I said I would like a refund and said alright then. And rolls her eyes in front in me. As a manger myself and to be treated with no respect and with no empathy about how I was feeling as a consumer. Not only that she was repeatedly rude to her own workers/employees while closing with her fellow team. Joseph was fabulous. Thank you Joseph you need a raise. And not only the manger didn't say sorry at all and never came to check in with me. Manager should never show their temper or frustration when working in a social environment and setting . It’s an embarrassment and disgusting to see Applebees is hiring non ethic managers such as “Ellie “ to fulfill a role that is provided in any manger job description and still can’t do the bare minimum. Thank you but no thank you.

I think Applebee's is an okay chain. A tad better than Chili's, but not much. It was national cheeseburger day, so we headed out to Applebee's for a burger. A nice special too! Parking is difficult here, but we found a place to park and walked in. We were seated by a nice young woman. We looked over the menu and said yup, cheeseburger! Our waitress came by - Not friendly at all and it felt like she didn't want to be there. She took our order and barely said a word. The drinks arrived and she put them down and left - no conversation and I don't think she even said a word! Next, the food came. Plates dropped off in silence, then off she went. The food was very salty - I don't like it when they oversalt food. My drink went pretty quickly and I was looking to call our waitress, but she disappeared. I finally grabbed a busboy and he refilled my drink. We finished our meal and our waitress was nowhere to be seen. I asked a gal walking by if she could get our waitress for us. Our waitress came by, refilled our glassed and left. Not a word! We paid our bill and left - VERY DISAPPOINTED! We will not go back to this Applebee's. We know what to expect and this was a huge disappointment.
