Hashi is amazing!! The food is always cooked fresh to order, they have quality ingredients. My husband and I come here often for hibachi & sushi as the prices are so affordable and the portions are huge! But their Thai tea is AMAZING 👏 they make it fresh in house - the perfect amount of sweetness and authentic Thai tea taste. The establishment is always so clean & the staff are the best. Look no further for quality Japanese food here in Allen!

My fiancé and I were struggling to find something to eat this afternoon and found this place nearby on Google! Had good reviews so we decided to check it out, didn’t get any sushi so I can’t say much on that. But we got the lunch special hibachi with chicken and tofu and it was delicious and it really customizable! The tofu specifically had the most perfect texture and flavor, I was really surprised. About $11~ base price for the lunch special and it was a large portion as well, I had to take some home! Also they play some bangers in here, some Japanese restaurants just play whatever but I really appreciate when they actually have some Japanese music playing.

I visited this place today for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the lunch special, which was a bowl with rice, shrimp, beef, and stir-fried vegetables with egg. I also had the fried rangoons, which were truly delicious. My only suggestion would be to serve the rangoons with sweet and sour sauce — it really complements the dish and adds a nice touch. Other than that, everything was excellent. The place is small but very cozy. I really liked the decor, and the service was great. I especially appreciated the multiple ways to order: you can use the self-service kiosk at the entrance, scan a QR code at your table, or order with the cashier. Personally, I loved the kiosk option because I could see pictures of the food, which helps a lot when visiting a new restaurant. Regarding the price, I did find it a bit high. The lunch special cost about $15 and included rice, five shrimp, some beef, and vegetables. Still, the quality of the food was very good and I have no complaints. I would definitely come back and I recommend this place. Everything was well done — they earned a five-star rating.

Came here with my wife to enjoy a lunch. Local owned sushi place with great atmosphere and the price is very reasonable for such fresh sushi. Recommend the hashi and Phoenix roll! We also ordered the chicken karage and fried squid which was crispy and tasty 🤗 Definitely will be back!

Incredible! If you’re looking for hibachi style food in a fast casual setting you will love Hashi Japanese Kitchen! The food was spectacular, protein is plentiful along with healthy vegetables and large portions (we needed a to-go box)! The flavor was delicious in each of our dishes and their homemade sauces are really tasty! We met the Owner, Yang who is awesome and he explained the restaurant concept, described some of the fresh food ingredients, and explained the innovative app and technology used in the restaurant. We sat down at our table, scanned a QR code, selected the items each of us wanted to order, (the app synced our orders into one ticket), once I paid for the order and the transaction was complete… our server immediately brought out water and silverware. Our dishes were cooked quickly and came out hot and ready to enjoy. We ordered and enjoyed the crab rangoons, steak hibachi, and shrimp hibachi. The restaurant is clean, modern with bright colors and fun decor. Service was friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for healthy and delicious food in a fast casual setting, you’ve got to try this place!

It had delicious food! It’s not a proper sit down which is why I rated a little down. You can order online at your seat or at the front. Staff was so nice. Excellent sushi - King Kong Roll was so good I could have eaten more. Hibachi was amazing. Teriyaki was fine. Desserts were great! Go support them if you can.

Great lunch today. Had the vegetarian hibachi stir fry and spring veggie rolls. The chef was kind to confirm there was no sugar in the hibachi prep which was great as I’m not eating it at the moment and was going to opt for something else. Everything came hot and fresh.

The food was delicious but its more like self serve and like most restaurants they always have the tips screen up at checkout. You pay before you get the food.

We ordered all hibachi dishes, but i was super disappointed. The steak beef was overcooked and though. The shrimp was also overcooked. The portion sizes were small as well. There was barely any service, we ordered by phone and someone just came to deliver our food and water. No one came back to check if we needed anything else. It was efficient, I didn’t mind it that much. But the over cooked chewy steak bites were very disappointing.

I requested Medium for my steak, it was cooked well done. I also feel like I got the smallest pieces of steak. Small thing of yum yum sauce for $1.25. The rice and veggies were actually good. Self serve fountain station and a ordering kiosk.

Came here based on the hundreds of 5 star reviews and almost immediately felt like I had been duped. Regular restaurant pricing, for low quality, self-order food. You can order from a kiosk, the counter, or from your table using a QR code. Every order requires a payment, meaning you can't submit an order for appetizers, the decide on your sushi or hibachi later unless you don't mind several transactions. They of course want full scale tips despite it being self-order, self serve (on the plates, drinks, chopsticks etc) For appetizers, we ordered the spicy damage, served luke warm with a smattering a seasoning. We also ordered the vegetable tempura with a note/request for no mushrooms. That plate came out with 4 large mushrooms, onions, and zucchini. I asked the lady at the counter if they had any alternatives to mushrooms which they don't. Ordered 3 rolls, the Ebi, the Phoenix, and the California roll tempura style. The rolls were basically one degree better than store bought rolls. The tempura roll was soft, not crunchy at all, tasted like a mushy batter roll. We also tried ordering a side of fried rice with chicken, not possible on the app, or the kiosk, and when trying to do this at the counter, they couldn't do it. I just settled on just a fried rice. Bad choice, it was essentially white rice with a slight brown color to it. No flavor, no egg, no vegetables, and very bland. Won't be back, hoping to save others the overpriced experience here.

This was one of the most disappointing sushi orders I’ve ever had. I honestly don’t understand how this place has a 4.8 rating on Google. I ordered a shrimp sushi roll, and the shrimp was not cleaned properly. You can clearly see in the photo that the shrimp still has the vein in it. This is very concerning, especially because I am pregnant and food safety is extremely important. This should never be served to customers. I also paid around $15 for this roll, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, the other items I ordered were not good either. Based on this experience, I would not come back or recommend this place.

Tried to dine in for lunch and waited an hour for my food. If waiting an hour for some stir fry wasn't bad enough, the food had no meat or vegetables at all...just a bunch of rice. You need to realize that dine in patrons need to be taken care of first before Doordash and delivery service orders. You have people sitting there who need to eat and get on with their day, so putting their food in queue behind 50+ doordash orders is ridiculous!! If you can't keep up or figure it out, then just close your doors and be a delivery only ghost kitchen. This is the second time this has happened and definitely the last time we come here to eat.

I’m kind of shocked this restaurant has a 4.8 The service was very weird. It gave what are you doing her vibes. I was told to sit at a table and order and got my own water. (I noticed later when another table came in the staff served them water) The food was meh. My calamari was more grease than squid. I don’t even remember the name of the roll but it was mushy and basic.

Used to really enjoy this place but if you are going to charge more please don’t shorten anyone on food. 5-6 pieces of steak and 4 shrimp is diabolical for $20+. Also, 2nd time in a row my order was not complete. Missing items.
