My sister's and I went for breakfast the café is small but clean and inviting. The lady that was served us was very polite and friendly breakfast was fast hot and delicious. And the price very affordable great spot I would really recommend.

Delicious and quaint. You get the feeling that everything is homemade. I had the turkey roast, which was delicious. The gravy was too die for. My husband had the fish and chips, very good! The only miss is lack of outdoor dining. We will be back

Managed to get a table on a Sunday when was extremely busy, ordered roast beef and chicken dinner for my fussy wife, food was worth the wait and was delicious, great portion, all staff and the owner were friendly and excellent service, highly recommend

Closest to your childhood family Sunday Roast that you can get! Absolutely fabulous!

Wir genossen ein gutes Englisches Frühstück, einmal das große Frühstück und einmal ein Omelett und waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist ruhig und freundlich und das Ambiente angenehm. Obwohl es sehr heiß an diesem Tag war, war es zum drinnen Sitzen durch die großen offenen Fenster nicht zu warm. Wir konnten nach vorheriger Rücksprache mit Kredit-Karte bezahlen. Leider hatten sie keinen Earl Grey Tea, was für ein englisches Restaurant etwas ungewöhnlich ist. Wir kommen trotzdem gerne wieder.

Tried to reserve but no answer, when we did come we were shoved into the back with no ac, ordered a steak on a stone due to no fish and chips and a Sunday roast, steak was okay at best but the Sunday roast was lacking any taste, felt sick after the temperature of the room. Not worth the £40

The staff are nice and the service was ok but the food not so much got steak on a stone. Really bad came with 3 sauces mayonnaise ketchup and mustard. Work that one out. Never again daughter got chicken curry straight out of a jar Uncle bens and it was not cheap

After waiting for 40 minutes and watching people who came in after us being served before us we asked the young lady what had happened to our food she checked and our order has not been put in. So I asked to speak to owner who would not come out to apologise. They said they would get on with it but we decided to leave. However the young lady said the drinks were free and was very sorry. We have previously had breakfast here without a problem served by the young lady. The older lady needs to face the music and except her mistakes and learn to be friendly.
