I had to make an emergency trip from Houston to Amarillo. My last day in Amarillo I had some time for myself. I decided to try out a local bar. Obviously, it was the Broken Spoke I decided on. The bartender was very courteous and kind. For a smoking bar it did NOT stink. I am a smoker but, I am not a fan of bars that have smoke hanging in the air. The most impressive thing to ME, was how clean it was!! The liquor bottles were dust free and shiny. The bar top was clean and not sticky with dried alcohol. Also, they did not have the music blaring loud enough for other establishments to hear it. I will definitely go back to this bar the next time I am in Amarillo.

Stopped through Amarillo to get a few drinks. Felt like I was in an episode of cheers or something. Everyone knew each other and was very welcoming very friendly experience. Full of laughter at the whole bar. The bartender was very nice and prompt.

This is a great bar. Drinks are cheap. The band was amazing. People inside are friendly. The waiter, Christina was lovely. Thank you and i having great night.

Great band, cheap drinks. Stunk like cigarettes, still a smoking establishment. Had a good time, definitely showered afterwards. All in all, a good time with great friends!

Great little watering hole. Would be a higher rating if the state, county, city or the bar itself would ban smoking indoors. I know, I know, I'm a commie. Lol, no, if you track places where smoking has been banned.... you'll see that for up to six months, those that were bars only struggled very slightly. After that the increase in business is crazy. Most at least doubled sales with some near 500%

This place has so much potential. The owner needs to take charge and not allow it to be taken over by MC presence. It's intimidating and changes to mood and feel for those just looking to enjoy a night of fun. I saw so many people leaving because of having to walk the gauntlet to the restroom through a patched motorcycle gang presence.

Smokey!!! If you're a smoker, you'll be comfortable here. They even have ashtrays on the tables. If you are sensitive to smoke, do not go!! The smokiness hits your nose as soon as you walk in. I don't even think I saw anyone smoking. It's just in the air. We were only there about an hour. We went home and our clothes reeked. Good grief. No thanks!

If you want to smell like cigarettes this is a great place for you to come. Second hand smoke and pool tables you got it right here partner! If you don't want cancer then go somewhere else!
