Sushi Express

Might have been a recent name change or is it something else? Nice little sushi restaurant. I say little, there was plenty of space with a choice of the bar, or a table or booth. Service was really nice. Always had our drinks filled and the staff kept the sushi orders coming. Everything tastest absolutely fresh. The avocado was perfect. You know how narrow that window is on perfectly ripe avocado. Got to give the kitchen staff a double thumbs up. The staff was friendly and made us glad we stopped in. We went for the all you can eat option this time, but we will be back to try the main menu selections next time.

We love this place! Great sushi and ramen at affordable prices. Service is friendly and love that's it's a family run business.

Sushi express never disappoints! Their sushi is colorful and fresh. The menu has so many great options to choose from and has wonderful flavor depths. The dishes always look beautiful.

Just Go!! You won't regret it. As soon as we walked in we were seated by a very nice woman. She explained the menu as the soup/salad was served before the entree. The food was made fresh and the restaurant was so clean!! It smelled amazing, the music was wonderfully played and the staff was outstanding. We ordered sushi and spicy chicken fried rice, which tasted delicious . The gentleman that took our payment even went out of his way to hold the door open for us. 😁 If I could give 10☆ I would!!

This place was great, people are just picky. I had a great time and the food was so good and pretty fast considering its cooked to order. I will definitely be coming again some time!!!! Also the all you can eat for 23.50 is great if you know your stomach!!

After reading mixed reviews about this restaurant, we decided to give it a try today. And OMG food was absolutely amazing. It's surprising that no one mentioned their mind-blowing appetizers. We ordered Shumai which is Japanese dumplings, it was so good that we almost ordered the third one (we picked the all you can eat menu). Their chicken wings were super tasty that I believe they can beat any other chicken wing businesses in town. Sushi was good as expected in a sushi restaurant; fresh ingredients, tasty eel sauce. We agreed with some other reviewers on one thing, their sushi has a bit more rice than meat and is wrapped a bit loose. But no big deal anyway.

The katsu curry is delicious and the takoyaki was awesome. Can't wait to come back.

Just had the best experience at Sushi Express! We had a volcano roll, dragon roll, New Orleans roll, egg rolls and and udon ramen that was AMAZING! Service was great, waitress always wore a smile and was very attentive.

Best sushi and variety in town. Sushi rice is well prepared.

I've had sushi from all over the south and this place is up there with the fresh sushi in coastal towns. They're trying new ideas and willing to listen to opinions. Definitely a great place to stop. All you can eat for 20$ is a good selling point too!

The waitress was really nice. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly. My man got the nurato ramen and LOVED it. I got the California roll and it was really good. We will be back.

They took my friend's order and my loves order and didn't take mine! I wanted a chicken fried rice special but she didn't even bother! I ate off my boyfriend's plate because of the sh**y service and they charged me full price for eating 4 rolls. I even explained that no one took my order and the only thing he could say was,"well i saw you eat off his plate." So he charged my 26 $ for four rolls. The food was actually really good. Sushi was great. Service is terrible and they are beyond rude!

This place used to be amazing, but lately they have new management. After the change, we ordered food for two of the ladies in our office, and one of the girls went to pick it up. They almost gave her only half the order (she noticed it felt light, and had to ask for the rest of it), they left off the condiments we requested, my coworker reported that the quality of her meal was very low, and then, to top it all off, they WROTE IN THEIR OWN TIP, overdrawing the card the money had been allocated to. Whoever is running the new management is not great. Service is extremely slow. I ordered sesame chicken and it doesn't come with sesame seeds anymore? Gave us the wrong drinks. Bring back the old cooks!!!

Possibly the most lack-luster dining experience I've ever had. The fish tasted fresh and the dining room was cleanish, which was nice. Unfortunately the compliments end there. Service was so slow, we stopped ordering because everything (one roll, a sashimi plate, and veggie tempura) took so long. The one maki roll we did get was rolled so poorly, it fell apart if you looked at it. Super bummed.

Went in expecting a hibachi style flavor for the Japanese fried rice like other places in town. Was really disappointed. Unbelievably bland and had a fishy taste to the chicken fried rice. No real vegetables to speak of. They were incredibly nice people and maybe the sushi is a better way to go.

We came in on 4 on a Saturday, turns out that there was only one person running the store. That's right 1. On a Saturday. This one employee was taking orders, making the orders, sending them out and cleaning. The quality of the rolls wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. The fish were small slivers and its pretty hard to do all you can eat when there is only one person running an entire restaurant. Maybe that day was a fluke but if you only have one employee that cant doing everything, just don't open and wait for someone to help. Too many people in the restaurant and she turned new customers away as they came in. Not the best service.

Made a call mom order for California roll and pad ci u...the roll was stick together due to the rice and the pad ci u which is my favorite dish was HORRIBLE!! Noodles hard and stuck together only 4.brocoli flowers no bean sprouts no sauce very crunchy and flavorless while missing main ingredients of vegetables...will never go back! Don't go there it was nasty .telling you maybe if I was drunk I would but even then I don't like crunchy noodles

I order from here at least once a week. Typically great. Not today. Today they undercooked the wontons and I'm not sure what they did to my rice but it was literally inedible. When I called to have those two of my 5 items refunded I was told to bring the food back to them. Which is absurd. Considering I orded through door dash. Door dash took responsibility for the part that was cold and refunded me immediately. And to the woman on the phone with the remarkably bad attitude. I hope you have the day you deserve.

I understand every place may have a bug but while eating and seeing it grossed me out. We looked by the wall on the floor more by the table to see if there was more and you can see where its nasty and dirty. Along the wall and booths. Since we seen they they were out in the open and not even scared I am scared what could be in the kitchen. We wont be back. I did take pictures but some reason it isnt letting me add them on here.

I feel sick and won’t be back. This place “USE” to be good the new owners ruined the restaurant and what it used to be.

A note to the new ownership: Don't cut corners. Your rice for the sushi is gummy now, The shrimp for your shrimp tempura rolls tasted like it had been cooked that morning or yesterday and reheated. When it comes to sushi rolls, a little sauce on top goes a long way. No need to drown the roll. This was one of my favorite local places. I hope the new ownership regroups and can save it.

When I did get my chicken it usually is nice and crispy but it wasn’t. The breading was soggy and the sauce was so off it tasted like sour bbq sauce.
