They served the best beef Pa Nang I have ever had. Thai food is my favorite cuisine. The taste was very "authentic" compared to the other restaurants in town.

This is the best Thai food in Amarillo. The small seating area gets pretty full sometimes, but I've never had to wait unless I was with a large group. Fans of spicy food be careful when you ask for it to be over be spicy, they don't play around.

Why 5 stars? Because they won’t let me give them 6! Great restaurant that’s been great for decades. Too many good dishes there to list them all, but try the cashew chicken and don’t overlook the fried rice.

Amazing experience!! I had the Seafood Pad Tai.. you could good medium or hot. Loved the medium, will try the hot next time for sure!! Highly recommend for authentic Thai flavors and the Thai tea was excellent 💙

I had Pork Pho and it was amazing! I ordered mine no heat, then added spice at the table. Such a large helping, I couldnt finish even half!

You can ask for things off menu and they can probably whip it up. You just have to ask. Hands down, Thai Star is now one of my go to spots anytime I visit Amarillo. I cannot recommend it even.

Did not have any lunch specials, it cost more than $28 for 2 people without tip and the spicy chicken was sweet not spicy whatsoever. Even the siracha wasn't as spicy as normal, must be a knockoff. I am not impressed. Thai star, if it's called spicy chicken then it should taste like it, and people want smaller portions and cheaper prices for lunch. Just ask Thai town, or better yet go eat there for lunch.

Good food...always. The price now is way too high. Beef and broccoli is $10 with steamed rice. If you want fried rice, it's an extra $4. No way I would pay $14 here for that. Beef pad thai is almost $10 now. I'd rather go elsewhere from now on

It doesn't seem like a restaurant! The previous owner made sure you were well taken care of! Maybe it'll change maybe not but I don't think I'd give it another try after so many years of going there!

It will be my first & last go eat to this place ,the pho soup smells like sink water and the food smells like roach🤮, we didn’t finish the food. And they didn’t serve fresh thai tea like how other restaurants did, they just use thai tea powder and serve their customers, I would never go back there again.
