Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent amount of food for the price. They have eat in and carry out options (I don't know about delivery). Small simple pizza, pasta, and sub shop. Wide variety of meal options. They were great with my kids.

I love this place! Best wings and pizza in WNY in my opinion. I ordered because I got door dash (sign of the times) and had no idea it was this good! Get the garlic parmesan wings, they are meaty, cooked well and lots of sauce and topping.

Gino's has the best NY style pizza this side of Brooklyn. The wings are delicious and crisp. The staff is very friendly and on top of thier game. Must be a good owner here because everything was on point.

I have only had delivery pizzas so I can't speak for the service or atmosphere. The pizza is great. It's the only pizza , so far, that my family agrees on being very good.

Without question, best New York style pizza around. Always used to go to the Ginos and Joe's at the mall downtown. When I found out they had a new location near UB, I was very much happy. The food is freaking great, the atmosphere fantastic, and the staff are very friendly. Highly highly recommend for all lovers of pizza 👍

As always Gino's comes through with great pizza, great wings, and great service. Whether you want a whole pie or just a slice their options are always great and taste amazing, their wings are always hot out the fryer and sauced to perfection.

Consistently, outrageously good. Their pizza is a fantastic version of NY style, with a little thinner crust, little crispness with a slight chewiness in the best of ways, and high-quality ingredients. And their other food is great, too (like their chicken fingers, which are crispy and juicy, plus many other examples). Great place! You won't be disappointed.

I'm from NYC Born and raised in QUEENS for 32 years. Since moving to buffalo some pizza places have that fake NY style pizza add. And it turns out to be pan pizza. Or something else i have no idea what. This place is the real deal. Great pizza and subs just like back home. I do not buy my pizza from anywhere else here in Buffalo. Great owners and staff as well. Deliveries also receive 5 stars from me. Always 1hr or less. I highly recommend this place if you know and love real NY Style pizza.

We usually have pizza at this pizzeria it’s our favorite place for pizza. We come from New York City and the pizza reminds us of the pizza from back home growing up. The staff is friendly and the place is kept clean. We sometimes have a slice or two there dining in then order a pie or a few slices to take home. We always feel welcomed there. Love the pizza, the staff and the pizzeria. Blessings to them always.

Pretty great spot with pretty great eats. The pizza was awesome, and the wings were stellar. To top it off, the cheeseburger hero was one of the best around the state. If or when we return to Buffalo, Gino's will be on our list of good eats for our weekend getaway.

First time ordering from this location. We wanted to try something a little different and Gino's didn't disappoint. We ordered the white, spinach and chicken pizza. It was made with a more traditional crust that is slightly thinner, but more "bready" with a smoother crusting than the typical pizza dough. You can really taste the parmesan and ricotta cheese in this pizza. Absolutely awesome. Also got a side of fries, cheesecake and cannoli. Deserts were good, as we're the fries. Fries were cooked well and not overly salty. I like the fact that the included ketchup packets were put in the fries container under the tin foil and not just tossed in with the fries themselves. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

Took 5 years but I finally found NYC pizza in Buffalo. And it's really good. I am suspicious of the pepperoni, it does have a grocery store taste. But honestly, I don't care. Buffalonians may not be a fan because it is very different from Buffalo style. But if you have ever had and loved NYC style pizza, this is the place to go. So good.

I have to give this hidden gem a review. I’ve lived in the area for 6yrs and go to shopping in the area. I decide to try them out one day, because my local pizzeria closed down. Let’s just say I am truly lucky it did. Gino has the best subs around and I don’t here many people speak about them. I don’t know what kind of steak sauce they use, however it’s so flavorful. I can’t wait for my family to come into town so they can try them.

The pizza there is FANTASTIC! Thin, NY style, plus they have a stuffed pizza which is really good. Not some place to take your date, lol, but there is seating if you want to eat in. You can buy it by the slice or whole pizza. It's not cheap, but did I mention it was really good? Given the quality, I'd say the food was reasonably priced :-)

Gino's is definitely the best pizza I've had in buffalo great slices cheese or pepperoni and their barbeque chicken pizza is amazing! Staff is quick and generous over all great experience. Only downside I could think is their side items aren't the greatest, but the pizza is so good it makes up for it .

Thank you Gino's. We stopped in on our way to Niagara Falls. The pizza is amazing and definitely NY. I am originally from Queens and the pizza here took me back to my childhood. The mushroom slice was our favorite. The buffalo wings are also on point. We won't hesitate to stop in again should our travel plans bring us to the area again.

I've never had they're pizza but I've ordered other things like wraps and fries..... The food is GREAT the customer service is EXCELLENT everyone is so nice and polite and the prices are 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 do- able... I enjoy this place!!😍

Always loved it. The taste is yuuuum. We tried almost each type of pizza. My personal fav is chicken and cheese & cheese bacon. Salami is also good. There are other things than pizzas too, but I never tried. I love their 🍕.

Friendly service!! We have ordered from Gino's Pizza at least once a week for the last several months. Delivery is usually faster then the time they tell you and delivery drivers are friendly. Food is always hot. Manicotti, Chicken Parm and Pizza are amazing. The chicken tenders are huge and the best we have found anywhere!! We have had 1 meal show up wrong and they were quick to correct it and send the correct meal with several apologies from the manager and the driver!!

Love Ginos N.Y. Pizza! Pizza is great, especially the Buffalo Chicken & the Banna Pepper & Steak! My favorite sandwich is the steak sub! If you haven't tried it, you need to! Lots of flavor & meat!! Service is also quick!

I know this restaurant mainly offers pizza, but the chicken wings are even better! During the pandemic I always ordered online and they never prepared food for me late. I recommend the chicken wings with Gino’s secret sauce.

The food is terrific and the staff is so friendly. The prices are definitely better than most of the other pizza places as well as they give a military discount. I have a multitude of pizza places closer to me in North Tonawanda but I prefer to drive the 10-15 extra minutes to get Gino’s!!

Best NY Style pizza in the Buffalo/Niagara Region! Just had their Greek salad, too, and not only was it delicious, it was enough to last 2 days!! They offer a variety of foods and all look great! Don't forget to try their garlic knots!

This is my favorite NY style pizza in the Buffalo area...The cheese and pepperoni is amazing! Keep in mind, this is NY style and not standard Buffalo pie. The crust is thin and crisp, the sauce is flavored perfectly with herbs and spices, the pepperoni is thick with a bit of heat, and their cheese coverage is perfect ratio. I know and love pizza and this is top 3 around no doubt. I want to try the deep dish offerings.

Typically stock a good selection of slices, although the plain cheese is a masterpiece. Staff is friendly and attentive when you enter. I like pizza (a lot) so going here for a quick slice is nice. Obviously Pizza is very subjective to what you like. For me I like light sauce, not too doughy but not too crunchy and this place was damn near perfect to that. The epitome of a NY Style slice and that is what I love!! It was the best pizza I've had in Buffalo since moving here 7 months ago and I've tried at least 10 places so if you are a NY style type of pizza person this is the place for you!!

I got lunch from here the other day and I have to say I was thoroughly and happily surprised at the quality and taste of the food. On the outside it is just another pizza place in a shopping plaza- walk inside and there are a dozen pizzas of all different varieties ready for slices, and a large menu of other pizza place staples. I had a slice of BBQ chicken finger pizza and it was excellent. The real show stopper however was the garlic knots- they were hot and fresh, and absolutely loaded with garlic; by far the best ones I’ve ever eaten. Will definitely stop back again!

First time here! I was looking for a great NY style pizza. This place is VERY CLEAN behind counter. Very positive vibes from guy behind counter. I visited at a text it was really busy so I missed many of the pizza flavors. The chef stated around 11:30am is the best time to visit to get a great selection of different pizzas. Ok,OMG THE SLICES ARE HUUUUGE!! THE MUSHROOM PIZZA WAS AMAZING!! IT WAS SOOO FLAVORFUL CHEESY AND WORTH THE $3! GREAT PLACE TO HAVE LUNCH WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS. THE PRICE IS GREAT ONE SLICE IS A LOT O PIZZA. U MAY BE ABLE TO GET 2 SLICES DOWN IF UR A HEAVY EATER. MUST TRY THIS PLACE. I WILL RETURN SOON AND UPDATE ON OTHER ITEMS I TRY.

Definitely one of the better pizza places around. Buffalonians get their hardons about their pizza (as do all the NYC visitors), but by in large I've found most places aren't that great. (Not to say it's as bad as every downstate denizen believes it to be either). However, Gino's is one of the few places I've found in the area that makes a great slice and is definitely worth it. I'll drive up from downtown just to get myself a pizza. Prices are on the upper limit of what I'd say is fair/worth it, so it's definitely worth a try, at least.

I always like Gino's downtown and was happy they came down to University plaza. This is a great spot to take someone who wants to taste buffalo pizza. My favorites are the Buffalo chicken wing pizza and the steak pizza... They've got wings, fingers, calzones, and great prices... The staff are real cool ppl too... Go Gino's!!

I like their pizza, it's closer to NYC style (Neapolitan) than the rest of Buffalo pizzerias. However, they don't season the crust on their Calzones which is really a missed opportunity... Garlic & Parmesan would be great on top. I ordered a standard cheese calzone and it had no flavor due to this.

It's solid NY style pizza. Their cheese pizza is great, though it is floppy and greasy. If you're hoping for a crispy no flop crust, this isn't the place. The sauce is not sweet like most Buffalo places, but savory. You can taste the tomatoes and I really enjoyed it. Their pepperoni pizza on the other hand tasted excessively salty to me. I've tried their desserts, and they are good but $6 for a small slice of cake seems like a lot.

Standard somewhat NYStyle pizza. I would recommend this joint to anyone wanting a good standard pizza. We ordered a large extra cheese and boy did they pile on the cheese…it was actually a little too much cheese (is that even possible?) but overall a good pie.

Best NY style pizza I’ve had in Buffalo. Just as good as Joe’s, if not better. Mild wings were very mild, which is just how I like them. The only reason this isn’t five stars is because I didn’t think the antipasto was as good as it could have been. I mean it tasted fine, but I just wasn’t used to the amount of lettuce from other places I get antipasto from. It’s more like a big chef salad. Definitely healthier than other antipasto, just not what I expected. But that’s why I tried it. It had pepperoni in it, and rolled up pieces of lunch meat, but not a lot of it for the price. Usually I can get two large servings out of antipasto. This was finished in one serving. Will definitely be getting the pizza and wing combo again. It’s a few bucks cheaper than Joe’s, too!!

I’ve tried it twice. I can’t tell if it’s how it’s prepared or the dough but it has a weird crunch. Maybe frozen ingredients? I’m unsure. Not for me. Staff is super nice though! Cool little place with a wide selection.

Ordered 2 slices of pepperoni and cheese pizza, a cannoli, and a slice of cheesecake. The pizza was good. Sauce was bland. It was pretty greasy as well. The cheesecake was horrible. It tasted old and I immediately spit it out in fear of getting sick from it. It was horrendous. Other than that, delivery was quick, that was cool.

The food is always fantastic. Tonight I was a bit disappointed to see several workers not wearing masks as well as children behind the line where they make the food. There was about five kids running around throughout the restaurant in and out of the doors and being loud and disruptive. Definitely hesitant to return when these types of activities are being accepted.

I used to love coming to this place all the I’m from NY so this was the closest pizza to taste like New York style time but today their pizza was so off to thick sauce to watery I need that like NY pizza back!!!

As a transplant from NYC, I am always on the lookout for “NY style” pizza in WNY. We went to a movie in the same shopping center and were excited to try Gino’s for dinner when we saw it. I’m glad we tried it but I’m in no rush to go back. It wasn’t the most pleasant place to dine-in at as the store and tables were very messy and the chairs were all so worn and ripped. At one point, a young male employee was talking to another employee and using some obscenities. We didn’t clutch our pearls about it but we both noted to one another that it was off putting. As for the food, it was decent. The sauce is definitely a bit of a compromise between “NY style” and the sweeter sauce preference of the region, which isn’t unfair. The garlic knots had ok flavor but I did appreciate they were very soft and not too tough. Overall, it was a decent place to eat but I would only get takeout going forward

Not impressed with the food at all. Got a personal chicken finger pizza and it was undercooked with just cubed chicken and cheese. The blandest buffalo chicken pizza that I've ever tasted. I've had better from the frozen section at a 7 Eleven.

Ordered a ham sub. In my opinion the ham was a cheap cut of ham. It tasted like a sub from a corner store. I'm used to a better cut of meat.

We hadn't ordered from here in a while so the other night we decided to try them out again, paid $43 for a "large" pizza, 10 wings and mozzarella sticks, the pizza had pepperoni, mushrooms and extra cheese. The toppings weren't bad, but the dough was horrible like eating tough leather and the large pizza was more like a medium pizza, I remember it being much bigger. The wings were also terrible they were so small and tough to eat like they had been heated and reheated 3 or 4 times and there was a ton of sauce on them. We ended up throwing most everything out. The only thing that was good were the mozzarella sticks. There were 6 of them and my husband and I were laughing because we were fighting over them!! That's mostly all we had for dinner. Do not order from here!! I'm very suspicious of the 5 star ratings that's all I'm going to say...

Unfortunately, I have to edit my initial rating. I ordered a turkey club on 8/11 thru Uber eats and the sub was absolutely terrible. The bread was toasted to a crisp (literally hard) and the bacon (I believe) was old or sat the entire day, very crumbly and greasy. It was a disaster and never should have been served. Very disappointed.

Gino's tops university- Fish dinner last night was totally disgusting. When I ordered 2 weeks ago it was the best. Crisp tastey fries. Fish was cooked great, good garlic rolls....but last night yuck. The fish was cold and the skin was so hard. I only could eat the fish inside. I had to pull off all the breading. The fries was cold and soggy. The coleslaw smelled bad and smelled of strong vinegar The garlic rolls usually good with garlic salt and butter. They must have run out because the put raw garlic on it. Had to toss out most of my dinner

Ordered a stinger sub… received bread lettuce tomato onion and mayo. How do you mess up a sub… Oh it gets worse, called to see if they could just make another, and I’d go pick it up. Since we waited an hour for our delivery… Manager says they stopped making subs, so they could get me a new sub tomorrow. Crazy how people in the food industry can act so selfish. Keep your veggies and bread to yourself.

I get food from here all the time m. Almost everyday. The last 2 time my pizza had been delivered to me and it looked like it fell on the floor blue cheese in the middle of my pizza. The first time I called about it they sent me out another pizza, this second time they guy tells me that it some time happened that is nothing he can do, he also proceeded to tell me he never has this problem and I’m the only person that has this problem. He was very rude and unprofessional. THIS WILL BE MY LAST TIME SPENING MY MONEY HERE I DONT CARE IF IS GOOD OR NOT IM NOT PAYING FOR PIZZA THAT FELL OVER was not worth the 22$

If this is how they typically pack their food, I'm surprised they'd get repeat orders. This is THE worst packed food delivery I've ever had. Wings and a ton of juice in foil that isn't even wrapped up. Picture is how it looked when I opened it. The sauce leaked through the box and even through the plastic bag. An absolute mess. As far as the food itself, the wings weren't bad but they weren't great either. The skin was tough on most of the wings. Overall, disappointing.

Pizza was not fully cooked, and the dough was chewy, and glossed with cheese. I won't order again.

Had a hankering for wings, why not get them from here being that I'm 2 seconds away... I got the wings and the box was super greasy on the bottom, I asked for plates to go underneath and the reply I received was "there's napkins over there!!" That person was so rude and nasty! So, I took 2 artvoice newspapers and put them under the box. Horrible customer service!! They think you owe them for cooking for you! Never will I go there again. I can spend my money anywhere!

I was looking forward to some slices from the University plaza location. It was very busy. I counted 10 people working behind the counter. Only 1 worker was wearing a mask... That is inexcusable! Well I didn't buy any pizza from there.. I get it... I know it's hot. But I have to wear mine All Day at my job... And they should be complying too!

I ordered a pizza and a calzone at 8:29 pm online, since I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone after repeated attempts. They said the order would be ready at 8:59. We were there before then and the place was locked up. I tried calling, no answer. I checked my credit card and they charged my card!!!

Is zero stars possible? Tasteless. Ordered cheese, pepperoni and onions. Bland. No herbs or spices. Flavorless pepperoni. Low quality cheese. Onions slightly sour? Pizza left an aftertaste like oil in need of changing. Possibly one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. Stick with Bailey Avenue.

I went there for lunch and ordered a cheeseburger sub and coke from a girl behind the counter paid for it in full and was told it would be 15 minutes After 15 or 20 min they asked me what I ordered and I told them and they said they had no record of the order The girl was no longer there . Out doing deliveries or something to verify I paid They made the sub reluctantly I waited another 15 min making me feel like a thief or something He gave me my sub with no apologies. They don't give receipt unless you ask All I can say is I've got better things to do than rip off a sub from a pizza joint and if you replay your camera you'll see I paid

I am not one to just do this but I do not appreciate my food being tainted. After I waited to get lunch (started work 4³⁰a.m-3/4p.m), i went to get pizza in the same plaza i work. Once at work, i literally bit into a ring! I had a bbq and a stinger pizza combo. I went to show (after taking pictures feeling furious due to hurting my mouth), the guy had a HORRID attitude about just looking and told me (with my witness standing there) "It's not our ring, it happens sometimes". Excuse me? Foul! I will NEVER order there again! I'm so disgusted by his attitude. I was respectful enough to not let others hear my rant. It seemed as if they were use to complaints as bad as mine. This is MY experience, I do hope no one else had/ have this problem.

This pizza was awful, with so many other quality options in Buffalo New York, I’d encourage whoever is thinking of going here to go somewhere else nearby. The pepperoni pizza was flavorless, and the texture of the crust was cardboard. If I had a good thing to compare it to it would be school cafeteria pizza, for the price you can do better elsewhere

Been a fan of this pizzeria for years... prices on pizza's just went up SIGNIFICANTLY over the new years, seems like they added at least $5 to EVERY item on the menu!! BUT EVEN WORSE they charge extra if you are paying by card? (This should be illegal) Gino's you should be embarrassed charging $2 extra on a $53 order because im paying by card... That is not a privilege to be able to pay by card, it is 2024, this is a scam/ripoff and an owner trying to squeeze an extra $2 out of you, especially when the same order one week ago was $42 !!! so very inexcusable! Sorry, this will be my last order from Gino's!

Really great delivery folks. The food was really gross though. Pizza was overcooked and tough- cheese was scarce at best . The bottom crust was chewy and burnt. Bbq Wings were overcooked, dry and stringy. Very little meat. :/ I typically like this place- with not so great situations regarding food here and there...but I am kind of annoyed that I spent over $80 yesterday evening for poorly prepared food. Chicken fingers were ok. ..fries were really soggy and tasteless. I put them in my air fryer and seasoned them. 70% better. I wish I could have just cooked if I was able. But I simply wasn't and that was why I relied on this resturant. I will pass on them moving forward. A refund or at least a partial refund would be great but I'm sure that won't happen...although it's extremely justifiable.

Came in with my wife, we had 2 pieces of pizza each, we were eating before going downtown to the Sabres game, there was a teenage male looking pretty shady sleeping with a wad of cash in his hands and when every wife and I were talking over dinner he kept looking at us, not good for business or for your loyal paying customers, we will not go there anymore because the management dosen't seem to care about their customers.
