This was a great bar to be at for the Superbowl. A fun raffle, lots of TVs and great food. The staff got their butts handed to them this night but they were absolutely trying their best.
Really great sports bar with a ton of different TV's to watch your game on. Place was absolutely packed with people wall-to-wall, took 15 minutes to get a beer, but was faster than I expected. Waitresses fast to clean up empty tables and really great sports fans all around. Excellent prices and very polite and professional staff!
I went on a taco Tuesday here. The tacos were very small street tacos, but the chunk of meat were really big not that much of a flavor. The service was OK and the atmosphere was nice too. The Sunset view is very close to Disney and the freeways, quiet and cozy place for a date night and they have big screen TV for sports, very cheap alcohol and beer on Tuesday nights with one dollar tacos
Place has a good vibe and food is excellent. I was there in a very busy day and just had patience. The server has an awesome attitude even though she was overwhelmed. Good job to her. Fun place to hangout and watch a game.
Nice place, Bartender was super friendly & smelled sooo good! Glad that this pub was right near where I had to park for delivery for a tradeshow in-town. Definitely would come back if ever in-town again.
We decided to come to this place because our last name is Lopez and my dad is a Lefty; it was such a specific and quirky name, that we had to see what’s up. The owner, AJ, attended us and was very sociable. He recommended the Grand Cadillac and my dad loved them. Food was great! Burgers were juicy and cooked as ordered. The fish tacos were great as well!! We will definitely be coming back!
This place was amazing. Very clean, and we loved sitting outside with the heaters on. Great, relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and the food was so good! I got the roasted red pepper chicken sandwich. I've never gotten food from a restaurant that was prepared and delivered looking exactly like it did on their website/menu, and then tasted just as good as it looked. Husband got a Cali burrito and it also was delicious and its presentation was on point. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back to try more items off this menu! Lived up to the hype for sure.
I had my daughters 21st birthday was able to reserve the patio for a few hrs. Everything was great, staff was very sweet and amazing helping us with everything made sure all our guests were taken care of including the birthday girl made her birthday special. They helped with catering, drinks and set up. Can't thank them enough for making my baby girls special day was amazing.
This is a popular sports bar to watch NFL games on Sundays. Many TVs so you don't have to worry about your game not being on. Great drinks and food options, including brunch menu.
Love this bar! I come here a lot and this place never disappoints! The atmosphere is always a good time and the girls there are always super nice to us! I am not a beer person but their micheladas is my go to drink here! You will always have a good time when you are here! ❤️
Great late night option when in the Disney area. Went on a Friday and Saturday night, packed and lively both days! Good food, kitchen is open late, and their drink deals were a pleasant surprise.
Lefty’s has been my “go to spot” for the past 7 years. And each time I’ve gone, they never disappoint. Whether you’re a suit and tie, or a blue collar, the Lefty’s crowd is a melting pot of cool people and vibes. The bartenders and servers are always attentive and super cool. My favorite bartender is, Lisa. Not only can she whip up my favorite drink, she also brings enthusiasm and charisma to the bar patrons. The bar manager, Makenna, is awesome! I sometimes order the habanero sliders or the steak quesadilla, or the Lisa BLT (which is bomb). Whatever you order, the food is tasty at Lefty’s. It’s a great place to watch the latest sports events. I watched all 6 games of the World Series at Lefty’. It was one of the best times I’ve had. Thank you Lisa and Lopez & Lefty for the good times!
YeeeeHAaaa !! We had a great night here! Really good food, we had burgers and wings. Even the vegetarian burger was crazy nice. Friendly staff, really helpful. Good ambiance. Big screens all over the place and they switch to a channel if you ask them!
After a day of traveling and then working we wanted a casual dinner in an upbeat place. Our group tried the Fajita Salad, Blue Cheese and Avocado Burger, and the Pineapple Burger. The Pineapple Burger had it's hints of sweetness and was very good even though I expected more than one piece of pineapple on the burger. The Fajita Salad was very well balanced and fresh! The Blue Cheese amd Avocado burger was my favorite though!!!! Of the beer on tap we had the Cali Squeeze Blood Orange which is a Wheat Beer, and the Una Mas, which is an Amber. Both were good if you like those types!
Absolutely stellar experience at Lopez and Leftys! The bar atmosphere is top-notch, with a fantastic selection of drinks to choose from. The service here is truly exceptional - the staff are attentive, friendly, and always ensure you have a great time. Shoutout to the manager for being super accommodating and nice! Highly recommend this spot for a night out 🍻
Had my aunt's 65th birthday party here and was able to reserve the patio for a few hours on a Thursday evening. The staff led by our great server Lisa were very hospitable throughout and helped us with making sure all party guests were taken care of including the birthday girl!! They went above and beyond to make this day unforgettable and one to always cherish for the birthday girl!! They helped with catering, drinks and set up. Can't thank them enough for making my auntie's special day amazing.
This is my go to spot when I'm in Anaheim. The food is pretty decent. Never had an issue. Service is on par. There is a young lady that always remembers me and I only go in a couple of times a year. So that is impressive. Never forgets my drink.
First time I came here I was treated like family. Outstanding atmosphere, service, and food. I highly recommend you stop by and visit Lisa. She is truly a rockstar bartender. They have great weekday drink specials you can’t miss out. So stop by Lopez and Lefty’s but make sure u ask for Lisa #1 bartender.
The food was really good, definitely exceeded expectations. Got a Cali burrito, garlic Parm fries, crispy tacos. It was all tasty and well made. The service was okay, our waiter was a little uncaring/indifferent but not too bad, what you might expect for a local bar. Another passing server was super nice to us so I'm sure it varies. Worth a shot for some good food, plenty of TV's to watch sports if you're into that thing.
After an evening of sleeping-in from a busy day at Universal, we made it 5 minutes before they closed their food side. They didn't turn us away, they allowed us to order, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was so good we went back the next day with more people but the place was packed due to the games. It was cool, people were cheering and having a good time. The owner, I presume, chased us out to our vehicles and expressed regret about the unavailable seats and recommended calling ahead of time so seating for our big party can be accommodated. Very nice man who impressed my in-laws for his kind manners. Definitely a place we'll visit if ever in California again.
Makenna I met she was so awesome on top everything I would come back for her service the food needs lots improvement but service was excellent
Went there last weekend with a group of people and had such a great time! We sat in the patio area and service was great. Everyone loved their food! We’ll definitely be back soon!
My husband and two teenage boys went looking for a burger place and google sent us here. We walked into a bar. It was seat yourself. The bartender cane over to take our drink order, delivered our drinks then we felt forgotten. After contemplating leaving and putting down cash for the drinks, the bartender came back for our menu. We ordered burgers and tacos and chicken tenders. I am so glad we didn’t leave. The. Food. Is. AMAZING!! We ordered more tacos and then more tacos! The service was slow but very much worth the wait. We are from Chicago just visiting and we are trying to figure out when we can visit again to get to eat here again. My husband is dreaming of those tacos and my sons keep comparing every burger they eat to Lopez’s and Lefty’s. So glad google sent us.
Makenna the manager made our first time here amazing! She really made us feel welcomed thank you Makenna!
Fun, good specials, especially good for pregaming. Could probably use more help during busy times. The bartender was really cool, allowing me to reserve a table because I had to cut out for a few. I'm definitely going back. Some locals told me it's their go-to for NFL Sunday.
Amazing service, great atmosphere, good food... bartender Lisa is a blast and true pro, we find ourselves visiting around her schedule. I've been coming here for years and this is probably the most fun it's been. Keep up the good work 🍻
Great place to be. Came with friends to watch football. Food, atmosphere, staff is amazing!!!
I stopped by Lopez and Lefty's for a drink with friends. It is a fun bar and the atmosphere is always entertaining. I was a bit hungry so we ordered some appetizers. The drinks are awesome! I was able to order and get a drink fast! Their service was great. The food was also good. I would definitely recommend this spot for drinks and a bite to eat.
Lisa the server was amazing. Had the BLT best I have ever had. I am from Chicago and I had the best opinion rings. Great place. You must experience!!!!! Drinks are fire. Great bloody!
Chris here with a place you must know!!! Francesca and the crew are friendly, attentive and fast. The food here is amazing. I recommend a sliders along with the barbecue beach fries! I’m telling you right now they are 🔥💯 Loaded with toppings definitely filling.
Awesome bar close to our hotel. Lots of sports on TV's, awesome patio seating with heaters if it gets too chilly. I ordered the tacos with carne asada which were really good. $4 a piece with nice cold beer and drink with a smile. (I definitely recommend it) We had our food within 5 minutes after ordering. They have a good size food menu, I guess they're popular for their hamburgers. Maybe next time! It is a little loud but it's awesome when You have a bunch of people watching sports.
The manager there was super friendly. I was working in Anaheim as an out of state employee and he always found a TV to put my Utah Utes football game on. He also made sure I was feeling safe being the only Utah guy there with a bunch of USC fans. Thank you.
Came here for St Patrick’s Day and it was the perfect spot to grab a green beer and food. There was large a group of us and it was nice to find a spot that could handle the large group. We ordered burgers, wings and chicken tenders. The burger was great and the wings were FANTASTIC. It’s a great spot to watch the game too as it had many seats inside and the outdoor patio was a hit for us. Service was 10/10
Love this place. Found it on a fluke. Lisa was an amazing server! The food was superb, fresh, and tasted amazing. We went twice while in the area visiting. Pazole, chicken tacos, BBQ fries, chips/salsa, and drinks were all top-notch!
I had an amazing experience thanks to Lisa. From the moment I sat down at the bar, they made me feel welcome and taken care of. You can tell they take real pride in their craft, from the way they mix drinks with precision to how they present them with style. Beyond the drinks, the atmosphere they create is what really stands out. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind — they make the bar feel like a place you want to come back to. Whether they were busy or had a moment to chat, they always had a smile and never missed a beat. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a drink from Lisa — you won’t be disappointed.
This place has become one of my favorites. The dishes are always fresh and vibrant. The staff makes every visit enjoyable.
Looked this place up because I was in the area for a meeting and wanted to catch some playoff games. This Goddess among mere mortals named Lisa took exquisite care of me and made my time here fantastic. I’d come here from anywhere to experience this level of hospitality and welcome atmosphere. Thanks Lisa! Love you too 😉
Makenna the bar manager and the employees Viv and Max were great tonight, five star service. Definitely will return when I'm back in town.
Flew in from NJ to spend a week in Anaheim. On the way to my hotel I stopped at this place with 2 friends. The bartender (and the only FoH employee on at the time) was just running this place and doing it. There were about 12 people at the bar and a handful of tables and she was just excellent. Talking to the regulars, making beer recommendations to our table, all while bussing tables of customers that just left. She even told us how she got some of her favorite beers to be served at the bar. It was clear she has been working here for a bit, she was running the place. Had the BBQ Bacon Burger and it was absolutely delicious, pricey but the burger was rather large and the fries were 10/10! I would recommend going when Lisa is working. I also rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to.
Me and my partner appreciate their wide selection of TV’s where you can watch sports. The place has an enjoyable environment.
Great place to go before the Ducks game. Good music, good vibes, awesome service. Maritzza was an A+ waitress
Decided to go check out this spot, we drove by previously, but the place was packed, and there was no parking and left. So we went a 2nd time. Many TVs are in there and jukebox playing good jams. The place was cool, and food and drinks were on point. Good Happy Hour, drinks were pocket friendly. We will definitely be back for another Tall VooDoo Ranger. 😃
Came down from the Bay Area to Disneyland and found this gem!! Food and service was amazing. Their burgers are amazing. Great food great conversations good times and good vibes all around!!
The service and food and atmosphere are absolutely ridiculous. Super friendly. Really nice. Relaxing getaway with everything you want from a sports bar, including an awesome outdoor.
Muy bueno todo, la comida y los chopps. Excelente ambiente
Buen lugar para desayunar O cenar ricos platillos americanos Y comida mexicana recomendable si visitas disneyland
Muy buen lugar para tomarte unos tragos ver TV 👍
Really great sports bar in Anaheim. They have plenty of TVs to watch all kinds of games, on Mondays they have special 4$ well drinks. On Wednesdays they have 5$ Jameson drinks and Monday night football is popular! I would plan ahead and get here early on Sundays/weekends to catch: fights, games, and sports center. I got the chicken taquitos and they were amazing!
Had a really nice night here, food was tasty and reasonably priced, they sold cider so a win for me! And had sport on, not that I had a clue what was going on but it was on all the same lol 😂 good atmosphere here!
Love the vibe! It's a great place to just chill. It's definitely a level up a dive bar but not a place where you stress about dressing up either. Biggest pro is dog friendly patio. Crowd is super chill. Servers are extra nice . Large selection of food, something for everyone! Food and cocktails are 6.5/10. Drinks could be stronger but hey 🤷🏾♀️
Food took a while to come out. The burger and fries were cold. Staff and I can assume the owner or manager are super friendly. Description of food needs to be better. I was not expecting tomatoes or lettuce ona Onion Burger. Good place to watch a game on the patio. The inside was pretty loud.
Great local spot to catch a game. Wings and burgers were very tasty. The Irish nachos were missing ingredients which made them a lot less tasty. Service was adequate but now amazing, had to ask several time to get our beverages filled or reordered.
I came here several times for taco Tuesday in the evenings. Always had a great time … today I came for lunch and the experience was not a pleasant one. We sat at the bar and and the lady attending bar was very focus in two customers . I thought she had a tunnel vision because I try to get her attention for minutes… Her margaritas didn t see or touch the tequila . I ask for more salsa for my tacos and chips and I got charged $ 1.99 . The tacos were delicious , the bar back man was more help than the lady… I always tip good and even that she didn t deserve it 22% tip vas way too much for her !!! I ll stick with evenings from now on !!
Super cool spot really close to the I-5 exit near Disneyland. They have a decent sized indoor seating area with table seating as well as bar seating and patio area. I've been here for World Cup games and recently for NFL games. They play all the games so no matter your team you have a view of your game. As for food, I've only had the breakfast burrito so far 4⭐️. Good selection of draft beer and good pricing on buckets of beer! 🍻
We were here on a Thursday night during TFN. Lots of football fans. Fun times. The food was really good. Service was adequate, but as the others in my party noted, not the friendliest. Like, come on, a little smile can go a long way. Otherwise, it was a good experience.
Pues
Not too bad. This was our first time eating here. Funny enough, we've all driven past it for years and never thought it was a sports bar. We all thought it was a motorcycle shop. So we weren't too sure what to expect. Our group usually does Taco Tuesday at another location but we're changing it up this week so we thought we'd try something new. Three of the four of us all had burritos and the fourth had tacos. I got the California Burrito. Pricey for food honestly. It was good but the meat was overcooked. The other three said the same thing about the carnitas they had. It may very well be a great cook for some but it was on the burnt side for me. Good but I would ask if the cook can do medium rare to medium the next time. So don't judge my opinion on the temperature of the steak. Our server was super sweet. I didn't catch her name but she's only been there a month. She was very polite and attentive. T.V.'s all around the room so you can sit anywhere and watch the game. It's not too loud which we all liked. We could still hold a conversation and not feel overcrowded. We're not big fans of the overcrowded loud bars so this place was a nice change. It's a place that we'll go to again.
Good atmosphere, slow service. Empty beer for 15+ minutes.
Still wondering what kind of award did the Anaheim burger won. Nothing special there.
Food is better at home in microwave, dirty mug but beer was cold. Unless you're a favorite or regular then you'll get ignored. Used to be the spot but has fallen off a bit.
Surprisingly good bar food. It's a self-seating venue, and while initial ordering is prompt, don't expect much follow-up attention if you need refills or anything extra. Also, be prepared for a bit of a runaround when it's time to ask for your bill.
All the money they make upgrade on your outside speaker plz sound like shit but good chill spot
Went for lunch and it was a bit too loud to hear others at the opposite side of the table. Not because they were busy, rather loud music. Food was good, but typical bar food and that is not a rip. Just typical choices that or table said were good.
We were there, Saturday, May 24th, We had a party of 8, I had a California burrito, Everyone got their food and didn't want to eat until we all had our food. I had to find the waitress and ask her where my burrito was, she said, oh that one takes longer, first of all, to be a good server ( I am an ex server) You need to tell the customer that when it is ordered, Second of all, the service was terrible. We never saw her, especially every time we needed something or another drink, whether alcohol or soda, Even I had to go to the bar and ask her for it because she was always behind the bar or nowhere to be found. Very loud in there, couldn't talk to our family visiting from up north, because we couldn't hear each other. Even though the food was delicious, I would never go there as a restaurant. It's definitely just a sports bar
Very slow service. Probably understaffed for Sunday football. Nachos had Very little cheese. Burger could have been cooked a little more. Probably one and done for us. Unfortunately.
I’ve been coming to Lopez & Lefty’s for years and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s usually a fun spot with great energy, which is why I kept coming back for so long. I also want to say that the bartenders there have always been great—friendly, attentive, and quick with service. Unfortunately, my experience with one particular bartender has been very disappointing. There is an Asian female bartender whose service has consistently been unfriendly and inattentive. On several occasions, I’ve been standing at the bar or even sitting at a table waiting for service, and she clearly sees you waiting but will go help male customers first or people she seems to know. It’s happened multiple times where I’ve been waiting while she walks past or goes to attend other customers who arrived later, particularly men or people she appears to be familiar with. The pattern is very noticeable and makes you feel ignored as a customer. When you’re spending money at a bar, you expect basic attentiveness and fair service. Unfortunately, because this has happened repeatedly, it’s gotten to the point where I’ve stopped going. The place itself still has a great atmosphere and the other bartenders do a great job, which is why this is so disappointing. I hope management looks into this so the level of service can be consistent for everyone.
Went here Sunday to check out some NFL games. Sat myself at the bar after 10 minutes I asked for water and they got it for me, but nobody checked back if I wanted to order any food or drinks. so for 30-40 minutes nobody ever waited on me. Possibly they thought I was waiting for someone? No... Yes, my eyes were distracted by the game (except during commercials), but the 4 or 5 bartenders on duty were not super busy. The main barkeeper even walked by me a few times without a word or eye contact. So I may give them another try but when I went there at 10:30am the staff mostly was interested in socializing and joking around at the far end of the bar. One of them just kept dancing and I watched her make 2 drinks the entire time. Kinda bizarre. As for the setup, they also have a bunch of tables (indoor and patio) and show pretty much all the football games on various tv's (NFL package). There is a small Sunday brunch menu since they open early in addition to lunch/dinner. There are lots of different bottles to order drinks, and about 16 beers on tap so it's worth a visit if you need a place to watch sports.
The atmosphere was ok and had a mixed crowd. I went on Sunday to watch a game. The service was horrible and the food was also mediocre. If you plan to take your child look elsewhere!
For a Bar that Claims to be the best place to watch LAFC matches they sure know how to NOT be the best place to watch LAFC matches. All I wanted to do was to have some drink and watch the game with my buddy. No one greeted me at the entrance even though there's a sign that says 'Have your ID ready', walked in like a dummy with my ID in hand and found the only empty table in the back and sat. After 5 minutes a waitress came and took our order. It was clear the waitress took way too many tables, every time after she took our food order I asked for a TV near me to be changed to the LAFC game because when the game started it was only on 1 tv at the far end of the bar. After the 5th time I asked her, i finally saw her just ask someone else to do it, and that guy did it within minutes.... We missed the entire first half. So we just dipped and watched the second half at home. Never again.
Went there on a Friday, had good, not great, service. Food was good, nice beer selection, so we went back the next day. It was like a different restaurant. Took about 15 minutes for the server to appear, then another 10 for her to approach our table. First thing she did was to take a card, and now we knew why: she put in our drink and appetizer order, then disappeared for 45 minutes. Waitresses need breaks, but they should check their tables before going on them. Our food and drinks came out, but when we were ready to order a second round, she was nowhere. So we cashed out and left. Won't be back, food was ok enough but can't guarantee the service will be ok.
First time at leftys and probably the last time. Met a friend here for drinks, and it was not busy yet. I didn't get a drink ordered until 30 minutes later. This should have been my sign to leave elsewhere. When my friend arrived, we were able to order as a gal showed up finally. Ordered food, and it arrived quickly. The kicker was when we asked her for a shot that she never brought to our table and even came multiple times to our table to tell us that. So after waiting for 20 minutes, we just went to the counter and asked for our check, paid, and left. Take into account that it was not busy when we arrived, and as a company event was starting outside, they ignored the tables inside. The table behind us had children and they also had to wait as long as we had for drinks, food and the check. There are many places near this area with much better service, I'd avoid this place unless you can wait for your drinks well over 20 minute mark for refills.
The white lady I've had lately with short blonde hair is horrible. I've watched her tend to herself before customers multiple times and act like she is in such a hurry to take your order just to start face timing and make drinks at the same time. She is only nice once u get the bill cuz she wants that tip. This isn't just one occasion. I love this place but I really can't stand the service half the time .
I have to take away a star because the owner asked me to change my review. Even though this was my experience. Hole in the wall. The fries were good, the burger was okay, and the burrito I won't order it again. My burrito with shrimp had two objects inside that felt like fish bones in my mouth. The shrimp seasoning didn't mix well with the flavor of the burrito. I left a lot on my plate. I asked our waitress what the objects in my burrito could be. She said she had no idea, but would let the cook know. I was able to pull one apart into a Y shape. I thought to myself, perhaps corn husk pieces? There wasn't corn in my burrito. Wishful thinking because I didn't want to lose my stomach. That was $50 we could've saved. The ambiance was loud. Seemed to be a local dive bar.
Was my 1st time here and was help by franchesta. Worst customer service I don’t if she was just having a bad day or something. So instead me and my friends just decided to walk to the bar and get our own drink . Besides that the bartender was really nice and helpful and great vibe!
Alright second time here. First time trying to get a was a beer was challenge. Second, getting food is a pipe dream. Was told we had to be sat at a table with no one at the task. I a”found a dirty wet table, timer states we are ate 37 min no interaction. (Will update)
Absolutely terrible. Don’t waste your time unless you want to be ignored and belittled by the wait staff. Party of 2 IGNORED bc we were not big enough to care about. There were 6 people there when we arrived. After we asked for water while we looked at the menu 10 others in 2 groups came in. ALL of them got drinks and had orders taken while we sat with nothing. The snide “oh I’m so sorry” as we walked out the door is uncalled for, distasteful, and rude.
In town for a few days. Happen to drive by. Place looked poppin' went inside. Energy was great. Place was 80% capacity. Sat at the bar. Had 3 bartenders look at me and smile, but didn't greet me nor say they will be here shorty. This place CLEARLY caters to regulars over everyone else. It was obvious. I think finally it was shift manager asked for order. Gave me a menu. Then went and sat at a table with co-worker for over 10min. The finally asked. I asked about hot wings. Deep fried or baked. She said deep fried. They came out soft like baked. Or flash fried then baked for order. Ordered some taco. They were fire! Amazing. Told other bartender who was amazing, the only one that actually would speak. The wings were not what I ordered. Told her I only want if deep fried. She told me she orders them to be crispy. Still charged me for them even though I told her I asked the manager "before" I ordered them. I only wanted if deep fried. I won't be back and wouldn't recommend this place to ANY VISITORS... they just cater to regulars. The lady's sitting next to me noticed the same as it takes forever to get anyone to respond to always having to raise hand to get attention when your drink is gone or if you need anything. But the vibe and atmosphere was great. Just not friendly or aggressive for Visitors! Kinda sad, but since I own a business back home in tne industry. Customer service is KEY. Everyone's $ is green.
The staff didn't make us feel welcomed and would only speak to us if we spoke to them first. It took several minutes to get a response from the bartender and even longer to receive a menu. Once we moved to a table, a waitress took our order, but never refilled our water or made sure the food was right. Lastly they charged a $2 upcharge for extra cheese on our nachos that we didn't ask for and tried to justify it by saying their nachos aren't good without it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless they get their act together.
Terrible place! When we 1st walked in we sat at the bar and no one said a word. We had to ask for menus and no one offered any drinks or food. We then decided to sit outside. The server takes our order and brings the nachos and never once came back to check on us or refill the water. The nachos were seriously dry and bland. When I got the check, I saw that I was charged $2 for extra cheese. The server explained that they do that because the nachos aren’t good without it. Well they weren’t good WITH it either and I definitely don’t appreciate being charged for something I didn’t ask for!
Ok atmosphere but terrible service. No drinks were refilled, had to go to the bar to ask for refills because we told them that we hadn’t seen our server in a long time and he told us she probably got cut and went home. Excuse me? She finally resurfaced again, we asked to get the bill, she just shoved a total in front of our face, nothing was itemized so who knows what we paid for. We observed the behavior of other servers and they were all rude to customers. We just wanted to leave so we paid (they take your card upon arrival at the table) and got out of there. Food was mediocre. The salsa served with the chips is the worst I have ever had and there is no warning that it’s habanero peppers. Not even consumable. Will not be returning.
Stay away if you value your time. I honestly cannot remember the last time I had such poor customer service at a restaurant. We went in knowing it was a sports bar and we were well aware. We went in on a Monday about 5:30 and it was pretty busy but they only had one waitress working at the time. She came over when we initially sat ourselves but it took her about 15 minutes to even bring us waters then another 15 to bring us our drinks (just a beer and White Claw), she didn’t ask if we wanted to order food, she ran off before we could even say we were ready to order. Now you’re probably thinking why not leave at this point, well we had walked over from our hotel and there was not a lot of other options for food. Fast forward about another 10 minutes and another waitress shows up and the first waitress hands us off to the second waitress. All of a sudden this table who was seated after us gets their food? Mind you, we still had not even been able to place an order. The second waitress, I believe her name was Francesca, comes over to ask if we are okay, my husband says “yeah, we’d like to place an order” and then she literally just walks off. We were astounded. I had to go back up to the bar to tell this Francesca we wanted to place an actual food order. She finally came back to our table about 5 minutes later. Surprisingly, once our food order was placed it came out pretty quickly. It just takes you two hours to even place an order to get food….ridiculous and shameful, this restaurant and their servers should be ashamed of themselves, disgusting and poor service. The food wasn’t half bad, wasn’t great but wasn’t the worst. I still don’t recommend this place whatever you do, go somewhere else.
So it didn’t take too long for them to get to us this time. Been coming here for years. Usually I go with the tacos but thought I’d mix it up a bit this time. Got a burrito. Beer was fine. But maybe two-thirds of the way through the burrito I felt like a got food poisoning. Sad to say but this place is slowly falling off.
I want to start by calling out a really disappointing experience I had during my visit to Lopez & Lefty's. A brunette waitress named Francesca was incredibly rude, condescending, and carried herself with a terrible attitude the entire time. At one point, she bumped into me and said, “Girl,” in a sarcastic tone—even though I’m a man. It was blatantly disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely out of line. Someone like that should not be working in customer service—Francesca should be fired. Now, that said, the rest of my experience at Lopez & Lefty's was genuinely great. The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The drinks were strong and well-balanced, and the atmosphere had a great vibe: fun, welcoming, and well-run. The owners have done a great job creating a place people actually want to come back to. It’s just a shame that one person’s attitude can cast such a shadow over an otherwise awesome spot. I’d love to return—but not if that kind of behavior is accepted or overlooked.
Food & atmosphere were amazing, but service was as bad as it gets. During rush hour we were lucky to get a drink an hour and we even got charged for a drink we never received. Seemed like our server was avoiding us or just overbooked. Btw this is coming from someone who used to work in the food service industry.
