I recently dined at Orange Grill Teriyaki and Rolls. The vibrant and fresh flavors of the sushi rolls were exceptional, and the teriyaki dishes were perfectly seasoned. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the positive atmosphere.

This place is a hidden gem. This is my go-to spot when my sushi urge comes on strong. The sushi here is high quality, fresh and prepared with love. 💕. My favorite is the salmon sashimi and OC roll. I have not once been disappointed in all of the hundreds of times I’ve been here. The staff are all courteous despite being overwhelmed with customers. I highly recommend this place for great sushi.

This is my go to sushi place because it’s affordable and it’s good. I usually get the caterpillar roll, OC roll, and salmon sashimi. All those 3 things are delicious. It looks like their meat bowls are pretty cheap.

I heard from this place from a good old pal whom I’ve known for quite some time. He knows when a restaurant serves some of the tastiest foods in the city. As we walked through the doors we immediately caught the whiff of delicious cuisine. We were seated and the server Joel who was very kind and helpful helped us decide on what we should order. He recommended the California Rolls and Teriyaki chicken, which we agreed to order. The wait time was quick and the food came out with a wonderful smell. Joel would come now and then to check if we needed something. The food was delicious and the servers were hard working. 10/10 would come here again. Joel made it a great night

For the price the portion sizes are large. The quality is better than any AYCE Sushi but not as good as some downtown LA or even local OC stand alone sushi but you will have to pay $3-4 more per roll at those places. Quick and friendly service. Very clean. I will be back.

Orange roll is my favorite place to go during my lunch hour. I only get 45 minutes and the guy there always advises me what to eat! I don't have time to look at a menu. I just want to know what the best dishes are LOL and every time I've gone everything is top notch. My favorite is the rainbow because it has a variety of colors and you get different fish to try. The dipping sauce is my favorite! The waiters and waitresses are super friendly and the cooks are very fast. I highly recommend this place and please make sure you take money to tip because they so deserve it! I forgot to tip the last time I owe you guys. I will make it up to you I promise 🙂 The atmosphere could do a little more updating. We could do some fine art on the wall. Hire a college student to make a beautiful collage and switch out the tables. Maybe add some water fountains at the entrance or something to make it a little more appealing as far as the environment, but the waitresses, waiters, cooks and food are top notch. The prices are excellent compared to other sushi places. Sometimes you're in a fancy place and the food is not so great. So this is not so fancy but the food is delicious

Stopped by on a Monday evening to eat before heading to Disneyland. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of sushi and service we received. We ordered hand rolls, tempura, and 3 different fresh rolls. Im basing this review on the amount of rice given within each roll, freshness of the fish and quality of the cuts. Now, I'm not an expert but I love sushi and I've had a fare share of a variety of places. The sushi was EXCELLENT! Service was FANTASTIC! Soo welcoming and attentive. The prices were very reasonable. I left full, happy, and satisfied. Definitely looking forward to going back again to stuff our faces!

I visited this sushi spot for the first time based on a friend’s recommendation, and it did not disappoint. The fish was incredibly fresh with no off putting fishy taste. The rolls were just the right size (not too small and not overloaded with rice) allowing the flavors to really shine. Each one was beautifully crafted and tasted just as good as it looked. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and you can choose to dine in or order to go. Prices are also very reasonable, especially compared to other sushi restaurants in Orange County.

Orange Roll & Sushi is delicious and consistent. We've been eating here or taking out to eat at home for years. The spot is next to the Packing District, which is nice to have as you can head out there before or after, but it's also always hard to find parking. The food is great, good quality fish, various rolls ranging from traditional to sweet/savory or spicy. My personal favorites are the Euclid, the Autumn and the Sunset, the Orange is also a must try though. Their Ramen and Udon are also top notch, as well as the Yakisoba, considering this is primarily a sushi spot. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. The only reason why I didn't rate the atmosphere a little higher is that there's not a lot to this joint, it's nothing fancy, just a regular sit down restaurant ambiance. If you're a local, you likely already know about this spot and if you're visiting from out of town, it's worth every penny. Prices aren't insane, but it's sushi, you're gonna spend a little more to get some good food. Highly recommend this place!

I like to place an order ahead of time on their website. It's cheaper to order by their website than through Yelp. The Amber Roll is the best. Very filling. It has more weight to it than the rolls without shrimp tempura. The sauce with the Amber Roll is like no other. Pricy rolls but you get good value I suppose.

I was really craving the soft shell crab sushi roll, but unfortunately, they don’t carry that. So, they recommended the crispy imitation crab roll. It was okay, but definitely not a replacement for soft shell crab. 😔 That said, the ambience was chill and all the staff were really cool and friendly, which I appreciated. Just be aware—after calling in our order, we still waited almost 40 minutes for pickup. Looks like they get pretty slammed during the lunch rush, so plan ahead if you're in a hurry.

Simple. Satisfying. Salmon Sashimi. Healthly portions and always fresh. I ordered my meal to go, but asked for an additional container of wasabi and ginger that I did not receive. I also think the young lady working the register could have been more genuine with her service. It felt like she was just going through the motions and was more interested in her conversation with the male waiter than providing me a better experience. However, this in no way will hinder me from coming to this location again.

I order a sushi burrito and miso soup both were very delicious and eventhough I went during rush hour the place was very clean and the service was great! I will be going back for more 😋

Big cuts of fish for sashimi and nigiri. We got the salmon sashimi and yellow tail nigiri and the fish tasted good. Ordered tempura and dragon roll which was just okay. Food came out quick and service was fast. Ambiance is nothing to write home about, very simple casual restaurant. I like this place though, so we will most likely be back.

The service was impeccable, the waitress was so kind, helpful and qas very versed on their menu. Food was ok, i didnt get a chance to try many things but its not bad food. Price is a little tiny bit pricey for what you get, but the service was A1. Except my party got their food first then a quite a few minutes later i got mine which always makes it awkward for the table. Its more comfortable when its organized to come outbat the same time.

My Chakari Bowl was pretty fresh and had a lot of fish. The bento box had a lot of food and all sort of tempuras. I was pleased with my food and the price was great. The service was very bad, my order was taken and that was it, I never saw the server again. My food was brought to the wrong table, I had to ask for Ginger & Wasabi, utensils, never got a napkin, had to ask for the bill… He did not bother to come and check our table, but gave the next table a lot of attention.

As soon as we walked in, no one greeted us. We had to greet them. They didn’t wait in us at all. Then we got the check when we weren’t even done eating. We wanted to order more food. Waited 20mins for drinks. Really horrible service. Won’t be returning an I don’t understand the good reviews.

It was my first time there and the service we got was bad, bad, bad. It took over 30 minutes to get our food, other tables that were seated after us got their food first. I asked the waiter what was taking so long and he said they were running behind but obviously not for every table. I made the mistake to order to go a chicken teriyaki bowl and it took another 30 minutes after we finished eating. Also the waiter never came to check on us. I do have to say, the food was good but with that horrible service I will not be going back.

My child became violently ill an hour after eating some rolls from this restaurant this evening. Started vomiting an hour after eating and has still been vomiting regularly. When I called the manager was nice and tried to be helpful but the chef denied any responsibility at all.

One of grosses chicken dishes I have ever had in my life. This does not even resemble chicken katsu. The only thing edible was the rice and miso soup. The servers were nice the food is just bad like wow.

I have no idea how this place has a 4.5 rating. I tried it because of the reviews, but clearly many people have never had half-way decent sushi before. Majority of the rolls have spicy tuna in them which has a weird taco meat flavor to it. You can imagine my shock when raw fish tastes like tacos. The imitation crab is awful as well. The roll was filled with terrible quality imitation crab and was wrapped almost as big as my palm. This place has no idea how to make sushi. The salmon was basic cheap salmon. Nauseating…couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Didn’t finish any of the rolls.

Unacceptable service. Ordered the Kentucky Koko and never once received the full dish. First time: only a California roll. Second time: only vegetables. Third trip back: only chicken. I was told it “wasn’t in her power” to remake the actual meal I paid for. Made me drive back multiple times and still couldn’t get it right. Complete waste of time and NO accountability whatsoever.
