best tasting salmon sushi award goes to here the orange roll is the best
Orange roll is my favorite place to go during my lunch hour. I only get 45 minutes and the guy there always advises me what to eat! I don't have time to look at a menu. I just want to know what the best dishes are LOL and every time I've gone everything is top notch. My favorite is the rainbow because it has a variety of colors and you get different fish to try. The dipping sauce is my favorite! The waiters and waitresses are super friendly and the cooks are very fast. I highly recommend this place and please make sure you take money to tip because they so deserve it! I forgot to tip the last time I owe you guys. I will make it up to you I promise 🙂 The atmosphere could do a little more updating. We could do some fine art on the wall. Hire a college student to make a beautiful collage and switch out the tables. Maybe add some water fountains at the entrance or something to make it a little more appealing as far as the environment, but the waitresses, waiters, cooks and food are top notch. The prices are excellent compared to other sushi places. Sometimes you're in a fancy place and the food is not so great. So this is not so fancy but the food is delicious
Stopped by on a Monday evening to eat before heading to Disneyland. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of sushi and service we received. We ordered hand rolls, tempura, and 3 different fresh rolls. Im basing this review on the amount of rice given within each roll, freshness of the fish and quality of the cuts. Now, I'm not an expert but I love sushi and I've had a fare share of a variety of places. The sushi was EXCELLENT! Service was FANTASTIC! Soo welcoming and attentive. The prices were very reasonable. I left full, happy, and satisfied. Definitely looking forward to going back again to stuff our faces!
I visited this sushi spot for the first time based on a friend’s recommendation, and it did not disappoint. The fish was incredibly fresh with no off putting fishy taste. The rolls were just the right size (not too small and not overloaded with rice) allowing the flavors to really shine. Each one was beautifully crafted and tasted just as good as it looked. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and you can choose to dine in or order to go. Prices are also very reasonable, especially compared to other sushi restaurants in Orange County.
While visiting Disneyland, we were looking for a nearby dinner spot and came across **Orange Roll and Sushi** online. We decided to give it a try—and we’re so glad we did! It’s a small, very casual place, nothing fancy or flashy, but absolutely perfect for our family with three kids. Sometimes the best food comes from the most unassuming spots, and this place proved that true. The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly, which was great after a long day at the parks. The staff was kind and welcoming, and when we weren’t sure what to order, we asked our server for a recommendation. They pointed us toward some of their most popular rolls, and every single one was delicious. The fish was fresh, the rolls were well-prepared, and the flavors were spot on. Our kids—even the picky eaters—found things they loved, which is always a win! Prices were reasonable, portions generous, and service was quick and attentive. We left full, happy, and talking about which rolls we’d try next time. If you're in the area, especially if you're traveling with family, **Orange Roll and Sushi** is a hidden gem worth checking out. It made our evening after a busy Disneyland day even better.
If you want me tasty sushi and generous portions, this is your place! They usually have one server and it's kind of a cafeteria setting, so don't expect elegance, but the sushi is on point and that's what I came here for. They also don't have a liquor license so no booze, but if your focus is on tasty rolls, you're gonna like this spot!
Must try!!! Quality is on point and the fish is served at the perfect temperature, great portions! Super friendly and fast service. I will be comming back forsure! Staff was friendly and welcoming, rice is delicious! Everything is delicious honestly. Its a must if your in the area, its worth it.
I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and presentation of the assorted sashimi plate. Each piece was of good size, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor. Accompanied by a delightful ginger tea, it made for a truly memorable meal. What made the experience even more special was the friendly staff who ensured that the service was top-notch. If you're in Fullerton and have a craving for sushi, don't miss the chance to visit this place!
Orange Roll & Sushi is delicious and consistent. We've been eating here or taking out to eat at home for years. The spot is next to the Packing District, which is nice to have as you can head out there before or after, but it's also always hard to find parking. The food is great, good quality fish, various rolls ranging from traditional to sweet/savory or spicy. My personal favorites are the Euclid, the Autumn and the Sunset, the Orange is also a must try though. Their Ramen and Udon are also top notch, as well as the Yakisoba, considering this is primarily a sushi spot. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. The only reason why I didn't rate the atmosphere a little higher is that there's not a lot to this joint, it's nothing fancy, just a regular sit down restaurant ambiance. If you're a local, you likely already know about this spot and if you're visiting from out of town, it's worth every penny. Prices aren't insane, but it's sushi, you're gonna spend a little more to get some good food. Highly recommend this place!
The food was amazing! Fresh! Beautifully presented! Large portions! The service was far and few, you had to keep waiving someone down, but honestly I would look past that bc the food made up for it . Also inside .. if you’re expecting something nice, it’s not.. it’s a “hole in the wall” kinda place . Boxes and supplies all over the place.. but again .. the food 🍱 s what will keep me coming here !
Big cuts of fish for sashimi and nigiri. We got the salmon sashimi and yellow tail nigiri and the fish tasted good. Ordered tempura and dragon roll which was just okay. Food came out quick and service was fast. Ambiance is nothing to write home about, very simple casual restaurant. I like this place though, so we will most likely be back.
Total Score: 6.65 Bathroom: 4/5 Orange and clean Customer Service: 3.75/5 Was nice and checked up on me Ambiance: 4/5 Orange and Christmas green. Lots of orange puns lolol. Food: 3.5/5 Nothing to complain about the sushi . Was okay. The tempura was a bit soggy Wow: 0/1 Normal Japanese restaurant Total Score = BR + CS + 2*AM + 5*FOOD + WOW
Unacceptable service. Ordered the Kentucky Koko and never once received the full dish. First time: only a California roll. Second time: only vegetables. Third trip back: only chicken. I was told it “wasn’t in her power” to remake the actual meal I paid for. Made me drive back multiple times and still couldn’t get it right. Complete waste of time and NO accountability whatsoever.
