Came here for the first time about a month ago for lunch. Ordered some wings (don't remember exactly what flavors I ordered) and they were really good. They also have a bar, music, and TVs, which would probably make it a good hangout spot to watch the game or something. Would definitely recommend giving this place a shot.

Big Up to The Wing Boss, everything was phenomenal. Every food item that we ordered was fantastic, from the wings, to the fish, to the shrimp, to the fried okra. Everything was well prepared and delicious. We placed the order online and it was ready by the designated time. Shout out to Brother Jay who was holding it down at the front counter, appreciate the great service. Shout out to the staff in the kitchen for putting out some great food. We've already been there two times in the same week and looking forward to our next visit. Be Blessed.

I came here to bring my Girlfriend for her bday. She loves wings and we wanted to do something different. The wings and boudain egg rolls were amazing and crispy and full of so much flavor. We will be back soon to try more !

Ok this is honestly going to be a crazy review coming from a vegetarian but I am obsessed with the Cauliflower Wings here!!! They have so many flavor options and give such a large portion of food. I’ve never been able to eat it all in one sitting but they heat up perfectly in an air fryer! Must try!

The food taste was a 10/10, we ordered 18 boneless wings for 2 persons and the portions were great. Lots of chicken perfect amount of breading. The Zesty Honey Garlic might have become my favorite sauce in wing and I used to be a mango habanero girlie, my girlfriend loved the Garlic Parmesan and we really enjoyed the Hot Lemon pepper. The hot lemon pepper was kind of saucy which was a nice surprise. We will definitely come back and recommend.

Ordered from here on door dash. The wings were very good and I look forward to ordering their wings again. The dirty rice, however lacked seasoning and was gummy. Do not order the dirty rice but the wings are good to go.

It will be very difficult to find a better-tasting, more balanced wing in Houston. I ordered the breaded zesty honey garlic and mango habanero wings and I'll say this: It was crunchy enough to notice the crunch but not too crunchy, saucy enough to enjoy the flavor but not too saucy, larger than the average wing but not super huge, spicy enough to notice but it's not too spicy to where it messes with your GI tract, visually appealing.....it was arguably one of the best wings I've ever had to honest. The price was reasonable, the service was excellent, I really appreciated how the music wasn't blasting to where it blew out my eardrums (I could actually hear myself think), I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS!!! If anything, the fries and the roll weren't anything special. I wish I would've came during happy hour because their specials/prices looked promising. $7 drinks from 4-7pm if I'm not mistaken. I'd definitely swing by again if I'm in the area.

Tried this spot for the first time and was genuinely impressed. From the moment we walked in, the woman at the front made us feel right at home she was warm, kind, and had great energy. The place was a little quiet when we arrived, but the bar started filling up not long after. We ordered wings and were blown away. I had the hot lemon pepper, and my boyfriend got the garlic parmesan and zesty honey garlic. Every flavor hit. The wings weren’t massive, but you’ll definitely get lost in the sauce...and that’s not a bad thing. We also tried the boudin egg rolls, which were flavorful and well-cooked. Everything came out fresh, hot, and beautifully plated. Right now, this is my top-wing spot in the city. Until something better comes along (which will be tough), this place is in our regular rotation. Bonus: the drink menu looks solid, and they’ve got a happy hour worth checking out.

Fresh, tender and flavorful! I am a boneless (chicken tender) fan. It’s so nice that at Wing Boss there is way more chicken than breading! The chicken is moist and tender as well but the crust still has a nice crunch. All of the sauces I had were great and not overly salty. My only complaint is that I think the ranch and blue cheese are the mainstream brands in the grocery store. Otherwise it’s an awesome, flavorful, clean, and friendly place! Kim at the front was very kind and sweet!

I’ve been wantin to try this place for a hot minute now and I finally made it on over. I walked in and was politely greeted by a friendly young lady at the register. She answered all my questions with a smile and even made a few suggestions. I ordered the 12 piece wings, 6 lemon pepper and 6 zesty honey garlic. The wings were easily a 10 out of 10. The texture was absolutely perfect. Nice and crispy skin, while still maintaining a very juicy and tender piece of chicken. The size was larger than most of the other wing spot in this area. The flavor was definitely was set them apart from other restaurants. Both flavors were incredible!!! They were so good, i didn’t even need ranch. Speaking of ranch…….that’s the only bad thing I could possibly say about this place. It definitely wasn’t homemade. It wasn’t bad at all; just not the typical ranch I prefer. I highly recommend stopping by and trying their amazing wings and creative flavor combinations for yourself.

I’ve enjoyed good chicken wings all around the world, and I have to say these are the best wings I’ve ever had. I’ve been back 3 days in a row. I saw a lot of reviews about the zesty garlic, they are really good, but that lemon pepper! The breaded wings have an excellent crunch, juicy and moist on the inside, and the flavors are exceptional. Not only is the food good, it’s clean! For an establishment created in 2020 they’ve cracked the code. Huge fan, keep doing what you’re doing.

We visited for the first time on a Thursday night around 7:30pm. The place wasn't crowded which was great plus the music selection was really nice (2000's R&B with a bit of dancehall). Our wait time after ordered was about 15-20 minutes. We got an order of 12 pc wings, fries and 2 Hawaiian rolls. The wings were well done, fries were hot and crispy but not too greasy which we were thankfully for. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the staff was friendly and polite. We would visit here again.

I’m giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 only because I wish they offered smaller portion sizes or more options for people dining alone. The boudin rolls only come in orders of three or more (they’re egg roll–sized), the wings are available only in orders of six or more, and the catfish bites come in a set of six with fries and a bread roll. For someone eating alone or without a big appetite, the portions can be a bit much. That being said, everything else about this place was a 10 out of 10. The food was absolutely amazing. The boudin rolls were incredibly delicious—you honestly don’t even need the dipping sauce because they’re that good. The catfish bites completely blew me away: juicy, perfectly cooked, flaky, and packed with flavor. I was genuinely impressed by how good they were. The service was great—friendly and welcoming. I dined in, and the restaurant was clean and well kept. It wasn’t very busy when I was there, though it looked like they were handling a lot of takeout orders. Despite the portion sizes, I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The wings here are fantastic! I love the mango habanero flavor they have here. It's just saucy enough to where it's not messy. The Cajun dry rub was a little salty but the flavor is good. The big unexpected winner was there house made vodka cocktails. They are phenomenal and pack a wallop! Liquid marijuana was the best flavor. We ended up getting another 12 wings just because their daily happy hour menu was the perfect way to wrap up the day. Next up I have to check out the brunch here!

The food is good, but I feel like the prices are inflated. They used to have a 4 piece catfish and they took that off the menu and now only offer the 8 piece which means you have to spend more money. In addition on the menu, it shows that the catfish and the shrimp come with a roll however they will charge you extra if u want one when the meal is already $18.95 I also know that the roll used to come with the catfish because that’s typically what I ordered so there’s a reason why I was expecting it. In addition, they’re buying the Hawaiian rolls in bulk so it can’t cost them more than $.75 per roll so I don’t understand why that’s a big deal to add that to the dinner especially when you have it pictured that way on the menu.

I really wanted to support this business, especially being Black-owned, but my experience at Wing Boss was honestly terrible. I paid $17 for a 6-piece wing combo with fries and a roll, which is already overpriced for the portion size. But what really blew me was the service and how little food you actually get. When I asked for a reasonable amount of fries, they told me they couldn’t give me more than a handful. A handful… for $17? That’s diabolical. The customer service wasn’t welcoming or accommodating either. It felt like my business didn’t matter at all, which is disappointing when you’re intentionally trying to support local spots. Portions are small, prices are high, and the service makes it worse. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. Definitely one of the worst food experiences I’ve had!!!!!!!!!!
