Barbacoa is praised for its old-school New York vibe, attentive staff (especially Maria), and excellent food. The T-bone steak is a standout, often large enough to share. Some found the service slow or the air conditioning inadequate.

my favorite go to steakhouse. The steak is priced very reasonably and it comes with potatoes and the creamiest, dreamiest creamed spinach. The frisee salad is very delicious and the souffle is well worth the wait. I could go there every month if my cholesterol and blood pressure would allow it.

The HOST, John is always lovely and very helpful accommodating for reservation. This is a landmark place, it's been in the neighborhood forever. Servers are always sweet and very nice, food is delicious always. Perfect for anytime but we have gone mostly on a Friday night or a Sunday afternoon for brunch. I'll suggest you to call in advance and make a reservation because in these times it's always packed.

This is one of the greatest restaurant/bars on the planet earth! 🌍😁 I. absolutely loved the burger 🍔😋 and fries 🍟 they serve on the menu and the ambience is magnificent, with Jazz music playing in the background.🎵 It's my favorite place to have a meal and enjoy the company of family and friends.💜🥂👍🏾

This is my second time having dinner at Knickerbocker Bar and Grill Restaurant on East 10th St and University Place in Manhattan. I love the Ambience, the Staff here, The food and the decor inside the restaurant, plus the Jazz Music they play. Today I had the Fried Chicken, with Fresh Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, it was so delicious, the Chicken had a wonderful buttermilk batter coating, so delicious.and so moist. They give you a generous portion, so I have leftovers for tomorrow, I do not have to cook on a Friday night. For dessert I chose to have a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Syrup on it. Knickerbocker Bar and Grill Restaurant is only open for dinner from 5 till 11 PM, Closed on Mondays. There is Live Jazz on Saturdays, at 9 PM, I believe....Whenever in the area, you definitely need to check them out.....I had the pleasure of having the same server,as I had on the first time that I went there, Diane is a super friendly courteous and a wonderful Lady, made my having dinner there most enjoyable.....

We chose the Knickerbocker because we were traveling and wanted a good NYC steak experience. The Knickerbocker’s reviews were better and more consistent, especially from locals, than the better known NYC Steakhouses. Our service was outstanding and delivered cheerfully by every member of the staff. Despite arriving 30 minutes early for our reservation as a party of six, we were welcomed and seated quickly. We ordered the t-bone for three with fries, baked potatoes, asparagus, and creamed spinach to feed three adults and three children. The meal was cooked perfectly, served properly, and there was more than we could eat. We will be back on our next visit to the city!

I stumbled on this place last year, and wished I had discovered it years before. It's been a favorite of me and my friends. I have not been disappointed with any dish I've tried. And if their caviar appetizer is on the menu, try it! The service is consistently good. The atmosphere is undeniably old school classic New York, the type of place you would imagine characters from a Woody Allen film would frequent.

As a local to the area I always love to bring folks visiting along to the Knickerbocker. It feels like a classic NYC location, great food, lovely service, beautiful music and atmosphere. I honestly love it. Come for a drink and you’ll always feel like a regular.

A solid neighborhood standard. Have been dining there since '89 and I'm still the youngest person in the room (haha). Went for a martini and a burger and was delighted.

The French Onion Soup was full of flavor. Along with House Smoked Salmon starter.....excellent, and don't forget the house cornbread...o yes... My Server Felipe was on point with it all. 👌

Hubs, son and I were a bit at sea this Christmas. And so we made a reservation at the Knickerbocker. As soon as we walked inside, we felt welcomed, and even enveloped in a low-key but very genuine holiday atmosphere. A place where we could relax and catch up for a couple of hours. The food was terrific. Beautifully cooked T-bone with the best onion rings on earth, a large and comforting baked potato with sour cream, very good oysters with an especially good mignonette, and a chocolate souffle for dessert. Since our family has diminished over the years, our dinners have gotten smaller. The Knickerbocker made us feel like we belonged to a larger community this Christmas. The lighting, the ambiance, the welcoming vibe, the terrific food -- all was perfect. Many thanks to the owner and staff (including an older man who was our waiter -- he was so very kind) for a perfectly wonderful Christmas experience. We loved every bit of it and appreciate the way you run your restaurant. A big MWAH from us!

I have been coming to this place for 17 years now and I always enjoy my meal here. Very pleasant staff, great steaks and great selection of wines. My favorite steakhouse in NYC! The cornbread is to die for.

Knickerbocker is an awesome go-to place in the neighborhood. They never fail. Consistent quality, service and environment. Bartenders can’t be beat! Top notch food, service, ambiance. You can even have conversations over dinner. Don’t miss their Halloween decor!

Dream of a place. Live jazz weekend nights, quiet, relaxed, neighborhood spot full of regulars. Great service, good food, reasonable prices. You can’t beat the old New York feel. It’s like being in a communal living room, in the best way possible. This has been one of my favorite places (on earth) for well over a decade and is still as much of a gem as the first day I walked in. Nothing showy, just genuine goodness all around. Great place to come to catch up with an old friend

Absolutely love this place. We found it on a trip to NYC, now make it a point every time we are in town. The steak frites are my favorite, my husband gets the huge 28oz steak. Has been consistent everytime we’ve been.

This is a top-notch steakhouse, yes, but it's also one of a dying breed - the classic NY neighborhood restaurant, full of congenial regulars and general good cheer. The food is uniformly excellent; I've had some of the best steaks of my life here. Anything else you order will be great as well, though - the smoked salmon/latke appetizer, the Caesar salad, short ribs, the fried chicken special. You can't go wrong. The bar scene here is particularly cozy, mainly due to the personalities of the very, very talented bartenders: Fiona, Hazel and Norma. Order a martini - unlike a lot of overpriced restaurants in the Village (I could name names) you'll get a generous pour and a well-made drink. This is a restaurant that works equally well for a weekday dinner and a special occasion. There's jazz on Friday and Saturday nights and the dining room nevers gets too loud for conversation. The well-dressed John and Jake will greet you at the door and seat you like you're family. Go ahead, have another martini...

K

So delicious. Had that “old New York” feel without the extraordinary prices. Get the caviar pie, it was to die for. Key lime pie was one of the best I’ve ever had. The filet was forgettable, but the truffle butter was delightful. Favorite part was the martini we got, they did you real good. 🍸

Reccomended by a local we had the opportunity to try their famous T-bone last Saturday.Really very good. They were very kind, the place is confortable and for us (italian) charming. Jazz was perfect to create intimitate atmosfere. I hope to come back...when in NYC. Thank you to accept our last minute reservation . Very easy to reach it by subway from midtown.

Have loved coming to Knickerbocker for special occasion lunches and dinners for years. The restaurant has such an old world chic and elegance and the food and service are always fantastic. We had a wonderful steak dinner the other night, the first time back since covid. It was overall a lovely experience! I had forgotten how delicious their steak is, and what a perfect meal it makes paired with the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes... classics done well! I simply love this gem of a restaurant.

We dined at Knickerbocker 3 times during our holiday. First time we were there with relatives who live locally and recommended it. Server was poor and kept saying she would be back, but she was inattentive and uninterested. Food and atmosphere was good so we went back. Next 2 occasions we dined as a couple and were fortunate to have Jonathan as a server. He was exceptional. He remembered our order from first time he served us and was helpful with menu choices. He was friendly and welcoming but knew when to give us time and space. Jonathan is an asset to the restaurant who should be recognised for his skills.

From the moment you step in, the classic steakhouse ambiance promises an exceptional dining experience, and they absolutely deliver. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the T-Bone steak. The quality for the price is simply outstanding – tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. This isn't just a great steak; it's a great value, which is a rare find for such high quality in New York City. And don't even think about leaving without trying the chocolate soufflé. It's a dessert that dreams are made of – rich, airy, and literally melts in your mouth with every spoonful. A perfect culmination to an already superb meal. This is the best steakhouse in all of NYC! A must-visit for any steak lover.

If I can add an extra 5 stars to each topic. Casually walked by hoping we can enjoy a dinner without a Reservation. And as soon as we walked in. We were greeted asap by an amazing host. And sat us down super quick ! The server Alejandro I believe his name, was fantastic. Answered all questions . And was a great server . Kudos to alejando on the team. And the atmosphere is definitely something that made me want to come back for sure !!! Thanks for a great dinner

I have to say a few years ago I went to this establishment for lunch with my girlfriend who now my wife and they were very nice down-to-earth and they welcome you....with open arms..... I asked the gentleman that was serving us if it was okay, what I was wearing because my wife and myself were just shopping around the neighborhood so I wasn't dressed too par but the gentleman said..you are dressed fine. The waitress and the food and the establishment was 100% on point. I'd figured i would give a review...this is a must have restaurant to frequent if you're in the area....rob...

Come here several times a year. Love the caricatures and claasic posters. The T-bone steak for one I got uncut this time served on a warm ceramic plate. The steak stayed warm the whole time which kept me taking bites when normally full.

I went here for the first time for lunch a few weeks ago. This is a great restaurant conveniently located to our company's nearby office as well as Union Square and NYU area. I ordered the Cobb Salad after our server mentioned to me they ran out of ingredients for their Cuban sandwich (which shows it's one of their most popular dishes). Not the best Cobb Salad I ever had, but it is something I would get again next time if their Cuban sandwich is not available. The decor of this restaurant is also awesome and has that old school NYC feel. I also like the bread they give you during your meal.

W

Hands down, one of my favorite eating establishments ever...and the drinks are fantastic too. Zero pretentiousness & perfect ambiance. 100% quality. Amazing wait staff. Food is phenomenal. Do yourself a favor & get the T-bone steak with mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms & spinach, but start with the French Onion soup! For dessert, you'd be remiss if you didn't order the cast iron chocolate chip cookie for two (give yourself 20 mins for this masterpiece to be made to order).

It's a nice classy restaurant with friendly staff near NYU. A bit on the upscale side. It's more "fish and chips" as opposed to "nuggets and fries". They have some interesting artwork on the walls from the prohibition and WW2 era.

Classic old-school steakhouse Knickerbocker Bar & Grill truly stands out amongst the Village, embodying just what New York is about: brilliant food with excellent service and atmosphere. The walls are decorated with paintings and signed New Yorker cartoons, adding to the generally nostalgic vibe. The menu is voluminous, with top-shelf quality dishes to satiate your wildest dreams. One should begin with the caviar pie, which serves as a delectable appetizer that starts the entire meal. A rich and savory option would include the French onion soup to start off the meal. The main course delivers with its perfectly cooked T-bone steak, elevated by the delightful truffle butter. The creamed spinach is also a staple side that works well with whatever steak dish one orders. Excellent service with waiters who make you feel part of the family, adding to the historic vibe of NYC. However, what really completes this atmosphere is the performance of jazz. It's just an excellent location for any special occasion. If you do have room for dessert, the soufflé is an impressive ending to an already impressive menu. All in all, Knickerbocker Bar & Grill is a great dining experience that's well worth the money, especially if you want to go all out and get a taste of old New York in the Village. Highly recommended!

Knickerbocker Bar & Grill definitely deserves to be on a short list of best restaurants in NYC. We recently returned there while visiting New York. The ambiance and service and food were as wonderful as ever. Their Caviar pie, smoked salmon and trademark T-bone for two were all perfect. What a joy to see “that you can go home again!” We were also so pleased to see that our favorite Knickerbocker employee,Johnathon, was there. He embodies the quality and beautiful disposition that exudes from this storied restaurant. We also must mention our server, Abraham, who operates on such a high level of attention and care…. He truly made our visit extraordinary. Knickerbocker remains the best steak place in Greenwich Village…. What a joy….and a very easy 5 Star review.

I went here for the first time tonight as it's Carnevale and I really wanted a steak before my Lenten fast. This place was great! Relaxed, nice surroundings and great steak *and* a great value for NYC. I don't understand the few negative reviews about the staff. Every single person working here was friendly and accommodating. And my waiter went above & beyond--he was the best. Unfortunately, I was alone, but will definitely be back with friends to share a soufflé and some appetizers!

One of the best restaurants in the village. I grew up going to this restaurant from when I was a child. I love the atmosphere and the music they have playing certain nights. The food is very good too. I don't understand some of the negative reviews about pricing. I'm a native New Yorker and almost every food joint is expensive today especially in certain areas of Manhattan let's be real. And most places eventually go under if they don't change high enough thanks to landlords hiking stuff up way too fast. The service has always been good too. Even if I didn't have a reservation they have always got a table pretty quickly even if the restaurant was almost full. I highly recommended!!

This is a great place to splurge. Had a terrific crab cake, roasted chicken Giannone with squash and cherries, and an amazing chocolate cake. There’s a great old New York vibe, and in a sea of restaurants with rising prices, this place deserves it for the quality.

Couldn't love this place more - the welcoming vibe, old school feel, genuinely kind and attentive staff, and outstanding food. Greeted warmly at the door, seated at an awesome table, and served throughout the night by tremendous waiters and waitresses. Drinks were good, appetizers were great, but the t-bone steak (for 4!) was the star of the show. Chocolate souffle also top notch - you couldn't find a better one in France if you tried. Absolutely loved our dinner from start to finish.

Very nice meal! Our server, Maria was wonderful, the right mix of professional, friendly and attentive without being interruptive. The food - aside from the skin on a baked potato being to blackened to eat - was wonderful. The manager(?) had “words” with one of the staff in the dining room, clearly souring the rooms atmosphere a bit, but the staff continued to take care of the room professionally. All in all a very nice meal. (And I didn't need to eat the potato skin anyway!🙂)

This place is a delight. Very cool and moody inside, feels both cozy and comforting and also like some dramatic dinner would happen there in some show like the sopranos. When we went we weren't hungry enough for dessert but rest assured we'll be back because my god everything was great and I'm sure the good times only get better. I got the salmon, which was fabulous, again with the salmon in this town, it's never let me down. We split a Caesar and that was enough with the fabulous bread selection which included as a suprise the BEST cornbread I think I've ever had. Oh my lord. I'm gonna have to find out if they sell it separately, because I would buy a weekly loaf of that golden fabulous dream bread. I forget the name of our waiter but he had red hair and he was a wonderful time and answered all of my father's random assortments of questions. Just a gem. We can't wait to go back.

Went here to celebrate Lou's birthday. We had a fantastic time. The server treated us like family, the vibe feels like historic NYC, the food is well worth the price. Our table ordered the classic knickerbocker 28 ounce steaks to share (with baked potato, mash potato and creamed spinach), tuna plates and off menu meatloaf special . We also had calamari, beet salad, cornbread and caviar pie appetizers. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and plated. I would love to come back on a jazz performance night. Highly recommend this place and well worth the price, especially for a special occasion.

This classic, old New York - where the real New Yorkers go - steakhouse is supreme! The best! A classic dining hall with the absolute best service. Just an old school top waiters and service period full stop. The walls are covered in paintings and signed New Yorker cartoons. There's a piano covered with bottles of booze. The food is tremendous, just top shelf quality everything. My gut was bursting at the seams as I walked out content and spontaneously breaking out into song. Thank you Knickerbocker for this wonderful Christmas experience

Oh…my…gosh. I literally just left and said I need to do a review ASAP… the place was so good! The T-bone steak was so good and the sides and fried onions rings. It was big enough to feed 2-3. I ate it by myself. Its priced so well, I def wouldn’t mind paying more if they upped the price. That’s how good it was. The drinks were STRONG and good. I can’t wait to come back when I visit New York again. I would pick this place over any other place for a good steak. When I come back I’m definitely trying other things on the menu so I can try everything! It’s worth it! Also I would like to say The staff was excellent, from the hostess to the waiter to the bar tender! Love everything about this place!

Comfy neighborhood bar and grill. Good for entertaining all ages because menu features something for everyone from St. Louis ribs to grilled salmon and a hefty Caesar salad. Big portions. Delicious truffle Bleu cheese fries. Lots of desserts. Well priced, old-fashioned quiet vibe, and very good service.

I lived in the neighborhood of this bar/steakhouse/restaurant during my undergraduate days at NYU, from 1969 to '73, passing it daily on my way from my dorm, The Brittany, to classes and back again. In those days, I couldn't afford to eat there. Amazingly, this establishment still exists (50+ years later!), looks the same, and is still serving excellent meals. The menu is quite varied, specials are well thought out, and service is consistently excellent. It's a go-to place for those of us from the Brittany who still get together to both reminisce and maintain current friendships as we meet several times a year. One of these days, I plan to be there during the time they add live ensemble jazz to the mix. So yes, I recommend the Knickerbocker as another destination in the Village.

This could become your next old favorite, because the food and service are plentiful and welcoming. It’s not at all just for steaks, though the steaks are pretty darn good; it’s great for families or largish parties (no party room, however); as a long-standing fine and classy neighborhood place, it can’t be beat. It’s just not for gourmets, that’s all

K

Great service as is the food. Had the T-Bone steak which they are known for. Their french fries was so good that the plate was empty within minutes. Great place for a small party. Fair pricing for the general area. Street parking and mass transit available.

5 Stars for food. Service good luck! Have dined 3 occasions (2 Ava & Maria.. 5 Stars) tonight trouble ordering wine with dinner. Appetizers lobster bisque & fresh oysters incredible after which the server ask for menus, rather than our main courses. Filet, cooked to perfection, & pasta again "5 stars". Interrupted during dinner to be informed, "dessert may take a little longer ". Only to hear server ask table across from us whether they cared for dessert (w/out disclaimer). Was hurried out only to go enjoy dessert & after dinner drinks down the street. GO FOR FOOD! Good luck w/ service.

I love this restaurant and especially on days when there is live music. A very nice, almost family atmosphere. Very friendly staff, good food at reasonable prices and the chocolate soufflé is a dream💖. We were back in NYC for Christmas after 5 years and had a fantastic time. Since our hotel is not far from the Knickerbocker, we went there for dinner on the first evening. Nothing had changed in all those years. The food was great as always and of course we had the delicious chocolate soufflé for dessert. We liked it there so much that we ate there twice in one week and had a drink at the bar almost every evening. The ladies behind the bar are super friendly and contribute a lot to a good atmosphere, which is even better on the weekends with live music. We increased my rating for the food and atmosphere to 5 stars. Since we were a little sad that our favorite waitress, I think her name was Dian or Diane, was no longer there, we only gave the service 4.5 stars. Of course the other waiters were friendly too, but Dian or Diane had a warm, motherly manner and made the guests feel like they were coming home, that's what a restaurant visit is all about. We'll be back in town in August and would love to come back for dinner and more. Best wishes from Germany.

Kind service here! Very nice people and a clean, good atmosphere. But the food was disappointing. Got the beef stew and there was very little beef in it. I don't expect a full steak's worth but it was noticeably lacking. Loaded with vegetables but there was also very very little broth, maybe half a cup. I'd like to go back and try a steak dinner instead! Wine was just ok.

Update 3/21/25: great experience for dinner! Excellent, attentive service. Caviar Pie innovative and tasty. Steak perfectly cooked. Soufflé executed very well, which is tricky to get right. Relaxing vibe to unwind with soft jazz in the background. Upgraded stars! Fish was good. Old-school vibe. Service so-so; to her benefit it was quite hectic when I dined.

I have been in KB many times and never left dissapointed. I know what you can normally get so that is why today I am giving a 4. First off I want to give credit to our server. He is a pro and know exactly how to treat his customers. Now, the T-Bone special did not meet KB's standards and that was dissapointing. It wasn't bad, and the cooking level was as I expected but the size was smaller than usual and the quality did not impress. For sure I will be back, and I have no reservations when I say that.

Great old school restaurant with classic menu choices. It was a great place for a small group to drink and eat and catch up. Generous portions of food and we all enjoyed the key lime pie for dessert. Side note: loved all the artwork on the walls too. Great conversation starters (especially if you have someone named Nina in your group). ;)

Nice, typical American Italian restaurant. Good service, you can see they have a lot of regulars.

I had a great experience with my friends that are visiting in town! Very pricey, but definitely worth it in my opinion.

nice local dining option. the french onion soup was really solid - nothing unique about it but it didn’t have that heavy, cloyingly sweet taste that some have. the cheese was magnificent. i ordered the monkfish special and truffle mashed potatoes for an entree and the potatoes were tasty with a mild and not at all overpowering truffle flavor. drinks were a good pour and the Knick Knack was rum punch-like but the southern comfort took it in a slightly different direction. very nice meal and no price gouging.

Shrimp cocktail: 3/5 Served in a martini glass with a layer of sauce at the bottom and blue tortilla chips on the plate. Shrimp were fresh and tender; cocktail sauce was tangy with a hint of fruitiness. Paired with a dirty martini (gin = Hendrick’s), which fit the vibe perfectly. We booked an 8:45 reservation to catch the jazz duo and were happy to be seated near the piano. Also ordered: T-bone for one with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, spaghetti, chocolate chip cookie for two with ice cream, and bottle of Tuscan wine. Tables are well spaced and comfortable. Excellent food and service overall!

I was seated near the bar area on Thanksgiving at about 5:15 PM and saw an elderly lady enter with 2 others. She was seated very close to the door in the front and I heard her tell the maitre d she was cold because of the door constantly opening near her seat. The maitre d refused to seat her towards the back in a warmer area even after she said she had some health issues and the cold air was bothering her and making her uncomfortable. He finally agreed to move the party over one table, still in an area close to the front and the steady opening door. Seniors should be accommodated, I believe it is THE LAW. I hope she sees this and replies.

The company was excellent, the cocktails pretty solid! Liked the food too but found the service a little slow even though the restaurant wasn’t too busy. The air conditioning seemed to be struggling too so we were a little warm too. NTL, we’d go again and see if we might have just had an off night!

This place was good. To start we had the French onion soup and the ceasar salad. Fair warning: the Ceasar has actual pieces of anchovies on it. For the mains, I ordered the petit filet mignon with fries and truffle butter. Everything was good, I wasn't blown away with flavor but it was good. They also have a person playing the piano at 9pm which was nice during dinner. If you're looking for really good cocktails though, this is not the place. I ordered a cocktail and it was not balanced, it was WAY too strong and made me feel sick after two sips.

We've been coming here since the early 1990's and it's one of the last archetypical New York "steakhouses". Live jazz, good food, East Village location, people who know your name, familiar (as in yummy) food, strong drinks, a solid wine list that's not ostentatious and John who can grant you a prime table on a Saturday night at 8pm. The old Gotham Bar and Grill is no longer, Ray's Pizza is long gone, Balducci's a distant memory, Dallas BBQ - who?, 1/5 Steakhouse, B Daltons, the Olive Tree Cafe, Figaro's and the Rocky Horror Picture Show during 8th Street's heyday as one of the most popular streets in NYC are pure nostalgia, but the Knickerbocker lives on in person, unchanged. Thank you John and Craig for the easy evening. Good food, good wine, good times here.

Good cocktails, shrimp cocktail was good except one shrimp wasn’t clean (poop still in it). Filet mignon had a large chunk of fat which was odd and a bit disappointing. I had minor diarrhea afterwards. Good mashed potatoes.

I sat at the bar and was served by Fiona, who was amazing!!! The food on the other hand wasn’t so great. They have lobster bisque soup, which wasn’t really lobster bisque. It was a lobster flavored broth with about four whole shrimp in it and zero lobster meat. The soup was bland, the shrimp tasted like old frozen shrimp from the grocery store. Nonetheless, Fiona was Jane on the spot and took it off of my bill. Nonetheless, it stays open pretty late and it has a good vibe. I don’t think I’ll eat here again but would definitely go to the bar, have a drink and talk to Fiona.

Good service, atmosphere and dishes presentation. They give you some bread and butter before the food, which is hard, I had a fight to get the pieces and the butter in my house is better. I give 6 from 1 to 10 to the food. Chicken is dry, not juicy, just the center Seafood is not soft neither. Lot for improvement. Nothing for me here I won't come back.

The fillet mignon was mediocre at its best and burned on a more than a few spots. There was a hair in the salad and fries were too salty. The presentation on the plate was more like it was done by a middle school kid rather than a chef in Greenwich Village🤦‍♂️ Ambiance was nice and the staff were friendly and the service was fast. Overall I think even cheesecake factory has better food and you can find 100 gril bars better than this place. Specially with no live music !

The plates were rather small. Our server took forever coming back and getting our orders. For my meal I ordered a smoked salmon Benedict. It was alright but I was disappointed in the plate sizes. If I had known they were that small i would have ordered something else. The dessert was pretty good. I ordered a banana bread pudding.

Horrible experience with very rude host at the door. Haven't been treated so rudely in a long time.

All the food was absolutely terrible no taste. From the bread to the shrimp cocktail was so bland. The steaks were all almost burnt. Inedible for the 4 of us. Do not waste your time and money to come here.

They served us a tbone without the filet and tried to tell us not all tbones have a filet part 😳. The crazy thing is, I read another one star google review of this happening to someone else! It’s a scam that they run apparently! There are so many places to get a good steak in New York City. Do not go to this place. I can’t believe I’ve been in business as long as they have.

They wouldn’t sit us because it was “rush hour” and they wouldn’t want to do an order of dessert, so strange. Guy host at the front was very rude there are better options in the area. UPDATE: I am surprised that the restaurant would think their comment back was well executed. The restaurant was empty, so we were not taking seats from anyone. Also people at the bar were just ordering drinks, not entrees and we were also not allowed to sit there. This was discrimination at its finest, and it absolutely warranted one star.

Walked in for a glass of wine at the bar, lady gave me the bottom of the bottle, didn't let me try it , she would squeeze the last drop of it if she could, while the white gentleman next to me been nicely asked to try test his Cabernet. Went to restroom came back asked for a beer, because I personally never drink the last glass when I go out ( I don't know how long that bottle been open for , how much air got it, simply the wine test different). After I been outside for a smoke I came to the bar to see they took my drink and a guy named simply *John* asked me to leave the place because they no longer want to serve me. Why? NO Answer! I think they don't like people with a beard and no mustache so for me It's simple A VERY RACIST PLACE that claim to be what they will never be! I been traveling for long time and this NEVER happend to me. Been RACIALLY PROFILED and KICKED OUT ON A FRIDAY NIGHT IN FRONT OF FAMILYS having dinner you should be ASHAMED!!!!! Ain't no place for this kind of action in 2025 in NYC I wish your business go like how you made me feel that night!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant that felt discriminatory and unwelcoming. When we were finally seated, our server made it very clear that if every person at the table did not order a full entrée, we “shouldn’t have been seated in the first place.” This policy was never communicated upfront, and the tone in which it was delivered was dismissive and embarrassing. Dining out is supposed to be an inclusive and enjoyable experience, but we were made to feel unwelcome and singled out. It is unacceptable to treat paying customers this way. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because no one should leave a restaurant feeling disrespected or discriminated against.
