Oh, fair Wawa, thou art a jewel in the crown of convenience, a haven for weary travelers and hungered souls alike. With thy bountiful offerings of sustenance, from hearty hoagies to delectable pastries, thou dost enchant the palate with each savory bite. Thy noble coffee, brewed with care, doth awaken the senses and banish drowsiness with its robust flavor. One of my favorite gas station and convenience store chains serving the eastern United States. Always clean and friendly. Great selection of food and beverages. Hot food offerings have great flavor and are good for a lunch or dinner on the go. Healthy options for fruits and veggies. House brand beverages are good flavored and great values.
Wawa's usually a great pit stop for a cold beverage, a quick bite to eat, and good old gasoline. But my visit today was to put air in my tire which is free so that's always a major plus.
I came to this Wawa on Sunday, April 23 around 11am, and an associate named Carol took my somewhat complicated special order, and made two of the best looking items I have ever received at Wawa! She made a hoagie and a breakfast sandwich, and they were both absolutely fantastic according to me and my boyfriend. Carol was polite, friendly, and answered all of my questions. She truly is an asset to this Wawa and to the company overall !! Thank you for your kind and friendly service, Ms. Carol !!
Very busy place but the employees for the most part are nice and try their best while being understaffed. The F&B manager seriously needs to be replaced with someone who can better handle the stressors of their job and doesn’t take it out on her customers or her employees. Very rude at 7am on a weekend when there still isn’t a rush of people coming in. I’d hate to see her during an actual rush.
The cashier Eden always has the best attitude and an addictive smile.She is very courteous and keeps the line moving simotanously with a friendly hello. The service definitely brings you back. Five stars to you Eden...
This is one of the friendliest Wawas I visit. The staff is always attentive and ready to help. Typically the store is one of the cleanest unless one of the homeless folks who live in the woods behind the store have bathed in the bathroom sink. This is my go to spot!
Busiest place in Apopka weekday mornings between about 6:00 am and 9:00 am. Need an Apopka police officer? Stop by the Wawa in the mornings and you'll find them there (typically the guys in charge meeting over coffee). Want gas? You can have it in the mornings but you may need to wait in line. The rest of the day there typically is not a line and the gas prices are usually very competitive. I stop almost every morning for a sizzly and drink on the way into the office. I've found the staff to be consistently friendly and helpful, though they are often very busy as they place is, as I mentioned, very crowded. Prices on beverages are typical of a gas station but the Wawa also makes breakfast and lunch sandwiches on-demand - and they're good too. I don't drink coffee but I'm told that it's top notch. Getting back to gas, they have ethanol free gas, which is more expensive, but if you have a boat or lawn mower it's the best choice. They also have diesel.
Love going to WAWA's. Gas and Coffee. Donuts and a menu of different foods and Drinks to order. There's the Sofa Fountain also where you can make your own iced drinks and Smoothies too. They do have a cold storage in the back which has cold Beer and Wines. We all enjoy going.
Mercie was super helpful and patient. I had a gift card that was causing trouble at the register, and she swooped in and kept the line moving while dealing with the card situation. She was committed to service and troubleshooting. Her caring attitude was awesome and she deserves any type of raise/promotion/recognition for her work!

Wawa.makes great subs too order and has a lot of pre-made ready to go hot food to grab something on the Fly. It's clean bathrooms are nice and tidy and spotless most of the time. Service is good staff is friendly and helpful

A huge plus is that they have the self pay kiosk located by the registers to bypass the long lines. Would of given 4 stars but the service after 11 pm on certain days is terrible. Had to wait at the register for 5 mins while 3 staff members huddled by the chip rack talking about their personal lives. No care in the world to even check once in while if someone was at the counter. If it wasn't for the person behind the counter making sandwiches, alerting them there are people at the register, I would definitely leave without any purchase. These individuals have no customer etiquette. Now i just go to racetrac few miles past this location. At least they have self check out registers. I prefer wawa but given recent subpar services, i figured wawa doesn't care enough to check up on how their stores customer services measure up. I guess since they're building more stores, their big corporation status will be nothing more than status quo.
I like this Wawawa, but the woman that serves the drinks in the morning is super slow. I waited over 12 minutes for my drink. By the time I got my drink, my food was cold. They really need to find something else for her to do because she is horrible in the morning. The next time I see her there, I’m not even going to purchase anything I’m going to walk out. This is the fifth time I’ve had to wait over 10 minutes for my drink when they were only two or three people ahead of me.
This store USED to be a great place to get Excellent coffee & breakfast. However in the past year it's gone way down hill! 2 days in a row all they had was 12 OZ coffee cups, paid for a large coffee and the girl at the counter didnt even know that! Spoke to the manager and asked how hard is it to keep 24 OZ cups on his store, and how hard is it to let your people working at the counters let customers know there are no medium or large coffee cups available. His response was not friendly in anyway, pretty much was an Ahole! Not sure who at this store or thier Regional Corporate Office reads these reviews, but it my opinion, the whole staff need to either have a wake up call or be replaced, especially the main store manager!
This Wawa really has issues with their Cappuccino machine it is always broke or they are out of order on French Vanilla or Hot Chocolate. When you drive 20 mins to get to the store this does not make for a pleasant customer experience. Happen 2 out of 2 times visiting in a weeks time. Then called to see if issues were fixed and no one answers the phone after 4 times calling. Not what I have every experienced at a Wawa before. Just this location I have had the issues with and its the closest to my house.
So here’s the thing... I’ve been going to this wawa since freshman year of high school. As soon as I got my license sophomore year I would go here everyday before school to get a coffee and my favorite breakfast burrito. When I graduated I moved so I didn’t go as much, but today I was back into town and I work with customers, been a server for 4 years so I know what I’m talking about. As I was watching everything go down, it was astonishing. There were only two and a half cooks working on sandwiches, by half I mean two were supposed to be there but the manager was there to probably help out cause they were understaffed for that day or something. While there were a bunch of employees that they just finished there shift, which the probably get a 50% discount on there food or something... while they are trying to serve them first before serve the customers who pay full prices on there meals. Not only that but I checked out at 12:22 and didn’t get my food until 12:43 when I was there before some of the employees showed up. Not only that but I didn’t even get my sour cream that I paid for. So this place has really gone down hill since I was in high school. Really displeased with this experience.

The staff is excellent. The prices are a bit high. $2.89 for a 30oz soda!!! Circle k sells it for $0.79 or ($1.29 regular price) Its highway robbery... And they rely WAY too much on unmanned kiosk/terminal systems for ordering hot food, or buying lotto. If they didn't require the use of unmanned systems for those, I'd be buying hot foods and scratches tickets here.
Get your ice somewhere else. The new system is a mess, the area is dirty and the ice is half melted before it gets in the bag. If you need 2 bags of ice there isnt anywhere but the dirty soaked floor to put the first bag.. bad planning.

The customer service at this location sucks. They were out of coffee and when we ask the employee from the area for it she was really rude, “she said: well we are out” this happened today 01/27/19 at 9:500m. I’ve never had a bad experience at any Wawa before. This location needs better employees. Even my 11 year old daughter said she looked like she didn’t liked her job.
I've been going to this one for about a year now, and I have to say that it has gone downhill quite quickly. In the past 3 months, everything has changed. Today, I ordered a pepperoni marinara sub that had 4 paper thin slices of pepperoni, no marinara, and almost no garlic aoli, which I had asked for. This has happened with every single order that I have had in the past 3 months. When I first started going there, I would have given them 5 stars,but now I will not be returning to this one. And I work right across the street.
How at 7:30 on a Saturday morning do you not have your breakfast menus loaded in your machines so someone can order breakfast. All the staff could say was it was loading but 20 minutes later still wasn’t loaded. Absolutely ridiculous! Not that I think they care but just lost my business. This Jersey guy who grew up with Wawa is very disappointed!!!! Update: Tried them again and again they do not have basic breakfast food at 8am on a Sunday. I understand there is a shortage but their lack of products and especially lack of communication has a lot to be desired!
Usually a great place to stop and quickly grab something on my way to work. Today was terrible. Only ordered a smoothie. Took at least 10 mins to get it. Tara behind the counter looked miserable and moved like a sloth. Maybe fast paced retail is not for her. Thanks to the gut that finally took over so people good get their drinks.
Literally, the worst managed wawa ever. Hope you can wait for a minimum of 30 minutes for your order. The deli people shouldn't be allowed to build legos much less a sandwich.
Never have hot coffee at 530 to 6 pm When you ask they get bother donut display always empty at the same time too when I ask always tell me that they haven't received the fresh product until midnight this my normal stop to go to work daily in the evenings I'm not to happy been the most closest to me
This location never has foam large cups. Travel throughout Orlando area throughout the day other locations have foam cups. When I ask about foam cups I am told Wawa never provides foam cups anymore. If this was true then why do other locations continually have them over a many months now.Provide foam cups like the rest of the locations.
Every single time I order something for pickup nobody ever comes to the spot # and I call the store a million times and no one ever answers. I’ll be taking my $ elsewhere. Plenty of other places who are happy to do their jobs.
Wawa pizza is the most disgusting pizza i’ve ever had in my life. It’s massively overpriced at FIFTEEN dollars as well so you’re far better off just getting a fresh pizza at a real pizza place somewhere where they’ll make it fresh. I’d be shocked if wawa pizza wasn’t just frozen pizza they pop in the oven. The crust is chewy and stale, it tastes burnt, and the cheese is gelatinous and tastes like freezer burn. I actually feel sick to my stomach that I ingested ANY of this pizza and i three it out immediately. Shame i wasted so much money on expensive garbage but atleast now i know to stay far far away. Also, a homeless guy accosted me on the way into the store. He showed me his prison ID and begged for money and then blamed me for being racist when I refused. This wawa is a scary place to be. I’d recommend staying far away but if you’re really desperate just make sure you lock your car and be mentally prepared for a fight on your way in/out.
I go in there every single day. Sometimes 3 times a day and they never have ice coffee every time I go in there. They don't have any in the back. I used to gotta wait for somebody to fill the machine. Or they just don't order it. I've gone there when trucks delivered. And they don't have regular race coffee.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I used to love this place. I'm not even the type of person that writes reviews, but I'm honestly surprised at what I experienced. I've been coming here since it's opened and the customer service has really gone downhill and stayed downhill consistently. How is it? I go at 6:00 a.m. on the dot for fresh coffee and there's nobody behind behind the coffee station. (I saw two employees in the back storage room giggling )All the coffees are pulled back. There's like three gross flavors and then they're staring at us because we're staring at them waiting for them to refill it and they didn't even say hi. They didn't give us an estimated wait time. They were just standing around or in the back chit-chatting with each other and giggling when I feel like as a business they should know. 6:00 a.m. is a rush time so they should have coffee already being made if not made already to beat the rush. The only reason why I'm making a review is because as me and my fiance were walking out we heard a boy say "first come first serve" I understand that there's probably a 4:00 a.m. Rush. There's probably a 5:00 a.m. Rush but as a business you're supposed to prepare for those things not have a bunch of people come in for coffee at 6:00 a.m. And then tell them sorry like first come first serve Really disrespectful. Probably never going back there. If any management is aware of the reviews or takes a look at this. I'm sure you can see the decline and unless you're proud of having people who work like that for you, there's just no excuse. I didn't say anything. I wasn't being rude. I saw some construction on the side, but I see wawa clean/update their stores while open so I thought nothing of it. It’s nothing to simply say “sorry ma’am we’re closed” Instead, I was yelled at saying “CLOSED CLOSED CLOSED” Just thought it was rude and unprofessional. Definitely won’t be coming back unless I’m grabbing deliveries. Please do better with your customer service.

This location is so incompetent in their deli. They are consistent in the regard to continuing to get orders wrong, or they delete your order and not fulfill them letting you wait 15-20 minutes before telling you. You can tell their food items aren’t stored at proper temperatures by the taste sometimes. Of all the locations I have been to, this location seems to be the spot of continued problems with simple orders. I keep giving them chances hoping it will get better. It won’t. And don’t order your items on the app because they won’t give you your money back. I will never spend a dime at this location again. Beware of the Deli at this location. It is a food poisoning incident waiting to happen. They give zero care of food safety and I will make sure the health department is made aware.

She was so rude when I told her I didn’t like the coffee she made, the lady through my $8 damn coffee in the trash then tried to act like she was making a new one then took the coffee she threw in the trash out the trash and put it in a new cup and put whip cream on it to act like she made a new one, this could literally get this company a law suit and they got this miserable woman making peoples drinks! You can tell their food items aren’t stored at proper temperatures by the taste sometimes. Of all the locations I have been to, this location seems to be the spot of continued problems with simple orders. I keep giving them chances hoping it will get better. It won’t. And don’t order your items on the app because they won’t give you your money back. I will never spend a dime at this location again. Beware of the Deli at this location. It is a food poisoning incident waiting to happen. They give zero care of food safety and I will make sure the health department is made aware.
