Really good pizzoccheri. A great place to eat in the Aprica area, with a lovely view. The food is very authentic, and the location is lovely. The kitchen feels like home, with an open view. There are chickens, dogs, and kittens roaming around—very cute. It must be lovely to eat outside in the summer. If you want to take a walk before or after lunch, take advantage of the Pian di Gembro right below.

We went to this tiny farmhouse near the Gembro plains. The place is very small, so book in advance. As soon as you walk in, you'll find the kitchen open to the public, making it feel like home. The food is truly top-notch, all homemade and freshly made. Be sure to order the pizzoccheri and the very special zabaglione. The locals are truly humble and very helpful. An absolute must-do experience! RECOMMENDED

I recently discovered this interesting "cascina" and I must admit it was a very pleasant surprise. We didn't try the pizzoccheri, preferring a cured meats appetizer and one of the many polenta-based dishes. The polenta with eggs and melted cheese and the polenta with grilled meat were very good, along with the homemade cakes. Unfortunately, due to the crowds, we couldn't find a table outside, which offers a spectacular view, but we'll be back for the pizzoccheri. Reservations are essential, as I've seen at least ten people booked out.

Quality comes at a price... and if you want to eat proper pizzoccheri (and the platter for two is incredibly generous), you can't go wrong here!! The cured meats and cheeses are homemade, and a portion of the appetizer is enough for two!! And then there's the view!!

Camerieri gentili,cucina buona,e luogo molto particolare. Fuori c'è una vista mozzafiato. Menú molto semplice ma molto buono.

Noi ci siamo fermati per un piccolo aperitivo... da provare... se posso permettermi leggermente caro ma visto i prodotti di buon livello può essere obbiettivamente giusto.... bella atmosfera paesaggio stupendo personale gentile e molto disponibile

Posto fantastico , propietari simpatici e gentilissimi compreso il personale. Piatti tipici e abbondanti, casalinghi e veramente buoni lo consiglio provatelo,e per finire la possibilità di comprare salumi e formaggio in una grotta all'interno del locale.

A family-friendly place, with limited food choices (an appetizer, a first course, and polenta with various accompaniments: braised beef, sausage, pork chop, eggs, or cheese), but the pizzoccheri are truly well-cooked, as are the second courses! It's just a shame that polenta, in these parts, is served sliced ​​and not on a nice platter (even a small one)! The zabaglione (a must for at least two) is truly excellent! Reservations are recommended.

Amazing location, a magical place. Nice service, friendly but very familiar and simple. The food is excellent, authentic and plentiful. There's not much choice, but the pizzoccheri are spectacular, and the cured meats aren't bad either. The price is a bit high, but eating there is priceless. The road is steep and winding, but it's worth it. Make a reservation.

Pizzocchero is a MUST here! A truly characteristic place with an open kitchen and a lit fireplace. I had lunch in this farmhouse with friends and it was all really pleasant. If I had to find a flaw, perhaps the bill was a little high... to eat pizzoccheri (for 4 adults and a child), a braised meat, 3 desserts, house wine and water... spent about 60 euros per couple (excluding the child). I expected a little less. But it is definitely a place where I would absolutely return!

Family run farmhouse where they serve just few local specialties, Pizzoccheri is their best (one portion serves two) and food in general is good. The place has a nice view. The only thing is that I found it a little bit too expensive for what we got but I understand the place doesn’t have too many customers in low seasons.

Found this place by chance during our lunch break. Let's just say the location is nothing to write home about! Truly a sight to behold!!! Surrounded by nature!
