Great meu! A lot to choose from and delicious all around. Aptos needed a restaurant like this. Eating at the location in Santa Cruz and now in Aptos - I couldn't be happier to know I can somehow beat the long lines for Great tasting Mexican food. The wait isn't bad if your looking for dinner during the rush. Customer Service is friendly and helpful with recommendations. The Salsa bar is a killer for senses - yummy! Now just waiting for the bar to open!

Excellent taqueria in Aptos! Clean, Fresh, affordable. My favorite is the green salsa made with avocado. The others are good too it just depends on your personal taste. Quick, reliable good and always fresh. I had the Baja style fish taco which was overflowing with fresh fish and the Torta con pollo which had tender fresh chunks of chicken and a fresh fresh bun. Did I mention Fresh?

I was looking for a local, and delicious place to grab some dinner before I went out for the night. This place popped up and was very close to where I had pulled over to search. Despite there being 3-4 locations, I didn't feel as if I was in a generic chain. The food was very fresh and came out hot. I had the grilled fish tacos. The chip and salsa bar was tasty. I loved the avocado verde and the other one that was very very spicy. The bartender (Marco) was cool and we had good conversation. The restaurant set-up style is fast food but it wasn't 'fast food' quality, meaning, this was very good. I would suggest that you go and find out for yourself. I'll be back if I ever get to travel there again.

Tacos were incredible. I got the pastor and the Baja fish tacos, their portions were huge and were delicious with every bite. My partner got the asada tacos and the carnitas and they were also excellent. These are some of my favorite tacos I’ve had, too bad I live so far away(4hrs)!

Thank goodness we have a new and wonderful Mexican restaurant in Aptos!! We won a Gift certificate to this restaurant, as Los Pericos had donated it during the Aptos Sports Foundation fund raiser. We are very satisfied with the food. It’s authentic, tasty, spicy…..GOOD.

Occasionally they get order details wrong, but the food is always excellent and and they've become a staple of mine and my partner's diet. Probably won't find a better taqueria in Aptos

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stopped by Taqueria Los Pericos in Aptos for lunch on Sunday, and it was fantastic! I had a burrito, and my partner got the fresh tostada, and both were absolutely delicious. You could tell the ingredients were super fresh. The service was great, too—everyone was very helpful and friendly. On top of the delicious food, the prices were just right. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this spot!

Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in the whole area. The portions are very generous, they use great quality meat which they cook perfectly, and the ingredients and sides all taste very fresh. Some of the most tender carne asada I’ve ever gotten, so far I’ve had their tacos and a super burrito and I left very satisfied. Will be coming back again and again when I’m in the area

Killer tacos, full of tasty meat. Tasted Pastor, Carnitas, Chorizo, Chile Verde but likely any are good. Recommend the "Pericos" taco for best mix. Don't need the xtras as regular is plenty. Burrito fans loved the Super. Yes these tacos have soft corn tortillas, tho menu also shows crispy. Earlier visit tried the Baja (fish) taco--was good but not as good as the meat varieties. Regular flan quite good, not really traditional but good. Coco flan was more like chocolate cake, not flan. Pickup good as you can grab bunch of their really good chipotle salsa and chips.

This place has a proper wet burrito if you're on a journey to find one that is done right. The 'Perico' branded/styled tacos are also good, but don't travel well. Best if you eat them on-site.

Really wanted to leave a 5 star review just because of how MASSIVE the burritos are! Unfortunately, there was a good amount of meat in my wife's vegetarian burrito.

Typical taqueria and the food is plentiful but unremarkable. I had the enchilada plate. Except for the meat, it was the usual refried beans and rice. Needed a quick meal, so not disappointed, but just not super impressed. My wife's shrimp taco were well cooked so that was 4-stars.

Paid about 18 for 3 tacos 2 asada 1 shrimp Soda sprite -They didn't look appealing to me. +For sures bigger portions. -the onion on the tacos were bigger chunks

I ordered a California burrito and it was really good but they forgot the guacamole so it was just so heavy with nothing fresh to lighten it up. I just get so peeved when you order a $15 burrito and they forget one of the most important toppings!

Every time we order a burrito, the carnitas are either replaced with carne asada or so overcooked they’re inedible. The beans and cheese are never melted, and overall it just feels like there’s no consistency anymore. We’ve continued to give it chances, hoping it’ll improve, but it hasn’t. Also, they never answer the phone. Pretty sure the line’s been dead since they set it up.

I don't know what happened to this location.. all the los pericos locations serve some of my favorite Mexican food in the county but the last two visits to this location have been EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING in comparison to the food I've been buying from all the locations in the past

I ordered a California burrito and it was really good but they forgot the guacamole so it was just so heavy with nothing fresh to lighten it up. I just get so peeved when you order a $15 burrito and they forget one of the most important toppings!

Ordered via DoorDash they got every burrito wrong and didn’t include chips and salsa I ordered. Food we got was not good either. Who puts lettuce inside a hot burrito was disgusting
