The food was great, the ingredients were really fresh and I enjoyed every single dish that was ordered. Their Thai tea was perfectly balance. The ambiance was great and I really appreciate the details they put into the restaurant design. I really felt like I went to Thailand which is amazing. The service was great. Our waiter was very accommodating and really nice. I appreciate the effort he put in and I definitely recommend this place. I've tried a lot of places and by far this was the best. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Bangkok West is one of the most beautiful Thai restaurants I’ve experienced in California. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous architecture and beautiful Thai artefacts. The food they serve is also very good. They also have a great buffet that is very inexpensive. The owner is very friendly and she has a great staff who are always polite and helpful. Whenever I have the opportunity to visit this restaurant I always feel like I’m in a very special place. This restaurant is definitely a great place for delicious Thai cuisine and wonderful customer experience.

Not only is this place beautiful, but the food is incredible! I was uncertain about the plum sauce for the spring rolls. But when combined with the peanut sauce, it's perfect! I also had the salmon green curry. It had a beautiful presentation and I didn't want to stop eating it! That's why there's no pictures of the food... it's gone!

BEST RESTAURANT EVER! The interior is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is super nice. Our appetizers came out within ten mins and the entrees were out about ten mins after that. The food was so delicious and perfect level of spice. SO GOOD I’m sad I don’t live closer so I could go every single day!

I don't remember ever leaving a review so here goes. Due to work, I've moved in and out of Santa Cruz but I always make sure to go back even if I live far. This was my first Thai restaurant that a best friend of mine took me to years ago, and it's still my favorite. Friendliest service and delicious food. My faves are the Pineapple Fried Rice, Massuman Beef curry, and their Thom Kha Gai soup!

This restaurant deserves all the business. The Pad Thai is my favorite, it’s the best I’ve had in the area. The Tom kha soup is deliciously creamy and tangy. I can taste the heat of ginger in the ginger tea. George Ow curry is another great dish. The place is cozy and full of interesting decorations. The staff is kind and is always checking on water refills etc. Never have been disappointed, always leave happy. Wonderful place.

Not been in CA for years, use to go here weekly. Was a pleasure to see that food service & friendlyness here as good as remembered. Had the red curry great flavor like I get in Thailand but less (heat spice 😂) good thing. Mom had the Pad-saw-ue good portion great looking & real noodles again like one would get in Thailand. We tried the beef with green beans and the chicken pad Thai. Both were tasty. The fresh spring rolls are a bit larger than I like, but still very good. Different navigation platforms route to here differently, use Google to be safe!

Great lunch specials, beautiful interior, aromas and kitchen sounds as they prepare your lunch fresh to order. Our dishes were great. We ordered everything "authentic Thai spicy" but still not close to real Thailand spicy. It must be hard for them, people order spicy and then say it's "too spicy" so the rest of us have to pay the price and never get authentic spice levels. I did drink three cups of ice water though 🤔. Anyhow, loved it. ❤️🌶️🔥💥🙏🏻🙌🏼

A quite and cozy place with very good food. We ordered fresh veggie rolls, seafood coconut milk soup, red and yellow curry. Yummy. We were seated outside with our dog #RRMars, by the beautiful garden. Coconut soup was no gluten and no dairy.

This will be without a doubt one of the best decorated Thai restaurants in the area. While you walk from parking lots, you'll be greeted with lush green gardens with the sound of flowing water. As you step inside, you'll not find a single spot where there is no decoration. Everything is there! One could decorate two or three thai restaurants with the items that are inside this location! The food was okay, as you would expect from a standard Thai restaurant. Tom Kha was good ( a bit saltier), the fried rice was good (the beef was of good quality). Their coconut base is also a solid foundation for the curries (we tried shrimp).

The service here is great. The food is tasty and so are their Thai ice teas. Portions are generous. I was lucky enough to have leftovers for lunch today.

I would give it a 10 STAR of I could. The Best Thai Food EVER. The decorations inside makes you feel like your in Thailand. As soon as I walked on it smelled Amazing. Bathrooms are very clean. Staff are very friendly. Apricot Bread Pudding is a must.

I ordered the green curry with a side of brown rice and my mother ordered the pad Thai. Both were absolutely delicious! The service was great, the interior decor is fabulous, and the price was wonderful too. Less than $50 for an appetizer and 2 dishes! Definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Really nice eclectic place with plenty of greenery. It’s wonderful to sit outside on a nice sunny day. The food is amazingly good I had the seafood Penang which was awesome! I was able to sit with my dog outside and enjoy a nice cold beer to start along with the complementary salad

100% a must visit restaurant if you're in the area. They offer plenty of authentic Thai cuisine at a relatively cheap price. The restaurant is a bit hidden, but once you get there you feel like you've traveled straight to Thailand. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming and the quality of the food was extraordinary!

This place has been around for ages and feels as new and inviting as the first time we dined there over 20 years ago. Lush garden entrance, opulent decor. Great selection of dishes to include vegetarian options. Beer and wine. Recommend!

Very enjoyable lunch in a space that is wonderfully elaborate, rich in detail. Almost over the top but not quite. And very attentive service, especially since we unintentionally arrived just before the kitchen closed. Loved the flaming Hot pot for the soup.

This place is really well decorated! It's a treat to the eye! We got seated quickly, and were asked if we wanted beverages quickly. The service was pretty good and the staff was very nice. I ordered Mango Salmon and it tasted amazing! The bathrooms were pretty clean except for one sheet of paper towel on the floor. However, I'm not giving this a 5 star rating because they didn't give us change! And no I'm not one of those people that will let a single thing ruin the experience. Although, it's still kind of a negative. Also, the gumballs were old. I just looked at the machine and one of them had a dark spot. That's kind of gross. However it's still a great place to go for dinner! Except, don't expect getting change back.

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place! It is so beautiful! Sadly, I think the food is just good, I wish it was outstanding but for me, it's just good. The service is not great. I think they often forget to check in on the tables. Overall, it's a really great place if you want a beautiful serene environment, decent food and to be left alone!

Buffett was ok, Fried rice was good, however i wasnt a fan of the tempura veggies or the noodles, not a lot of flavor there, also the the cilantro inside the veggie spring roll completely overpowered anything and everything else inside of it, it JUST tasted like cilantro.. the vibe was awesome however! I was completely impressed with the decor!

Cool spot. Food was solid, but not the best I have ever had...

First time eating at this restaurant while visiting a friend in this area. We were seated fairly quickly. Once the waitress was ready to take our order, she was curt and seemed bothered when we had questions about the menu. She didn’t offer us water or ask if we wanted anything else to drink. I will say that they gave us our food quickly and it was good. However, not once did she or any other wait staff check on us, offer more water, etc. Once the waitress saw we were done, she acted pleasant and gave us our checks. I left cash tip on the table and went to the front to pay with card. The same waitress was at the register to take payment. I obviously did not add tip on the receipt since I had already left cash and she did not know I had done so. Nevertheless, she had the nerve to say “You need to leave tip”. I didn’t bother to discuss with her, given the poor service, she should be thankful I left any tip.

Found the place to have very oily food, despite our request to use less oil. Also, found shrimp and chicken in the fried rice after requesting a vegan version (which they did replace immediately)

Food was bland and super expensive. We ordered pad thai and fried rice, both were super oily and bland. The waitress was impatient and did not care to explain things clearly. Don’t let the ambience fool you, avoid this place.
