Very authentic and good Chinese noodles! I met the owner a couple of years ago in one store. He’s originally from Shanxi province, a Northern Chinese region famous for its noodles dishes. He went to college in my hometown Xiamen and then moved further South to Guangxi where Chinese Pho (fen) is the regional specialty. Therefore, it’s up to you to which dishes to get. It’s good anyway. Appetizers are a great add-on. If you enjoy spicy food, this eatery is the very right place. I go with mild tho:)
The food was very good. It tasted fresh and flavorful. The portions are very generous. The wait time was around 6 minutes. This is the perfect noodle place if you are looking for some where cheap and yummy!
Ordered the rice noodle lunch special. Tasty and chewy. Big enough portion to serve me two meals. Lunch specials come with cucumbers and lemonade.
Luosifen are super tasty with great flavor—not too spicy, and no tipping required. Highly recommended
The Beef Noodle Soup was delicious. As others said, the proportion of beef to noodle was generous, and the flavor was robust. Although the meat alone was somewhat salty, it paired perfectly with the wide noodles. The broth was also yummy, not too light or salty. The Dry Noodles were also pretty good. However, the Medium spice level was still quite spicy! The Cold Cucumber was so-so, more bland than expected. Refreshing after hot and spicy noodles, though. Besides that, the service was good, and the restauraunt itself was pretty clean. Overall, the flavors were very authentic! Would come back here again for the Beef Noodle Soup, or to try the Guilin Noodle Soup.
The noodles are good, but why are the fried chicken wings 11/10? S-tier. Best chicken we've had in a long time. Super juicy with a light crisp Update 12/13/24: chicken was different and not as good today, so seems like a hit or miss
We enjoyed Qin West Noodle restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The serving are huge. We will definitely return to try something else from their menu.
One of my favorite places for solo dining. Quick service with great food. I got the mild spicy Liuzhou Soup.
The food is very tasty and authentic. Its a no thrills restaurant where its simple and fast. I ordered the wanton soup and Liang Pi noodles. Highly recommended if your in the mood for noodles.
It was a larger portion, the bowl is the size of an adult hand spread out (at least my hand)! That makes me happy! Hahaha I ordered Zhajiang Noodles. It was a little salty for me but they were SO kind and gave me a little bit more noodle to help even it out! It's a good price at $13.35! I recommend to mix only 60% of the sauce first, test taste, and mix more if not salty enough. ❤️ Flavor is very good, got a small spice too
I had an amazing experience at Qin West Noodle! The noodles were delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of authentic flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. They took the time to explain the menu and even recommended some great options. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great noodles and exceptional service.
This place is awesome my friend and I drive here all the time. The beef noodle soup is delicious and very clean. I’ve eaten here more than 5 times in the last 3 months. I highly recommend!
Qin West Noodle Restaurant in the Arcadia Westfield Shopping Center features an excellent freshly prepared menu of delicious noodle dishes, fast friendly service and large portions. Family friendly and near lots of stores and places to see. A great noodle cuisine experience!
Convenient spot within the mall. The Pork Mo was particularly authentic (they don't need to mix in cilantro like some other places!) and juicy. The Hot Dry Noodle had phenomenal taste and balanced texture. Highly recommended!

a small no frills noodle shop up in the the promenade area. the beef noodle soup is good value for the portion and the amount of beef they give you. however in the menu the pic doesn't look like it's spicy and there's no spiciness option so you would think it's mild right? but look at the pic I uploaded. it's not spicy to me but it could be a challenge for some people. also it's a bit greasy.
Had the Zha Jiang Mian; was pretty delicious. Loved the fresh sprouts and cucumbers. Noodles have a great texture. The sauce was a little too salty in my opinion and definitely could use more "black soy bean flavor" that's classic in this dish. This small restaurant has good service, located in Westfield Santa Anita. They use disposable plateware which I actually like because of cleanliness in general. Good place. Will return
What they offered was rare, and the earlier locations they were at were much more novel at the time. However, over the years, much of what was on their menu is no longer exclusive to just them, and it's kinda' just par for the game. Still not bad. My only issue with this location, is they try to automate everything, so you either have to use Google Pay or go through Square to make your payment and get your order, which is concerning.

Very casual Chinese noodle restaurant in a chill and relaxed environment. The food is pretty good and decent value. This place does not even allow you to tip and it is evident why. The service is absolutely bare minimum, the staff seem like they do not even want to be there and don’t even try to be welcoming. The seating is limited and dirty.
Came here to try after my friend recommended it. I ordered the Dry Mix Noodles (14.95) with no spicy since it was a hot day. They charge a 2.3% service fee for credit cards so I paid cash. The sign about this fee is a bit small so be warned about it. The employee who took my order was pretty friendly and spoke English and Mandarin. The noodles took around 10 minutes to be ready. I sat at their outside tables while I waited and the vibes were nice. The noodles were not bad but a bit bland. The sauce was more like a bean base sauce and that wasn't super good. It also came with a boiled egg and meat but the meat wasn't that good. The only good thing is the portion is on the bigger side, although I have seen this portion at a cheaper price elsewhere. Overall, this seems like a decent noodle place but I probably ordered the wrong thing. Would not recommene the Mix Dry Noodles. Will try something else next time.

Usually good but went there a few months ago and my orders sauce was lukewarm. I have a suspicion that they gave me someone else's order who called in before I did. The noodles were not moist like they were boiled just moments befote even though I called my order in pretty recently. And I've ordered this dish over the phone here in the past and had no qualms. I would've called to ask for an exchange or something but I already dug in with my kid and it would take too much time to return. Disappointed. And curious why the meat sauce was not heated up to temp. It was missing the few typical natural larger chunks meat too that their zhajiang usually has, so I wonder if it was leftover or skimmed from the top(?!)

I got the beef soup and not spicy. The broth was very salty. The amount of meat they put that was just trash because the quality was awful. I spit out every piece from it being so unchewable. I gave up and tossed it out and said thank you! The people were nice. At the end of the night it seemed super dirty including windows of splatter food. Ugh. Not going back here. Sorry
Laoyoufen. $18-19 is kinda expensive, and it tastes very salty, especially the pork 🆘

Disappointing the sour hot sour noodles or cold. The Chinese Mo was so salty. We couldn’t even eat it. The spring rolls I think were microwaved and tasteless.
Their noodle will make u sad after u eaten it no flavor ordered mince meat noodle there literally no meats is just all noodle with no flavor, the pork pancake is dry as beef jerky this place will take ur money n make u miserable. N plus me n my GF got sick afterwards I start vomiting straight up food poisoning!!!
The worst service I’ve ever experienced… when I was asking for extra bowl and napkins, the old lady in the front desk was extremely rude. She was rolling her eyes really bad and almost threw the napkins to me… will never come back again.
Regret coming here instead of Noodle St. I was craving cold noodle ( 凉皮) which both places offer. But noodles here is SOGGY, all mushed together, taste like it’s been sitting out the entire day I’m so scared I will get food poisoning. Aside from not being fresh, the flavor is not as good as noodle st either. Also it’s a few bucks more expensive. Noodle st is superior in all aspects.
Drove all the way from the Valley for some zhajiang noodles...they were out. Ok, fine. Tried to get the golden noodles...also sold out. Bro, what the hell? Asked him what he recommends, and man… big mistake. Dry noodles were dry in all the wrong ways. Got beef tendon and some other stuff too...none of it hit. Honestly, I should’ve just walked out the moment they didn’t have what I came for. Ended up gking to Din Tai Fung down the hall...blessing in disguise.
