Best Asian food in Humboldt County. Have tried many things on the menu and have never come across anything that wasn't delicious. Love their coconut shrimp, pineapple fried rice and the special chicken, or shrimp, chow mein. Dining in is always pleasant but they do tend to stay very busy and seating is limited. Highly recommend.

This Thai restaurant is awesome! Imagine the Thai restaurant that we have in every neighborhood in America - it's like that, but better in every regard. The only times I've had better Thai food is at fancy places in big cities where you end up spending $75+ dollars per person. There is a lot of attention to detail. The interior design is warm and inviting with neat placemats and tapestries on the walls. Much of the food (especially the appetizers) is presented with recommendations on how to assemble the bite that goes in your mouth. Flavors and textures were all spot on. I can highly recommend the Pattaya Rolls, the coconut shrimp, and the Pa Naeng Curry. If you are in Arcata, don't miss this gem!

So delicious, staff is always great. I love everything I have tried here. They are very good at making my food properly white people spicy, while my heat loving companions can request insane levels of hot and spicy! Their mango sticky rice is the bomb, decor is elegant and subdued. This is a great place to make a good impression but also mellow enough for casual dining.

I got the vampire pork. It was very tasty. Tried some other things friends ordered and it was all delicious. We had a reservation and got seated quickly but it got busy after so be sure to call ahead or get there early. Definitely would come again

Delicious. Dined in and had 2 entrees, a Thai iced tea, and a dessert. Everything was excellent. I avoided this place for a while because I read reviews that said the portions were small and it was pricey. The prices are kind of standard these days and the portions didn’t seem small to me. Maybe they increased them, who knows. I will definitely be coming back. The pad see ew was especially good.

Great Thai food. Every time I’ve come here there is a little but if a wait, but I think that’s testament to it being the best Thai in the area. The Pad Kee Mow is really well done and I usually get that and then an entree plate anytime I eat here.

We were staying in Arcata while exploring the Redwoods, and as big fans of Thai food, we were thrilled to find this gem. It was so good, we came back for dinner two nights in a row! The Khao Soi and Drunken Noodles were standouts—packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. I love spicy food, and their heat level just below "Thai spicy" hit the sweet spot: bold, flavorful, and with just the right kick.

Hidden gem!! This place is tucked in a dark little corner in Arcata but don’t let that fool you. It packs a PUNCH. Flavors were perfection. Quick and friendly service. We got an array of meals. All delicious!!

The server was able to make things work to get us a table (we didn't have a reservation)! She was friendly and communicative. We ordered the Golden Tofu as an appetizer. It was so good! My husband and I split an order of the Padd Khee Mao (Drunken Noodles) the spice as delicious, but we thought the dish was lacking a little flavor. We were overall impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere! Highly recommend!!

We ordered a variety of stuff; noodles, soup, curry, appetizers. The reason why I post a picture of all empty plates is because we finished everything we ordered! I love their Thai tea. Food was flavorful. Didn’t have to wait too long for a table of 5. Staff were friendly and approachable.

We went on a Friday night while visiting the area - while the atmosphere was vibrant, they were definitely short staffed and we waited quite a long time for our food. The waiters were incredibly nice and working their hardest so they’re not to blame. The food was pretty good overall - good pad see ew, the yellow curry was fine; both pretty small portion sizes. Perhaps not worth the wait but would go back at a less busy time.

We started our meal with the coconut prawns, and they were nothing short of fantastic. Each succulent prawn was perfectly crisped, complemented by an array of assorted small sides and sauce that added a delightful variety of textures and flavors. The pineapple fried rice, while decent, left something to be desired. My taste buds felt it was a tad lacking in depth, with the pineapple needing a more prominent presence to truly elevate the dish. The real standout was the Curry "Gaeng Pa Naeng" a creamy coconut curry—spiced to perfection. For those who enjoy a fiery kick, I recommend ordering it at least double Thai spicy. The curry’s rich, flavorful sauce was a culinary masterpiece that I can't recommend highly enough. The ambiance of the place was pleasantly calm, though it is a small spot, so be sure to call ahead for reservations to ensure a spot

If you are looking for Thai in Humboldt county, this is the place, also one of the few but the food is good and the owners are great people. I definitely recommend getting appetizers with your meal! And the sticky mango rice for dessert. The only complaint is it is a little pricey.

The staff was wonderful but the food really isn’t very good. The meats, we had chicken, pork, and beef, were all tough and tasted… old. It took forever for us to get our appetizers… it was worth the wait though as the coconut prawns were excellent. The other dishes.. not so great. They seemed busy enough with take out orders but I don’t think we’ll be going back.

NO AC! 🥵 and very stuffy. Very poor quality food yet very expensive. Tum ka soup was sour and only had three ingredients floating in it, should have been creamy sweet and savory with sorts of vegetables. All curry were very thin and soupy. Flavor wasn’t that bad though except for the soup that was horrible. We waited a pretty long time for food for just two people, but server was nice. Atmosphere had very odd rock music that was very noisy. Coconut ice cream with sticky rice was very tasty.

Unfortunately the food was bland, off flavor profiles for very typical dishes and the curry was watery. The order took twice as long as they said and kept saying a few more minutes when it took an extra 30 min. The staff was nice.

My pineapple shrimp fried rice had zero flavor. I was biting bland rice with 3 pieces of pineapple and 5 shrimp and random add ins. The chicken in the spring rolls, when you get some in your bite, has hardly any flavor. Needs a thai grandmother's touch and spicy options.

2 of my friends got food here with me. One friend who does not eat seafood ordered the Pad Thai with beef, and my other Indian friend who does not eat beef due to religious reasons order the Pad See Ew. Half way through eating my friend found a shrimp tail in her beef Pad Thai, and when we inquired and sent back her dish we were informed that all of the meats are cooked together in the same boiler. Meaning the chicken from the Pad See Ew also touched the beef. This is completely unacceptable to make us aware of this After we had ordered and started eating. This has the potential to seriously hurt and kill someone, and it’s also an extremely standard restaurant practice to inform due to allergies, religious reasons, and other things that are none of your business.

this is not your typical Thai food, if you’re used to authentic flavorful food this is not the place for you. The food was very bland and the fried rice included flavorless white chicken, cilantro, cucumber, and big chunks of raw tomatoes? The pad see ew had a bland flavor but was not the worst thing. We attempted to go to this restaurant, and the service was so horrific we ended up leaving. Our family walked in and waited at the front, and were willfully ignored for almost 20 minutes. The restaurant was not even busy. Fewer than half of the tables had people seated at them, one of the servers made eye contact with us, but no one ever came over to speak with us. Several other customers ended up leaving as well, due to similar treatment.

We were told 25 minutes so left and came back at 25-30 minutes from the time of ordering in case it was a few minutes late since they were entirely full in house…… the food we received was not only sub par but had to be reheated since it was cold even though we live minutes from the restaurant. The portions were laughable for the price charged and spring rolls were not even put together. They fell apart as soon as you tried to pull them from the box. Absolutely a let down to a night I looked forward to.
