Really good burgers, onion rings and shakes. We were in the area for a college tour and the tour guide at Humboldt State told us that the creator of SpongeBob went to college there. He apparently based some of the show on businesses in the area and Stars was the inspiration for The Krusty Krab!

This is a popular spot. The veggie Ortega burger was delicious, we also tried onion rings and cookie dough milkshake. We had a great lunch on their front porch in the sun.

We had the Bacon Cheeseburger with Guacamole and a side of Chili Cheese Frys. This spot was quick with our order and the food was tasty. You can't go wrong with this little burger place.

A neat little hamburger joint with many options for fillings. The meat patty and vegetarian patty are both just as tasty as the other. The fries are nice too. You can get a basket for an affordable price. The vibe is very classic and family friendly, but still up to date. Staff are also friendly. A great place to grab a meal if you are a student.

Everyone that works there is really friendly in a genuine kinda way. Food was ok, shakes were ok, had 3 shakes, 1 burger, 1 sandwich, 1 chilli bowl, 1 kids basket, 1 cajun fries came out to $84 with tip (one of those "quick question for you on the screen" tip requests).

It's a burger joint, but they're pretty good for the most part. Better than average. That's for darn sure. They got a good location. Easy to find and the staff really is Cool. And the services pretty darn fast really.

Been coming here since 2009 and always has been one of the best tasting burgers you can get in the area and that still stands. But im sorry the prices now are just outrageous. For 1 burger meal to come out to over $17 is just way too much for me to continously go here. But either way the burger itself is still very deliscious.

Ya wanna burger? 🍔 They gots burgers! Prices start at $10 and go up from there, with plenty of add-ons (mushrooms, Ortega chilis, bacon, etc.). Order at the counter, a reasonable wait for your name to be called. Open kitchen. The gas fireplace in the corner was a delightful surprise & made the place really cozy. The burger was juicy with a bit of gristle, the lettuce 🥬 was the good stuff (not iceberg) n appreciated the chopped — as opposed to sliced — onions 🧅 , making the whole thing easier to eat.

It's farm fresh, tasty, and cooked to order. The staff is friendly. There's parking options in the back for about 10-12 cars. They could benefit from a new point of sale system that accepts Google and Apple pay. A meal here will cost you about 15 bucks a person; 10 per person in you share fries and a shake/drink.

The burger was good but a bit pricey for what it was. The server forgot basically everything like our napkins, any utensils, etc. Basically we served ourselves minus them bringing us a burger outside. The bathroom could definitely use a renovation, it was a big shocking walking in. It smelled too and was dirty. The bathroom is locked with a key but they pretty much let anyone in and the guy coming out handing me the key which was really gross because I have no idea if he even washed his hands. Gross! Might come for a takeout burger because it did taste good but definitely not eating there again!

Came in for a double double today. Holy god. With tip, the burger alone was $16. Not really worth it for the quality Stars offers. Also, is smelled oppressively like sewage in there. The smell was unbearable.
