Overall it was a good experience. The Oaxacan style food was delicious. The service was quick and friendly and very attentive to all our needs. The atmosphere felt like I was sitting in my mom's kitchen , very comforting.

The chips are very fresh, the staff welcoming and attentive, the food attractive and delicious. You choose the protein and dish. We are especially loving the super nachos lately. Great al pastor.

A unique restaurant, with fantastic flavor. It is harder to find since they have two entrances with one that seems to indicate a different place. But if you are able to go inside and get some of their food you will understand it is worth the wait. Everything was so well balanced and flavorful. Just immaculate meal for a typical American Mexican combination .

We value this business for being so close to where we live, employee's are most polite & food is delicious, we ordered food to go on October 15 ,2024 & found a hair inside the container & it's not ours. What ever happened to the hair net? Winco employee's were them who work with food...at least a headband, bun, bobby pins, I think about this when somebody has their hair down & preparing or serving my food. We will go back & hope they take our humble advice...Thank You

Best Mexican food in the area. Recommended.

When we moved up here a little over 5 years ago, it was really hard to find good mexican food. We are so grateful to have found Valley Aztec! We eat there at least twice a month and we're always happy! My family especially likes the Camerones de la diabla and the chile rellano.

This place is so delicious. I came here because it was the highest reviewed mexican restaurant in the area, and for good reason. I ordered the mole enchiladas and my partner ordered the fish tacos. They were so filling I couldn't eat the whole thing but I wanted to because it was SO GOOD. The service was also exceptional. We're very happy we popped in!

We had the chorizo con papas y nopales and the mole chicken enchiladas. The mole was deliciously flavorful with chocolate undertones (IYKYK). The chorizo wasn’t greasy and the nopales were perfectly tender-crunchy. A surprisingly good place to eat in this little motel neighborhood!

Amazing food, friendly staff, and generous portions! Even after a long day of hiking we couldn’t finish our food and were happy to take some leftovers back with us. Not a fancy place but one worth eating at.

Who would’ve thought this little town on our way to see the redwood forest would have such amazing Mexican food. I’ve had a lot of Mexican food and it’s one of my favorite things but this is probably the best I have ever had. Make time to visit this restaurant.

They have ground beef! And do not put onions in things you don't want onions in! I got the ground beef taco and ground beef enchilada with rice and beans and chips and salsa and it was delicious and amazing. The owner and restaurant have been there for several decades, and it is an excellent place. Very cool looking design on the inside. I will be back here on a regular basis.

Just a tiny little restaurant, but the food was excellent! Very generous portions. The Valley Burrito was so large I couldn't finish it all! Very authentic Mexican food. The service was friendly and speedy! We were very pleased!

I love this place. The food is delicious and the service is sweet. Everything is good. I'm addicted to the chile relleno. I ask for more beans than rice and they happily oblige.

The food is amazing!! This place may be bad for indecisive people because there are so many menu options. They have over 30 combo plate options! The picture is a two taco and one enchilada plate. (Yes there is an enchilada in all that gooey deliciousness!) Not only is the food good but they had great columbian coffee and the staff is very upbeat and welcoming. This may have to be a new favorite to add to the list. ❤️ Can't wait for my next visit.

I was visiting the Redwood National Forest from Colorado and as a Hispanic women who cooks very well, I was very happy with the well seasoned chicken enchiladas, sauce, rice and beans and other dishes my family enjoyed. I would definitely eat here again. Hats off to the fantastic female Chefs in the kitchen, comida rica y sabroso!

Valley azteca restaurant​ instantly makes you feel like family. The food is truly a culinary masterpiece! We are traveling thru so the hotel where we’re staying gave us the referral. The store front doesn’t seem like it would be good, but once inside, the Staff are all very welcoming & accommodating. Food is good & large portions. We were too hungry & forgot to take pictures!

It feels like the inside froze in 2020 and didn't catch up to now if that makes sense? The food is okay and so is the service. I also think I need to go and give it another chance.

I was optimistic given all the 5-star reviews but honestly the food is above average, but definitely not great. I had shredded chicken enchiladas which were pretty ordinary; nothing special. Actually the rice and black beans were above average! I ordered take out but the woman that took my order was very kind. Give it a try but keep your expectations in check.

They use to be wonderful! My entire family got food poisoning with bland food and stale chips .Sick for days . Calling public health as I’m a RN, horrible old meat .

Hands down the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. There were 4 of us and no one finished their food . My shrimp cocktail had a flavor I've never tasted before in a cocktail. The beans were no good, the tortillas felt like they were old reheated tortillas, which is a no no unless you're making tostadas. The seasoning in everything was off. everything was tried but nothing finished. I don't understand the high rating. Place was empty and I understand why.
