Burger basket & grill is a neighborhood jewel! The food is always good, especially breakfast. The owner is super nice and friendly. Same service all the time!

Gyros are unique and delicious. French fries were light and crisp, definitely cooked in fresh oil. The building is old Arlington & it's a unique place with friendly people working there. 100% recommend.

Food quests hot and fresh. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Love Ms. Owens she is a cook but does the register sometimes. There croissant sandwiches are the best I also like the biscuit sandwiches. Breakfast burritos are huge and yummy.

What can I say... Adam has a great place. Good food. Good prices. Great service. They used the Corona-cation Time to give the joint a fresh coat of paint and brighten it up a bit, and managed to survive the pandemic and come out the other side still in business. I find that small (non-franchised) Diners have the best tasting food. This place is no exception! The food is flawless diner food, along with breakfast food any time. They serve a big, juicy burger that is to die for. The chicken fried steak is tasty too, and you can’t go wrong with any selection. Tables are always clean, all the staff is friendly. If you’re having a hot day, dip into some ice cream as well. Fortunately, Burger Basket is near my home, I'd opt for it before any chain restaurant.

Everything is great here, probably the largest fast food menu I've seen. Chicken Fried Steak and eggs with home fries? Yup. Shrimp basket with large butterfly shrimp? That too. Gyros, Philly's, etc. Adam and his staff get to know their customers and provide excellent service.

The absolute best burger restaurant I've ever been to. We spent $10-$20 per person, however they have combos that are under $10. They're good on the wallet and the stomach.

I have been coming here for 18 years, I always order the same thing, #13, a gyro w/no tomatoes, fries, and a sweet tea. The owner is so nice, I always receive good service and receive good food.

This place blew me and my family away. It was a great reminder to "never judge a book by its cover." Such a surprising little spot with great food, adequate service, and decent prices. Don't let the outside façade fool you as it did my son. It's clean and even spacious inside. There's a respectable menu to choose from. The burgers were definitely on the flat side, a là Steak 'n Shake, but they were really tasty. Drinks were good, too. Definitely worth visiting!

For a drive-thru this place is fantastic! We love their breakfast most. The club sandwich is huge!

Staff is super friendly, always asking if I want to top off my drink after waiting for takeout. I'm a classic guy and my go-to is always the double-double w/tots and a root beer and it has never been under cooked or prepared incorrectly, always delicious, always fast. Akin to Burger now but ultimately faster and friendlier.

The food here has incredible crunch and they are so generous with the portions. Some of the BEST fries I’ve ever had deadass and their fried mushrooms are what I’m still thinking about while I write this review. Payday is next week so I gotta wait to get more but trust I’ll return.

Great old fashioned burger joint! Call ahead ordering and drive thru pick up. Everything I've tried is so good, reminds me of the 80's. Prices are very fair. 10/10 recommend if you need a good burger, seasoned fries, great Dr pepper, etc.

Needed to grab a bite to eat, and this seemed like our only option. As soon as we walked in, the owner greeted us warmly. They have everything on the menu. They advertise breakfast. I asked if they served it all day and he told me he would cook me whatever I wanted. Husband has had a Philly cheesesteak annd I settled on a gyro and both were delicious. The menu is random but that's what make this place unique. It took a little while for the food to come out, but that's because it was being made fresh. We stayed for awhile and got a shake and ice cream cone. Blue Bell ice cream hit the spot!!

My family and I love the burgers here! The apple pie is really good also. I have never received bad service here. They are pretty quick to bring your food out, too. One thing I love most about this place is their consistency...I ALWAYS receive everything I order and any substitutions are ALWAYS correct. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the restaurant is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food was great. Everything was freshly prepared and served hot.

One of the best Philly cheesesteaks I’ve ever had! I could make 2 meals out of the cheesesteak. Plenty of meat, not too greasy, the veggies were perfectly cooked, and the cheese was evenly proportioned. The roll was nice and crispy inside and out, not too much bread, just right. It seemed as though it was open faced grilled and then toasted after adding the meat and cheese. We also got the fried pickles and fried mushrooms. Both were delicious and the ranch tasted homemade and was so good. The service was astounding, the guys working there are great! Very professional and kind for a small mom and pop. While they may not be over friendly they are proficient and generous. I’ve been here a few times and it’s always consistent and good.

Oh my gosh, we are from out of town and stopped to eat here, and this place was so good. We had the mushroom burger, Philly, fried cheese, and fries, and everything was delicious. Staff was super warm and welcoming, too. Wish this place was down the street!

Very nice and accommodating owner! They had just closed when I pulled up to the window. He noticed me sitting there. I told him I wanted to order the fried mushrooms. Although they were closed, he let me order anyway. Owners like this remind me that there are still nice people in the business and care about customer service than time! They were super sweet and friendly the food is AMAZING even my husband said it was good and he’s picky 😅 their portions were HUGE and super affordable especially now that prices are up we got a HUGE Philly for $6 something I ordered Philly combo (fries and drink) hamburger combo double patty and a cheese burger for under $30!!!! They also have great ice for my ice chewing folks😅

We've been coming here for about 6 years now and it never disappoints. Owner is always super friendly and you see him working often. The burgers are what you come for, freshly made to order and the buns are toasted on the grill.

The burgers are always cooked fresh AND packed full of flavor. It's a classic take on a burger whether with cheese or without cheese. I normally get the single patty which is MORE than enough for me but I haven't been back since taking on the double patty. Lmao. I won't stay a stranger though. They also provide a variety of little fried snacks to accompany your burger.

Breakfast is delicious. Get the hashbrowns! Just like the fried taters your mother made. Very friendly staff, always eager to help!

This place was exactly what I was hoping for just by seeing it from the outside. I had the double cheeseburger made to my specs and it was awesome. We had the wings (great price) that were very tasty. My wife and son had the Philly cheesesteaks and they were great; thin sliced beef and very flavorful, also huge. My youngest son had the chicken fingers that were not made in house but still very good. Not too much batter. And good ol’ crinkle cut fries. Feels like the type of place that doesn’t miss. Definitely will revisit if we are in the area again.

Got the double bacon cheeseburger with fries, single bacon cheese burger with sweet potato fries and an order of cheese sticks. Everything came out hot and fresh. The prices were very reasonable. I would say if you want to have that old school diner feeling this is the place to be at.

Yum! Was not expecting to find such a great little burger place after visiting fares auto. We had the burgers, popcorn chicken and fried okra. The in-house ranch was really tasty. Topped it off with a scoop of ice-cream. Wish I came to this area more so I can stop in again.

Back again for another bbq sandwich. This one tasted different. Can't put my finger on it but i didn't like it the same. Guess it just depends on the cook for the day. Previous review-> aven't been in almost 3 years. Their French fries have greatly improved since my last visit! Came to try their chopped bbq sandwich. Impressive. low key HIGH key... no shade to Bucees but my taste buds say the brisket sandwich is better here. :) Would def recommend. I like the bbq sauce and it comes with onion and pickles on it. Wow. This place is amazing and very quick service! I was skeptical at first and thought it may be similar to McDonalds or Dairy Queen but no sir!! This was my first time and I could not believe how fresh the ingredients were. We ordered a sausage omelette, fried zucchini, and double bacon cheeseburger. ALL top notch. The fried zucchini was my personal favorite. And best part... it was only $18 and there was so much food we couldn’t finish it. The staff was also very friendly! I highly recommend!

My future husband and I came here because I was craving a hamburger. I love the old-fashioned building structure. It reminds me of east Texas. The customer service is excellent. He got chicken fried steak and scrambled eggs, with a side of fries. I got a hamburger and fries and a side of fried pickles, which were excellent.

Love this place good burgers and gyos, but what's awesome is they have fried pickles and sweet potato fries. I stopped liking French fries long ago and glad there are places that have other sides. The staff are friendly and the owner is an awesome guy who likes to joke with yah a bit at times. One time the accidentally got my order mixed up with someone else's, but I didn't complain the burger was good lol.

First time eating here, and we were pleasantly surprised! The burgers had great flavor and fresh toppings. The double burger was huge! Both fries and tater tots were very hot and crispy. The service was amazing! Extremely friendly staff, plus our order came out fast and accurate. We will definitely be back...it beats the chains by far!! This was surprising. It was Friday so we ordered Fish basket, fish sandwich, burger, chili frito pie and fries and fried pickles. Everything was great. We left fully satisfied. We would revisit this place again and again. Super experience.

Really good double cheese burger and fries! The double cheese burger was huge, so I couldn't finish it, but it was full of flavor. I also had a small banana shake, which is large for a small IMO. It was delicious. My husband had the gyro and loved it. He said the gyro meat was delicious! We will definitely be going back! Update: This visit, I had the breakfast burrito. It was delicious. I also had a side of fried pickles. My husband had the Popcorn chicken basket. He really enjoyed it too.

Does anyone remember Beefers Burger? Well, this was the old location before it became Burger Basket and Grill. Over the years, I've tried practically everything on the menu. However, my go-to items are the burgers, fries, and shakes. The establishment is an older building that is well-maintained. Customer service is great, and the wait time isn't too long when it comes to getting fresh food.

The food is so good. I was a little hesitant at first from where it is located but the guy who took our to go order from the drive thru gave us time to look over the menu since it was our first time and had great customer service. The hamburger was greasy like it should be being made from scratch, and the onion rings were so good you didn't need any dipping sauce. I will definitely go back again.

The food is delicious here! I got a chicken sandwich combo and my mom got a cheeseburger combo. My parents have been coming here for a while now and this was my first time trying it. Don’t regret it at all, the chicken sandwich was delicious. I do wish the fries were a bit more seasoned though, they seemed a bit plain. Other than that it was great! The staff is amazing here.

I saw all the 4 and 5 star reviews and decided to try this place today. I had a cheeseburger and fries, co worker had chicken strips and onion rings. I ordered my fries extra crispy. The burger meat was warm but the bun was stone cold. I an not sure how you grill a bun and it is so cold. The fries looked crispy but were soggy and cold in the middle. The onion rings were much better. The ranch was not good for the chicken. Co worker did not like rings or chicken but she likes good ranch on her chicken. We were both very disappointed for sure not a 4.5 rating. My suggestion is work on getting the food cooked and warm. Change the grease in the fryer.

A dining experience is more than just the food. The staff was very friendly and the food, which was a pretty good value for the money, was good. However, it's an older establishment that could use an update and a good cleaning. I don't know how to explain the smell of the restaurant, other than old. It almost ruined the whole experience for me. Because the food is good, the next time we go here, I will definitely try the drive-thru.

They were very polite to the inconsiderate customer who brought in an unleashed dog that ran into the kitchen area visibly angering the cooks. The food is simple and unamazing, but fresh and good. I ordered the onion rings based on Adam's word that they were battered and not breaded. For the record, they're breaded, but not horrible. The soda fountain syrup and charged water needs to be adjusted properly (brixed). The ratio was way off. The restaurant was clean. They offer a small selection of Mexican bottled sodas.

The drive thru employee was rude. You also have to pay for i believe the fries and drink separate or buy the drink separate. The food was alright

The place is old and outdated. The menu up on the wall is so old it has turned yellow. My burger was way over cooked. The vegetables seemed fresh.

Burger was very bland and the meat was extremely thin and super dry, as in the tomato slice was thicker than the meat. Customer service left alot to be desired you cant have a drive thru if youre just going to rush people and not even give them more than 1 min to order.I was the only one in the drive thru so can't use we are busy as an excuse. The food used to be so good! Definitely will just go to AL'S in fielder plaza from now on. Same price better food and way better service it's a no Brainer. Avoid if possible

I came from fort worth looking for a new place, the manager/owner served me sour unsweet tea. As most other places do, i asked him to remake it.He did not want to.He offered me a Diet Coke.I lost my appetite and did not.Burger gave it to my dogs , but the other employees were great. He is old enough to know when to throw his old unsweet tea out. I have Chron disease and ulcers my stomach.

My husband and I came to order lunch for ourselves and our son. We asked the person at the drive through box to give us a moment to decide. They rushed us to the window and we didn’t know really what to order. It was so disappointing to experience the lack of hospitality, that my husband didn’t order anything for himself. There wasn’t even a menu at the window to clearly decide on what to order from all of the options. The food is great. But the old man’s hospitality and the old lady’s hospitality was horrendous!! No empathy towards customers trying to decide what they wanted. It was very hurried and rushed like we were inconveniencing them by being there. Total for 2 of their #1’s with medium drinks was around $18. A bit pricey considering we can go to Al’s Hamburgers nearby and receive way better hospitality and better quality food.

Been there always for breakfast burritos, BUT NEVER AGAIN!!!! Either they took it off the previous customers plates or they collect the leftovers and use them on the burritos orders. The overly dried on grease from potatoes. Was suppose to be sausage but there was old pieces of bacon mixed in it.it was liked they scraped the griddle and added that also. Truly feel it came off the leftovers from others plate. VERY NASTY

They messed up my order and I had to wait forever for them to correct it after already waiting a long time for the order wrong order to come out. They never gave a receipt so I couldn’t verify if they charged me for the items they needed to correct. The food is usually good but this time you could tell they used old oil for the fries. My burger buns we soggy by the time I got to eat it. And that’s probably because I had to wait forever. The young guys working are making the owner look bad and he was sitting there either not paying attention or just oblivious to what was going on. I’m pretty sure I paid twice for something they originally forgot. I have been here many times I will not be back.

The owner measures how much you going to order by looking you over. Very sad honestly and the girl that works there is not good with customer service and the bathrooms are poorly cleaned without tissue to use. Homeless ppl hang around the place also.The food is a two out of ten.

Service has gotten poor to me, I just left and my blt was soggy with gigantic tomatoes on it, this was not worth 5.50, as a matter of fact the last few times I’ve gone in the morning, the quality of food was poor, I won’t go back.

The other 5 star reviews seem to be fake. I ordered a chicken burger basket. Outside they say 6.79, inside they say 8.79. Then the bill came out to be 10.72 somehow, but he entered 10.77 in the card reader. It took like 30 minutes. When the food was finally ready, the burger was so dry, the fries were burnt. I will not go there again.
