It’s been years since I’ve been to Clown Burger, and it’s just as great as I remember! The friendly staff, now accepting both cash and cards, makes for a smooth experience. The burgers are juicy and flavorful, exactly what you want in a classic burger. But the fries—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned with a unique flavor I can’t get enough of—are truly the star of the show. Paired with a cold drink, they’re the perfect side. The nostalgic clown decor adds a fun touch, making it a place full of great food and memories. Definitely worth the visit!

Great smash burger! OMG they know how to toast buns! They have the bun, patty and melted cheese down to an art! Great, helpful staff. Good onion rings. Love the kitschy decor. Really loved the prices. Definitely a bargain for some great burgers.

Clown Burger has been around for a while…this is my second time eating here. If you find yourself hungry and in Haltom City, I’d say go for it. It’s definitely a no frills hole in the wall kind of burger restaurant. The building is old so it does have a musty “vintage” smell/feel to it. They do have some cool diner/jukebox (non working) decor that is fun to look at. If you like creepy clowns, you will appreciate the Chucky & friends sprinkled throughout. The lady at the counter was attentive and super nice. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any cups of water & I didn’t want to spend $1 on Sam’s Choice bottle water, so I had my meal without a drink. They don’t do fountain drinks & no ice at the time so that’s something to keep in mind. The prices were not great and the food was similar to eating at Whataburger in my opinion. I had onion rings and they were good, just nothing spectacular. I try to support local business’ but I probably won’t return anytime soon.

Drove 30 minutes to come here based on a recommendation from my son. The food was pretty good. We both got the lunch special with 3 patties which included fries and a drink. Reasonably priced meal. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here but if I am ever in this neighborhood again I would eat here.

I used to live a few blocks away from this place and would walk here as a kid. It has recently changed owners. That is why I am adding a review now. The food is fantastic! I got a triple cheeseburger and loaded fries, which next time I am asking for no onions but other than that they were great. The service was fantastic with a lovely counter girl. Only issues I had were 1. the floor needed to be mopped " I was almost stuck to it" 2. No fountain drink only can. 3. Cash only! In this day in age it really is necessary to take electronic payments of some kind. 4. Prices are kinda high compared to most mom and pop burger places. That being said I will definitely be back!

Hamburger was great! Onion Rings were way overpriced. I got what I would consider half an order of some underwhelming onion rings. They looked like they were the frozen type. The fries were good. Interior needs reimaging. The burger was really good though. Rating would have been better but the value for the dollar was not very good due to the Rings.

I have eaten here since I was a kid at the original little building that you could barely walk through. It's just not the same as it used to be, the food has always been greasy, but I couldn't even eat it because it was too greasy and the bread was wet.

Absolute dump. Place is filthy, wait for a paper thin burger is 30 minutes. Could hear the cook complaining about customers. It wasn't even noon and they couldn't get the 3 orders in the restaurant correct. I am only giving 2 stars for the vintage sign, otherwise it deserves negative stars. I unfortunately felt like a clown for wasting my time coming here.

My mom and I decided to try this place out we have heard so many good things about it but what we have heard compared to nothing that we got today. We were not greeted when coming nor when leaving fries looked and tasted burnt we didn’t even half of them. Just over all was not a good or great First experience. Food was not worth the price. Most definitely way over hyped.

Edit: This place has gone so far downhill in a very short time. The food is substandard at best. The buns were stale and the meat is almost non-existent. Glad I got a double! On this day they had no fries, no tots and no onion rings. The cook brought our food out with a small portion of fries and tots he said they had left over. They were burned and tasteless so I would have been ok without them. We were excited to eat here again since our first visit was fantastic. That's the food. Now let's talk about the health risk of going in. It's filthy! No nice way to put it. The floors are a sticky mess. The kitchen doesn't look any better at all. The food is way overpriced for what you get and there's nothing nostalgic or charming about a place the health department should shut down. A little paint and soap and water would do wonders here. I don't think they are going to make it much longer if they don't greatly improve the food quality. The burger patties were premade and rubbery. Just don't. First, the woman at the counter is awesome. Very friendly, very personable and helpful. Second, the burger is pretty damn good but the onion rings lack any flavor at all. I wish they had sweet tea but your only choices are canned sodas or bottled water. Great burgers for a fantastic price. They also don't take cash unless it's exact change. I guess it's due to the neighborhood. Third, this interior is in desperate need of cleaning and updating. And the AC is no good at all. BUT...this place is a great stop for a quick bite at very affordable prices. I will go back and I do recommend.

Paid for a large burger combo and received a small burger combo when I brought this up the girl was like I don’t know and the cook said it’s a larger bun and my friend had a small combo the same size and they acted like move on nothing to see here I asked for the difference in price back and they walked away This is the first time going there under new owner and my comment to him change your signs The food was not that good like under the old owner and my underwear he bought Haltom Chinese restaurant
