Per l’unica cena ad Assisi abbiamo scelto il Ristorante la Taverna dei Consoli , colpiti dalle recensioni positive e foto piatti . Appena arrivati , con prenotazione , ci hanno chiesto dove preferivamo accomodarci se in una delle salette interne o in terrazza con vista su piazza municipio . La scelta è ricaduta in terrazza dove abbiamo iniziato a degustare l’antipasto con tagliere di salumi e formaggi , torta al testo e bruschette di fegatini e tartufo ; tutto buonissimo ma ci si aspettava almeno due formaggi e non una sola qualità ; proseguendo abbiamo scelto tagliatelle con tartufo e pappardelle al ragù rosso di cinghiale , pasta fresca ottima con i suoi condimenti , il cinghiale marinato molto bene dal gusto delicato e leggero . Proseguendo abbiamo scelto il filetto di vitello con riduzione di sagrantino e tartufo , Accompagnando il tutto con ottimo rosso della Cantina Antonelli . Il ristorante è molto consigliato per il buon cibo , disponibilità e accortezza dei proprietari oltre al personale .
La Trattoria dei Consoli rievoca un ambiente elegante e accogliente. Mi è stato consigliato da Fabrizio della "Bottega dei Sapori" e devo dirgli grazie perché io e mia moglie ci siamo trovati molto bene. Qui trovi carne e pesce, delizioso olio di produzione propria da gustare sulle bruschette calde. Voto: il massimo!
Il ristorante malgrado sia in pieno centro con una terrazza fantastica che affaccia direttamente sulla Piazza del comune non è per nulla turistico. La location interna è molto bella e curata, personale gentile (soprattutto il proprietario) ottimi piatti. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di crostini ai fegatini e crudo e fiori di zucca. Di primo: tagliatelle al tartufo e mezze maniche alla norcia. Tutto ottimo! Consigliato....
Cena da ricordare, in ambiente raccolto con musica di atmosfera. La terrazza, che affaccia sulla piazza del Comune di Assisi, a causa della stagione non è ancora accessibile, pertanto abbiamo cenato in una delle sale interne, molto calde, con pareti in pietra. I quadri di Norberto sono un po’ ovunque, ma anche le foto di personaggi famosi che hanno mangiato qui non mancano. Personale cordiale e premuroso. Abbiamo preso come antipasti uovo su letto di patate con pecorino e tartufo e fiori di zucca ripieni, poi, come secondi, tagliata ai carciofi e agnello. Ha poi fatto da re un buon Sagrantino di Montefalco, cantina Antonelli. Caffè per finire e qualche sana chiacchiera con i proprietari. Ottimo locale.
Arrivati in ritardo senza una prenotazione, il proprietario ci ha accolto a braccia aperte. Ci ha suggerito un primo squisito (porzione abbondante), in una magnifica terrazza che si affaccia nella piazza principale di Assisi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, con una carta dei vini regionale e nazionale. Consigliato.
Atmosfera super in una terrazza che sovrasta la piazza del centro storico di Assisi.. Ci siamo tornati dopo un’esperienza già stupefacente di due anni fa. Buon cibo, ottime etichette di vini, servizio top.. p.s. Reinserite là tartare a menu perchè spacca!!☺️
Frequento da anni questo splendido ristorante nel cuore di Assisi. Oltre ad una location unica con una terrazza che affaccia sulla Piazza principale e sale curate, vanta una cucina che unisce tradizione, innovazione e materie prime del territorio. Curata la cantina dei vini, e il servizio è attento e sanno fatti sentire tutta l'accoglienza che ci si aspetta durante un pranzo e una cena fuori. Grazie a tutto lo staff per quanto mi hanno donato in questi anni. CONSIGLIATISSIMO!
Location unica, con una terrazza splendida che affaccia direttamente in Piazza del Comune ad Assisi. Servizio cortese, gentile, mai invadente. Cibo ottimo, legato alla tradizione umbra, ma sempre curato con una rivisitazione personale dello chef! Prezzi assolutamente in linea con il servizio, la qualità del cibo e la location del posto. Davvero consigliato!
Ristorante sulla cresta dell’onda da anni, ha saputo mantenere costantemente elevati gli standard di qualità del cibo, insieme alla cortesia e alla professionalità del personale. È difficile stilare una classifica dei piatti, tutti eccellenti, dove la creatività dello chef Moreno si fonde armoniosamente con la tradizione culinaria, dando vita a risultati di altissimo livello. Un esempio emblematico è la matriciana, dal sapore straordinario.
Siamo stati ieri sera a cena e devo dire che è stata un'esperienza eccellente a 360°, a partire dall'estrema cordialità dei camerieri al consiglio per il vino, agli squisiti piatti assaggiati. Abbiamo preso un antipasto da dividere in quattro, i cappellacci di carne, due piatti di agnello, una tagliata, 4 dolci, l'acqua e il vino. Circa 40 euro a testa. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è giusto perché tutti i piatti che ci hanno portato sono stati eccellenti e all'altezza delle aspettative. Avrei preferito una fettina in più di arrosto (erano due per piatto) perché era talmente buono e tenero che si mangiava che era una meraviglia. L'unico consiglio che mi sentirei di dare ai proprietari è magari quello di cambiare alcune parti dell'arredamento, anche se il nostro tavolo era sulla terrazza con una vista molto bella, affacciati sulla piazza. In ogni caso, un ambiente pulito e curato. Purtroppo noi eravamo solo di passaggio per Assisi, ma sicuramente è un posto dove fermarsi a mangiare e assaggiare questa cucina. Per i futuri clienti consiglierei di prendere l'agnello come secondo, di lasciarvi consigliare per il vino e soprattutto di lasciare spazio per il dolce perché ne vale veramente la pena, in particolare la tartelletta sablé, la piramide bianca con passion fruit e cocco e la mousse di ricotta con pere, cioccolato e noci.
Situato in una posizione ottima di Assisi, in una delle piazze centrali si trova questo stupendo ristorante con una terrazza panoramica molto romantica. Siamo stati accolti subito dal proprietario Moreno, che ci ha fatti sentire a nostro agio ma soprattutto ospiti ben accetti e non solo clienti. Il cibo è ottimo, di qualità, e i consigli del proprietario sono state delle vere chicche , come l’abbinamento vino/pietanze. Tutto squisito; passando da Assisi è veramente una tappa d’obbligo. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. 5 stelle super meritate
Cibo ottimo, location splendida (soprattutto la terrazza che da sulla piazza) e servizio impeccabile. Nota di merito alla pasta alla norcina, le tagliatelle al tartufo e alla tartare di manzo (la più buona mai mangiata e che ci hanno gentilmente preparato anche se non era prevista nel menù). Ci torneremo sicuramente!
Posto in pieno centro ad Assisi, ho pranzato sulla terrazza con vista sulla piazza, il ristorante ha un'atmosfera unica: elegante e luminoso.Il proprietario è un valore aggiunto. Piatti della tradizione dal sapore genuino, un servizio preciso e un conto onesto hanno reso l'esperienza davvero perfetta, fortemente consigliato!

simpatia e qualità caratterizzano questo bel locale nel centro di Assisi. Piatti della tradizione ben serviti e ben consigliati, acccmpagnati da un'ottima lista di vini. Che meraviglia la Taverna dei Consoli con terrazza panoramica che si trova nel pieno centro di Assisi. I titolari, Maria Rosa Tiradossi e Moreno Santocchi, sono persone davvero squisite. Io e mio marito siamo stati coccolati fin da quando abbiamo superato il primo gradino. Ottime le bruschette con pane caldo e olio nuovo. L'antipasto con il cestino di cipolle rosse e crema di parmigiano e pecorino ci è piaciuto molto. Io ho preso le pappardelle con il ragù rosso di cinghiale e mio marito la costata. Tutto molto buono. Il personale è gentile e segue con attenzione l'arrivo delle pietanze. Numerose sono a base di tartufo tagliato a fettine o grattugiato davanti al cliente. Per finire: panna cotta con caramello e pistacchi. Un consiglio: andate, poi passate alla vicina Bottega dei Sapori. Altro incanto per gli occhi e ilmpalato
Venerdì 10/10/2025 dobbiamo festeggiare un compleanno e memore una precedente esperienza decido di proporre questo ristorante. Il ristorante è sobrio ed elegante con le mura in pietra ed i bellissimi quadri dei quali alcuni rappresentanti proprio la città di Assisi. Veniamo accolti con calore subito all'ingresso e malvolentieri decidiamo di non cenare nella meravigliosa terrazza che da sulla piazza (purtroppo era una serata ventosa) una volta seduti ci viene presentato il menù semplice con piatti della tradizione tra cui spicca il filetto con riduzione di sagrantino e tartufo, piatto encomiabile, la Carta dei Vini molto ampia privilegia le aziende di zona ma non dimentica il resto d'Italia e l'estero soprattutto per quanto riguarda le bollicine francesi... Il servizio impeccabile ed anche particolarmente veloce, ci ha piacevolmente stupito... Ottimo il prezzo adeguato a location menù e servizio. Gentile il proprietario che ci ha raccontato un piccolo aneddoto riguardante la sua "Amatriciana". Correte a provarlo...
Location incantevole, posizione privilegiata con terrazza che affaccia sulla piazza del Comune. Pietanze ottime, servite da personale e proprietario che ti fanno sentire a casa. Consigliatissimo l'uovo al tartufo. Posto giusto per un ottimo pranzo nel cuore della città, senza cadere in situazioni pensate troppo per turisti.

Taverna dei Consoli offers the perfect mix of elegance and soul. I came for lunch and was blown away by the ambience — soft jazz, local people celebrating a small wedding, beautiful art on the walls, and views over the town’s stone alleys. The tagliata was one of the best I’ve had in all of Italy — perfectly grilled, juicy, full of flavor. The grilled vegetables were delicious and aromatic, simply melting on the tongue. The wine was excellent, and the service was attentive, discreet, and genuinely kind. If you're in Assisi for lunch, this is not just a meal — it's a real experience. Highly recommended!
No in Rome, no in Napoli, no in other italian city I've meet such full of heart taste, service, ambiente. The restaurant is in family for three generations. This You canon taste, see and feel. Tutto Benne!!!
Great place! Purple onion tart was amazing!! Truffle tagliatelle was good. Artichoke ravioli were delicious! Chocolate lava cake was fantastic. The tiramisu was also good. Fried zucchini blossoms were just ok.
Solo lunch was perfect! Octopus with hummus was outstanding. Tiramisu was to die for and a good glass of red wine to complete this perfect meal. Memorable
We stumbled onto this restaurant for lunch. Had we spent more days in Assisi, we would have gone back. Delicious. We sat on the terrace. I had some of the best lamb chops I’ve ever had. The gnocchi my husband ordered was scrumptious – homemade with a delicious wine sauce. Charming, delicious, friendly, I highly recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely gorgeous place to eat. Sat on the terrace overlooking the fountain. Food was gorgeous along with whole experience would recommend this place to everyone who visits Assisi we had an appetizer, main and a bottle of wine. Staff were friendly made us feel very welcome. Hopefully there will be next time.

If you stay 2 days in Assisi and you can not wait to enjoy the 2nd time this amazing place, then it is clear that this is the best restaurant you have ever been to! The food is just great and the experience excellent!
Dine on the 2nd floor terrace, even if it’s hot outside and only the tourists are willing to brave the sweltering summer heat! Get a cold bottle of Grechetto, and it will be so worth it! The service is friendly and attentive. The food quite good. We were not disappointed.

OMG delicious! So good, so fresh, so worth the visit. And the patio dining is the best. You can hear the people walking through the alley, talking. Stop thinking about where to go and call ahead to make a reservation.
What a fabulous restautant! The owner spent 2 years upgrading a 14th century building and it is stunning inside and has a great deck overlooking the Piazza del Communal. Food and wine menus were excellent and the service was very good. Highly recommended in our book!

Locale elegante e accogliente con un servizio impeccabile. Consiglio i fiori zucca ripieni e fritti,il brasato di vitello ( difficile da digerire ma buonissimo), l' uovo a lenta cottura con tartufi, accompagnato da un Montefalco Rosso Caprai .Ottimi anche i dolci con una crema al lime crumble cocco e fragole e una crescionda spoletina .Conto un po' salato ma ne vale la pena .

The perfect place for truffle lovers, with a lot of variety for those who don’t really like the expensive condiment. The service is amazing, with very kind waiters that will help you gladly with any question you might have. Very ordinary, staff disinterested just going through the motions, menu not expansive and then what we ordered was not available , the pasta was undercooked , the lasagna overcooked & dry.
I hate to disagree with most here and perhaps it was an "off" night, however our experience was mediocre at best. We were sat right away. Thats a plus. We looked at the wine menu and it was much higher priced than all the other places to eat. All the way up to 555 euro. The cheapest was 23 euro. Not bad and the wine was good. The service was awful. The waiter didnt smile the entire time. In fact he barely said a word. I get Italian may be y9ur native language but at least smile and make people feel they're wanted there. We ordered a cheese plate as an appetizer, then our main courses. 10 minutes later the main courses came out...no cheese plate. Ok misunderstanding. We said no cheese plate. Its ok. We'll just have our main dishes. We repeatedly said no. Out came the cheese plate 5 minutes later. Ok another language barrier perhaps. However what cant be excused was the food quality. My wife ordered gluten free pasta with red sauce. It was awful! Im not a gluten free person but we've had much better GF pasta here in Assisi. The sauce was overly salty and just inedible. The cheese was good so we actually are glad that came out after all so she could eat. I had the sliced veal. It wasn't bad. Again, maybe it was simply an off night and language barrier, but I cant suggest this place for great food. Ambiance, absolutely. Too cold for the balcony but I imagine it would be breathtaking. Also on a side note, there's only so many times I can hear Elton Jihns rocket man techno version on loop. I like Elton John as much as the next but I would have much preferred some traditional Italian music. Please give it a shot yourselves. You may have a much better experience. I can only tell you what we encountered. That said if you read this and are GF, there are much better options to be had.
We ordered the truffle pasta, onion tart, and veal in red wine sauce. Unfortunately, each dish fell way short of expectations. Would not recommend
