Great eats at reasonable prices!!!! We can't say enough about inside market. Fresh meats, vegetables, variety of sliced breads (wheat, rye, buttermilk, raisin-nut, etc), of course many dairy products (butter is excellent, especially for baking),as well as dry goods and frozen foods. It's unbelievable how they can have so much in small area of the restaurant! I almost forgot the most important, ICE CREAM!!!! Yummy to the tummy!❤️

Stopped in for some ice cream and man were we impressed. This store has to be the cleanest Braums I've ever been to. No kidding. The folks there were very nice and friendly but the thing that struck me the most was how clean it was inside, even the restrooms. I'll be back when in Athens I assure you.

What a great experience! The counter service we received from Francis was friendly and speedy, Jackson was very friendly and attentive to everyone in the dinning room area. The food was fresh and tasty. Thank you for the perfect afternoon spot.

We've been eating here a couple times a week. Today 9-5-24 our order was fouled up. We had to make 2 complaints & then there was a third mess up .. my chicken strip dinner wasn't fresh the fries were cold & stale & my strips were dry. I just delt with it at that point. I think that when we pay almost $30 for our food that it should be perfect every time .

Love the burgers in the bag deluxe. Junior cheeseburgers with all the vegetables, five included for $7.97. what a steal! And did I mention they were delicious!

#1. The floors, even in the women's bathroom was big time sticky. The cashier took the order, we had him repeat since we have now gotten the the wrong hamburger. I asked my husband not to throw a tantrum & just take off the things he didn't want; which, included a second meat patty.

Best ice cream around. Prices are based on 1985 don't tell though. 4 ppl can go have double scoop waffle cones for under $10... We go by Braums regularly, still gets me when I see the prices... Very good food. Groceries and atmosphere

If I could give it 20 stars I would. For the last 5 years my family has taken a trip to Dallas and we stop here every time best home made burger you'll ever eat. And best ice cream around, on top of that your food is served fresh and quick with great service

I love their milkshakes the most. They use real ice cream instead of soft serve, of course. There's something about a good old fashioned milkshake though. The burgers are pretty good, too. They are better than most fast food burgers. Expect the burgers to be smaller because of the quality, however. Higher quality at a fair price is always going to be a smaller portion size, but it's definitely worth it. I've always loved their huge selection of ice cream and the small market. All in all, very great quality, service is great too.

I love their chicken boxes so much it comes with, 4 piece chicken stripes, oatmeal rasin cookie, frys, fountain drink, and the most amazing sauce, I mean that sauce is amazing! The ice cream there is so thick and creamy 😋. This place is really good for lunch and dinner, I've never tried thr breakfast though. Overall I think this place us top notch 👌! But I really wanna know what's in that sauce and where can I get it outside of the meal and what it's called and what's in it please.

Their ice cream is the "old fashioned' kind; creamy and smooth. It is, without a doubt, the BEST ice cream I have ever had since I was a kid )and that was a LONG time ago 😉). I live in FL now, so I can't get to a Braums, but I will make it a point to go to one if I ever get back to KS/OK areas.

I grew up going to Braum's, and as we were driving through while traveling home, we had to stop! I was not disappointed! The manager and employees were so friendly and kind and the ice cream was so good!

Best ice cream in all of texas is Braums! I got the hot chocolate flavor and my hubby got the mint chocolate. Friendly staff and quick service!

My first experience at Braum's. The service was fast and was shockingly low priced compared to what I'm used to in the Northeast without sacrificing quality or taste. I saw first-hand the care that went into providing a quality experience even from management working alongside their employees. I got a molten lava cake sundae with rocky road & chocolate almond ice cream, topped with hot fudge and an Oreo crumble that was to die for. My boyfriend got a double scoop of cherry limeade sherbet that he told me is his favorite in the world. Highly recommend!

The big country breakfast is not worth $5.40. Every time I go my fries are just dumped in the sack and not in a bag and sometimes under my burger and when I get a bacon biscuit sandwich the bacon is always burned, they really gone downhill. Athens tx Braum's

Great stop for dairy products. They have great prices on A2 milk and yogurt. Have not had an ice cream treat or flavor that I didn't like. The malts are tasty 😁 The lunch menu is good for a fast food meal and the prices are reasonable.

Ice cream specific review…..I dare you to find a better price to quality ratio than Braums - $2.69 for a massive double scoop is wild. Not to mention that it’s possibly the best peanut butter cup flavored ice cream I’ve ever had. Can’t comment much on the food or grocery sections, but the ice cream is always delicious and this location was no different. Great service!

The food most of the time is good. The ice cream is always good. The staff gets u in and out but with no smiles no energy no thank you. It’s like a miserable job to them. Mostly it’s the younger staff that acts this way.

Braum’s is a fun place to get a bite to eat and relax. Very good ice cream. The fries were too salty for my taste, so keep that in mind if you don’t want too much salt.

Service nixed what would have been a 5-star review. This location was probably one if the cleanest Braums we've been to in a while. Walked up to the counter to order and 4 employees were all gathered around the drive thru window. Standing there for several minutes without even knowing we walked in the door. I get it... someone cool or famous must have pulled up to the window. Maybe some famous tiktok-er....Or maybe not. As the cashier finally decided to come help us, something more important must have pinged her phone and she had to take it out if her pocket and check it before attending to the customers. Order placed and our food came out hot and fresh. Hard to beat a double bacon cheeseburger combo meal for only $9.00. Burgers, fries, drinks and that unlimited Braums sauce were all perfect. Our visit ams experience was almost perfect.

Groceries and eats are always very good but the service quality is definitely declining. Delays in customer service are everywhere but the number of employees is obviously adequate. They just don’t care about waiting customers and attitude is in a negative spiral. Sorry to see this in a premium family owned company.

I usually don't have anything bad to say about Braums. However this is my complaint for every Braums in Tyler. Having me pull up to wait doesn't reduce the time it takes to get orders out. Instead youre just abusing the time system and cheating it to make yourselves look good. Not to mention you hinder production by having to send an employee out constantly to hand out food. I've pulled up to get breakfast here and have waited at times longer than 30 minutes for a bag of burritos and been the only customer inside and out.

The ice cream was good but I had to ask the guy serving us ice cream to change his gloves before he served us, he just got done checking someone out then started brushing his hair with his hands and adjusting his hat. Then he got an attitude about changing his gloves before he served us.

Well we go after church on Sundays. We get our traditional ice cream cone. People are ok. Kinda snotty. You get that one friendly employee every once in a while. It’s not so much as rudeness, but none of the employees look like they are happy. They look miserable. This is in Athens Texas. The woman’s bathroom is nasty as all get out. I won’t go in there.

We have stopped here a couple of times. Each time they have made our Sundaes so full that ice cream goes everywhere when opened. We like that they make them big, but they are too messy. Update: We stopped in for a Sundae after lunch 6/20/25. We ordered a double dip Turtle and a Strawberry short cake (double dip). The Turtle Sundae did not have any short cake. The Turtle Sundae did. What ? How do you screw this up. One of them even has the words Short cake in the name. Needless to say . . . It was disappointing.

I went here last night got a banana slipt it was really good but as I waited I saw one worker that was just standing and than idk if this women was the manger but she yelling at the employee right in front of me which that's not good manger if that's the case but good ice and the lady that was serving me slammed my ice cream down but I am not from this part of Texas and never been to this ice place the ice cream good not that one employee.

Last time I was there the chicken was way over cook. And took forever.

Waited 25 minutes for our food tonight. The Shift Manager said they were doing the drive-through first. We have so many burger places to choose from in this town, we'll pick one of the other ones next time.

Stopped in for a cold treat. About eight people in the restaurant and it was dirty. Tables and floor need to be cleaned along with the ice cream case.

I love the taste of their ice cream and food except that my ice cream had the bottom of another cup inside the young man who prepared for me said he had no idea how did that happened..

Went today around 11:00 am because I had to meet someone in Athens. Had a wonderful lady wait on me, and they quickly had my #1 ready. Excellent as always. After that, I thought I'd get a small cone. The young kid went and made my soft serve twist. When he brought it to me, it looked like it had been sitting outside for 20 minutes in 90 degree weather. I said this thing has more water in it than ice cream. Why would you serve this to someone? He said, do you want me to remake it? I said no, I'll throw it away. He changed me for it, and I left. Folks many people are not worth minimum wage; in fact, whatever they're paying this kid is to much. Why would you serve something that looks like diarrhea to a customer? Hire the brainless? Is this what things have come to? Sad.

Had a single dip Vanilla cone, ice cream was good. I give 2 stars because service was mediocre. I guess the drive through was busy. At least 4 employees walked past myself and my friend at the counter and never even acknowledged that we were waiting. What has happened to simple politeness? Anyone of them could have looked at us and said...we will we right with you.

Not sure why the two people in the drive through on 4/6/24 was so rude but geez they must hate where they work! Shakes are great! I work in the public so I always tell them Thank you and have a nice day, they was both a little snappy about a “thank you” and have a nice day. Smh…definitely won’t return to this location.

Took 15 minutes for 2 orders of fries. Before this me and my grandmother were in the drive thru getting a bag of burgers. That took no time compared to the fries. A fight happened while i was waiting and the workers were standing around doing nothing. I asked for two extra braum sauces but only got one. The only reason why I gave this two stars is because the guy that took my order was nice. This is coming from a 15 yr old. Do better.

Only 2 stars because they have good priced ice cream pints 2 for 7$ besides that they are not worth your money I thought last night I would make hamburgers I saw they had 4 patty hamburger packs for 6.99 not a bad price got 2 of them got home opened the pack and they stuck up my whole kitchen very ROTTEN the expiration was 4 days away from when I got them. Also when I opened the buttermilk bread I got it was rotten as well. I went back to the store to get refund, manger was very rude and did not care about the other meat they had there could have the same issue the lady running the grocery section was very worried but the manger would not let her take care of it. Also the lines are ridiculous there and zero help in the lobby. Also the older lady who is 66 and works in the grocery s section needs a raise! Start keeping promises to your employees keep your customers safe from food poisoning.

Food was great, but I had an issue with my item. It was a spicy chicken four cheese sandwich. I was given a four cheese burger. I go up to the counter to tell them it's wrong and instead of the item being only replaced, the burger was slung into the trash and I waited for my replacement. I could understand if it was severely messed up or something was wrong but it just had the wrong meat type. There was no reason to throw away and waste that food. The wasting of the food put me off for the entire night. The fries were also not fully cooked. They were almost ready, as they were soft but you could taste the oil coming out as you ate them.

Food was good but the employees were rude, sighing at me and acting like I was an inconvenience for them. My husband tried walking in to get our son an ice cream cone after eating our food in the car and it was locked at about 10:35, there was an employee smoking right next to the door and she told him the drive through was the only thing opened, we sat in the drive through for a very long time. I won't be back to this location ever.

How does a ice cream place, have an ice cream machine down. And then not accommodate the customer by trying to fix the problem. I asked for a frozen yogurt and they said the machine was down...I asked if they could do a half scoop of vanilla and a half scoop of chocolate to help me get my kids ice cream after spending over 50 to eat there. They would not do it. And also my order was missing 2 fries, thankfully they didn't give issues fixing that. You should always try to accommodate your customers if your equipment isn't working.

After ordering, I was told to pull up and wait for fries by a manager name Krystine. I sat for over 25 mins, and figured she forgot about me. I have a severely autistic 11 yr old, and didn't want to get him out. After I reached 30 mins, I got out and went in to see what was going on. Krystine was taking orders at the register. She watched me walk in, turned and looked away while continuing to take orders. A guy asked me how could he help, and I told him about how I waited over 30 mins. Krystine did not even try to apologize or acknowledge me while I stood there waiting for help before hand. I never once said anything, or even be belligerent about it. I just wanted to feed my kids. The whole story doesn't end there. Same day, after we left a football game 5 hrs later from previous approach, my daughter begged for a Braums banana split. Get to the window, and Krystine hands it. Doesn't say anything, and slams the window really hard. I don't know if it's that she doesn't like my kind or possibly a sense of jealousy, but she was mean to me for no reason. I love Braums, and worked at one while I was in high school. I will be back. I will keep updating corporate about every visit, even this one, with receipts and pictures to time stamp every order. I'm a nice person, and didn't like that I was treated that way. I'm still going, even though one bad apple spoils the bunch. Krystine can't keep me away from my fav fast food(Braums).

I come here almost on a daily basis. The dude who works the window in the mornings is incredibly rude and has the biggest attitude problem. Will never return after the unnecessary attitude my boyfriend received today. Do better and quit bringing your miserable life to work.

Stopped in on Mother’s Day between 7-8. We got into the ice cream line with a couple in front of us. While we waited a group of about 8 people came in and pushed around us to look at flavors. There were 2-3 teenage girls and adults. When it became our turn to order, the teenage worker went to the girls and started talking to them. I said “excuse me, we were next” but was ignored. I got a little louder and someone from the car line came over and said they were very busy but that she would wait on us. She stressed that she had a lot of other customers though. I don’t need to be told that waiting on me is a burden, so we left without being served.

Came inside, got in the correct line, watched employee check out before me, very sweet girl. After she was rung up the staff said i cant check you out. Waited more, 4 people wandered around yet not a single one would check me out or even say hey let me get someone. Seen but ignored. I went and got chicken down the street.

This place was good in the past for breakfast now the hashbrowns are way over cooked to where they just crumble apart the food will be over cooked or undercooked to where it's still cold. Food is mediocre at best, customer service is lacking the service part and today we found a fly in my daughter's cup of ice cream. This place used to be good. Not sure what happened, but it nasty now. *Update-Tried to pick my daughter some food up from here today to give them another chance and they are still terrible 9 months later! I would give 0 stars if that was an option. The guy taking the orders at the drive through (12:30 on Tuesday and only one other car) was so rude and unprofessional! Apparently, he said, "large(one word, no explanation)" and I didn't understand him. When I asked him to repeat it he replied with, "large....large...do you want it large!" He continued to be rude until I couldn't stand it anymore. I drove away and didn't finish ordering. I am appalled with the lack of customer service at this location.

I understand that things can get backed up in a little crazy in these establishments. That does not bother me in the least bit. What bothers me Our employees who make it known, they don’t care about their job, nor do they care anything about respect or customer service. Management is an absolute joke this establishment.

we came to the drive through 20 minutes before closing and asked for a chicken tender meal and asked for an ice cream, and after telling us they were out of every ice cream besides 3 flavors, we settled with a chocolate shake. we understood they were closing in 20 minutes but by the time we got our food we said “thank you” to the guy who gave it to us and he said “no thank y’all for coming in right before closing and getting food” in a sarcastic backhanded rude manner when we were trying to be nice when they already shut everything down considering there’s not many places even open in athens later. i just don’t understand why he has to be so rude when we made it clear we understood because they closed in 20 minutes. i work in the food industry and personally where i work if we would not be allowed to disrespect ANYONE, especially if we weren’t closed. i’m very disappointed with my experience.

Gave me 3 ketchup at the drive thru and refused to give me more stating they are only allowed 3 or 4 per meal. I ordered a burger with medium fries, since I don't have a name it was the older white man working the drive thru on 10/8 at 2pm. Had to go inside to grab extra ketchup that defeated the purpose of going in a drive thru

Stopped in at 10:35am. Drive through said they were out of breakfast and lunch was not ready to serve. Stopped for nothing. I imagine the manager is proud of this great effort of NOT doing what they are expected to do. I went to Burger King. They were ready for people at least.

Cooked food is getting colder, more saltier, and going downhill further by the day. I have eaten here daily for years now and even the management has gotten worse ive had to bring my order back to be remade numerous times due to it not being made correctly as Ive ordered it, also tastes like the food has been sitting in a warmer for hours instead of being made fresh to order each time I visit, the bathrooms are very gross. Most of the employees are very rude with the exception of when I go thru the drive thru there is a lady named Mrs Eddie who is ALWAYS very cheerful, seems to really enjoy and love her job and is an amazing employee, and has the some of the best customer service ive ever had from any resturaunt, that girl needs to be promoted or given a raise! Aside from that though unfortunately I will be going elsewhere for my meals simply because the food is becoming very unsatisfactory and dont feel like im getting my money's worth.

Been coming here for a long time. But I suggest that anyone going here to not come in church clothes because the workers segregate any customers who dress that way. And they make it a point to not do your order at an orderly time and will serve others that came after you. And even if you do get your order, something will come out wrong. Today took them 30 min for my mediocre meal.

Not sure what happened here but listen to the previous recent bad reviews. Took nearly 30 minutes to get our food, people after us ordered and got their food before us. We asked to see a manager and they just ignored us.

I was there earlier this evening and a male waited on me. I bought a meal deal to go. I paid for the meal deal and bought an elderly ladies dinner who was behind me. She got her receipt. After I paid, I asked a female cashier if I could buy the largest drink they had which was a 44 ounce. I bought it so I had two receipts, one for the meal deal with a drink and a large 44 ounce drink. The guy came back to the counter and saw the 44 ounce drink I had. He rudely asked how I got that drink and if I paid for it. I said I paid for it and pointed at the female who sold it to me. I showed him both receipts and it appeared he was thinking I got the 44 ounce without paying for it. Another customer , a paramedic, standing next to me said that was messed up what and how the cashier said it. I told the paramedic the male cashier obviously doesn’t like and trust Veterans and me being white raised an eyebrow as well. I doubt I’ll visit Braums again. Yes I was wearing my Veterans cap.

Handed me my waffle cone ice cream holding it with their BARE hands, no napkin wrapped around it or any gloves on. When I asked if she did that she said " yes, but I just held the bottom" and gave me a "so what?" Very annoyed look. I've worked here before and know how they are not supposed to do that. Who knows what other rules their employees don't follow. This was around 7 15.

I have had Athens Braum's at least once a week for years. In the last 6 or 8 months I have been watching it go downhill fast! I went in tonight to get my dinner before work and as I'm paying at the window they weren't sure they had what I ordered in stock and took forever to find it. Then the lights went out having to wait for that. Get to the second window and got one extra thing I ordered but had to wait for the meals. A few min later, a young female came to the window very rude acting irritated with me..she looked at me like I did something wrong asking what i needed. I told her my two meals, and she rudely said to pull up to the corner..there I waited and waited then finally she comes out with my food, forgetting my braum's sauce...so it aggravated her to go get that.. I then get home and open a salad I would usually never get from there but really wanted a salad tonight, and it ended up with wilted brown lettuce all in it! This is the first bad review I've ever left Braums even after having a few other bad experiences lately!! I'M DONE with the cooked food there..will only shop the market and that's only if Ms. Ethel is checking me out!! DO BETTER BRAUMS!
