We love coming here! Eddie and Rocio are always very friendly, they even remember our usual drinks and meals. Always very attentive. They have wonderful customer service, yummy meals and wonderful vibes. Jovanna the manager is also wonderful, she always assist her worker whenever they need help!

I honestly love it here. I come here with my little family for breakfast and everyone is so kind. Renee is our favorite server but everyone else is so kind as well. The food isn't always perfect. I found a shell of egg in my eggs. But it didn't kill me. I will always return for the kindness and atmosphere.

I'm actually beginning to like Denny's over IHOP. I take my GrandKids to breakfast a lot and they prefer Denny's now. Also I noticed my regular breakfast options are better there. The only thing I miss is warm syrup. Family friendly our waiter was nice

Overall it was a good experience. Food was tasty, staff was very chill and always have a smile on their face. I ordered an philly steak omelet and the berry french toast. Berry french toast in the beginning was great, but I was toooo full to finish it all. What I didn't like is the restaurant itself. It kinda feels old and uninviting.

Not even close & I live a few miles from a denny's but still don't mind making the extra drive to Atwater. Great FAST Service FRESHLY cooked Food Very Clean.

Overall its not too bad. I went in around 5 and the place was COMPLETELY empty. Service was pretty quick scince we were the only ones, but the food was incredibly slow. We had 3 orders and they brought each other out 5 minutes apart. By the time the third person got their plate, the first one was already half done with their food. They also clearly plated the food too early. One of the orders had mashed potatoes and chicken, and while the chicken was hot, the potatoes had already gone cold. Everything tasted pretty good and the waitress was very polite. She frequently checked on us and made sure we had anything we needed. For some reason however, another family came in close to us being finished eating, and instead of sitting then anywhere in the completely empty resturant, they sat them right next to us. So we had to listen to all of them with their kids yelling about everything. Normally people being noisy isn't a problem, but we were in the corner of the resturant with them sitting in the table right next to us, and we could see an entire empty lobby of booths and tables. Overall it was not a bad experience, but its not really a place I would want to go all the time.

I asked for the 55 year old menu asked for the one that comes with 2 eggs 2 strips of bacon, 2 sausages and 2 pancakes. I asked for Crispy bacon, 2 scoops of butter on my pancakes and said I wanted my eggs over medium the lady said that they could not do that but I said Merced does that. She said that there it was different. She then walks away. Comes back with my breakfast, bacon is stretchy like rubbery and I only got one scoop of butter on my pancakes. I then tell the lady this suppose to come with 2 sausages, she proceeds by saying not here every Denny's is different and says that she can change the bacon for the sausage. I respond and say just leave it like that. Atwater Denny's has poor customer service they did not even get me what I asked, further more there was a family a few tables away and had a dog inside Denny's did not even see a service dog vest. What is up with that? Definitely this Denny's needs to learn from the Merced Denny's . Overall poor experience at this Dennys. The employee Ruth has horrible customer service. We sat there with our food for over 25 minutes as our first server was on break or lunch without drinks. When I called her to assist she looked at me and walked back to the kitchen. Definitely do not recommend, your better off going to one of the fast food places near by.

Came here at 10am and it’s almost noon and our food hasn’t come out and no one has checked in. I’m literally sitting here waiting for the food I ordered over an hour ago to arrive. It took the server an hour to come take our order. This place needs to close down because how are they still in operation after YEARS of crap customer service and mediocre food that gets worse each day. Restrooms are definitely not clean enough for the emptiness of the restaurant to top it off. 0/10, this place needs a surprise city inspection. I’m filing a complaint with the BBB because what even is this restaurant. It’s faster and cleaner to eat from the back of someone’s car who’s selling food in a parking lot.

This Denny’s is probably one of the worst on customer service. No greeting when you come in, as someone was at the front counter. Stood in the entry way and just looked at by staff with no acknowledgment for at least 3 mins. Very disappointing. Can’t rate the food because we turned around and left. The savings on food is not worth the lack of service.
