My experience has been great . You can tell they changed up the way they do things because service and the servers were on top of everything! My server (Carmen) was such a sweetheart and was always checking up on us making sure everything was great . Food was delicious and came out on top . Highly recommend the bourbon chicken skillet or crazy spicy! Both are super good ! It’s a great place to sit and enjoy a meal with your family.

Went here for the first time at this location for dinner. Service, food & atmosphere were very good. It was guiet, plenty of parking, well lit parking lot. For dinner, the selection was minimal but well prepared. I had the turkey bird & onion rings. It was a pleasant meal ... no soups were prepared, surprisingly enough, as it was a cool night. I would prefer more menu choices for meals other than breakfast but that might just be me.

Our family went to breakfast last Sunday at the Denny’s Atwater location and had a great breakfast! We arrived at 10am (as did most of Atwater that day, it would appear), but we were seated right away, and we had our order taken and food brought to the table in pretty short order… despite they were obviously slammed with multiple dinners all at once. The food was delicious, and the pancakes are the best anywhere. I say it often: Denny’s made the best decision when they changed their pancake recipe. They are just scrumptious!! P.S. The “Super Slam” is $9.99 and includes 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausage, 2 bacon (or all bacon or all sausage), and hash browns. It’s not on the menu (and some Denny’s don’t offer it), but it’s worth asking for. Such a great deal.

We had breakfast here almost daily the week were in Livingston CA. The service friendly, the prices pretty typical these days...higher than expected but quite a bit of food. Every plate each of us ordered was delicious. There was a light breakfast crowd which made it 👍 nice.

I stopped going to this Denny's years ago due to flies and poor service, but they changed my mind today. Much improved service and atmosphere. Hostess and server were awesome. Food was quick, accurate, and delicious. Much much improved experience. We'll go back.

I haven't eaten at Denny's in a very long, long time. I was pleasantly surprised by my meal. I ordered the Alaskan fish with mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a slice of bread that came with it. The food was pricing, which was definitely very reasonable compared to similar foods from other places. I ordered it online and they gave me a pick-up time of 9:26pm. I arrived early, and the only negative was that there wasn't anyone to greet me for a long period. When they finally acknowledged me, they went back and got my food. Other than that, good job, Dennys!

I'm only not giving them 5 stars because it was really early and they had a mini rush that was leaving but it seemed it was hard for them to get there bearings with the few staff they had. Other than that, it was a good experience. I think they could have helped by having one more person available for the customers.

Today I noticed this location has been remodeled looks great! The service here is really good. Meal presentations are great part of my meal was a bit cold, but nothing to complain about. My family and I come here very often just depends on who is cooking I guess? Great prices, get family meals.

While on a short road trip with my cousins we got hungry and had to choose somewhere to eat. As it turns out, we were able to sit down for lunch and get three burgers with fries and three sodas for less money than a fast food place (eyes on you Carl's Jr). It was Super Bowl Sunday morning. Overall its not too bad. I went in around 5 and the place was COMPLETELY empty. Service was pretty quick scince we were the only ones, but the food was incredibly slow. We had 3 orders and they brought each other out 5 minutes apart. By the time the third person got their plate, the first one was already half done with their food. They also clearly plated the food too early. One of the orders had mashed potatoes and chicken, and while the chicken was hot, the potatoes had already gone cold. Everything tasted pretty good and the waitress was very polite. She frequently checked on us and made sure we had anything we needed. For some reason however, another family came in close to us being finished eating, and instead of sitting then anywhere in the completely empty resturant, they sat them right next to us. So we had to listen to all of them with their kids yelling about everything. Normally people being noisy isn't a problem, but we were in the corner of the resturant with them sitting in the table right next to us, and we could see an entire empty lobby of booths and tables. Overall it was not a bad experience, but its not really a place I would want to go all the time.

No cook in the facility manager doing the cooking and couldn’t get the actual foods correctly made with all the ingredients. Host were nice though but food not portions of the foods were also less than actual portions. Not good at all if no actual staff for a specific job (cooking) then it should be closed until then this is really bad service and thinking about not returning again. Wait times were also insane at least an hour long for it only having 3 tables to serve not pleased at all.

Even on the least busy day with few customers there's no waitress coordination you are waiting for a few min to be seated on top of that they skip tables to take drinks. They won't let you order your food at the same time of the drinks. Ridiculous if I can no stars.

We had brunch at Denny’s on 11-26-21. The service was awful. The waitress did not bring us our complete order. She said she would be back, but she didn’t come back. My husband got up to see what happened. He was told they were behind. When he finally got the ultimate omelette, it was missing the vegetables. When he told the server, she said “Oh, I’m sorry” and never attempted to fix the problem. Super disappointing.

The conversation was negative non compromising and I had to continuously repeat everything. Whomever it was that I provided my info to didn't even write it down so I had to repeat everything when I finally was able to get reconnected to the general mgr. I provided her my full name, and card info and then my phone number. After my phone number she kept asking me to repeat my phone number over and over and over. Then I asked her if she could hear me , she said yes. Then I said, " So you just heard me asking you if you can hear me." Again she said yes. I then once again provided my number and she asked me again to repeat it. I then said I'll call back later when I can speak to someone with common sense who will be able to hear me. She then said , "You won't get your refund unless you go through me to get it. " Seriously??? That's how you talk to and treat a customer??? Since she refused to resolve the issue I will be contacting Corp HQ. All of this for a 35$, meal with a 10$ discount. Denny's in Atwater owes me $25.09. I intend to make sure it's refunded. This whole situation is ridiculous.

The worst visit to Denny's EVER. Not only was the service terrible the food was very unappealing. I ordered the crepe breakfast with strawberries and creme filling and what I received was disgusting and awful looking. Never going back to Denny's again.

I have always liked Dennys, until now. Door dash is not to blame. However, Danny's food is seriously undercooked, over cooked, over buttered. They still haven't figured out how to properly fry hash browns. Idk about everyone else, but hash browns should be crispy..that's the point of browns. These were cooked barely long enough to turn them color. Also, if you no longer offer condiments and forks and napkins, then, they should say so. No butter or syrup for the pancakes. Like, should I really have to ask? This will be our last meal, if you can call it a meal. $60 for 2 meals and now I have to door dash jack in the box because Jack's breakfast is better.

The utensils were dirty, and my son mentioned the water didn’t taste good. When I inspected the glass, I noticed particles floating in it, and it tasted like lemon water. This made me feel that the dishwashing staff wasn’t doing their job. I brought it to the server’s attention, and they replaced the items. Upon leaving, upper management asked about the service. I informed them about the issues with the water and utensils, but their response was somewhat muted. Despite this, I paid my bill and still left a tip.

Came here at 10am and it’s almost noon and our food hasn’t come out and no one has checked in. I’m literally sitting here waiting for the food I ordered over an hour ago to arrive. It took the server an hour to come take our order. This place needs to close down because how are they still in operation after YEARS of crap customer service and mediocre food that gets worse each day. Restrooms are definitely not clean enough for the emptiness of the restaurant to top it off. 0/10, this place needs a surprise city inspection. I’m filing a complaint with the BBB because what even is this restaurant. It’s faster and cleaner to eat from the back of someone’s car who’s selling food in a parking lot.
