came from out of town and my husband and I were craving cheeseburgers. our daughter loved the fries and onion rings, hubby and I LOVED the burgers. we definitely wanna come back the next time we’re in Austin. the staff was very nice, VERY welcoming. we love this location so much. :) best burgers we’ve had in so long.

I usually stop here for breakfast before work. I stopped by this week for some tacos. I called in the order and spoke with Trinicia(?) who was so polite. When I got to the store for pick up she wiped so big and handed me my bag. She said she looked at the Caller ID whenever she took my order and took the time to spell out my name correctly, which I don’t know if any restaurant has ever done for me. I thanked her so much. She made my day and the tacos were delicious! Keep up the awesome service and attention to detail, I’ll always come back!

Ordered a cheeseburger with fries. This is the type of burgers I like. Simple and tasty, what more could you ask for. The fries were also just plain fries fried well. This place has been around for a while, so they must be doing something right. It's definitely a place I will be visiting again when I'm in Austin.

Exceptional food, freshly made onion rings, timely and professional service. Best burger and BLT I've had in Texas yet. And still more clean than 90% of the diners I've been to. Milkshake quality is perfect, not super sweet not overtly thick, beyond belief all around.

Best good ol fashion cheeseburger! Angus Beef on top of it too! Greatly affordable compared to other burger joints. Stopped to eat here in our way to the Chris Brown concert. First time here and won’t be the last. We order their two cheeseburgers, small curly fries and small onion rings. All of it was seasoned to perfection! Fries were not made in house but the onion rings were. You get free drink refills! They have an affordable menu with sizable portions. Hard to find nowadays. Food was fresh, hot, and delicious! Service was friendly and efficient. Restaurant was clean, plenty of seating (booth or chair options), and included waiting benches for to-go orders. Looking forward to coming back to Dans! Can’t believe I never been here before.

Best hamburger I’ve ever had! Free drink refills! Affordable menu with sizable portions! Food was fresh, hot, and delicious! Service was friendly and efficient. Restaurant was clean, plenty of seating (booth or chair options), and included waiting benches for to-go orders. Small menu with just the basics, but quality is out of this world! The staff looked relaxed and happy to be working with each other! Fresh produce, fluffy yet crispy fires, patty cooked to the perfect temperature, and perfect amount of mustard! Parking can be a little difficult during busier hours and the soda machine is too close to the check out.

This is good food. I don't know how they make it taste so delicious but damn I'm impressed. Never get fast food when you got options like this. Heard about the hype and finally decides to try it. My only complaint is that I sat underneath the A/C vent and some water dripped on my arm. Who cares about cosmetic issues when what really counts is off the charts.

Dan’s hamburgers! Been an Austin original for over 50 years. It’s been a while since I’ve eaten here, but it still had the same look and feel and was packed with customers. The onion rings were great and the curly fries were good too. We ordered the cheeseburgers and they were really tasty. My daughter ordered the chicken strip sandwich. She wanted a chicken sandwich, but they didn’t have one although they said they could create one for her. She didn’t like it. They were traditional chicken strips and they were hard and dried out. All three strips. We were really disappointed in this. Overall, this place is good, but on our last visit I can’t say it’s great.

The cashier was nice and the burger was not bad. It’s an old fast food restaurant (including bathroom and tables) and it has its own style. The main concern are the overflowing garbage cans, which giving me a hard time to empty the tray. But I’m willing to come back to try out the other burgers next time. 🍔

I ordered a cheeseburger with no tomato, no pickles and extra mayonnaise last night. I went back on my way back to Houston and got a wet burger that was salty. The bread was wet and the onion rings were floating in grease. The service was great! The burger and onion rings were disgusting. I don’t have a problem paying for what I want but don’t do me like this. Very disappointed and not coming back again. I patronize this establishment because my previous visits have been at Ben White location. The African American cashier was an Amazing cashier and so was the lady that handed me my order. The quality has changed and just want a full refund to my original payment please and thank you. Wet breaded, over board on the mayonnaise and more onions than lettuce. Just because I didn’t want no tomato or pickles, doesn’t mean to overcompensate in other veggies. This clearly is a training opportunity for the kitchen staff.
