I’ve been here twice already, and honestly, this Mediterranean buffet is amazing. Everything is super fresh and really flavorful. Salads, hot dishes, desserts — all top quality. The only “problem” is that I always eat way too much. Every time. It’s just hard to stop. Definitely recommend this place.
This is a great place for a buffet. I enjoy almost all the items. Some favorites are the gyros and the grape leaves. The fish is one of the few underwhelming items, and I also don't suggest adding the optional lamb shank upgrade as it isn't really worth it. Clean, spacious environment with polite staff.
The dinner buffet was really good and tasty. All the dishes had flavor and tasted great. The dishes were replenished very frequently and one always gets fresh and hot food items. Reasonably priced for the variety of dishes, hot and cold drinks and desserts. Will definitely visit again.
This is my second time coming here but I feel like my first visit (years ago) didn't reflect how amazing this buffet is!!! I will say, based on my experience and some of the reviews, going to the buffet at a non-peak time is the BEST experience. My party of 3 got to the buffet almost as soon as they opened. The food was very hot, very fresh & it smelled amazing. Let me start with how miserable I have been lately. I was recently diagnosed with severe Cushing’s Disease and I can hardly do anything but a symptom is paradoxical hunger. This buffet has cured my hunger for today!! I'm also a bit of a picky eater but I had at least a bite of everything they had out! All of their chicken dishes were excellent!! The lentil soup was 100/10, I could eat it every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I honestly could even do a whole "dessert meal" of just their baklava, rice pudding and coffee. 🤭
One of my favorite places to eat in Austin! It is always absolutely delicious, fresh, and healthy. Also at a great value. Love the wide variety of foods offered and the delicious assortment. The food is always steaming and enticing and the staff is so friendly! It’s always a good day when I eat at Dimassi’s!
Authentic Mediterranean food with lots of options. The gyro is so good, so we’re the kafta and kabobs. They have fatoush and tabuli salad, my spelling is probably wrong, but they do such a good job with those. Deserts are awesome, and coffee and drinks were great. Reply friendly staff too. Highly recommend
Dimassi's has been my go to Mediterranean buffet for quite some time. I used to live down the street so I used to come here once a week but it had been some time so I decided to stop with Mrs. We were so hungry. I forgot to take pictures of the outside location so I do apologize but we did start taking pictures of the inside. It was the weekend so lucky for us lamb shake was included with the buffet today at a price of $25 per person. As soon as you walk in you don't have to meet anybody or talk to anybody. You just grab a plate and start serving yourself as you will pay for your food at the end of the meal. I suggest you start on the outside edge where you can get your greens and salads. My wife likes the grape leaves. As you round the corner, you will see the dessert section. You're going to have to skip it and keep hanging left to where you see the drink station. Here you'll find some of the more conventional items like french fries and stuff that some youngins might like. Then you start moving towards the more traditional Mediterranean dishes like the pieces of lamb, chicken, fish and a lot of other great entrees You'll have plenty of rice to choose from with multiple selections and flavors. And last but not least on the end of this portion of the buffet is some soup usually lentil. As you turn around, you're created with the awesome brick oven where make all their bread fresh. You'll get a choice of a couple of selections. The new to me cheese bread was fantastic but I really do like their traditional pita bread. When you get to the drink station there is Pepsi products, but the real stars are the tamarind and the rose water. All drinks are included in the buffet so you might as well enjoy! Once you're done eating, you get a chance to get over to the dessert section that we saw earlier and you're greeted with baklava stacks on stacks. There's also a milk bread and a cookie pretty good. Once you're ready to leave, walk out to the front of the counter and you might have to wait for somebody to appear. It's pretty self-service pretty much the whole way through. There is a station of coffee that you can take shots of Aunt. You can have it while you wait. Once you make your payments you know you can tip the bus staff and the cooking staff at time of payment. The only reason I gave four stars for service is because your reliant on the busters to come by and pre-busing doesn't happen as often as you like Overall always a pleasant experience can get very crowded at night, but there is enough to accommodate at least 100 people easily.
If you are looking for a great Mediterranean buffet, you have to come here. First of all, it was exceptionally clean. Second, there is not too much of each item, so fresh food is constantly being brought out. Third, the good tasted great. The lamb and chicken thighs were fantastic. I recommend using their red sauce on both. Fresh pitas are also being constantly made. Great for groups. Tons of seating.
Fantastic value for money. They have a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes to offer, and ample seating space. The service might be lacking just a tad. The quality of the food was good and the empty dishes were regularly being refilled. Ended the day with their special coffe. All in all, it was a good experience. #halal.
I found this place online under Austin areas best buffets. The place was beautifully decorated and the buffet was artistic and well presented. Everything was fresh and there was many options. I tried a bite of everything! The desserts were delicious and the home made drink were perfect. I was very impressed and will return!
I have reviewed the same restaurant before at a different location but there are a few minor things that were different first off there was no pizza at this location. Not a big deal but it's not there. The bathroom needs some work on it because it was not as clean as the other. Finally, if you go before the dinner price which costs 16.99 before 4 pm and stay over 4 pm and decide to get a lamb shank they will charge you the dinner price which is 19.99 but if you do that the first time the owner will be cool with you. That is what happened to me. Other than that the food is good and it's the same at the other location. I could not eat as much as I used to so I only had two plates.

Friendly service. The lamb shanks and baklava are so delicious. It was hard to stop eating them during the buffet.
The food is always good and fresh, the service is very hands off but still friendly. If you go past 7 its usually very crowded especially on weekends. Also very clean on the inside as well!
Food was delicious. They keep the restaurant clean and were quick to clear your table when you go to get seconds at the buffet.

I recently visited Daimass’s and enjoyed the overall atmosphere and service. The staff were welcoming, and the dining experience had a pleasant vibe. However, the quality of the meat during my visit wasn’t as good as expected. It lacked the tenderness and flavor I was hoping for. I believe improving the meat quality would make the meals much more satisfying. I appreciate the effort the team puts into their service, and I hope this feedback helps enhance the dining experience even further.
I’d been wanting to check this place out for quite some time. There’s another location in Round Rock, but many reviewers said the original spot is much better, so we decided to start with the OG location. Parking is plentiful right in front of the restaurant. We came by on a Saturday around 1 PM, worried it might be packed, but it was actually pretty quiet. You can sit anywhere you like, grab a plate, and pay when you’re done. The space is large and open, with three full rows of food and drinks plus a dedicated station for fruit and desserts. Everything was fresh, not overly salty, and there were plenty of options. My favorites were the hummus with eggplant (so flavorful with great texture), the salad and cucumber salad (fresh and refreshing), the dolma (perfectly done), gyro (tender and tasty), baked cauliflower (so good), fried chicken (juicy, crispy, and not salty), falafel (extra crunchy), and the lentil soup (simple but delicious). And don’t miss their coffee at the checkout—it has a hint of warm spice and is the perfect finish after a meal. Surprisingly, I ended up loving the vegetable dishes even more than the meats. Overall, yes, $26 per person is on the higher side (what doesn’t cost 💲 these days, right?!), but it’s a great spot to try a variety of Mediterranean dishes that are fresh, simply seasoned, and let the ingredients shine—perfect whether you’re new to the cuisine or just want a bit of everything.
I couldn’t believe I’ve never tried Dimassi’s since I moved to Austin! The buffet had a great variety of choices! My favorite bread was the cheese pita. But they’re all good and was baked fresh. Hummus and baba ghanoush was amazing. Main dish fave was the grilled chicken. The gyro was a little bit overcooked. Baklava was my go to for dessert! The fruits were a great choice for the more health conscious clients. They have hot tea/cold unsweetened tea, raspberry tea and soda vending machine. Clean, buffet didn’t much need service but their takeout was popular as well. Great value for money. Quiet and large room for large group. Lots of parking and they have military discount!
The food here doesn’t disappoint. They have a buffet with a variety of Mediterranean dishes to please your pallet. The pita is made fresh and is delicious. Rose water is very earthy while the tamarind water is very flavorful. There are many other dishes offered here than pictured. Be sure to try it out! I’ve been visiting them since 2018.
The food was good, restaurant is clean. It's a buffet style dining. Hummus and pitas was good. The lamb was ok. Love Mediterranean food! We may give it another try.

The food was abundantly available as a hot, cold and dessert buffet with self service. The quality was not good with insufficient flavor. The ambiance was lacking with a dated, deteriorating decor.

We came here for the first time around the evening time. By the time when we got done foods, many things seemed not to be fresh… it was a bit of disappointment since my memory with Dimassi’s in houston was already fresh and delicious! Maybe my visiting time was late? But hope I can have fresh ones next time!

I ordered to go today ( delivery) and found a hair in my food. Next to a salad ( see photo) Staff should pay attention when packaging orders. The food itself is ok. Like 2.5-3 The hummus was a bit watery and just ok. The lamb didn't have much flavor to it. Salad lacks seasoning. Overall, it was edible but not appetizing or good. I'd not order here and I will not order here myself.
The overall taste was good, but the service was poor. There was a hidden menu item — lamb leg. The cashier initially told us it would take 20 minutes, but after we waited for half an hour and asked again, he said it might take another 10–15 minutes. In the end, we had to argue with the cashier before they finally brought out the lamb leg. It was only lukewarm and clearly had been prepared earlier. We really don’t understand why they were so unwilling to serve it.
I recently visited a Mediterranean all-you-can-eat restaurant in Austin, Texas for the second time in two years. I had great memories from my first visit, and I was excited to go back—especially because this time it was a family reunion. Sadly, the experience turned into a major disappointment. While the food was still good—with lots of fresh salads, different types of hummus, falafel, warm bread, and plenty of meat options—the service was careless and frustrating. I went to the cashier and paid for our table of seven using Google Pay. After me, my nephew also went and paid for the same table. Then, to make it worse, my brother went and paid again. That’s three separate charges for the same table, and no one at the cashier noticed—despite the fact that we were seated very close to them. There’s really no excuse for this. If someone tries to leave without paying, staff would catch it immediately—so how could they overlook three separate payments for one bill? When I asked for a refund, the manager made it a big deal and was not helpful at all, even though I showed the Google Pay confirmation. After some effort, we finally managed to get one of the payments refunded. I still like the food and the concept of this place, but this experience was a huge letdown. They need to seriously improve their billing system and customer service. It’s not okay to charge a table three times and make the customer fight to fix it.
