Fleet has fantastic coffee! Ordered a hot Vanilla Latte and throughly enjoyed the drink. One thing to note: I did not get an alternative milk and my latte (smaller in size) was almost $8 , before tip. I don’t know if they have wellness fees attached or anything but that seemed crazy high for the small coffee.
Super cute! If you're in the area visiting the food trucks, this is a great stop I've never seen a Mint Matcha Latte and it is fabulous! Had it with Oat Milk and it's amazing A little on the higher end though, it was about $8.50 for my small Mint Matcha Latte Delicious-Yes Easy Parking Had my coffee in 5 mins Waited less than 5 mins on a 11:30am Sunday
Super cute and nice place to sit and have a coffee or grab one to go! Just a walk up window with a nice covered seating area in shade. Good basics and good coffee. Nice assortment of options.
I’m a matcha drinker but if I ever need coffee this is the only coffee I love!!! (Decaf still) they are always so knowledgeable about the different flavor profiles of the types of espresso, always options too!! They come up with really creative and cool specials and everyone who works there is so friendly and sweet!!!!! And shout out to Matthew!!! The strawberry tomato sparkling matcha was awesome and my mom loved loved loved her latte
We stopped by Fleet this morning before our drive back to Dallas and it was a good choice for coffee and breakfast ! We got an almond vanilla latte and a vanilla cold brew.. and for food we got the chorizo taco and egg taco with the green salsa.. everything was delicious and well made.. the service was incredibly nice and answered all our questions.. definitely stopping by again on our next Austin trip! :)
Really cool coffee. The syrups are made in-house (which is fantastic, and rare among Austin coffee shops!). And I especially like that none of their drinks are that sweet (in a good way.) I got a latte with juniper vanilla syrup. And because they hold back on the syrup, the flavors of the coffee really shine through! And you can tell that the syrup is made with real vanilla beans, so you don't get that artificial vanilla extract flavor. The menu options are impressive overall. They have a cool menu with really creative and thoughtful ideas! You've probably heard of their "fruity pebble cortado", which I'm sure tastes as good as it sounds! The storefront has a really chill vibe, and the staff were super nice. It was an easygoing, relaxing place to go to on my Sunday morning. This coffee shop will be my #1 recommendation for anyone who is tired of super sweet and artificial-tasting specialty coffee drinks—and appreciates unique flavors!
Absolute stunningly great coffee. It was so good we went back to get more the same day. The staff were very welcoming and genuinely happy & fun! Their smoky butterscotch syrup is to die for. Very laid back atmosphere great for casual conversations with friends at the few tables outside. EDIT: After visiting about 10 or so coffee shops around East & Downtown Austin, Fleet came out on top as our #1. We’ve been back multiple times and it never fails to disappoint!
This place is so cute! It’s outdoor only, walk up to order so it’s great for when the weather’s good, like today! The two ladies working, I believe Serena and Sarah, were so friendly and helpful with coffee choices! Excellent customer service. We each got a cappuccino with each espresso option and they were both really good. Nice chill vibes! They’ve got WiFi too, I guess! Lots of people were outside working.
Reviewing Fleet Coffee Co almost feels a bit like writing a review of one of the 7 wonders of the world; the ubiquitousness of the quality and magic in the experience makes you wonder, why? I have never recommended an establishment as fervently as I continue to recommend Fleet. Their competition-ready baristas are the finest and most knowledgeable you’ll find in South Texas. Every drink I’ve ever been served here has been one of the best I’ve had. Their rotation of espresso and slow pour options is always vibrant and hand selected from the top roasters in the nation. Truly a specialty coffee lover’s dream. The selection of seasonal/specialty drinks is original and clever. Finally, the shop itself is a pinnacle of efficiency, design and attention to detail. Fitting their entire bar setup, with enough room for customers to be seated and still take orders, in their amount of square footage is nothing short of masterful. A patio is available for the tiny-shop haters. Their t shirts summarize the essence of the shop: “we make coffee, sometimes people like it.”
Their coffee was good. The staff are friendly. Nothing sets this spot apart from the other coffee spots in Austin but it’s worth going to if you’re in the area in need of come coffee.
This is a really cute place and the people working are sweet. The coffee is not my favorite. I’ve had it twice now and both times I have had it, the flavor is not very distinct. It is whatever the opposite of full bodied is. Which might be good for some but not my preference for coffee.
This is a walk-up little coffee shop that seems to always have a steady line of customers. It's kind of a hole in the wall place and not super-developed, but the staff is attentive and they make a good cup of coffee. The area is close to residential homes, although there are a few businesses around, so parking is going to be extremely hard to find. You'll probably have to park on a side street and walk over. Overall we thought this place was really good, although not amazing.
The coffee: A little bitter and medium bodied. It was way too acidic for my taste. I wouldn't say it was bad, per se, but I didn't really like it much at all. Also, $4 for a cortado is a bit on the expensive side, considering how small of a drink it is, and how easy it is to make. Some points for presentation. The shop: Very tiny inside. There are about three tables and a small bar inside, and it's just cramped overall. They do have a nice outside, with decent seating there that is shaded. I would definitely say this is more of a grab and go place. The service: Great! The baristas we're friendly, and they bring your drink to you, which is awesome since the seating outdoors is much more appealing than inside. Overall: It's just too cramped for me, and I didn't like the coffee enough to actually swing by. The service was good though.
Can't rate the coffee or the food. Staff was very nice... and very lackadaisical. Waited 30 minutes for my americano with 6 people ahead of me. Will never know how good it was
When I stopped in, the barista was having a dog lick their hands. I feel like this is an obvious que you should probably wash your hands, but the barista immediately started making drinks, she asked me for my order, I initially asked her if the dog was licking her hands and they said yes, I then asked the barista politely if they could please wash their hands before I place my order. The barista seemed upset that I asked them to do that. I didn't mention this but I am a muslim and the mouth of a dog is impure in my religion, and it means a lot for people like me if my coffe was not made with that kind of contamination. That aside, this is basic hygiene when working in a restaurant, and should not offend somebody. Thanks for the coffee.
The people are nice and the outdoor seating was nice as well. But the Matcha just tasted like milk and the Pumpkin Latte was bitter. Doesn’t compete with other baristas. Also the drinks are expensive 7 dollars for 12oz.
