Fun time. So much good food!! It’s so fun to cook food together. Kelli at K-pot is amazing!!!! We’ve been coming here for so long and we’ve never been blessed with having kelly as our waitress! Kelli has such a wonderful personality. Such a good human. She even does fun magic tricks! She has the best personality! We like the food at and such a fun experience. I don’t like it when the food comes out frozen, but she made it all better. She helped us cook too. Taught us some really good sauce mixes! And took great care of us!!

If I could give service more than 5 stars I would! I’ve come here a few times and the food is always amazing. This time though I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Achi! She went above and beyond, she made us her favorite sauce to dip our hot pot food in and another that we pour into our broth that made it even more flavorful! She was such a kind and attentive server, definitely the best I’ve had!! She even drew a picture of my boyfriend and I before we left! We had an amazing experience at K-pot Korean Barbecue in Westlake, Austin! Our group consisted of four adults and three small children, and from the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is lively and fun, perfect for families or groups looking to enjoy a memorable meal together. The team was attentive and patient with our little ones, which made the evening stress-free and enjoyable for everyone. We ordered the dinner combo, which turned out to be the perfect choice for our party. There was a wide variety of meats and sides, all fresh and expertly prepared. The highlight for me was definitely the garlic shrimp—so flavorful, I could have eaten an entire plate myself! The kids loved being able to try different dishes, and there was plenty of food to go around. Everything was delicious, and you could really taste the quality in every bite. To top it off, we ordered drinks and I tried the strawberry Hennessy, which was fantastic—refreshing, not too sweet, and a great complement to the meal. Overall, K-pot Korean Barbecue exceeded our expectations in every way. The food, drinks, and service were all top-notch. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to friends and family!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 8/16/2025 We had a great time at KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot. The overall experience was fun and memorable, but I’ll admit—it can feel a little overwhelming at first. If you’ve never been here before, be prepared: food comes out quickly, and there isn’t much explanation from the staff. You’re kind of left to figure it out on your own, which is part of the adventure but also a downside. The soups were flavorful and tasty, and the hot pot bases like Szechuan Spicy, Tom Yum, and Japanese Miso really stood out. Once we got the hang of it, it was a blast trying all the different options. There’s a huge variety of meats—everything from beef bulgogi, prime brisket, sliced pork belly, chicken bulgogi, to seafood like garlic shrimp, mussels, and squid. The noodles (ramen, udon, vermicelli) and vegetables (bok choy, mushrooms, spinach, napa cabbage) gave us tons of ways to mix and match flavors. It’s an all-you-can-eat setup, and if you come with a bigger group (like we did—6 people), they automatically add 18% gratuity. Our bill came to $325 plus gratuity, so it’s definitely on the pricier side, but considering how much food you get, it’s worth it for the experience. We only waited about 20 minutes for a table, which wasn’t bad for a busy evening. If I had one critique, it’s that I wish the staff explained things better for first-timers. It’s a little chaotic until you figure out what’s what, but once you do, it’s smooth sailing. Overall, the food was good, the variety was excellent, and the experience was unique and enjoyable. A great spot to come with friends or family if you want to eat a lot and try something different.

This restaurant is a great place for anyone who has never had Korean bbq or hotpot. I believe it is a great introduction to the culture of Korean bbq or Asian hot pot. The service is up there. I was greeted by the staff and had a waitress named Achi who is a major sweetheart. She gave us the rundown of how things work in KPOT. She took care of us while taking care of other tables around us. I'm not use to being asked how we are doing or if I want extra water. The staff including Achi was very attentive. I'm not Korean but traditionally you're supposed to put any of the cooked marinated meat on the lettuce wrap with sauce (optional) wrap it up and eat it straight. The food was pretty good and quality meat. Sauce bar: Definitely has a lot of traditional Asian sauces. Ssamjang is typically a paste not liquidity. It wasn't something I could use for my bbq meats. It is a Korean condiments, sauce, or paste that's sweet, spicy, and salty, and is often served with grilled Korean food. I can see why it has a really huge high rating. 4.9 stars for 2.6k reviews is impossible to obtain. I'm from NYC and most AYCE are 4.5 stars with 10k + reviews. I hope upper management as well as the GM is proud of their staffs' hospitality. I definitely recommend for first timers + veteran kbbq goers. Food 5/5 Service 10/5 Atmosphere 5/5 pretty chill. Thank you Achi plus a few staffs that I weren't able to get your names. 👏 Respect! Ice cream is pretty solid. Most places give you the cheap stuff lol

Five stars without hesitation. Daniel is genuinely the greatest server of all time: attentive, friendly, fast, and somehow always one step ahead of what we needed. He turned an already great meal into an unforgettable experience with his energy and care. And as if that wasn’t enough, this absolute legend helped save my cat from a fire (yes, really). If there were an award for heroism and top-tier service, Daniel would win it every year. Ask for Daniel, you’ll thank yourself later.

We had the absolute pleasure of being taken care of by Daniel the server. This is our second time after not coming for months due to be being far from the area. We had an excellent Saturday dinner. We were seated immediately and given waters right away. Our waiter Daniel was awesome. He was super fast and took my beer order quick and within minutes brought the pitcher. Food was amazing and I think we ate enough for 4 days. If this is your first definitely recommend. Food quality amazing, service amazing and comfortable seating and every waiter and manager so attentive to make your experience great. 5 stars.

Had such a great experience at KPOT in Sunset Valley! The atmosphere was super fun colorful lights, good music, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy. The food was amazing, especially the variety of meats and sides for the BBQ. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. This is GREAT food! This was our first time trying Korean BBQ or Hot Pot and decided to opt for trying both. Came to KPOT expecting good food… left talking about our server Kelli like she’s a local legend. This place was BUSY, people everywhere, grills going, hot pot chaos — and somehow Kelli was gliding through the restaurant like a professional chaos coordinator. Drinks never empty. Plates appearing and disappearing like magic. Checking on us at the exact moment we needed something like she had psychic powers. She was funny, super friendly, and somehow kept the whole experience running smoothly while the rest of us were just trying not to burn ourselves on the grill. Wow. I came here expecting some good KBBQ but was instead blown away by the AMAZING service we received from Achi and Debbie. We came for my bf’s bday and we couldn’t be happier that we did! Not only was the food delicious, Achi and Debbie were so friendly, so funny, and extremely involved and attentive in our experience! From making us their favorite sauces and bringing em to our table to Achi’s adorable and hilarious drawing which she gifted us at the end of our meal. We cannot wait to come back! Thanks girls!!

Really enjoyed our meal. We got both the bbq and hot pot. Loveddd the healthy herb broth, definitely recommend it. Also enjoyed the garlic shrimp for the bbq- probably the best tasting shrimp I’ve ever had. All their sauces were yummy and the kimchi they make in house is legit. The robot server was funny, we had to chase it down because we didn’t get our food off it fast enough.

This place is amazing for Korean BBQ!Y family and I enjoyed the food. Our experience with the service was very simple. Your waiter/waitress will explain the options of hotpot or BBQ or both. We just chose the BBQ. We added lettuce and steamed white rice to our BBQ which is a perfect choice in my opinion. They don’t bring the sides out to you. That part is self serve. Which I really enjoyed. I don’t like to waste food with sides I don’t want to eat. They have sauces, salt, and pepper. They even have fried yaki man du which was awesome for me because I love that stuff. The spicy pork bulgogi was very tender and was my first experiencing that at a Korean restaurant in the US. The ambiance of the place is pretty amazing and laid out pretty well. Not too smokey with the food and the exhaust is built within the table and not from the ceiling. They even have karaoke for those who enjoy doing that fun stuff.

Kpot is an amazing spot for both AYCE hot pot and KBBQ! The service was excellent, and the staff made our experience really enjoyable. There are plenty of tables for both small and large groups, which makes it perfect for gatherings. Loveeee the vegetarian options! Very good broths! However, the Boba is very inconsistent, have times where it tasted amazing, but other times it has been too sweet and tastes like milk powder. Hit or miss. I would still highly recommend it! Very good appetizers, mushroom choices, ramen choices, sauces etc.

First time at this location with my family. Our waiter Pat was very informative about the food explaining us how the price and options were on the menu. We chose to get the full deal to not be confused about asking for items that were not covered by our price. I do highly RECOMMEND THIS to pay full price and ask for whatever items in the menu. Our first started was great especially for the soups, the soups were rich in flavor and our vegetables were fresh and the meats were also very tasty. Shout out to our person who delivered the food to our table, her name was Britt she was a little shy but she was very knowledgeable about telling us every single ingredient after she was telling me those and the rest of my family was grabbing some condiments at the food station. My family was coming back to the table and Britt was finishing up the explanation of the food items and I said to myself well, now I have to repeat everything to you guys myself, and I never thought she was going to catch that and she started to repeat everything again to my family in a very good way. The five ⭐️s here are going for you Britt for the amazing service. One thing that maybe try to leave 4 stars here was at the end of my dinner went the waiter put some hot water on my soup, that was the worse because the rich and delicious flavor of my haft of cup of soup was washed down. I already learn that lesson, not to let them added any water to my soup.

I can’t stop visiting this place! The KBBQ is good but I usually come here for hotpot. The food is great and the servers are always wonderful and attentive even when it’s busy. The first time you visit, they will give you a small tour and explanation of how to order which I think is a nice touch.

So many options to choose from, from veggies, and seafood to thin sliced beef and pork this place had all the things. large sauce bar with veggie egg rolls, fruit, crab puffs and more. our server liam was on point, enthusiastic through the whole service. He was kind and checked on ur frequently and kept our grill changed out / clean with out having to be asked. You have to come here when you have time as you will be cooking your own dinner. I was a bit confused why all the sauces would burn if the meat had it on it before going on the grill so we opted to grill the meat then lather in the sauce afterwards. I was happy to find out when you do both the hot pot and k bbq as someone who is pescatarian you don't get the additional 5$ up charge. 10/10 definitely would come back.

achi was phenomenal tonight at kpot. from the second we sat down, she was extremely attentive—constantly checking in, on top of refills, and making sure we never had to wait to order more food. her sauce recommendations were spot-on and honestly elevated the whole experience. what really made our night, though, was her. achi’s energy is contagious—she lights up the room and makes you feel genuinely taken care of. and to top it all off, she left us the sweetest little caricature of my boyfriend and me on the receipt, which absolutely melted us. service like hers is rare. she didn’t just serve us dinner—she made our night. kpot is lucky to have her, and we’ll absolutely be back because of achi.

Today was my birthday, which I didn't reveal till the end of our visit. Our server Daniel was such a wonderful person to be helping us through our dining experience. He was so polite, and was always there making sure everything was good and plentiful, without being overbearing. I can't thank him enough for making my birthday special by understanding I couldn't have dairy and he made a great effort to bring me an alternative just so I could have a dessert while they sang Happy Birthday to me. The dessert was some kind of battered mochi and Jello, which was perfect. It was even garnished. Thank you again to Daniel and your establishment for the wonderful food and service. Our visit to K Pot was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down, our server Daniel made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly friendly, funny, and so relatable, striking the perfect balance between attentive and easygoing. His energy and personality really elevated the whole night — truly one of the best servers we’ve ever had! The food speaks for itself — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We decided to be adventurous and tried the frog legs along with our usual meats, and we were pleasantly surprised! The meat was very clean and tender, with barely any gamey flavor — definitely something we’d try again. To top it off, the plum soju was the perfect drink choice — smooth, slightly sweet, and an ideal complement to all the rich, savory flavors of the hot pot and BBQ. Overall, between the top-tier service, amazing food, and welcoming atmosphere, K Pot has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite restaurants. We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be asking for Daniel again!

Well, I finally let the grandkids talk me into trying something “trendy” and we ended up at this place called KPOT in Austin. Now, I’ve never done hot pot or Korean BBQ before, so this was all quite the adventure! First off, the staff was real sweet and patient with me while I figured out how to work the burners and tongs. The young man at the front even called me “ma’am” such nice manners! The food? Oh my stars, there was so much of it. I tried a little bit of everything the marinated beef was my favorite, and the seafood broth had a good kick to it. I didn’t quite know what I was doing with all the sauces, but my granddaughter helped me out. It did get a little loud for my taste (I suppose that’s the modern way), and the tables felt a tad tight when it got busy. But goodness, we had a good time, and I left with a full belly and a happy heart. Would I go again? Maybe not every week but for a special treat with the grandkids? Absolutely.

This was our first time having ayce kbbq in austin and we are from houston. The food wasn't the best quality, but still tasted average, it wasn't anything special. They don't have as many banchan or sauce options as other places, but we were able to make do. The service was 10/10, our waitress Kelli was very helpful and gave us a walkthrough of how their restaurant works.
