Breakfast was delicious, dinner was great. Drink were amazing both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks! Staff were great, friendly, and helpful! Definitely will be returning and I definitely do recommend you try this restaurant out!!
Everything was good says my wife! She was happy so I am happy! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice.
The food was very good! Ordered an atole and it was delicious! It’s hard to find a good Mexican place but this was worth a good review. The prices are also very good! Each plate had great sides!
We stumbled upon this place one morning while looking for another restaurant and decided to give it a try. Wow! We were so impressed that we were back a week later for dinner! This is authentic Mexican food done right! Everything we had for both breakfast and dinner was cooked and seasoned perfectly. On top of that, the service was amazing both times. This is a new go to place for us for sure!
WOW! Looking for a traditional Mexican restaurant with breakfast we found this very cute place while in Austin. Everything was perfect and flavorful! I wish i could do 10 stars, thats how happy my husband and I were. AMAZING!
My wife and I ate here for the first time and had a great experience with the authenticity of the place. The food tasted great and the service was awesome! Will most definitely visit this place again.
This is a really nice family owned business. I was always curious of the place and what kind of food they served. So today with it being cold. We stopped by to see if we could get a good hot soup. We ordered the the Caldo 7 Mares. It hit the spot on this cold day. Will for sure be going back. I cant wait for summer time to sit outside. And FYI. as of right now its BYOB. Go check then out. You wont be disappointed.
I came here with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago for lunch and it was delicious! My boyfriend's fajitas were great, my flautas were yummy, especially with the green salsa. Joselyn talked me into ordering flan for dessert, which is the best flan I've had in a while, especially from a restaurant. Our server, Joselyn seemed to be the only front of house worker, but she managed very well and provided great service despite having a lot to do as there were other tables of course, and she was also seating, bussing, etc.
The food was amazing. I got the mixed Fajita, and it was so delicious. Not only was the food good, but the service as well. The owner came out and we had a nice conversation. I will be definitely coming back here to try out more dishes. My server had some great drink recommendations and seemed knowledgable on different flavors.

Went there today around 330 while riding my bike. The people were super nice 🙂👍 l. Greeted warmly and offered me food and bebarage immediately. It was clean, well kept and affordable. Had a quesadilla for only 7$. Will definitely revisit this place

I'm not Mexican so I don't know if this place is authentic or not. But the food was ok to me, not too good or bad. It also came with a big portion. And I really like Horchata drink. Last time I tried the fried ice cream and it gave me a stomachache. So I don't recommend it.
I've been here twice. The first time both food and service were great, which made us come back. The second time, the food lacked quality and service was slow. I ordered a Torta, the bread tasted stale and the Torta barely had any meat in it. Service was not bad, just ok. The girl who took care of us was clearly inexperienced. I might visit this restaurant again, but I will most likely consider other options first.
Very good to great … It’s up north on Lamar, and a bit out of the way, but totally worth the drive. The food is excellent (especially the seafood soups!) the service friendly , and the ambience long on soccer on the screens. Definitely happy-making!!!
This place was very clean and inviting smelled so good just as I walked in , I was promptly seated and greeted. Chips n salsa were served when I sat down the table sauce could have been a bit more spicy but it was ok. I ordered guacamole salad for appetizer the guacamole was fresh and had good taste . For my plate I ordered menudo and enchiladas michoacanas, the menudo was good size portion nice n hot also came with pig feet for those who like that it’s served without hominy come with sides of onions cilantro and fresh cut peppers can’t forget the lime it’s a bit on the expensive side $14 for menudo but I have no complaints one of the best flavored menudo I’ve had in Austin in a long time , you could tell they clean the menudo well and had no smell to it . The enchiladas were filled with cheese topped with lettuce crema fresca avocado slices and tomatoes, you also pick your side of meat ( chicken, steak , or quail ) this is a good plate for sharing properly cooked tortillas were cooked in a red sauce for taste and it came through. I enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend. This also have many plates to choose from including iguana 🦎 soup and cosome de chivo
This is a great Mexican food restaurant! The frozen margaritas are very good and I loved the unique enchiladas that are small lightly fried tortillas with a little cheese folded in half. Definitely feels fresher than a big greasy mess you sometimes get. The mole is flavorful and the queso was pretty good. I liked that they had quail as a meat option for lots of menu items, I just found it a bit too dry. Pretty good price as well

Went to try the pambazos which were decent. Birria consome was pretty tasteless, had to squeeze a lot of lemon juice for the soup to taste like anything. Their large aguas frescas are undersized and too sweet for the price. Even the coffee was watered down to hot water. Wish they trained their staff a little better. Simple things like having a notebook handy to write down orders or coming close to the customer instead of yelling across the room to repeat and order stand out. To end on a good note, their breakfast tacos and burritos were pretty good with generous portions
Looks can definitely be deceiving. I stomached the 1st taco 🌮 but the 2nd and 3rd one, I could not do it and threw that ish in the trash. I have never tasted so much salt, gristle and bones in birria tacos in my life until I tried this place. This is trash 🗑 😒 even my sister ran into the same problem. My dad didn't like his Bloody Mary and had to ask for olives for it (isn't that a normal garnish/ingredient for a Bloody Mary?) and needed more of something for his Menudo. It was only one waiter there and it must've been only one cook there because it took so long for our food to come out and it was barely any customers there. For it to be a Saturday evening and they do karaoke 🎤 there it's was very slow. Yet this place is under best mexican restaurants in Austin. I beg to differ. My 1st and last visit here. Sorry not sorry
Warning !!! Warning !!! Its a hell no !! This place only looks good ...but take a look at the enchiladas ... they look good but the inside jajajajaja they got me !! Take a look at the amount of cheese init jajajaja ....eat here at your own risk ....i will never be back ....want a a delicious place at the same price try hutto tx RIO GRANDE WAY WAY BETTER !!!
I got the texmex enchiladas and it tasted like a hotdog enchilada which was alright but on my last bite ( I was so hungry I didn’t notice) I noticed the beef is raw as you can see in the picture. My mom got the flautas and they tasted like dawn dish soap! Please don’t eat here for your safety.

Came here on a Saturday night Me and my family Ended up coming here because we’ve never tried it But the establishment looks nothing like how it does in the pictures when we ordered our food. The rice was very cold and the enchiladas were nasty And I’ve never had enchiladas like that. The kids got chicken nuggets and fries, and the chicken nuggets were burnt When we got our drinks, the ice had water in it to serve it with a can. And in my honest opinion, this place is overpriced For the food that is cooked here
NOV25 UPDATE: AVOID - I'm downgrading, removing my favorable photos. They charged me $90 for food. Then they came back and said they were out of quesabirria, pick something else. Okay. Then they came back and said they were out of ground beef for my enchiladas, pick something else. So now nobody is getting what we paid for. I also ordered a margarita while I wait but they never brought it. I'm not going to make a scene, but I ain't coming back here either, and neither should you.

This establishment is a disgrace to Mexican food. I mean seriously, I’ve never seen a Mexican place make food this terrible. Had a very awful experience at this place about a month ago. To start, me and my family were the first customers at the time (7pm), and the cook and waitress were standing around watching YouTube videos. The waitress seated us, and later took about 15 minutes to bring extra chips, despite there being no other customers. The queso came out, and wow I didn’t think you could mess up queso. It tasted rotten and it was cold. At this point, I still had hope for the entrees (qual plate, beef tacos, steak plate, and something else I forgot) when the entrees came out, immediately my sister said there was something wrong with the taco beef. I tried a piece, and indeed, it tasted like there was some harmful organisms inside of it. Not how good beef tastes, but like bloody and rancid. Then I tried a piece of my girlfriend’s steak (she was too scared to touch it) and it also tasted rotten. I tried one bite of the qual, it wasn’t rottten but certainly didn’t look or taste fresh. This is where it got really bad. Since we were concerned for our health (only a few bites were taken of the food) the waitress said “oh ok” basically, and then we wanted to leave. She ended up charging us full price for the food that was not even eaten, and of $1 dollar quality. This is not how you treat customers. She mentioned earlier that a new owner had recently taken over, and wow what an awful job of management. I’m convinced all of the food was just microwaved, and possibly sat at room temperature for days or longer. Awful service, awful food. Do not eat at this place unless you enjoy paying high prices for disgusting, possibly sickening food. **Forgot to mention, after refusing to eat this rancid food, the "cook" came out and thought the complaints were funny. saying "haha first time!" . I'm 99% sure there was no cooking being done that day, just reheating old food.
