Meeting up with my little sister for breakfast and this place is beautiful and cozy inside. Food is good and the prices are great.
I went here with friends for the first time tonight and it was a great experience! Jerry was our server and he was very attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed promptly and was good with recommending their wonderful queso. The food was really good and was good for the value. I got the Monster "B" Burrito and had enough to take home to eat another day. I would for sure recommend this place to anyone!! I'll for sure be back
The food was very delicious! Tried the queso birria tacos and they were really good. It came with Spanish rice and a side of broth. Also tried enchiladas suizas which were just as good. Unlike many places where the chicken seems a bit dry and flavorless -this wasn't the case here. Chicken was seasoned and juicy. The side was charro beans and they tasted great! You definitely need to get the Choco flan-it was scrumptious! Even the chips and salsa before the meal was great! The restaurant is clean and the customer service was on point-thank you Jesse! There's a bar and outside patio. Definitely worth a visit and we'll be back for breakfast next!
I have driven past this restaurant many times. Finally decided to have dinner and it did not disappoint. Food presentation was fantastic and the taste even better. The spicy margs were on point and our waiter Lino was super friendly and accommodating! To be honest this is a hidden gem!
Que Divino offers ton of traditional Mexican and Tex Mex options, and everything I've ever ordered has been top shelf. Really great salsa roja and salsa verde on the table with chips as well! If you like doña salsa, you'll love the green!
After going to another place and finding out there was a 2-hour wait, I scrambled to find another place that would fill my Tex-Mex craving and Que Divino Cocina Mexicana did! It was relaxed, but the service was good and I enjoyed the carne asada plate. The star was unexpected - it was the charro beans! So good!
Nice neighborhood Mexican food with a very large menu. Super easy to pop in and out of from MoPac. The chips and salsa were on point which always makes for a good start to the meal. I got steak tacos which were fabulous.
Had the Asado de Puerco plate and it was exactly as I was hoping. Deep flavors and just the right amount of spice. The pork was Tender and full of flavor! The salsas are both amazing and the charro beans were spot on! Plenty of food, decent prices and fast service. I Don’t come to this area of Austin much but I’ll definitely come back when I do!
I highly recommend this place. The staff is great, friendly and very attentive. Yessy was amazing! I ordered a margarita during happy hour for $6.50 and the La Torta OG. I never had a torta with such great presentation. It was delicious! Came with a side of queso, which I was surprised by. Definitely coming back for brunch and dinner.
We are on a quest for the best Tex Mex in Austin and trust me… it’s harder to find than you think 💀 but this place?? So good. And the service is even better- THANK YOU LINO YOU WERE THE BEST Genuinely the most beautiful fajita spread ever and the portions are the absolute largest. And the drinks are stronggggggg 😂 the chairs are also very comfortable Highly recommend giving them a try.
Great people, and atmosphere! Came here just for some beers, chips, salsa and an app. I was so surprised how amazing this place was, it’s a great little neighborhood spot to get drinks and good food late at night (like 1:30am!) Crazy late for a Mexican restaurant; this place is a gem!
This is the best Mexican food I've found in Austin by far! Lupita was our server and she was beyond amazing. I truly have no words for how delightful the food was. All the steak, chicken and brisket was cooked to perfection. Go and get a taste for yourself!! You won't be disappointed, promise.
It was my first time going to this restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! The food was so good and our waiter Lino was so sweet and nice! Great atmosphere! Beautiful restaurant! If you’re unsure of where to go, pick this restaurant! Again, Lino was a kind and attentive waiter which made the experience that much better! If you decide to eat here, choose the barría tacos!
Delicious outdoor lunch with Mom and Bogart. Our waiter was great! Bonus points for calling me Miss! 😃 He even brought out some dog treats for Bogie. The outdoor patio was nice, covered, had lots of huge oak tree all around, and an outdoor fan. The food was very good too. Will definitely eat here again sometime. 😋
I came here on a cold Friday night with my partner. A shot in the dark landed us here. We were greeted and seated. It was quite and slow. The lighting was immaculate, and the music wasn't too high or low. The menu was straightforward and made it easy to figure out what we were craving. The waitress came and took our order. They had the Quesabirria and I ordered the Carne Asada Plate. Before I could finish saying Asada, the waitress corrected me and said "Guisada" with a snippy, snarky tone. This isn't what I wanted, but I didn't want to argue. The food came relatively quickly. Her Food lacked any real depth of flavor and my food was incredibly over salted. The best part was my Tea. It's a decent place to grab a drink, but the food and the service wasn't something I'd like to experience again.
The atmosphere was notably welcoming and warm. While the service was commendable, the beverage preparation time was somewhat extended. The cuisine was adequate; however, it leaned towards a Tex-Mex style, which detracted from its authenticity as traditional Mexican fare. Furthermore, the pricing of the overall experience was relatively high.
Carne Asada was amazing! Authentic street tacos very close to what you can get in Mexico City. However, the margaritas, while they look pretty, were very underwhelming. I ordered a strawberry margarita, but I didn't taste any strawberry. It tasted more like a weird chemical artificial flavor that kinda had a strawberry aftertaste.
We ordered 4 breakfast tacos (pick-up) at 10:48am. Order was estimated to be ready at 11:04. I went in around 11:05/11:06 and was told it would be 5 more minutes. I understand the wait times are estimates, but I didn’t get my order until 11:22. (Note: there were maybe 2 tables seated when I arrived, it was not busy) It took me 5 minutes to get home and unwrap the food- it was lukewarm at best and lacking in seasoning. The portions were quite generous, but I think the temperature of the food really ruined the experience. I don’t mind waiting longer, but I do expect hot food. The green salsa was delicious and it’s a shame we didn’t get to really enjoy it. The place itself was cute, I really liked the outdoor dining area, but I’m not sure that I will be back.
Absolutely the worst experience we've had in a long time. Ordered 2 mexican martinis that arrived with a full glass of ice and tasted like straight olive juice. Then when we nicely asked to swap 1 of the mexican martinis out, the lady took the drink from us & asked what we would like instead. We ordered a ranch water and received a shot of tequila in a shot glass and a glass of water. Clearly not a ranch water! To top things off, I ordered chicken fajitas and received beef fajitas. At this point, we were just speechless. This is an absolutely horrible place. When we got the bill, they did not comp the martini that was taken from us and instead, showed us the bottom of the menu where there is a small note that says "they do not give refunds on alcoholic beverages because you do not like the taste" I've also never seen this before! Huge red flag. We were there for lunch on a friday and the place was obviously not prepared for even 2 guest
On a day that was supposed to be joyful and seamless, my daughter’s wedding, Que Divino Cocina catering added so much stress and anxiety and affected the quality of our event. I would not recommend them for any large events. While the food may be good at the restaurant, the catering service provided cold food as they were an hour and fifteen minutes late, preventing proper prep time to adequately service 220 guests. The serving of dinner was so late and chaotic, as Que Divino staff was frantic, that I had 3 other vendors step in to help serve. This was embarrassing and it cost me money. The menu we ordered was not followed, with the restaurant providing refried instead of charro beans and only corn tortillas instead of mixed. But that is minor compared to receiving cold food! The food presentation was also crappy as they used cardboard trays like you would at a county fair, to serve sour cream and Guacamole and used small 9in white plates for dinner. When I approached the manager about these issues, I was told there were “unforeseen circumstances” that delayed them. Traffic is not an unforeseen circumstance. While Que Divino is located in north Austin and the wedding was in Kyle, the manager Leo admitted they headed out at 3:15 to arrive by 4 pm in Kyle. So this catering service thought the trip would take 45 minutes on a busy Saturday? As I said, no accountability for adding stress, cost, and more work for this wedding. I tried to work with them to give me a small refund to cover the added costs and they have refused. I don’t like to affect someone’s business but I also want other weddings to avoid poor service, when the catering costs so much and is a major factor in a wedding. I do not recommend this catering company at all.
