Oh my God... Hands down the best taco I've ever had. I had the chicken fajita on a flour tortilla and added some avocado and cheese. Man was that chicken juicy and tasteful. And such a great price for all that chicken. Absolutely loved it. Thank you for a wonderful taco!

Las 3 B's "Bueno, Bonito y Barato" This place is legit, good tacos, good prices, good portions, good customer service. Highly recommended. I get my tacos here every weekend.

Great spot. They hook the tacos up compared to Taco Linda which is in the caddy corner gas station. So on this intersection we have taco spots on 3 of the 4 corners. Which is wild and I feel extremely happy about given that it's a short walk from my house. This taco spot hooks the tacos up and they are not skinny. They're also very tasty. Casa Linda is also tasty but kinda skinny. Las Amazonas specializes in Al Pastor and they have a trompo to cook it on so you kinda have to cede Pastor greatness to Las Amazonas. However, Tacos Ricos is hooking the tacos up fat and tasty and I have yet to have any taco there that I would say is less than delicious. There's another taco spot at The Thicket that people enjoy, but honestly Tacos Ricos spanks them. A great taco spot in an ocean of taco spots. I definitely recommend giving these guys a shot because the food is yummy. I've had many of the taco spots on this side of town and I continue to get more and different things from here to explore it all.

Consistently the best carne asada tacos in South Austin. Other places over cook the beef, are too greasy, or too salty, less fresh etc., Tacos Ricos always gets everything just right. Giving 4 stars to the atmosphere because it's a pretty humble setup outside a gas station with a few tables, but honestly it's a part of the charm

First time going to get tacos at this food truck and ask for recommendations, they told me “every taco is good” I was like okay..let me have a variety..and man were they right! Every taco was on point!! And that red salsa oof..Will definitely be eating here again and recommending to friends and family. Delicioso!

GREAT food, always made fresh. Lines can get a bit long as can wait time occasionally, though I've also been able to order, get my food and be back on the road in under 10mins as well, just depends on the time of day. Again, GREAT food. I really enjoy bacon, egg and cheese breakfast tacos and I've never found better anywhere else. Watch out for the red sauce though, it tastes hot enough to burn a hole in steel. Green is perfect though.

I’ve been coming to this taco truck since 2013. I’ve followed them around the city since they’re were on Oltorf. They have the best tacos . Everything is made to order so always fresh. Now, I will say they have gotten super expensive, so I can only eat here ever now & then. & I have to drive from round rock but it’s worth the drive. So if they go up anymore it’s just going to be a memory that I use to have . -_-

Came to Austin for a 3 week work trip, glad I found them on day 2. The food is amazing, not a bad thing on the menu, and I've tried almost all of it. Great price point and consistent hours which is hard to find out of food trucks. If you need me I'll be at Tacos Ricos!

It’s taken me way too long to review this place!! It’s my go to for the best tacos around!! Why anyone would go to Taco Bell or taco cabana when these local trailers do it 100x better is beyond me! I’ve tried some of everything here and it all is delicious!! Also the service used to be subpar but since this lady has been working there its beyond friendly. Oh and the salsas are SO flavorful.

Los mejores tacos de South Austin!! I love their barbacoa tacos!! They come in two corn tortillas topped with cilantro and onion. Beware that they are quite greasy but that’s how barbacoa should be ate. I wish they offered homemade tortillas but the prices are fair for the amount of meat you get. They also have tripas tacos but be sure to let them know if you like them crispy. I love their green salsa!

Tacos Ricos is amazing! They recently got a new wrap for their food truck, but the food is still incredible. We typically order breakfast tacos here because their salsas are our favorite. Their lunch and dinner meals are great as well!

This place is NOTHING like that place. It's tempting to be skeptical of a bunch of five-star ratings, but this place is the real deal. There doesn't appear to be the slightest hint of exaggeration in the reviews. The tacos are incredible, and it is well worth the brief wait for your order. This, for me, is especially true of the chicken fajitas and carnitas tacos. The only minor less-than-awesome thing I have to report is that you need to spend at least $5 to use a credit card (which is understandable if you consider the credit card processing fee structure). Stop at this place and check them out; you will not be disappointed! BTW, if you search for them online and find photos of their menu, the prices may not be the same as they are now.

Tried this place for the first time tonight and easily this truck has become my #1. The Barbacoa was cooked to PERFECTION and extremely juicy and full of flavor. Tripas were cooked perfectly, it had a crunch when you bit into it, and was still the perfect kind of chewy. The Al pastor was also delicious. I feel like this is a weird thing to mention, but how they have a slightly crunchy tortilla on the outside and a soft one on the inside is truly an art. Best tortilla out of any truck I’ve had so far in Austin. The salsas are also amazing… please don’t change anything that you’re doing. My husband and I are now going to be thinking about when we can have these tacos again. When a place deserves 5 stars, you can’t sleep on writing a review. You won’t regret eating anything from this place.

My 2yo loves Tacos Ricos, wishes he could have his huevos, papas, y queso taco every morning. Migas taco is best I’ve had in Austin, and the Machacado/Huevos is equally amazing. For lunch the barbacoa and al pastor does not disappoint either…their tacos are most definitely ricos!

My favorite taco truck now. Busted tacos just hit and they do not skimp on the steak like many places do. This is my go to any time I’m craving tacos, quesadillas, or a burrito. So far I’ve had boated, pastor, and chicken fajita and all have been great. Definitely get some green sauce to go with it.

I've been wrongfully hesitant about leaving a great review because my selfish self doesn't want them to get too big, leading them to become too expensive. Been here twice and it is excellent! I’ve had burritos both times and they were just perfect. 15 and change might seem a little steep for a burrito but it is easily 2 or 3 meals! And sooo good! It is more of a take out kinda place but if you are in to some delicious food at a taco trailer with picnic tables on the south side you can definitely stay and eat. The gas station next door is great too and has a nice beer and wine selection. Burrito perfection guys I can’t wait to come back!

One of the better breakfast tacos I’ve had. Definitely a top spot. I like how they served whole slices of bacon on their breakfast tacos, had a breakfast sausage option, and the machacado was excellent! Their barbacoa is absolute dynamite!

First time and started with three breakfast tacos. Chorizo, bacon, and sausage, all with egg on flour tortillas. Bacon is so so. The other two are great. Only $1.50 before 11am. Edit. Still good, but prices went up to $2.50 per. Red salsa is really spicy. Smokey, really good. Green is standard jalapeño style, also good.

Huge fan of the food here and the price is very reasonable. Unfortunately I don't come here very often because: 1) Inability to order online. 2) Called in my order during their business hours, goes straight to voicemail 3) On their website it says they have a WhatsApp, I received an invalid number prompt I'm literally trying to come here regularly but the inability to order ahead makes me give this place a 3/5.

I was excited to try these tacos given the high reviews. They’re nothing special. The chorizo, potato, and egg breakfast tacos didn’t have much flavor. Neither did the steak and onion (bistec encebollado). The steak was so overcooked I stopped eating the taco altogether. You can definitely find better tacos.

I ordered a breakfast taco with beef fajita, egg and cheese. Eggs were over cooked and fajita meat was chewy and full of gristle. I went back to get a refund and the lady got an attitude with me and spoke in Spanish but I speak some spanish and tried to tell her the meat was bad. I won’t come back I can’t believe they have such a high rating Went back again to get regular tacos to give them another try. Steak tacos were over cooked tasted rotten and when I told them they got an attitude and threaten to call the cops. Another trash tacos spot in South 1st

I have been a weekly customer for the past year. Ordered tacos today (after looking forward to them all week). When I got home the tacos home, the order was wrong. I called to tell them. Was told to call back in a half hour. Called back again and was dismissed. Drove all the way back when they reopened for dinner and explained again in person. Again, I was dismissed. Was told to come back tomorrow, however they know they are closed tomorrow (they are closed on Sundays). They were unwilling to make the order right. Very disappointing.

If I could give no stars I would. I'm recently on the streets and I know how hard it is charging the phone I was in here for 15 minutes not even and when the owner pulls up he starts yelling at me right away being very disrespectful and I don't understand that people can't be met with compassion and respect right away. Just for respect I was going to buy or purchase a meal from his truck when they opened but the lack of human decency this man has surely carries through his food and I want no part of it. Mind you there's no signs saying not to loiter or be here and to approach someone yelling is disrespectful and inhumane. I'm no dog and I wasn't vandalizing or touching his property just charging to have enough juice to get my phone on. He lost a customer today and just know he isn't a very nice man to deal with. Threatened to call cops on me and when met with same energy he couldn't believe that I would stand up for myself.
