Good food when they are kicking in all gears reasonable prices, always popular, full parking lot. The last time I happen to get a to go order it was the chicken fried steak that was burnt to a crisp. That was the only time I had an issue which they took care of promptly.

I never leave reviews anywhere, but this had to be the exception. We've been here at least 10 times, maybe more, and I have to say the best server they have is Aron. He's super friendly, attentive, and super fast—he's truly excellent. (I don't mean the others are bad, just that Aron is EXCELLENT.)

I’m an Austin local and I’ve always had a good experience coming here but today was exceptionally great! Our server , Christian , has got to be one of greatest servers me and my family have ever come across. His hospitality goes above and beyond. This location is Texas Roadhouse never fails. The steaks are always made to perfection, the green beans always seasoned and cooked well and the baked potato with the fixings. The service is also always amazing with a great atmosphere. Plenty of TV's all around in case your trying to catch a game or good country music playing in the background. Almost makes you want to get up and dance.

This is our favorite hangout as a family. We celebrate birthdays, bring our foreign family and friends when they come to visit. I love the atmosphere, food and just the loud hustle and bustle of this place. I love that we used to get the peanuts although we didn't get it this last visit. Their bread is such a treat as well. Meats are my husband and sons favorite but I am good with some salmon.

Was there to get Veterans Day voucher. This restaurant had a very efficient set up that not only took care of everyone, but they were extremely friendly and appreciative of all the veterans. Wish we had a chance to visit here for a meal, but we had to leave the area. Know we would have had great experience here.

The best experience I’ve had at Texas Roadhouse. My boyfriend and I had just spent 5 hours at a dealership, and we came in so HUNGRY we prepared our order before sitting down. When our server Kelsey came around she was happy to take the entire order at once. She is SO sweet as sugar and very attentive— amazing customer service. Nice large place, very busy but I always join the wait list online. Great food, good service, their A/C wasn't working good so we had to try and hurry to get out because it was hot. Steaks of course have always been pricey, but they are $32bucks, I think that's toooooo much but my husband's favorite place. I love the rattlesnake bites and I'm there for thr bread and butter.

I had an okay service (I am not going to mention his name so I don’t make him feel bad) hopefully it was one of those days thing that he was just tired. But I will talk about the server “Jett”, he was serving the 2 booths next to us. Jett was VERY, VERY, attentive to his customers. Going above and beyond! Continue checking up on them to see if they needed anything, drinks/bread, picking up empty baskets/plates, etc. He brought them their food asking them if their food was what they expected, etc. Jett’s attitude was so awesome that I was actually jealous that he was not our server. Our server was the opposite (don’t get me wrong, he was not bad but he wasn’t attentive like Jett). Our server took a while to come to our table to check up on us. Anyhow, FOOD was great (AS ALWAYS)! I go to a lot of Texas Roadhouses from all over (Florida, all over Texas) this one is of my favorite Texas Roadhouse aside from the one in Houston on FM1960!!

I walk in and sit down at the bar for dinner. The great staff behind the bar greet me by name and go out of their way to make me feel welcome. It's like the Cheers song. "You want to go where everybody knows your name" I go there by myself but never eat alone. The food is great too!

My first time at a Texas Roadhouse exceeded my expectations and was downright delightful! The ribs were sensational, the loaded baked potato was huge, and that (free) BREAD! During my date night at Texas Roadhouse with my babe, I got a frozen Mango margarita that came in a huge glass with another shot of liquor (my choice). The meal was great I had fish and chips along with the combo appetizer we shared, my boyfriend had the steak and ribs plate and it was made medium just as requested even though the place was packed! The food was on point, our server was on time with our food/drink refills and anytime he wasn’t available there was someone close by that made sure our needs were met. This location is perfect for a night out to eat.

This has been one of my best experiences at Texas Roadhouse. Whatever changes were made with the checkin process, it's working! We joined the wait list upon arriving at the restaurant. After circling a few times, we were able to park, and the wait was approximately 5 mins. Our server Kyle was very attentive and anticipated our needs. I always get the catfish, which was fried perfectly, crispy, and not overcooked. I added corn and loaded mash potatoes. The frozen mango margarita was a refreshing treat. My daughter ordered the 8 Oz sirloin and grilled shrimp with mash potatoes and Mac and cheese.

Getting a seat was a very short wait. They said 10 - 20 minutes wait, it was 5 at the very most. During busy times, use WAITLIST to check in faster. We are late tonight, so we went with appetizers and a salad. It was fun to share, and we got served a lot faster. Big favorite is always the rolls and honey butter. Always worth waiting for food, and tearing into those hot rolls.

Simply amazing! The service is on point - the servers were so nice and attentive. The food, for what you pay, is a steal! Sirloin, shrimps, and two sides for just $24. And you get unlimited butter bread! I could live off just by eating this incredible bread and be happy. The vibes are great! A must go place!

Everytime I've come here (with no reservation), there has been a long wait time (like 30 mins to an hour), but I don't mind at all TBH. There's also a bit of the wait for the food to come out. This place is always packed! Have had a great experience with the servers here, they're patient and outgoing. I went in tonight with my Husband and son. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We got seated shortly after arriving, we checked in online beforehand. As soon as we were seated, someone came right over to take our drink orders, service was outstanding! We had refills and never had to ask for them, our food came out fast, the bread served was delicious and we were so well taken care of. The manager made sure everything came out to our liking and we told him everything was great. This is some of the best hospitality and service I’ve had a restaurant in a long time. We left with To-go boxes because we were full (I think the bread was a little to blame lol). We will definitely be coming back for the outstanding service and great food. It was quieter than normal tonight, which we sure appreciated, sometimes it can be too loud for us. Great staff, it makes such a difference in experience all around!

This is the second time I've eaten at a Texas Roadhouse with my family and we ate VERY WELL! (I forgot to take a picture of my sister’s meal.) The service is excellent; very very polite. I recommend the lemonades (I always get strawberry, but the raspberry one is DELICIOUS) The bread, as always, is the best with the butter they put on it. We thought the four dishes would be very expensive, but no way! Less than $100! Go to Texas Roadhouse now for a delicious meal! 😋✨

I went there for my Birthday and the parking lot was packed so we thought we’d have a long wait. I even tried to register to reserve a table online. I didn’t have to, the wait like 5 minutes long. The waiter was polite, found us a table and we were ready to order super fast. We got the 2 can eat for $50 I’m rounding up. The ribeyes oh my goodness tasted like they took a bath in salt!!!! The manager had them make us a new ribeye. This time the salty mushrooms and fried onions were on the side. The 2nd steak was cooked to perfection! Thank you so much! On your birthday they don’t give a complimentary scoop of ice cream 🙁, you just get to sit on there cattle while they sing to you lol.

Our server , was so patient, kind, and professional — she took her time to make sure we were ready to order and made us feel completely at ease throughout our visit. We were also very impressed with ,Josie the manager on duty. When my wife wasn’t completely happy with her meal choice, Josie personally came over, reassured us, and made sure she got exactly what she wanted without any hassle. They promptly replaced the dish and checked back to make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the atmosphere welcoming, and the service truly the best we’ve ever experienced. Robby/Bobby (?) made our entire experience better than usual - we come here 2-3/month. The prime rib was the perfect temperature which is uncommon. Our iced teas stayed full/replenished which is difficult because my husband & I usually drink 3-4 during our meal. The food here is consistently good and it is very convenient for us so when we have a server that knocks it out of the ballpark we are always especially thankful! Great job Roadhouse for hiring great servers with great attitudes! Much appreciated! PS- the sweet potato “loaded” is like a dessert you can’t finish lol Super yummy !

My husband had not eaten the whole entire day due to a busy schedule. He then asked me where I wanted to eat out for a date (so sweet). I had been craving roadhouse but since it was the evening I was nervous about the wait time especially since at this point my husband was cranky and needed food asap. I checked both locations and the Kyle location wait time was 1 hr and 25 min vs the South Park location was 35-45 min so I went ahead with the south austin location. Arrived there and still had to wait 25 min but Elizabeth and Sahar at the check in station were so kind and calm due to the rush of dinner time. :) We then were able to get sat down after 25 min and our server Kelsey was the best! She was on top of our orders and refills and even helped my husband out with his order to customize what he wanted. Of course we had the rolls asap lol, and ordered the potato skins and rattle snake bites! So friendly and never made us feel rushed or anything! It was my first time ordering my steak medium well and it came out delicious! A big thanks to Kelsey and to Roadhouse! I think my husband and I will continue to stick with the south location for now. :)

I'm from Los Angeles, and I can't believe how much good food you can get here. Especially at these prices. Our server (I think her name was Guadalupe?) was awesome and made sure we were taken care of the whole time even though the place was totally packed. Drinks were great. I got the ultimate margarita with a kicker shot and it was plennnnty strong even without the shot. So, they don't mess around with watered-down nonsense drinks, lol. All of our food came out pretty quick, which was great because we were pretty hungry. My steak medallions were a little under the medium rare I requested but not by enough for me to care. I'm sure if I asked, they would have gladly refired them and got them fixed up, but I didn't bother. I'd happily come back again. Great food, service, and prices.

I like the Texas Roadhouse. It's definitely a chain restaurant vibe and located a good distance from downtown. But every time I go they deliver some serious bang for the buck. We had $6 glasses of dark horse cab, some $7 apps, and a $24 16boz ribeye. Seems almost too good to be true. They even showcase the steaks in a freezer window as you walk in. I did smother my steak in onions and cheese for a few extra bucks so who knows if it was cooked to perfection like that. But in the end, I always leave here feeling satisfied. Compare that to some $95 prix fix menus I've had to hit the taco stand after and I give them credit where deserves. Texas Roadhouse delivers a good value on a fun atmosphere of a passionately Texas country style. It's not just me. We had to make friends to stuff ourselves in a seat at the bar vs waiting 45 minutes on a Sunday night.

It's a fun theme. Food is solid but nothing spectacular. Staff is trained well and rocks that busy floor. Had everything from sirloin and shrimp to burgers and their 'road kill' chopped steak and chili. Cheese fries as an app were really good. Good prices and lots of people watching. When I'm with the kids, like tonight, it works. Not really my favorite profile for a restaurant but it served the purpose and I didn't have to load up the dishwasher!

I don’t mind Texas Roadhouse at all. Wife and I are trying not to eat too many carbs and this was actually a decent option. I couldn’t resist getting a blooming onion, it’s one of my favorite things on the menu. We declined the dinner rolls although they are so damn good! I had the bone-in rib eye and chose a salad and veggies as my sides. Wifey got the sirloin (medium but they over cooked a bit) and shrimp with the same sides as me. Besides my wife’s steak being a bit over cooked it was decent for a cheap price. People may laugh at the RH but it’s not terrible for a cheap steak.

Well, as they say happy hour whatever this is but for $11.99 before five I believe, they have a lot of choices a lot of sides and you can’t go wrong, food is hot. Delicious salad is amazing, can’t go wrong.

I immediately questioned the cleanliness of this restaurant. The floor was disgusting and so was my seat. I had to carefully climb in so I wouldn't touch whatever "substance" was on my seat. The tip of the previous customer sitting at our table was left there, we let the hostess know upon seating us and she said someone would grab it soon(halfway through our meal) . The menus stay on the table all day(eww). When I grabbed mine it was sticky! I asked our waiter how often they were cleaning the menus, and he said at the end of the day they get wiped down. I was honestly disgusted. I have to walk in with a mask on for "safety" but I get to touch the same dirty condiment bottles and menus as all the other random joes who has been seated here. Logic is a beautiful thing my friend. Positives: Our food came out at a reasonable time and temperature, and it was delicious. Texas Roadhouse has some of the yummiest yeast rolls and butter you'll try. I highly recommend the country fried steak with loaded potatoes. Their steaks are also quite tasty and seasoned beautifully. 4 stars for really good food, and really nice staff. Lack of 1 star to represent the lack of cleanliness. Overall my family and I had a good time, enjoyed some really good food, and plan to visit again soon. I do recommend.

Chonk go to Texas Roadhouse for first time. Chonk did not care for extreme volume of clientele or music. Chonk was overwhelmed. Service at Roadhouse great. Server and waitstaff friendly and excellent. Staff was well knowledge in Critter vs Tender questioning -- answers will surprise. Food was very tasty. Cinnamon honey butter is Chonk favorite. Great for skin so Chonk apply extra like mask for moisture effect. Chonk get Country Fried Chicken and green bean. Chonk loved flavor. Chonk used reusable straw to drink gravy. After, Chonk slithered all over moist chicken and onions until he observed their flavor. Chonk would go again.

Here is an edit to previous review. I have been back here with family that enjoys eating here. I love the loaded poatoes and steamed broccoli thats what brings me back. I came this time for one of my birthday dinners. I tried another steak and it didnt go so well my medium steak was more like medium rare. However they did give me voucher for my next visit since I didnt want it replaced at the time. So I will be back for another try at something different off the menu beside steak. I would recommend the road kill and the beef tips those are delish and if you enjoy steamed veggies might I suggest the steamed broccoli.

Consistent tasty food is what we usually find at Texas Roadhouse. We grabbed a couple of beers at the bar while waiting for our table. I'll dine at the bar if by myself, but not while on a date with the wife. Fried pickle appetizer-good, but very salty. It is pickles, I know. we ordered the dinner for two for $48.95. Sweet potato is super sweet with marshmallows(note to self-skip these on next visit). Both steaks were good. Ribs were very sweet. Baked potato was PERFECT.

We love Roadhouse, just about the entire state does, but this roadhouse in particular has always been a standout. Before you go it’s worth mentioning that this one is ALWAYS busy. The parking lot may be a difficult place to navigate and you will definitely need to join the waitlist ahead of time. Once you’re in, the hostess is very friendly and they move quickly to get you seated. We could write a love letter to their cinnamon butter and bread (always free), but we’ll spare you from that. We’ve eaten here a few times so instead of going through everything we’ll say their country fried steak, burgers, and fried catfish have always been standouts to us. The portions are always Texas sized as well. There are some times where things can be a bit inconsistent, just like any big chain restaurant, but it’s never bad food like some other places. Bar none, coming here you will always leave here full and without your pockets getting too empty.

Food was good and or server was great. However they do not have very many options for vegetarians and healthier eaters. Please provide more available options for these rates in additional to the many options for others. Also make Combo packages avaliable that come with everything including the complete meal and drink options together for one low price in addition to your other offereings instead of having a la carte items sold infividually. Allow substitutions for meal options without autumnal cost. There is no reason why we should have been charged extra to get a baked sweet potato as a side instead of a baked potato when the meal comes with a choice of sides. So charging more to customers making healthier choices. With these few changes the dining experience could be enhanced. At Texas Roadhouse.

Servers were excellent and attentive. Food was good. The 1/2 slab ribs is a generous portion for the money but unfortunately cooked a little drier than I like. The chili and rolls were delicious. My wife's steak was cooked perfectly, and she enjoyed it. The biggest drawback was the noise. Never coming here again . The waiter was so nice and understanding. We still left a tip bc of how he handled our situation. But it was not worth 70 dollars to have our steaks being almost all fat. Pretty rough at the start. Busy Saturday and we expected that. But we were asked to come inside and stand at a dock to be seated but we ended up standing there for almost half an hour without anyone coming up to us. After we decided to go the few feet to the host stand, it turns out the wrong people were ushered under our name (we understand mistakes happen) but there were four hosts and a manager at the host stand and nobody asked us who we were even after standing there for half an hour. The rest of the visit was fine, but not being sat for an hour and standing there like idiots inside for half an hour of that made the rest of the visit pretty negative.

I enjoy the food. The waitstaff are excellant. The music is very loud. If you ask for it to be turned down your waitperson will give you a look that tells you she has been though this before. As expected she returns to tell its is as low as they can turn it. when you ask to speak to the manager they will tell you it is as low as they are allowed to turn it. I know that this is the same for South Park and Kyle,but I have been in other locations that don,t seem to be so loud.Because the music is so loud everyone is talking very loud trying to communicate.Hard to carry on any conversation.

For a first-time experience, it was very bad. Upon entering, there was no order, or at least I wasn't sure what the system was. People whose names didn't match the reservation slip were being given entry, while we had already been waiting for 40-45 minutes. They would ask people around us for their names, but wouldn't even wait to hear the full name, and even when the name wasn't clearly audible, they were still given access. We were there for almost an hour, and they only asked us for our name very rarely. Once at the table, no dirty dishes were ever cleared. The tables were small with little space, and unlike other restaurants, the dirty plates weren't removed. The food wasn't bad, but I'm not dying to go back to this place.

My experience with Texas Roadhouse has been kinda crazy. I have ordered only to go food from them three times so far and the first time was good. The second time was terrible with a lot of missing items in my order. And after complaining the manager gave me a $15 gift card that I used to get a burger. And the third time (that happened last Saturday) it’s kinda like the second time but with less missing items. Don’t get me wrong. The food is delicious (at least the things that I had tried). But having to wait an hour for just a burger and also getting the items incomplete is crazy. Because none of my orders have been crazy big. Is usually one plate of something with the regular sides included and that’s it. So at least for my experience with the place is not worth the wait or the trouble. Maybe dinning in would be better but at least the to go option is kinda terrible sometimes because of how unpredictable it can be.

I always come to this specific locación and the service is always amazing. This time our waitress, caitlyn, started off polite and attentive to our party(we were a party of 9 celebrating my dads birthday). Towards the end of our visit, my daughter had gotten up to ask caitlyn if they could do the Sandle thing for my dads birthday. She nodded and that was the end of it. After that we waited patiently for them to come with the saddle like they have in the past but when she did come she asked us if we wanted boxes to go. So she had forgotten. I had then gotten up later to ask her again if they could bring the Sandle and when she saw me standing, she avoided me and went on a different route. I tried to go and ask her again and when she saw me again, she avoided me and went down a different route. I had to ask a different waitress about the saddle. They finally brought the saddle and my dad got on and while he was getting off he had said thank you to caitlyn and she didnt say anything back to him nor made eyecontact. Usually our waiters and waitresses do not behave like this and are overly attentive. This was also my dads first time here. The only reason why i didnt put one star is because the food was good and towards the beggining she was good.

The toilets have BLINDING large electronic advertisements in the bathroom. Do they not profit enough off of the food already? They have to earn some fraction of a penny by shoving ads in our face while we use the bathroom? Late stage capitalism garbage. The food is great most of the time! If you order to close to close they will give you bottom of the barrel lukewarm food which is yuck. But other than I really love their food! This location however is very frustrating to deal with especially when ordering Togo. I have had things missing in 4 of my Togo orders. Anytime I try to get them to fix an issue they just deny it. I was supposed to be refunded for 2 orders that were rough $50 and they never did even after saying they did. Very frustrating to deal with especially as a long time customer!

Really frustrating being told to contact corporate then told to email GM. Then guess what? No one will answer me for two months now. Is this really how yall treat your customers? Really awful service. Don’t bother wasting your money here! When they screw up they don’t care.

Beware of Texas Roadhouse cheats. My husband and I went to the Texas Roadhouse for dinner. We had not been in years because of a previous customer service problem. We enjoyed our dinner. Our server was delightful. At the end my husband paid the bill using our debit card. I came in mid transaction and finished it. No problem. We were almost out the door when we were stopped by the server and told our transaction did not go through. The amount was almost $40.00. We apologized, gave a different form of payment and went home to figure the problem. We showed the original payment went through. The restaurant was closed by this time so we decided to ask them to return out payment the next day. My husband brought a printout from our bank and our receipts. He was told that he had to handle it through the bank! They refused to help in any way. Same manager as the previous day. The billed had been successfully paid so they were not out any money. She refused to help. I want to say we did not ask for any additional compensation, only the return of our money. Now my husband has to go to the bank to try to recover the overcharge. That take time away from his day as well as the time spent researching to make sure everything was okay with our bank. Texas Roadhouse has good food but are a serious pain and very, very sus when things are not right.

My husband and I stopped by Texas Roadhouse for dinner and shared the shrimp appetizer, which was good. I ordered an 8-ounce steak cooked rare , but when it came out, the texture was mushy and the inside was gray — definitely not what I expected. The server was kind and brought me another steak, but unfortunately, it had the exact same issue. When the second steak came out, we decided it just wasn’t worth sitting down to eat, so we asked for a box, paid and left immediately. I’m not sure what’s going on with their food lately, but something seems off with the way the steaks are being prepared. Very disappointing experience for a place that’s usually known for great steaks. **update** I ate maybe 3 bites and I woke up at 5am sick to my stomach, I couldn’t go into work today.
